“This place had all the vibes of the perfect donut shop, from the delicious donuts to the lovely atmosphere. Stopped by on break to grab an apple fritter, which was excellent, and the jelly filled options are also excellent. The shop owners were kind and inviting, and I highly recommend everyone stop by to try out their selection. (note: they are cash only, but there is an ATM on site)

Parking: Parking in San Francisco is either super easy or impossible, depending on how lucky you are.

“If you want donuts that are actually fresh—and I mean fresh out of the oven all day long—this is the place.
The prices are incredibly reasonable compared to everywhere else in the area, which is a huge bonus. Everything we’ve tried is delicious, but the donut holes are always a massive hit with the kids in our family. My older son is obsessed with the regular glazed cakes, and my husband never leaves without his maple rounds and maple bars. I couldn’t even get a good picture of them before most were already eaten up!

One thing that really sets them apart is the icing—it’s always freshly made, perfectly soft, and never that hard, crunchy texture you find at other shops. You can honestly taste the love they put into their recipes. On top of that, the owner and staff are so kind; they truly love our community and always make you feel like they’re genuinely looking forward to seeing your face in their shop every single day. “The first time I tried the cinnamon roll, a colleague purchased a variety of donuts to the team. The cinnamon roll was delicious, soft moist and buttery. But the next day I went early in the AM and bought the same cinnamon roll and glaze twist, it was very dry. “Great local donut shop! The donuts are always fresh and the staff is always so welcoming. I mixed it up today and got a bacon, egg, and cheese and it was exceptional. There is a good sitting area as well that is kid friendly. The owners Rick & Rita are very personal as well. I highly recommend!“

“Happy Donut has been a staple place for donuts in San Jose for a long time. My family and I have been going here for years, but it's been a while since I last visited and I was happy to find that the donuts are still delicious (and super fresh) as they always have been. They were also kind enough to throw in some extra donut holes. And you know it's a legit donut shop when it comes in a pink box! I've never had any issues with parking and am usually in and out cause that's just how fast they are.“

“I like my apple fritters to be darker than bourbon, as large as your head and make you regret your life choices by the time you’re halfway through. The ones at this place was none of those things. They were however decadently fatty, very sweet, exceedingly crispy, and the apple bits didn’t overpower the dough, sugar and fat, merely complimenting it. “I recently tried a sandwich and donut shop that’s now under new management, and I was really impressed. I ordered the turkey avocado croissant sandwich along with a Vietnamese coffee, and both were excellent. The sandwich was delicious—fresh veggies, great flavor, and perfectly balanced. Even better, the sandwiches are under $10, which is rare these days.

The Vietnamese coffee had just the right kick and paired perfectly with the meal. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

“All Manley’s aren’t created equal and this one is tops IMO. I’m a donut lover and this place makes a soft pillowy raised donut. Sugar is my favorite accompanied by the chocolate glazed old fashioned. The make breakfast sando’s, serve hot coffee and have a fridge filled with breakfast beverages (7-11 in the same shopping center). Private parking off of Camden Ave and Doordash is available.“

“I was very charmed by this local donut spot. It is an older establishment (so a little run down which honestly just added to the whole experience for me) but very affordable and clean. “Happy Donuts has been our family's favorite donut shop for years! We used to come here with the previous owners, and when the new owners took over they completely remodeled and upgraded everything while still keeping that welcoming neighborhood feel we loved.
The food is AMAZING and the menu is huge. They have everything from classic donuts and super fancy donuts and bagels to breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, and even yummy Thai tea. Our absolute favorites are the glazed cronut holes and the crème brûlée donuts, SO good!!!
The staff is always really cheerful, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. I have 3 girls and they always make a point to greet them too, which honestly means so much as a parent. You can tell they really care about their customers and the community.

“We love the coffee they have and their staff too. They always greet us well and get our order as soon as they can. Sometimes they are seemingly busy and even then they are very nice.

Their donut holes are great and their bagel sandwiches are a great meal too.

My only issue is that the plaza they are in is slightly sketchy and one may not want to stay around there long. I would go there, grab a coffee/snack and run back into my car.“

“Rose Cafe serves excellent burritos. Their most popular items are breakfast burritos and steak burritos. To me, the breakfast burritos are a bit too salty, but I love their steak burritos. They have a generous portion of steak and egg, plus hashbrowns inside. Eating them with their salsa is delicious.“

“Wow, some of the best donuts I've ever tested. Stop in late afternoon. Selection was good and they were all ridiculously fresh. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area. “PRE-ORDERS ARE NEVER HONORED WITH THIS CHAIN!!!! Ordered yesterday for pick up tonight and not even an hour before pick up, I get a call saying they're all out of all of the ones for my order. Then proceeded to say that they honor walk in orders over prepaid orders...wtf?! This was going to be a surprise for my child in the morning. WAY TO GO KRISPY KREME! So just fyi.... they're delivery option sucks and their order system is fricken horrible. They don't honor orders...at all! Ya just lost a long time customer. Never supporting this chain again. O'Henry's is better!“

“My favorite local donut shop. They tend to be busy but they get people in and out very quickly. They have a variety of fresh yummy donuts and usually thrown in an extra when you purchase a dozen. My favs are the glaze, chocolate and cinnamon twists - love the classics. Their breakfast croissant sandwiches are really good too. I like the #1 with jalapenos. Can't go wrong here!“

Had their Korean corn dog as well which was ok, it wasn't great it wasn't the worst.

“Mochicream has a stand in Plano, TX at one point and decided to close shop. It was a very sad day to see it go. They had the best mochi ever! Their mochi is flown over from Japan and arrives frozen. Once you thaw it, you get this very soft, delicate texture that's rich and creamy. The most popular one is double mango. It's sold out on the weekends so it's best to order a lot if you are a fan of mango. Other flavor that are a hit, cafe au lait, black sesame, blueberry and azuki. Don't let the price deter you from trying the most amazing mochi.“

“Normally when I go to Dunkin’ the staff doesn’t seem to care if they even have a job. But today at this Dunkin I met probably one of the best employees at any Dunkin I’ve ever been to. “Tonight was my very first time ordering and getting Dunkin Donuts before. I downloaded the app and put in an order for pick up to be ready at 7:45pm. I arrived right in time and got to the speaker where the lady (Taylor) apologized and informed me one of the donuts I ordered they were out of, she gave me options of other donuts so I went with a Boston one. I got to the window and she apologized again and told me she threw in a few free baked goods to make up for not having a chocolate sprinkle one. I thought that was very kind of her, I was not expecting that.
