“The best cookies I’ve had in a while. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but these are so so good! I love the new variety of flavors every week and how they’re so unique and different than the generic cookies you buy in the grocery store. The price isn’t too bad either! For a box of 6 cookies it’s $22 but the cookies are HUGE. I can never finish one by myself so I leave them to the rest of my family. “This particular branch is located inside Mitsuwa; to the left when you walk in...past Hokkaido Ramen Santouka. They do a great job with the Mochi Donuts here. The Mochi Cupcakes are also very good. While this isn't a standalone venue, the menu here seems to be expanding frequently. In addition to their standard Mochi Donuts they keep adding new items. Not that I'm complaining...just an observation. Actually I'm ecstatic! I haven't seen some of these creative new items before. #Sugar ~ Matcha Mochisada - 5/5 These were amazing. Not too sweet or bitter, perfectly balanced Matcha cream on the inside. ~ Mochi Cupcake Black Sesame - 4/5 Excellent flavor. Not too sweet or bitter and the texture is spot on; delightfully chewy without being too dry. I prefer the Cupcakes over the donuts, better texture for me. ~ Matcha BRIOCHE - 4/5 Another brilliant creation. Mochi Brioche with Matcha cream filling. Delish! Can't wait to see what else they're going to come up with.“

The danish of the day was strawberry passionfruit and oh my goodness, I wish I had gotten two! Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!“

“I realized that I haven't written a Google review for The Celtic Tea Shoppe yet. I went to there today and I was glad that they're open. The day before, they were closed due to a family emergency. The owners are wonderful people. I got a Scotch Whisky Fudge for my sister. I also got Salted Caramel Corn, Ginger Newts, pumpkin pasty, and two apple pasties. All of which that I love to get. I have never tried soda bread before so I'll get that next time. I'll be going there again soon.“

“I ordered a 4 tier cake for my wedding. I asked if they would be able to do the old vintage cake designs. I was told yes. I sent several detailed emails and pictures of what I wanted. The cake was NOTHING close in design, outside of 4 levels, nothing else looked like the pictures. Only one of the colors, only a couple flowers. Then, 1 hour into the reception the cake fell over. I never even got to cut my 4 tiered cake! When I brought it up after, she blamed the heat. There was air conditioning in the venue! She offered to redo it for pictures. I agreed then never heard from her. I contacted her multiple times and I just today get an email from her saying she can't do that after all. I lost money, had a mediocre cake that looked nothing like the inspo picture I sent, and had my cake fall over and barely salvaged enough for the guests. This is a horrible business who doesn't care about making a cake for something as important as a wedding. My dream cake was ruined. I should've gone with someone else. What a horrible bakery. Liars and unprofessional. If you don't know how to do vintage designs don't sat you do! And do not offer a remake if you don't mean it! If you're looking for a multi tiered wedding cake, do not use them!“

“Very yummy creations! The Mango Mouse cake tasted amazing. I can tell they use a lot of real mangos for the flavor to come through :) the textures of the cake were so fun too since it’s a mix of creamy and crunchy. I also love how adventurous they are with their drinks! Haven’t tried their macarons yet (their staples) but I’m sure they are divine. I can tell the owner cares a lot about the product and customer experience. There are some tables inside if you want to eat and chill. I will definitely continue to support this local bakery!“

“Paris Avenue is a delightful bakery with a cozy French atmosphere. We stopped by and tried the veggie quiche, which was flavorful and perfectly baked, along with a pastry that was light and delicious. The service was quick, making for a pleasant experience. I’d love to come again to try their cakes, which looked tempting. A great spot for a quick bite or a sweet treat!“

Update Jan 2026: Went more recently and didn't like the caramel chocolate mousse one. It seemed like it was starting to become stale. And the ice coffee was soso as well.“

“Bakery known for high quality pastries and cakes with unique flavors. I ordered an earl gray cloud cake over the phone the previous day and picked it up as soon as the store opened. Upon arrival, I was enticed by the fresh smell of bread and saw they were packaging freshly made bread so I bought their milk cream bread and coffee bun to try. Definitely glad I did because the fresh pastries tasted amazing! Pastries are average priced compared to competitors but their quality and flavors give them the edge. Staff were also patient and kind, helping recommend to me their most popular pastries while ringing up my order. I would definitely come back to try their different pasties and other cake flavors.

Their coffee buns ($4) and milk cream bread ($3.50) were perfect. The coffee buns had a subtle scent of coffee that filled the air upon unwrapping it, and the bun itself had a mildly sweet flavor with a fluffy, hollow and chewy interior. There milk cream bread had a perfectly sweet cream filling that paired well with the butter and fluffy dough surrounding it.

In all honesty the earl gray cloud foam cake was missing the earl gray flavor I was looking for. However the cake overall was enjoyable – the chocolate cake layers were smooth and buttery while the cream around the cake was the perfect sweetness. I just wished the cream had more earl gray essence.“

“I got my wedding cake from them and people would tell us how good it was. So we also got my husband his graduation cake, which was a custom warrior theme cake. It was tasty and looked so nice!“

My cousin and I went here yesterday and everything about the store was amazing. The lady that served us was super nice and welcoming to us and helped me pick out which kind of food to eat since I've never had banh-mi (hard to choose since there were so many different options for food) before and the food was delicious! The best part of all was the pricing; I got a large sandwich, can of chips, a large cookie, a bag of bread, and a can of coke (which was free) all for just $12!

If you ever get the chance, please go shopping here, the store has a wide variety of delicious option.“

“PQ provided the cakes for our wedding, and they were hands down the best we’ve ever had at a wedding. We ordered a 6-inch single-tier cake for our cutting/photos and two sheet cakes for the guests. The flavors—Berry Chantilly and 'It’s Bananas'—were both incredibly delicious and sophisticated. For the display cake, we went with a simple white textured design that our florist added fresh flowers to, and it looked like a work of art. Beyond the quality, PQ was super communicative, straightforward, and easy to work with. Our guests complimented the cakes all night. We would order from them again in a heartbeat. Honestly fighting the urge to order a custom cake for any random week because they are just so delicious.“

“I brought my 90 yr old Dad to his favorite Mexican bakery, it had been several years since he had visited last.
He ordered maranitos, ojo de torro, white conchas , empanadas de piña and niño envuelto.
I had no idea they all had such unusual names. I usually just point to the kind I want. 😄
Besides the beautiful pan the employees are friendly and helpful. And if you walk in and you don't see anyone in front make sure to give the bell a ring.“

Taro sesame balls are so good. The perfect, almost crispy exterior is met with delicate inside texture. Of course not too sweet but just the right amount of sweetness. Loved the amount of sesame on the outside, too.

I also got pandan waffle. I liked it more than the one I got in Little Saigon before. I’d come here for that next time. The yellow steamed cake (not sure what this is called) was bit denser than I was expecting, but still, nice subtle sweetness - something I’d love to make at home.“

“I am a big mochi donut fan so dropped by here today and I will say they did have some good mochi donuts.

Had their Korean corn dog as well which was ok, it wasn't great it wasn't the worst.

Only issue is the pricing, for 3 donuts it's currently $10 which is ok once but I couldn't justify that price often.“

“A wonderful REAL bakery, making bread on a rotating stone in front of you. We bought a Persian bread: somewhere between a naan and a focaccia covered in white and black sesame seeds. It was still warm and we devoured it between the two of us in the car over the next 20 minutes. Heavenly taste and consistency with nothing added. We also bought a bag of taftoon: naan-like large round flatbreads which we ate over the next two days for picnic meals. They were also delicious with a great texture and they kept well. This is a real artisan baker. There is no fancy store front. There is only the oven, a counter and the bread. Wishing them continued success!“

“I was looking for a bakery to get my 1 year old a cake, since it was last minute that we decided to get him a cake for his birthday today and I wasn’t expecting to find a place that would make it right on the spot, but I was lucky enough to find Nubia’s Pastelería..they told me that they only take orders but that since it was a small cake they would do an exception and decided to take my order and had the cake ready within 30 minutes. I was impressed, and the cake came out super delicious and the decoration was beautiful. Beyond my expectations! Thank You Ladies!“

“2 out of 3 times my bagel was toasted just right (one time was burned). Those are pretty good odds. If you get there early, the bagels are still warm from being freshly made and are even more delicious. They are generous with the schmear, which is nice compared to other places that are stingy with it. There is a cozy dining area, which is just right for eating my bagel while still waking up.“
