“I was really excited to visit this shop after watching their YouTube videos. You can clearly see how much passion they have for coffee and how committed they are to supporting the community, which is what made me want to come in.
I stopped by on a Monday to buy a bag of whole beans to brew at home. I asked for a recommendation and mentioned I was planning to do pour-overs. I was also trying to find something that was not fruity and leaned more bold, since I have had light, fruity coffees in the past that were not my preference.
I was recommended a Flower Child coffee, which turned out to be very light and fruit-forward. While it was not the right fit for my personal taste, it was clearly a high-quality coffee and I can see why someone who enjoys floral and fruity profiles would really love it.
I think this shop shines in the quality of their beans and the care they put into sourcing. For customers who are still learning coffee terminology, a bit more guidance or clearer labeling could make the experience even better.
Overall, this is a great spot with knowledgeable people and a strong mission, and I definitely plan on coming back. Now that I know more about how to describe what I like, I am excited to try something else next time.“

“This place had all the vibes of the perfect donut shop, from the delicious donuts to the lovely atmosphere. Stopped by on break to grab an apple fritter, which was excellent, and the jelly filled options are also excellent. The shop owners were kind and inviting, and I highly recommend everyone stop by to try out their selection. (note: they are cash only, but there is an ATM on site)

Parking: Parking in San Francisco is either super easy or impossible, depending on how lucky you are.

“dr.ink is such a hidden gem in the heart of downtown san jose, literally right across from san pedro sqaure market! the staff were super welcoming and genuinely took the time to recommend drinks based on what we liked. they also explained how each drink is crafted and what their specialties are, which made the experience feel way more personal and fun.

the atmosphere is cozy, calm, and perfect if you need a quiet study spot, want to get work done, or just catch up with friends over coffee. the drinks were amazing and you can tell they really care about quality here. definitely recommend checking this spot out if you’re in downtown sj!“

I have been wanting to stop by for ages, and I stopped in this afternoon after dropping off my kid for music classes across the street. Sadly just ate lunch so no need for pastries but I can always do an iced latte! They serve Chromatic brand coffee and you can get it with a variety of syrup flavors: caramel, hazelnut, raspberry, etc. $6 including tip. Honestly, it is a STEAL for handcrafted coffee compared to Starbucks - and it supports the neighborhood! We’ll be back for pastries, Preligen!“

“The first time I tried the cinnamon roll, a colleague purchased a variety of donuts to the team. The cinnamon roll was delicious, soft moist and buttery. But the next day I went early in the AM and bought the same cinnamon roll and glaze twist, it was very dry. Maybe less butter used this go around IDK, and I'm not telling anyone not to go, try it you may have better luck. That's my experience 👎🏾“

“I’ve passed by this tea shop many times because it’s located right next to both a middle school and a high school. My child often comes here with friends after school, so I’ve done countless drop-offs and pick-ups—but this was actually my first time coming inside and dining here.
I met a rather picky friend here on short notice since it was the most convenient place nearby. I was honestly a bit worried about what she would think, but as soon as we walked in, she immediately noticed and complimented the interior. It’s simple, but very clean and well-kept.
We both ordered coffee (different flavors), and we were pleasantly surprised by how good they were—rich, aromatic, and genuinely impressive. The menu also offers a wide variety of teas, snacks, and food options.
It seemed like there was only one person managing the shop, and they have a bell you can ring if no one is at the counter. Despite that, the service was excellent. My friend found her drink a bit strong and asked for extra ice, which was handled quickly. When we were leaving, we asked if they could reseal the cup, and they thoughtfully replaced it with a new one and sealed it again.
The service really stood out—truly a 10/10 experience—and it honestly made me feel proud for choosing this place to meet my friend. The fried snacks also looked very tempting, and I’ll definitely be coming back more often.

“I was very charmed by this local donut spot. It is an older establishment (so a little run down which honestly just added to the whole experience for me) but very affordable and clean. Good donuts (very generous raspberry filling), tasty breakfast sandwich, hot diner coffee, the sweetest lady behind the counter, and regulars who were happy to see each other.“

The portuguese cheese and prosciutto sandwich was good but next time will not get it toasted as the cold cheese itself is wonderful! the Pasteis di nata are the best littleegg tarts as I found them to be a bit dry, but then again get another coffee! Owner was so friendly and the place adequate for being an older establishmen.“

We hosted a party bus for our gym families for christmas and our first stop was this cafe, due to the amount of people we had, the cafe kindly closed for us for an hour and we were so grateful!, considering we had many toddlers and children. They loved the giant Abuelita hot cocoa and the giant Gingerbread. It was the perfect treat! Clean restrooms, beautiful space, great service & good coffee!“

The menu has variety, but not to the point of being overwhelming.
I had the dulce de leche pancakes combo, the pancakes 🥞 were HUGE!!! They were just a bit too dense for me, I prefer them light & fluffy. I had bacon and country potatoes with my pancake combo and both were really good. My friend had the chorizo scramble and added avocado. 🥑 she said it was really good, the portions are very big, so you’re definitely getting what you pay for.
The servers were very kind and attentive, the restaurant is very big as well, so it would be great for parties and get togethers. No complaints“

I ordered a drink by mistake bc I had forgotten what I ordered last time. The employees there offered me 2 samples to drink from to see if any of them resembled the drink I got the previous times. I found my drink and she made it for me. Outstanding service! Love the neighbors!“

“If you want donuts that are actually fresh—and I mean fresh out of the oven all day long—this is the place.
The prices are incredibly reasonable compared to everywhere else in the area, which is a huge bonus. Everything we’ve tried is delicious, but the donut holes are always a massive hit with the kids in our family. My older son is obsessed with the regular glazed cakes, and my husband never leaves without his maple rounds and maple bars. I couldn’t even get a good picture of them before most were already eaten up!

One thing that really sets them apart is the icing—it’s always freshly made, perfectly soft, and never that hard, crunchy texture you find at other shops. You can honestly taste the love they put into their recipes. On top of that, the owner and staff are so kind; they truly love our community and always make you feel like they’re genuinely looking forward to seeing your face in their shop every single day. “Cute cafe! Lots of seats! Conducive! But it got pretty packed because it’s in a very high traffic shopping square. The baristas were really nice, efficient, and they were jolly!

The flat white I ordered was served in a 12oz and should have been in a 6-8oz instead, BUT it still tasted fantastic. They used medium roast! The coffee was strong, had fruity/cherry and dark chocolate nuances!

The banana nut bread even after being heated, wad a but dry, good flavor, but texture wasnt as nice as I had wanted.

“It was my second time coming here. I went with an older friend of mine from church. I tried the chai latte last time and the Thai iced tea today. Both times were great service. A very nice little shop, the lady there was very friendly. Both drinks were amazing. Would highly recommend this place, and there is some area to sit outside around the corner as well.“

“I popped into the Cupertino location as I was visiting my son in the valley for a week. I’m an author and suggested to Billy the manager that I have a book signing and he was enthusiastic. I did have the book signing. It went very well. I sold some books people had fun and I had met so many nice people. I will definitely be back there when I’m in the valley.“
