“Omg THE BEST VEGAN DONUTS I’ve ever had! I was craving Boston Cream Pie donuts and they knocked it out of the park! I tried a lil bit of everything, all of their donuts are HEAVEN! Also, if you’re a cappuccino lover you must try their cappuccino! I got one with oat milk - THE BEST CAPPUCCINO EVER! lol this place is heaven.“
“After school my little one craved some shaved ice. I wasn't sure where to go but I came across this spot while searching and we decided to give it a go. I'm glad we did it was delicious. I got the raspberry lychee shaved ice and it was perfect. My boyfriend tried his with condensed milk and enjoyed it, I tried and it made it take more like an ice cream. Not bad! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The vibe definitely gives that Hawaii vibe and there is some seating available inside too. We will be back.“
“Ordered 4 drinks (all iced) : Coconut latte, cinnamon latte, rose latte, and pineapple passion sparkling water, im not much of a coffee person (i ordered the pineapple passion) but they were all very good! Went on a saturday around 3pm and it was busy in there but the staff did a great job handling all the orders. Cashier was very friendly and helpful with recommendations and the young lady calling out the ready orders was also friendly <3“
“Favorite place to get açaí! My favorite is the Bom Dia bowl but I love that you can make your own bowl and add whatever flavors, fruits, and toppings you want. It’s located right inside a cute plaza/open courtyard with tables and chairs if you want to eat there which is great for when the weather is nice!“
“Carol treated us very kindly. Order cold pot coffee and a duvalín latte. A little disappointed because the duvalin drink doesn't taste like duvalin, I think it's nesquik. However, the coffee was delicious and the bread was delicious!“
“Orange sunrise is my go to place for tamales. Their meat to masa ratio is fair, the salsa is great, and the texture is spot on. I also love their vampire juice - such a great combo of veggies and fruits. Highly recommend their tortas as well for a quick lunch!“
“Came on a Saturday (grand opening) to be welcomed by the amicable owner and staff. Ambiance is nice and a very clean establishment. Several healthy drinks to choose from - I am Awesome is a little on the sweeter side and I am Amazing tastes a little more earthy. Plenty of parking in the plaza, easy to find. Really enjoy the postitive affirmation names.“
“I'll take 138 teaspoons, please.Teaspoon is a Bay Area original bubble tea chain which I grew to love in San Jose. They've rapidly expanded since those days and have even made to other states, including the Las Vegas area where I mostly hang out these days. I'm pretty sure they utilize a tea espresso system to keep the tea quality high, and I can't recall their tea flavor ever failing me ta any location.I had recently received a free birthday drink in my rewards account (pro tip: give them your personal info) and I had an errand to run nearby, so I figured it was convenient enough to use the offer. I tried to place a mobile order but it apparently was too confusing for me to use. Fortunately, the employees were nice and got my order entered, reward redeemed, and drink prepared in rapid succession.I usually gravitate toward milk tea, and Black Sugar Assam ($5.75, ~23 fl oz) looked newer to me within that category. It comes with honey boba included, which I usually eschew for caloric savings but didn't mind trying. The boba is as good as anyone makes it, with balanced chewiness and softness. You can tell that it's sweeter than non-honey-marinated boba too. As for the drink, the assam black tea flavor and the black sugar flavors are both prominent, and the drink has a good creaminess that doesn't linger on the palate. I forgot to request lower sugar, but the sweetness level was actually not too high. This location is standing-room only. I guess I don't mind that since I'm usually grabbing something to-go anyway, but if you want to hang out with your friends or pretend to study for a test, you may want to try elsewhere.I would actually love for Teaspoon to become as popular and as commonplace as Starbucks. They're a consistently good bubble tea spot and surely have enough variety to satisfy most boba fans.“
“"I WANT GONG CHA", I scream to myself every time I pass by this place. Gong cha is in my neighborhood and conveniently located on my way home. The drinks are good and consistent. The folks that work there are so nice and get 5 stars too! I like to get some boba with the fam and play one of their board games. I see people working and studying there all the time and it has a very chill vibe. Highly recommended stopping here if you're in Willow Glen.“
“Decent environment and devices are good. The system is also good, containing a comprehensive set of songs, even some recent released new songs. You can bring your own drinks in. $29 per hour for a small room in afternoon time and can afford up to 4 people. Generally good experience.“
“I have been going to this location for years and it's always a good experience. Whenever I visit the store it is so clean! The workers take great care of cleaning the yogurt machines and the topping bar. Fruits are very fresh. I see the workers replacing the banana if it starts turning brown or any other fruits if it does not look fresh. The yogurt is always so consistent and never watery. My go-to flavors are plain tart and pistachio! Can never go wrong with plain tart, it's so refreshing eating on a hot sunny day!“
“Their ordering process is different than most boba tea shops.Pros: a very customizable modus operandi. You'll probably feel empowered getting your special drink of the day. :) It's made to order by friendly staff. Real human interactions. Quick service. Mostly organized and clean environment.Cons: If you have trouble reading those colorful various-fonted words, or are simply being fickle, God bless you and the staff who takes your order. ?You first pick cup size (24oz or 36oz), choose hot or cold, then tea type, milk, sweetness and topping. You can add up to three fruity flavors. There are certain toppings they don't carry such as puddings.I ordered a triple shot not knowing what it is, neither did the cashier, "A type of tea" is the answer I got. Can't taste any add-on flavors but the mango popping boba bursted happily in my mouth. Though it tasted a bit artificial, it was delightful enough.Seating is limited, only three tables inside. They should've added more both indoors and outdoors. Biz has been picked up comparing to plandemic era when sit-in wasn't allowed and it was depressing. Now fast forward four years later their overall social vibe is still lacking.Parking: Weird set-up of store entrance. It feels like entering the backside from parking lot. Crowded space during weekends.“
“Forever my favorite nuoc mia spot! From teenage years to now. They have proven to be a solid sugar cane juice place. Family owned and with relatively fast service. It's a small place so don't expect too much. Order what you need and go. Because this place is a little far from me, I usually get the 1/2 gallon and then drink it within 2-3 days.“
“I came to Macu Tea simply because my initial boba spot was unexpectedly closed. Originally from Taiwan, this highly popular franchise specializes in fresh fruit teas consisting of REAL fruit. My order: *Tieguanyin Oolong Milk Tea + Chi-Chi Salted Cheese Foam *Yukult Green Tea + Bo-Bo Agar *Passionfruit Li-Li Tea [requested to be extra sweet] *Ruby Grapefruit Li-Li Tea Drinks are delightfully refreshing and not overly sweet. I appreciate Macu's teas actually taking like tea and not sugar water. 75% sweet is definitely my go-to style of ordering. Bonus points for Macu actually using fresh fruit when applicable- both the passion fruit bits and grapefruit elevated the flavors and provided with a nice difference in textures. 4/5 stars. This is definitely a good option whenever i'm in the mood for tea and am not willing to do much driving.“
“Lee's sandwich shop was a quick stop for lunch while in town for an event so made the walk over to order up since the online order was not available until 6pm. Instantly you knew why it was a bit unorganized in the ordering and order come out process. Multiple people saying I ordered this and got the incorrect item and I'm talking a chicken skewer ordered ended up coming out as a sandwich. After getting through the ordering process you get your number and each item gets called out one by one rather than getting the entire order out in one so you end up with 5 bags. The food was tasty, the #6 bbq pork bahn mi wasn't the best I've had but it was tasty, the bread had great texture and balance of crunch and chew and the filling paired well with the sweetness from the pork, the vinegar punch of the picked veggies and the spice from the jalapeño paired well. The sandwich was a great size for the price as well and filling so a bargain if you split it or save half for later on the day. The spring rolls were refreshing and fresh with a balanced peanut sauce for dipping. All in all a good meal but with the now open sign out front I think some time to fix some of the kinks out would make it even better.“
“O guau Panaderia La Estrella es un buen lugar el pan muy riquísimo todos los días voy a ese lugar a comprarme mi café y mis conchitas claro lo único poquito malo del lugar es el parqueadero del parqueadero es muy pequeño y hay que tener pelear un poquito con esperar turno paga para poderse parquear pero el el pan riquísimo lo recomiendo“
“1st time here and I just work around the corner. A hidden jem. The waitress was friendly and made my drink in minutes. The atmosphere is awesome with cool jams and plenty of seats and tables. I'll definitely be back here to to catch some light refreshment with teas, and popcorn chicken for my afternoon cravings.“
“Great drinks, food, interiors! I love coming here. They get busy so the service so just be ready to give your order when it’s your turn! And with that also be aware when trying to secure a table during post-work hours or weekends. There is wifi, but it changes daily and you have to buy something.I got the avo toast that comes w/ two toasts which is very large and can easily be shared.“
“Possibly my favorite bahn mi. The #5 roasted pork is tender inside with a crisp outside and the same is true for the bread. The flavor is spiced (not spicy) and savory with a touch of almost subliminal sweet. The pork and chicken chaud is fantastic and the Vietnamese ice coffee is solid. The setup is tailored more to go, but the appliances and food on display is well lit, clean, and appealing. Finally, the price is fair. And if you have a lot of mouths to feed and/or save the sandwiches for later, you can get 1 free if you buy four.“
“Service: Polite, fast, and helpful.Ambiance: Nicely decorated. Clean. Used to have a bathroom, but blocked off since Covid. Music playing in the background.Food: QQ Happy Family Milk Tea - (4/5) If you can't decide on what topping to get? This drink has it all - pearls, mini pearls, red bean, pudding, and grass jelly.Peach Kiwi Tea with Aiyu Jelly - (4/5) refreshing and delightfully good.Golden Retriever (Black Milk Tea) - (4/5) Very similar to the QQ Happy Family drink.“
“Love their milk tea both hot and cold. Smooth tea with good balance between milk and tea flavor. Smoothie needs to be more blended to be smoother because so much pieces of ice left. But mango smoothie with yogurt is comparable to mango lassi taste, pretty good. Also very yummy pandan waffle, soft, not overly sweet. Good price. Very nice staff. Quick service. Cute store.“
“This place is so aesthetically pleasing and cute for some photo ops. Only thing I would comment on is the service, they didn't come out from the back once since we walked in, but I guess it's because they might just expect people to order on the kiosk. I just ordered the fish balls and my cousin ordered the jasmine taro, Thai tea, and popcorn chicken. Over all we liked the food and drinks and would come back to try a different drink :)“
“I recently visited Lucky Tea with my family and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and efficient. We decided to try a variety of drinks, and each one exceeded our expectations.I personally ordered the Sun Moon Lake Black Milk Tea with crystal boba, less ice, and no sugar. It was a delightful blend of rich, aromatic black tea with the perfect sweetness from the crystal boba. I appreciated the option to customize my drink to suit my preferences, and Lucky Tea nailed it with the balance of flavors. The tea wasn't overly sweet, allowing the natural taste of the high-quality ingredients to shine through. One noteworthy aspect was the convenience of ordering through the kiosk. It streamlined the process, making it quick and easy to customize our drinks exactly how we wanted them. The interface was user-friendly, and it added a modern touch to the overall experience. The ambiance of Lucky Tea made our time there even more enjoyable. Whether you're catching up with friends, working, or just looking for a cozy spot to relax, Lucky Tea provides a comfortable environment for everyone. In summary, Lucky Tea offers a wide range of delicious drinks with the added benefit of customizable options. The Sun Moon Lake Black Milk Tea was a standout for me, and the kiosk ordering system added a modern and efficient touch to the overall experience. I highly recommend Lucky Tea to tea enthusiasts and anyone looking for a welcoming tea house with exceptional beverages.“
“After a night out with friends, we decided to stop by Tisane. Tisane is great because they were open late! When I got there, I noticed that there was a long line of people, but luckily it went by fast! Since it was my first time there, I decided to go with a favorite and got the Green Panda Tea! This drink was very good and was reminiscent of pandan.Inside the place, there are seats to sit and lounge with your friends. There is also tons of parking too!“
“Despite the prominent signs for boba tea, this is actually a family-owned restaurant whose main dish is a Vietnamese fish noodle soup called Bún Mắm. It is made with round spaghetti-like rice noodles, pork, fish, squid, shrimp, eggplant, pieces of tender fish mixed with multiple types of fermented fish paste. It is also served with lime and many fresh herbs and vegetables such as slivers of banana blossom, bean sprouts, lettuce and mint. I mostly order the #2 Bún Nươc Lèo Sóc Trăng, which is a plain fish and pork noodle soup without fermented fish paste that comes with a fried shrimp cake on the side. The broth is delicious and flavorful. I sometimes crave it when I’m not feeling well like chicken noodle soup. The service is on point and especially good if you speak Viet. That said, the menus have English and this is a good experience for non-Viet people who want to try something other than pho. This place should really be more popular considering how good the food is. It’s often half empty while other nearby restaurants are bustling. The boba signs and online description are confusing; I can’t tell if it’s a boba tea shop or a restaurant. In my opinion, they should split off the boba tea completely so that they can focus completely on marketing the Bún Mắm restaurant because it is a great dish that more people should know about.Parking: Can get a little tricky finding parking during peak hours.“
“Excellent Vietnamese and asian fusion food. Staff is very friendly and engaging. As long as it is not too busy, they would be happy to chat with you on a variety of topics. Fun place to hang out when there is a sports game on, or even to do some work outside of office. A variety of drink options too, and they are constantly upgrading their offerings.Parking: Go around the Walgreens’s and get to the back of the building, there is a large lot there and can access the back door.“
“Visit this on their 5th year anniversary. Today, 10/28, it is by one get one free. It is pretty busy and line keep building. The drink is pretty good, but most of them are from syrup. We also order the sampler , popcorn chicken, fried mushroom, and fried calamari. The chicken is ok. Mushroom and calamari are good. The drink is ok. It is similar to other boba places.“
“Really good but too much msg make you cough so cant eat on the regular. The free soup was ok initially but tastes gross lately. water sometimes is not good but this time is ok. These are not a big problem as long as the beef n pork ribs are good. I like this place better than other.“
“Good burger and fries, prices seems for the amount of food. The person taking lacked English skills. My friend ask a simple question and she did not understand we both kept asking the question about 3 different ways before she understood and gave us an answer.“
“Was visiting my friends shop in the same plaza and seen kung fu tea. I've always seen this milk tea spot in the Sacramento and Stockton area but never in San Jose, so I had to try it. Their menu is different from the spots around here which is more of a milk tea Taiwanese tea spots. This place serves a more fruity milk tea which I like. I got the guava slush with chua seeds and it was really good. I had to try the kf milk tea which was tasty too. The service was top notch. The lovely lady helped me fix my order because there was a special offer today for a free pistachio milk tea and she added it for me on the side because I messed up and didn't add it myself. This place is nice and clean inside and out. I will be coming back to try the other flavors.“
“As a Berkeley student, I drink a lot of boba every year and the House Milk Tea, boba and 80% sweetness at N7 continues to be the best drink I’ve ever tried. It’s milkier and creamier than most milk teas I’ve tried, and it’s extremely flavorful. A con is that drinks are pricey, and finding parking can be difficult. The joint is very spacious and service is lightning quick.“
“i literally love tastea so much i actually want it everyday and the boba texture is so good like its not too hard or too soft its the perfect bounce AND THE FLAVOR IS SO GOOD. i would drink it everyday. and the workers are nice and fast and the inside is cute. 10/10 would recommend.“
“We were looking for a brunch spot in a Sunday morning to try and we stumbled upon Bill of Fare on Yelp. I decided to order the Monte Cristo and my boyfriend decided on the Chicken Fried Steak. We also ordered the Mama’s Greek Yogurt as a dessert to try.Monte Cristo: 10/10Wow! What a dish! The Monte Cristi consists of bread with cheese, ham, Turkey, and havarti on the inside. This one tasted really good alone but when I dipped it in the raspberry jam, I was pleasantly surprised by the well balanced taste of it while eating. It comes with a side of either hash browns, fries, cottage cheese, or fresh fruit (for an additional charge). Highly recommend to try!Chicken Fried Steak: 8/10The chicken mixed with the gravy was good. It came with some toast, eggs and your choice of a side of either hash browns, fries, cottage cheese, or fresh fruit (for an additional charge). The toast was a bit too dry.Mama’s Greek Yogurt: 10/10Must get!!! The Greek yogurt is made in house. When it first came out, my boyfriend and I thought we weren’t going to be able to finish it but we were wrong. We devoured this dessert even though we were super full. The yogurt was very creamy and not too sweet. It blended really well with the strawberries, blueberries, nuts, and honey. This one I would highly recommend trying!!!Very solid brunch spot. I would recommend coming here for some good breakfast, brunch, or lunch! It was a bit busy during the time we came around 10AM. The workers were accommodating and friendly.“
“The only reason i’m writing this review is because of the service. I was pretty nervous to order something new so when i got an okinawa milk tea (D11) i realized my mistake. i had got it with fresh milk meaning the drink was almost entirely milk. However, as i told the cashier my conundrum, the cashier was still incredibly nice and welcoming. she offered to make me the okinawa roasted milk tea (D13) to replace the one i already ordered. and nail in the coffin was that the new drink is now one of my favorites. she was completely understanding and sweet and i’m definitely coming back!! <33“
“My friend has brought me here twice now. She's a regular and usually brings her own goats' milk. I believe she usually gets Thai Java (thai iced tea with coffee). I've tried two drinks; jasmine goats milk tea with boba and Oolong coconut milk tea with grass jelly. Peter's recommendation on the Oolong was fantastic. You can definitely taste the stronf tea leaf flavor! Yum!They use boba that is made in the United States, use high-quality milks and organic vegan milks, and real fruit offerings for their fruit drinks. So far, I'm impressed with the flavor and quality! Make sure you try it out for yourself!“
“If you want to drink sugarcane juice, I feel this is a place that sells quality sugarcane juice, the large size is really large. I think they add sugar to the sugarcane juice because it has very little sugarcane flavor and is a bit sweet because of the sugar (I'm not sure) but you should try it.“
“I was warmly greeted when entering. I ordered a juice and it was so delicious! I got a tamal de raja and tamal de pollo. Asked for both sauces on top and it was the best tamales I've tried in San Jose! Will be coming again in the future. Thanks to Mari for being so nice. She made the experience worth returning, I look forward to coming again!“
“For me, this is the best pho in SJ. It's southern style pho which I prefer. The broth is amazing, it hits every single note I feel like pho broth should have (salty, little sweet, umami, beefy, rich but light) Portions are good, and the broth comes out piping hot! I also love that noodles are cooked perfectly -- soft but a tiny bit al dente so the noodles don't get soggy by the end of the bowl, and not cut into little pieces. Their chili oil is good and service is great. Servers are attentive and overall staff is friendly. I live by so many pho places just 5 min away from me but I'll drive 20 minutes to eat pho here.“
“Having had pho in many places in the bay area, this was probably the best so far. Other placed use the wrong noodle, the wrong ingredients, or downright the wrong style of soup for pho. The noodles here were not too expensive, 3 bowls totaling about $60 with tip. Here, you have the choice of noodle options, the flat traditional noodle, or the thin angel hair pho noodle. I ordered the angel hair thin rice noodle as this is what I usually order. The soup broth was done well, with a decent amount of meat and noodles. The spring rolls were large and very satisfying. The service is done with via robot or by human. The robot is very accurate, pulling up to mere inches from the table and turning to allow you to grab your order! Very innovative and fresh new idea to use robots to deliver pho.The restaurant itself is nestled in San Jose, right on King Road. It's in a VERY popular Vietnamese little strip mall, so parking may be tight. Inside, it's fairly loud, with music playing, people talking, and robots delivering food. If I lived near here, this would compete for one of the most regular places I would frequent! Give it a try!“
“This place probably has the best popcorn chicken of all i-Tea locations I've been to. Really good quality meat and a decent serving, with a good balance of spicy flavor, garlic, and basil. I tried the Hokkaido milk tea and it hit the spot when I really wanted something sweet and milky. The pudding was delicious. NOTE: there is no public restroom. I went the last week of Jan. 2024 and asked to use one-- but they've closed it to the public it seems.“
“Danggg this place slaps so hard on the mangonada! Slang translation = go get yourself a spicy and creamy mango heavy refresher! This smoothie drink is so good with the candy straw. Reasonable pricing and the parking is a bit tight but worth it. Got me craving more after even during a rainy week. Gotta try the other dranks next time!“
“This is one the restaurants I love the most. Their flavors are delicious and they put a lot of veggies and quality ingredients in their food. My favorites are chow fun, vegetable fried rice and fish sauce chicken wings. They're definitely doing a great job making flavorful Vietnamese food!“
“To start off the inside decor is beautiful they have a hand painted wall immediately when you enter and a bunch of cool places to sit including couches, high tables, and other assortments of chairs (even outdoor seating). You can order at the counter or choose to order at the Screen stand; the thing with that is it won't show all the customization options such as the foams or non dairy milks so you'll have to order at the counter for that. Personally I always order on that screen.I find that no matter what time I go, how staffed they are or how busy(or not busy) they are there's always a long wait time for our drinks. The staffing has been different each time and I will say that I always feel some attitude or judgment coming from them for some reason. The drinks and waffles however, not one complaint! I've never seen them make any mistakes on my drinks or my friends, every time I order a drink it's never too sweet and I always enjoy it!There is a bathroom all the way in the back which everyone is always welcome to use and plenty of parking out front. This place is worth giving a try at least once.“
“Hidden gem in San Jose!I've been coming here since Hello Tea's grand opening and my favorite drink is the strawberry matcha latte with honey boba, regular sweetness and less ice. You can always adjust the sweetness level and ice level based on your preference. The cashiers are very polite and patient. There are couches to sit on inside and the decorations here are Instagram-worthy.One thing that makes them stand out is their pandan waffles. They're more expensive than most places but that's because their waffles are THICK, and I mean THICK AF. I can definitely taste the pandan and biting into them is so satisfying. They're crispy just the way I like them! You definitely have to try them if you get a chance to order from here.“
“Best peopel best tatse i neve had an ice cream like this it was Mango chamoya I really like that it was so tasty so i order another one after i finish my 1st ice cream i suggest people they shoud try that too. Staf is really good. They really take care of their customers I got my ice cream in just 3 to 5 minutes. Thank you guys for your service.“
“Cute shop with good selection of drinks. One of the guys there (his name was Kevin) gave me good recommendations and was able to help me select my drink. The other guy (his name was Dan) was really friendly and made sure the order was done correctly. Highly recommend. Service is A+!“
“I don't actually remember what we got here, but it was probably good.I dunno, man. All Boba kinda tastes the same to me, haaaaaaa! Aight aight, don't freak out! I'm just sayin', it's all pretty much water, sugar and some sort of flavouring. And Black Ballz.Maybe someday I'll be a Bobba connoisseur, but I doubt it. If I'm gonna have some sorta cheat day, it ain't gonna be wasted on sugary beverages. It's gonna be spent well on Beery Beverages. Spent really well. But that's why cheating is awesome. You spend all those days being a good little lad/lassie and then you get 1 or 2 days to be the little devil that you are! Maybe I'll stop by again when I hit up the Taiwanese Street Snack hub next door, cuz that place is Lit, cuuuuuuz!Service good.“
“Always down to try new boba places and I saw this one on the way home, so I thought I would give it a try. Parking can be difficult since it's in a lot shared with a popular restaurant (Pho Kim Long). They offer coffee boba drinks such as Vietnamese coffee, non-caffeinated boba drinks that look like they're from another planet, and desserts such as taro waffles.I would say that the service here is good and they make sure the tables are clean. They make the boba quickly compared to other places I've been to. I did like the non-caffeinated boba drink I got, which was the star nursery. I would come back here again to try out the other non-caffeinated drinks they offer.“
“Lights were completely off at 7:10ish. However, the Open sign on? Drove by and almost left to the further location on Cottle because of this. I asked if there was power issues, and the response was that they were closing soon (timing was 7:25ish). Just a nudge to the owner of this place, the Cottle rd location and the staff are great. I just want the owner to be made aware of their employees' practices as it will forsure have an impact on the business.***Just following up and clarifying, the lights were not on auto. This was intentionally done, and while I was inside, the lights were still off. I will be revising my review to help your Buisness. :)“
“tiger tea is one of the few tea places i love going to! i don't have a sweet tooth and their drinks aren't too sweet which i really like! the workers are always so attentive and welcoming in the shop and there's always a nice environment. i really like their strawberry green tea and their matcha. i highly recommend this little shop!! :)“
