“The drink is good, but the boba is a bit tougher than I prefer. The main reason it loses a star is that there is absolutely nowhere to sit and enjoy your drink. There is a bar to stand by while waiting for your drink, but there are no chairs or tables. Pretty much you can get your drink and then leave. The surrounding area is also pretty bad to hang out in, it's just a parking lot and then a road that constantly has cars passing by at high speed, though that goes for all the stores in this area. However, the lack of seating makes this much more evident for this place in particular.“

“If you like Asian-style milk teas, boba, etc. this place is pretty good! My family and my brother’s family were at Home Depot across the street and wanted something to drink besides soda. Tpumps was across the street. There were sooo many flavors to choose from and the boba were prepared just right (not too firm or mushy). Good to know as I was visiting the area and past milk tea places I visited were just so-so. I’ll def go there again!“

Their milk teas are also reasonably priced and good quantity around $5 which for some reason it feels like the lower end as of recently... “The Croffles were delicious (we tried chocolate, Oreo, and ube). I got the kumquat green tea which was also delicious. The regular sweetness was perfect (not overly sweet) and had great floral notes. The person working also was really nice. I'll be swinging by again!“

I got the Jasmine mango tea at 25% with boba. The boba was ultra soft. I really like that you could taste the tea but I think 25% was a little low because the Jasmine was pretty strong.. I would go up a % next time.

“Most tasty avocado smoothies! They use legit avocados, which can be rare sometimes. Other places throw all ice in their avocado drink and smoothies so there is nothing to taste.

Macu staff take their time to make your drink and never rush with a messy job. They take care and time with putting your drink together, and you can taste it!! Staff are very sweet and friendly so supporting makes the experience better. I need to try more of their wide variety of boba and beverages.“

Ordered the Mapo Tofu Rice Set, with side dishes, Pan-fried Plant Based Chop Set, Avocado Rolls, I got the Happiness Over Rice - it was sweet and totally devoured it! I also ordered the Avocado smoothie, one of my favorites sometimes other places make it too watery. This one was fluffy and very tasty! For dessert we shared the Chocolate Tiramisú. “IMO Macu Tea is so underrated! I love the avocado smoothie they have here and that additional touch of tea jelly and mango chunks in the drink makes it so unique and tasty!

Another drink that’s good is the king mango, fresh mangos blended with nicely cut up fruits in it.

“Good spot. I come here because the Sharetea in the area always had homeless people loitering around and this was a great spot during the Covid-19 pandemic that took care of business and customer and employee. I just stopped going after the business partnership with Bobatalks since the Bobatalks community was not really nice, friendly, or real. The Bobatalks leader was too ingenuine and it gave me slight trauma thinking about it when drinking from Teaspoon. I think that was a bad business deal partnership but otherwise the generous employees and drinks are all very good.“

“This is the first time that I’ve been to this establishment — the first in a while ever since Tea Lyfe closed (though they were open in another unit). If you’re looking for a boba shop with an aesthetic, alternate option other than Tram Coffee House for Vietnamese coffee and more, look no further than Arisan! 

It was a bit busy when I went to Arisan, considering it was two days after the new year. While there was a lot of people, there was surprisingly a lot of seating available, and lots of space. They also had a wide variety of pastries available as well — which I thought was a pretty good sighting. I got the matcha einspanner latte, which was matcha-based with the milk. It tasted very silky, and not too sweet.

The customer service at Arisan was very straight forward, and was quick when it came with the drinks. Overall, a coffee shop I would go back to if I were to take my friends out (like my friends in the picture! We all got drinks from Arisan!)“

We got thai milk teas, brown sugar, and taro for the free deal, $16.95 for 3 drinks.

“I love Teaspoon. There has been a couple new places with tea popping up around my house and I try them but always end up going back to Teaspoon since nowhere else seems to live up to them. They have a nice selection and they're fast and the people are nice. If you find yourself around the area and craving some boba...this is the place!“

“I had their unique matcha with salted cheese which was quite subtle but quite tasty. Great way to satisfy my matcha cravings on Christmas Eve. I also ordered the chocolate bubble waffle which was quite tasty although it wasn't quite cooked to perfection and did start to split in half from where the molds were pressed together. I was able to use my DoorDash credit for pickup here although everything is priced 50 cents more than ordering in person.“

“Very easy ordering online. I picked up dinner at 7:30pm on a Sunday night, and there were still many families eating. Warm and convivial atmosphere. I've tried and enjoyed the pork vermicelli and the grilled pork plate. My friend had chicken pho. We were both super happy with our orders. Fresh ingredients and the perfect proportion of veggies to come w the dish. I find some other restaurants skimp here, but I really love how the pickled carrots and radish and lettuce balance out the grilled meat.“
