“My new favorite place to go in San Jose! I live an hour northeast of this place and I will gladly drive down with my family to enjoy great food here. I tried this place for the first time on Tuesday with my friend and then came back with my family and friends on Sunday. We loved it and the server was kind enough to let my family taste their ube waffle for free! Love their food and service! Thank you Duy! It was great chatting with you and learning a little bit on how you started the business. Wish you and your wife much more success. Also, wishing you can open a bigger location and possibly multiple locations in the very near future ?“
“We booked a cooking class through Classpop and had such a great time learning to cook! The place had a parking lot so parking wasn’t a problem. We loved that after the cooking class, we were giving enough time to enjoy our food and even had leftovers to bring home. 10/10 recommend! Thanks for making my partner’s birthday so memorable!“

“Ate lunch here today, the calamari and zucchini appetizer was excellent. Followed by seafood pho. The broth was rich and flavorful and the seafood was fresh and plentiful. Really enjoyed the food and the server was outstanding. Definitely a great place for lunch at competitive pricing. We'll be back for sure!“
“When decor is classic white wood and glass panel with red chairs it rings in unique ness.Huge bowlful food which is vegan and tasty adds to family dinner getogather .Take your own cutlery and water .Lick clean the disposable serving bowls .“
“Nice restaurant. The menu has all the typical dishes and more. We just tried a few things on their menu, and everything was good. The wontons in the wor wonton soup was really good. There are lots of veggies in it which I like. We also had the pan-fried pork buns. Crispy bottom. The filling was just ground pork, which was good. We just ordered a couple of vegetable items. Dry string beans and eggplant in garlic sauce. Both were great. The portion size was large, which I appreciate. Lots to take home. I will be going back.“
“YUM. Can I just say... YUM. Okay, here's the rest: I met a friend for dinner here on a weeknight around 5:30 or so & it was perfect. No people. Well, maybe one or two other tables of peoolebut in general, it was early enough to beat crowds (which there later came to be). We were seated right away & ordered using the digital ordering menu system. The place had plenty of seats with a variety of table sizes to accommodate parties of various sizes. Despite ordering digitally, their staff was still very attentive, stopping in to check on our needs often. It was very nice to have someone stay on top of my water needs. I ordered the curry beef udon sizzling plate & it was sizzelicious! Everything was nice & fresh & the meat cooked up quickly so I dove right in. The udon noodles were perfectly textured & I liked the corn which was a fun texture to add to the plate. For those who've never been, this is a place you want to visit in clothes that you don't care getting covered in the smell of oil all over. That sizzle gets all up in your clothes, your hair, your skin if you get your face in there, so don't dress to the nines if you're planning a visit (or do if you love the smell of oil, I guess. You do you.) This place is comparable to Pepper Lunch in Milpitas - love both places. Now I'm hungry.“
“Stopped in this place while I was down in the area. Hiking for the day. Surprisingly, it was a delicious, fast and well-serviced restaurant. Walked in to find updated decor. Multiple staff members willing and to quickly help. The food was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are large.“
“If you are looking to eat authentic Indian vegetarian, homemade style, then this is the place. I tasted their food in an event yesterday, it was mouthwatering. Perfect spice level and perfect quantity. They cooked for about 400+ people. The perfection shown in the packing box as well. This is a "Women owned" small business. The business owner shows her passion for cooking in every single item. Please order online wellbowlls.com. I guarantee, you won't be disappointed!“
“Great little restaurant in Willow Glen. Service was very good and the food is reasonably priced. We had wor wonton soup , Chinese chicken salad and beef chow fun. The food came Out very quickly and was hot and tasty. Really enjoyed the beef chow fun. Definitely will be back to eat here again.“
“I miss Lao food so much and I had been wanting to try this place. It did not disappoint! The sticky rice, sausage and chicken wings with the papaya salad on the side exceeded my expectations. And they have goods to buy and take home including Jeow Bong“
“Very personable and attentive owner; cozy, comfortable environment; an eclectic variety of dishes. Our weekly family favorite for authentic Vietnamese cuisine! Off the beaten path-but don’t miss it!!Dietary restrictions: Owner is clear about ingredients and modified as necessary.Kid-friendliness: Our kids love the beautiful fish tanks and the delicious Pho in kid-friendly plastic monkey bowls!“
“Delicious rice noodle bowl arguably above and beyond many restaurants. Very fresh ingredients cooked to order. Impressed by the tenderness of the shrimp and what in Chinese we call the taste of the wok of both the shrimp and the veggies. The signature fish sauce is also a must.“
“Food was great with a really cool atmosphere to be around. Order the" pork belly with rice and egg". The place is really unique with the way you have to stir/cook food on your own. The meats and veggies being fresh ready to be cooked on the mini stove. Staff was really nice and helpful with any questions we had. Just need to be wary of keeping an eye on your food so it doesn't burn or overcook. Can ruin the entire meal.“
“Very cozy place, gives off comfy vibes. The food is absolutely amazing, service is great, staff are all nice, and overall an amazing place. I highly recommend mango smoothie or the Meow Tea mix, both of them are delicious. The wait time is reasonably long, and the boba is absolutely heavenly. 10/10, definitely would recommend.“
“We ordered this for work, and it was incredibly tasty. The portion size was solid for the price point (especially compared to all the other places we order from), and everything tasted delicious. I ordered the BBQ pork with tomato rice which came with a side salad as well. They did not include a roll (which some places do with their plates), but I don't think a fried spring roll would have held up well for a group / corporate order. I appreciate the thoughtful packaging. They even separate my tomato rice from the meat which allowed me to taste the flavors separately. My coworkers who ordered their vermicelli dishes had the meat on top of the noodles (which makes sense). I wish U-Pick was closer to where I live, I would definitely make this a regular stop. I hope this becomes a regular option for our lunch orders at work. For those of you who can't take the heat (I can only take some), the hot sauce is full of seeds and legitimately spicy. Even my coworkers who eat really spicy (as in high spice Indian / Chinese foods) said the hot sauce here is really spicy. I don't think of this as a negative, but more as U-Pick's badge of spicy honor!“
“We decided to try out this place on a whim and I'm so happy we did!We called in ahead of time and the entire order took less 15min. It was a Tuesday night, an hour before closing, and wasn't busy when we arrived. In fact, we were the only patrons. TAKE OUT ONLY - There are no tables inside the establishment, so don't expect a dine-in date night unless you intend to hang out in their back parking lot and eat in your car. One interesting benefit to this restaurant is that they offer you the choice to pick your vegetables! PORTIONS & PRICING - Portions are super generous! Pricing based on quality + quantity is very reasonable compared to other places across the Bay Area.SERVICE - Based on the interactions over the phone and upon pick-up, service was pretty standard. HOUSE PAD THAI ($14) - This was absolutely *chef's kiss* delicious! It was soooo flavorful, and the noodles were just perfect. Ingredients consisted of chicken (which were abundant in quantity and size), carrots, zucchini, bean sprouts, green onions, eggs, and tofu. For an additional fee you can choose other proteins. They even packed the chopped peanuts in a separate container which I really appreciated. TOM KHA SOUP ($16) - We ordered a large and the 32oz container was filled to the brim. This was also amazing! It was still piping hot when we got home and opened it. I almost burnt my lips because it was so hot. It came mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, zucchini, and onions. The flavors were very well balanced. PAD SEE EW ($14) - He ordered it with chicken and shrimp (+$2). I tried a little bit of it and I thought it was just ok. Nothing to write home about. He felt the same. Their standard ingredients consisted of eggs, onions, and carrots. The menu says it comes with broccoli too, but I don't recall seeing any in there.THAI MILK TEA ($5) - It was pretty good. It was sweet though. Like REALLY sweet, if you like that. I'm not sure if the sweetness level can be customized or if boba is offered for an additional fee as I didn't ask. If you're looking for a nice little hole-in-the-wall restaurant, this might be your spot! I'll definitely be coming back to try their other dishes.Don't forget to check-in for 20% off your order! :)“
“Went out to San Pedro square market for dinner with the family and ordered everything from the one spot. The tikka masala fries were great but their vegetable chow mein and gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian were wildly and unexpectedly amazing. There was a rich flavor and spice in the gobi Manchurian and the vegetable chow mein was packed with fresh veggies and was perfectly flavored. We will be back for sure for these dishes and are ready to further explore the menu.“
“Very surprised they let us make a reservation at 6:15p but the restaurant closes at 6:30p. Turned out the serving staff is great and we get the whole restaurant to ourselves but we didn't feel comfortable to stay for too long since we were keeping the staff from closing up the shop.“
“Don't let the name fool you, Sizzling Lunch is an awesome dining option any time of day. I've been a regular here since I found out about it a few years ago and I won't be stopping any time soon. The food is delivered to the table raw and unmixed on a sizzling hot plate, allowing you to mix everything up and cook it to your desired level before chowing down. The real stars of the show in my opinion are the Garlic Shoyu and Teriyaki sauces that are available on every table. They form a delectable combination, and as soon as my meal arrives at the table I'm pouring a generous portion of each on top of my food so that the flavors can meld together as it cooks. It may be all in my head, but there is something great about digging into a dish of steaming food that was cooked just a few second ago. Forget farm-to-table, it's all about pan-to-mouth for that truly fresh experience.A final word of advice from personal experience, don't wear a white shirt! While they provide a small paper splash guard around the food, there will inevitably be some splatter that escapes the confines of the plate and winds up on everything within a one foot radius so be careful and plan ahead.“
“Haven't had such fluffy buns filled with succulent and flavorful cuts of meat in a while. A friend and I tried their Braised Pork belly Buns, Shoyu Pork Buns, Shaking Beef Buns, crispy tofu buns, Angry bird bowl (off-menu), and mango lassi. Most everything was great, especially the braised pork belly and shoyu pork buns. The tender soy marinated cuts of pork really hit the spot, and I loved the ají verde sauce that came w the shoyu pork bun. The shaking beef reminded me of the sweet and savory korean bbq meats, and the crispy tofu bun had a hickory bbq flavor. I really enjoyed the angry bird bow! It's an off menu item with aromatic fried rice and spicy sautéed chicken. So good! Mango Lassi was a nice smoothie to wash it all downOur host was very kind and informative. The business is run by young chefs and they seem very honest and open to advice! Bun Me Up is located in the Tiki Pete Bar, good music and great place to chill at night.“
“I ordered the #2 Salt Ramen here and it’s absolutely delicious and creamy. The broth is the best! This ramen spot is located in Mitsuwa Market. When you order they will give you a receipt with your order number. Back then, water was provided but now this spot doesn’t provide water to go along with the ramen. The Salt Ramen includes chashu, which I usually like since it’s very soft and tender. However, the chashu this time was a bit over cooked. The ramen noodles has a good texture and the broth was rich in flavors. I would highly recommend this spot!“
“I absolutely love the Asian-inspired cocktails at this place, especially my favorite, the lychee martini. During Christmas, they introduced some festive variations on the drinks, and they were delicious! The music is always lively, mostly playing hip-hop. The venue tends to get quite crowded, probably because it's on the smaller side. The crowd mainly consists of young Asian Americans and ABGs (if you know what I mean).“
“Halal Vietnamese food!!! I can't believe I found it! I loved the spicy beef pho and chicken sandwich the most!! Very nice and friendly staff and fast service. Beautiful from inside and has a lot of Islamic paintings too. Would go again!“
“I recently tried the strawberry mint drink at this establishment, and it was absolutely delicious! The blend of flavors was perfect, and it left me feeling refreshed and satisfied. Additionally, I was delighted to discover that they have another location on the East Coast in Atlanta, GA. This is fantastic news for me, as I often travel to the East Coast for work. Looking forward to enjoying more of their tasty offerings in Atlanta! Highly recommend trying it out!“

“The greatest onigiri (Japanese rice ball) spot of all time! I tried the spicy salmon and mackerel. I prefer the mackerel, but they’re both delicious. Even if I refrigerate a rice ball for 2 days, the rice is still soft enough to eat without reheating. Amazing!“
“The beef pot stickers were satisfactory, but I think pork would have been a better choice. The fried wontons with spicy garlic sauce exceeded my expectations; the sauce, reminiscent of Thai chili sweet sauce, was a delightful fusion of flavors. However, the pork and shrimp boiled dumplings fell short of expectations due to tiny shrimp and inconsistent texture among the dumplings. The pork wontons with chili sauce were flavorful, though not as spicy as expected, yet still worth the price. The wonton in chicken broth was decent but unremarkable. On the other hand, the noodle dish with onion soy sauce was disappointing – too bland despite the chewy noodles.“
“An amazing affordable seven servings of beef. If you've never done it you have to try it. You do have to like eating food with your hands. Since basically you make spring rolls with all the meat. Meat was fresh. Tons of variety. The service was nice and very friendly. It's one of those amazing family run restaurants.“
“I can't believe they added a Bibimbowl at this location. I used to go to the Sunnyvale location a few years ago but it was a drive and they're only open certain days/time so it was difficult to go sometimes when they are open. Finally was able to eat at Bibimbowl during lunch and it was just as good. During lunch, it might be difficult to sit and eat instead of grabbing to go but i highly recommend getting the Hot Stone when dining in. It keeps my food hot and I love burnt/crispy rice!! Hot Stone - I selected white rice, beef, teriyaki. Comes with veggies and a fried egg. Tofu Soup (Soon Tofu) - always a must order when coming here. Favorite two. I know it's pretty much only for lunch but sometimes I crave it around dinner time.“
“Omg I went in there yesterday and my ODD was in full effect!! I have to apologize to the young lady at the counter who had to deal with me. I was definitely confusing and confused my damn self. I came in from an online order and when I arrived I ordered 3 more bowls. I didn't know what size or flavor I wanted so that was already confusing first thing, Then the girl was going be cool and charge me a soda to pay the difference for the size and flavor changes I flew off the handles cuz for some reason that computed in my mind as free soda She saw I grabbed a soda and she proceeded to charge me for two. My maths wasn't mathing and I was convinced I was to only be charged for one I'm sorry for calling you slow girly I'm the slow one Straight special ed! Bye!“
“I stumbled upon this place and wanted to give it a try because it was a cute twist on Vietnamese and Mexican cuisine. Came here on a Saturday around 1pm and it wasn't busy at all, was able to order quickly and find seating. We ordered the - Lemongrass Beef Banh Mi- Banh Mi Burrito- Churro Sampler (oreo, chocolate with nuts, peanut butter, original, fruity pebbles, and rainbery)The banh mi was a decent size however I felt it contained too much bread, normally when I eat a banh mi, the places remove the extra white breading on the inside to allow for more toppings. The meat was a little chewy for my taste but overall still had great flavor. The banh mi burrito is very filling and flavorful! I really enjoyed the churro sampler because we got to try multiple flavors. Although they were hot when we received them, they were slightly dry on the inside instead of the moist freshness I was expecting.“
“We were initially thrilled about the variety of ramen options, but our excitement turned into disappointment when we realized that all ramen choices featured pork broth. Unfortunately, there were no pure vegetarian, vegan, or chicken alternatives. As a result, we opted for bento box selections, specifically the Chicken Karaage Curry and BBQ Chicken. Arriving around 9 pm on a weekday, we found that noodles were already unavailable, so we had to settle for rice only. Despite this, we enjoyed the well-presented and flavorful BBQ Chicken more than the Karaage Chicken, although the curry portion wasn't sufficient for all four chicken pieces. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, but we wished for more diverse options, especially in the ramen selection.“
“Ordered 4 items ready in under 20 minutes and everything was delicious!! I recommend the crispy garlic shrimp, pad thai, crab fried rice and pumpkin curry! Price ranges from $15-$19 per dish. They have a small number of high tables with max total seating of about 16-18 people. I ordered to-go and the dishes were nicely packaged.“
“We came across this place by chance trying to get a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered egg rolls, spring rolls, and Pho. The service was great, and the food came out fast. The appetizers were fresh and hit the spot. The peanut sauce with the spring roles was not your standard very sweet sauce but had a little tanginess to it. The sauce with egg rolls was good too. The Pho is probably the best I had, the broth was tasty, and you did not need to add anything to and everything was fresh. Service was excellent and the place was comfortable.“
