Went a little heavier on the noodles compared to the broccoli than I would have liked, but if the noodles are your favorite then it works out great. Teriyaki- and orange chicken are super tasty— they don’t cheap out to give you the bad cuts such as the tendons, bones, or cartilage. Staff were super friendly and helpful at this location.“

“My wife has celiac disease, and this is one of our go-to spots for delicious Chinese food. Sometimes, I’ll eat her gluten free food from here and can’t tell that it was gluten free. We’ve eaten here so many times, and she never gets a reaction. The servers and staff here are very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend going here if you’re looking for very good Chinese food with solid gluten free choices!“

“A pleasant surprise in Almaden. The rack of lamb was simply sublime. The service seems slight off as I think they only have two servers so expect some waiting time but overall just good cooking. The seabass is my next option if you’re not a lamb fan but seriously have the rack of lamb!“

Dough Zone has officially become my go-to spot whenever I have a craving for Dan Dan noodles. The flavor is consistently spot-on, and you can really tell the difference with their homemade hand-tossed noodles—the texture is perfect every time.
It’s also a massive hit with my family. My son can’t get enough of the Xiao Long Bao and the Pan Fried Buns; they are juicy, crispy in all the right places, and always disappear within minutes. We also tried the blanched kale on our last visit, and it was surprisingly delicious—a great fresh addition to balance out the meal.

Their ordering system can be a bit funky but the staff are friendly and can help clear things up, that was my experience. “Tried something entirely new eating at Urban Momo last week and it was incredible. I had the Gobi Manchurian, my partner had a curry, and we split a mixed fried rice and naan. Everything was flavorful, spiced (not spicy), fresh, and really delicious. Add great service and a cool location in San Mateo Market and this place is worth a trip. I don't live in San Jose, but if I did I would be coming here often. I've thought about our meal a lot over the past week!“

“The sushi here is seriously good - fresh ingredients, creative rolls you won’t find anywhere else. The Fuji Roll? Absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, even if the vibe inside feels a bit cramped and could use a deeper clean. It’s a small spot, so I’d recommend takeout or delivery over dining in. “We have been to Venus Cafe a couple of times Oder the past years and we are always satisfied with the food.

We were initially going to get take out but a few tables were open and employees were really welcoming so we decided to dine in.

Today we got their Big Brother with white sauce only and the Braised Beef Egg Noodle Soup. The soup came first so we shared it and enjoyed that while waiting for the baked item which takes longer to make. The baked item is a bit heavy so we also decided to share it. The Big Brother dish was very creamy and tasty. The chicken was very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

The employees were very attentive, portions were generally good and food was affordable. Overall a great experience and family friendly restaurant.“

“Had great experience at Mosaic Restaurant in downtown San Jose. First thing that stood out was the atmosphere. Ultra-lounge has many comfortable leather sofas that make it easy to relax. Huge bar looks amazing with its great selection of cocktails, wine and spirits.
Food was just as good as the setting. Everything came out beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can tell they really care about the quality of what they serve. Staff was friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome without being overbearing.

All of them are.appetizer size. Between two of us, felt comfortably full. Green beans fry on the saltier side for our taste. Otherwise all the dishes are good.

We tried several dishes. The Tom Yum wings, crispy chicken, and mango sticky rice were all good. Unfortunately, the Pad Thai lacked flavor, and the Pad See Ew was just average. The tamarind fried fish fillet was also too sweet for my taste, especially for a savory dinner dish.

Overall, there were some good dishes, but a few items could use more balance and flavor.“

“Newly discovered Korean fried chicken place .. it was amazinggggg!!!! I had chicken wings for two back to back days from here..

I tried three flavors and all were great. The second day I ended up ordering some drums too which were a hit with my kid.. we got the soy garlic, the Korean BBQ and Yangnyeom. There is a subtle difference between all three of them so I honestly didn’t know which was which while eating them but can honestly say that ALL of them tasted incredible.

The lady who prepped my order was incredibly sweet and really helped me get my order ready. She even helped me get the right sauce as well as clean it up when it got messy. I know I am gonna be ordering from here soon over and over again!“
