Our host , Sam, knew our vegetarian requirements meant no fish sauce, no broth with meat , and he asked if egg was ok or not, since some vegetarians are ok with egg..
They made their dishes accordingly and was very tasty.

“A pleasant surprise in Almaden. The rack of lamb was simply sublime. The service seems slight off as I think they only have two servers so expect some waiting time but overall just good cooking. The seabass is my next option if you’re not a lamb fan but seriously have the rack of lamb!“

“Located downtown, always has friendly service and solid drinks plus food. Located at the Four Points and nearby lots of things to do in San Jose. During the day or night, it is a good place to chat with the bartender and have some solid cocktails and snacks.“

“We have been to Venus Cafe a couple of times Oder the past years and we are always satisfied with the food.

We were initially going to get take out but a few tables were open and employees were really welcoming so we decided to dine in.

Today we got their Big Brother with white sauce only and the Braised Beef Egg Noodle Soup. The soup came first so we shared it and enjoyed that while waiting for the baked item which takes longer to make. The baked item is a bit heavy so we also decided to share it. The Big Brother dish was very creamy and tasty. The chicken was very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

The employees were very attentive, portions were generally good and food was affordable. Overall a great experience and family friendly restaurant.“

“Momo King truly lives up to its name — they serve some of the best momos in town! Once you try them, I can guarantee you’ll keep ordering again and again.

They currently offer delivery, which is super convenient. However, it would be even better if they opened for dine-in as well, because their momos and chowmein deserve to be enjoyed fresh at the restaurant. If you’re a fan of authentic, flavorful food, Momo King is definitely worth trying!“

It’s also a massive hit with my family. My son can’t get enough of the Xiao Long Bao and the Pan Fried Buns; they are juicy, crispy in all the right places, and always disappear within minutes. We also tried the blanched kale on our last visit, and it was surprisingly delicious—a great fresh addition to balance out the meal.

“Newly discovered Korean fried chicken place .. it was amazinggggg!!!! I had chicken wings for two back to back days from here..

I tried three flavors and all were great. The second day I ended up ordering some drums too which were a hit with my kid.. we got the soy garlic, the Korean BBQ and Yangnyeom. There is a subtle difference between all three of them so I honestly didn’t know which was which while eating them but can honestly say that ALL of them tasted incredible.

The lady who prepped my order was incredibly sweet and really helped me get my order ready. She even helped me get the right sauce as well as clean it up when it got messy. I know I am gonna be ordering from here soon over and over again!“

The Mongolian Beef and Sweet and Sour Pork were only $15.95 and $14.95, and they even came with broccoli and hot and sour soup! Unbelievably good value. I will definitely be a regular here. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, even if the vibe inside feels a bit cramped and could use a deeper clean. It’s a small spot, so I’d recommend takeout or delivery over dining in. For the quality of food though, it’s worth it.“

“Thai food with a Vietnamese twist. I always order the grilled shrimp short ribs combo. Comes with garlic. Noodles and salad and rice. Also ordered the yellow curry and coconut rice. Absolutely delish!! BE WARE- your order will take at least 20-30 min to be ready to pick up.. I have been irritated with the time, a couple times they told me 15min and they had me waiting for another 10min after that. So I just don’t even bother to pick up my food any sooner than 25min“

Not a lot of places that make onigiris around here surprisingly but this place is the best I've been to.

Pricing isn't too high but is a bit more then other spots but the quality is worth it. Would get their salmon onigiris for sure.“

“Their Wi-fi was not working so you could not order at the online kiosks and they could not charge you if you had a credit card until later. The people there were not that helpful at fixing it. The food was great I suggest getting the Chicken Katsu.

I love their rice bowls with tofu and the tofu stew which is served with rice, jhapchae ( glass noodles) ,kimchi and pickled cucumbers. Do recommend their hot stone bowls .“
