My friend got the almond butter, jam, and granola sandwich. I could only eat half of my sandwich as and she liked hers. Prices are very affordable. We got there at 11:30 on a Friday, before the lunch crowd.

The portions are neither too big nor too small; I find them just right—whether you're really hungry or want to take some leftovers home for later.

“We had been wanting to try Bharat Social’s veggie burger for a long time, and we finally got to try their Veggie Burger, Jain Burger, and Cold Coco. The burgers were fresh, with perfectly crispy patties and well-balanced flavors that make you want to come back again.

The Cold Coco was refreshingly indulgent and authentic - a great choice for anyone who appreciates quality vegetarian food made with attention to detail.

“I have a bar in Hayward and I have to travel down here periodically to get soda syrup from a specific spot in Santa Clara. Traditionally I go to another sourdough deli, but accidentally put this one in instead on maps. I decided to go with it, figuring I’m down to try a new spot.

I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly man making the sandwiches(Unfortunately, I did not catch his name). He says he’s been working there since 1992. He was friendly and accommodating. I loved his energy, it’s clear he’s still very happy to work there. The woman at the register was equally as pleasant.

Keep in mind it is cash only, but they have an 🏧 if needed.

My sandwich was to die for. I guess this was the original restaurant to the one that I usually go to. So the sourdough bread was the same drool-worthy sourdough.

I sat outside on such a beautiful day, and their lush garden was very pleasant.

“TBH I was hesitant at first to eat at Acopia. As a vegan, most Mexican restaurants do not usually have options for me. Their menu is somewhat minimal and limited, so entered with few expectations or hopes that I could order anything more than a salad. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The owner came to our table and was most accommodating. I ordered a succulent nopales salad, street corn and some delicious blue corn sopes de calabasita (zucchini and flower). It was all quite tasty and I was even more surprised when she brought out some vegan mayo AND vegan cheese to top off my food with more flavor. The atmosphere is very modern and simply styled, mirroring their “chic” food menu. I found the food delicious though a bit on the bland side, but was grateful that they came through for me and my vegan diet. I left sated and happy that I could fully participate in the meal alongside my meat-eating friends. The owner was very thoughtful and really went out of her way to make sure I had plenty of choices to order. Although it was a bit pricey, I will definitely go back again. The modern ambiance, the attentive service and the fancy yet rustic food combined to make a lovely evening meal.“

“Reached House of Bagels around 10 AM on a weekend, and there was already a huge line outside the door—which definitely raised my expectations. Even though the line was long, it moved at a surprisingly good pace, and we were able to place our order in about 20 minutes.

We ordered:

* Two sausage, egg & cheese jalapeño bagel sandwiches
* One with tomato basil cream cheese
* One with jalapeño cream cheese
* A Double Dutch Mocha
* And a chai tea

The service was impressively fast because we got our entire order in less than 5 minutes.

They have a few outdoor tables, but since it was drizzling, we decided to take the food home instead.

The bagels themselves were soft, fresh, and nicely made. I personally wished the jalapeño bagel had a bit more jalapeño flavor compared to similar bagels I’ve had elsewhere, but overall the sandwich was very satisfying. The sausage, egg, and bagel ratio was spot on, making every bite balanced and filling.

The tomato basil cream cheese was absolutely delicious and added great flavor to the sandwich. The jalapeño cream cheese, however, was a bit disappointing and lacked the kick I expected.

Special mention for the Double Dutch Mocha—easily a 100/10. Rich, smooth, and honestly one of the best drinks from the meal. On the other hand, the chai tea was disappointing and tasted more like warm milk with a little cinnamon rather than actual chai.

Overall, it was still a really good experience, and I’d definitely go back to try more items from their menu.“

“Authentic Cambodian Gem. Waited 7 years to eat here as the operating hours never aligned with my work schedule. Had a wonderful lunch at Chez Sovan and couldn’t recommend it more! We enjoyed the fish amok, shrimp with green beans, and rice—everything was delicious, flavorful, and felt like a truly authentic Cambodian experience.

Since it was our first visit, the owner, Niyum (Bryan), generously treated us to a complimentary Tom Yum soup, which was a lovely surprise. Niyum has been serving the community since 1987, and his passion for the food and hospitality really shows.

We happened to be the last customers before closing, but even after locking the doors, he welcomed another group who arrived—such genuine hospitality!

A must-try if you’re looking for authentic Cambodian food and a warm, personal experience. Highly recommended!“
