“The service is outstanding, the broth is.. understated (don't drown the meat in a separate flavor), and the sauces/accessory items are god-tier. I've never even had soft serve ice cream this good. Not a single ice crystal in the ice cream!

Get the Sukiyaki broth. Spicy miso would seem like the most flavorful, but our group agreed Sukiyaki is better. Want spicy? Grab the infinite Thai chilis at the bar and add to the soup.

Also ponzu-garlic-onion is the best sauce. Fight me! Raw egg (pasteurized) is crazy good too if the flavors get too overwhelming.

I didn't even talk about the meats! Yeah wagyu is great, oyster is great, crab is meh, shrimp (sashimi and platter) is whoah, abalone isn't my thing (it's just all natural fish cake?). Bone marrow was surprisingly not my favorite for a first time experience.

“MONDAY FOOD REVIEW...PUESTO...6/17/24! After leaving California's Great America, we stopped for lunch at Puesto, a Mexican/American restaurant, located at 2752 Augustine Dr., in Santa Clara. This restaurant features Mexican dishes with an American flare infusion! I had their their Shrimp a la Plancha, which is Mexican shrimp, garlic butter, red onions, jalapeños, guajillo chile, avocado, and Tamarindo-chile sauce, and it comes with herb lime rice, black beans, and blue corn tortillas. This was absolutely fabulous!!! It wasn't your typical Mexican dish...the different ingredients they used to create this dish all blended together VERY well!!! If you are looking for a little something different to satisfy your Mexican food craving, and want some added flair, then this is THE restaurant to go to!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! The garlic chicken supreme, a plain cheese pizza
The beef pepperoni, and the spaghetti with meatballs, I was so pleasantly surprised with everything! The flavor of the red spaghetti sauce was delicate and light and my child ate 2 helpings and wants me to pack the rest in his thermos for lunch tomorrow! The chicken pizza is divine, fresh delicious ingredients and lovely garlicky flavor. The kids said the other pizzas were great too. “We had been to this place specifically for Misal Pav and Kokam Sharbat as we had seen a lot of great reviews! Unfortunately the Misal Pav didn’t meet our expectations especially as I am fan of Mumbai Misal and Puneri misal, this one was a bit of bland with not that spice and rasa as I wanted 😔

Kokam sharbat however tasted really good, overall if you are looking not for authentic ones you can definitely try here for their dishes as for me I am used to having the proper Maharashtrian style food 😊“

“Excellent Shawarma spot near Santa Clara (downtown) ?. Palestinian owned place offering authentic Shawarma . Randomly stopped at this spot and was surprised by their Chicken Shawarma . The sauces offered with it were also tasty and excellent . Frequented mostly by the students , this place needs more recognition TBH .

“It seems like more people have watched Netflix's Black and White Chef since it aired. I went at 6pm on a Saturday and waited for 40 minutes.
Jjamppong is delicious and the vegetables are cooked well. The sweet and sour pork was thick and evenly cooked. There is also a laundromat nearby, so it looks like a great place to do your laundry on the weekend, grab a quick meal, and then come back. All employees are Korean.“

We were blown away with the quality of the food. We loved the macaroni and cheese (so cheesy), the mushrooms, mash potatoes, Brussel sprouts and that Tomahawk steak was to die for.
Loved the fun environment and great service. Even the help staff was great with fresh bread (amazing seasonal pumpkin butter, yes PUMPKIN butter), water refills and ensuring our table was cleared promptly!

“Been to rice junkie multiple times for lunch as well as for dinner. The service is always quick and fast however I do not like the new digital menu that they have especially if you’re on the tables close to the wall.
Their selection of sauces is always very interesting and I’m yet to try them all.
The ambience is somewhere in between a fancy restaurant and a fast casual.
Definitely get their corn and cheese combination either with the chicken or with the pork. Lunch for two with a drink and appetizer was $30 per person.

“Highly recommend this Thai spot. The woman Siri, is so sweet and will make you feel right at home! The food, compared to other local thai places give it a run for the money. The pineapple fried rice, Tom kha and the pad see ew are all on point. The restaurant is a bit smaller than other restaurants, so please call ahead of time if you decide to bring a big party so they can try to accommodate. I believe all their dishes have a happy blend of spice and flavor, depending on what you order. If you order something and it may be too spicy, you can ask for the spice instead on the side and add to your liking.“
