“MONDAY FOOD REVIEW...PUESTO...6/17/24! After leaving California's Great America, we stopped for lunch at Puesto, a Mexican/American restaurant, located at 2752 Augustine Dr., in Santa Clara. This restaurant features Mexican dishes with an American flare infusion! I had their their Shrimp a la Plancha, which is Mexican shrimp, garlic butter, red onions, jalapeños, guajillo chile, avocado, and Tamarindo-chile sauce, and it comes with herb lime rice, black beans, and blue corn tortillas. This was absolutely fabulous!!! It wasn't your typical Mexican dish...the different ingredients they used to create this dish all blended together VERY well!!! If you are looking for a little something different to satisfy your Mexican food craving, and want some added flair, then this is THE restaurant to go to!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! My rating: 10++++”
“This place just opened. It's not clear what cuisine this is from the photos and description, and for some reason it's classified as Diner but it's doing brunch.
Anyway this is a Korean fusion cuisine restaurant and it's trying to mimic the success of the japanese fusion Soho in Milpitas. Its interior is modeled for fine dining and it has a comprehensive drinks menu. Food though is quite good, the bulgogi cream pasta has the right amount of cream and taste, it's not too heavy, and the bulgogi used high quality beef/steak pieces and not your run of the mill regular beef. The fried chicken is almost perfect, crispy outside, the crunch is just right, not too hard and not soggy. The uni rice pot is good but the cream doesn't have enough uni taste unfortunately. The service is excellent as well.”
“I recommend them for their hospitality, great food and service. Quick to serve!”
“Very much comfort food! I ordered the yellow braised chicken (bone-in) for lunch. It came with a bowl of rice. The chicken is very tender, and the bones were mostly easy to remove. I would love to try the spicy version next time since the fruit peppers weren’t spicy at all. I also loved the mushroom in the pot. Would love to come here again!”
Restaurants by Cuisine
“Creatively ambitious and high level cuisine, using Korean flavors and spices to add interest and individuality to California ingredients. Example: wagyu tartare with uni aioli, among other things, that was rich and fresh and unexpected, all at the same time. Clever attention to textures and variety of textures within each course. A reasonably priced tasting menu or, at four courses, you could call it a prix fixe. Limited but good wine selection, seemingly carefully curated. Very cool ambiance inside and friendly, graceful service.”
“We booked this for an important family dinner that I really needed to get right, and the venue absolutely came through for me. From the moment we walked in, the staff made the whole evening feel a bit special without ever overdoing it. They'd given us a beautifully set table tucked away enough to feel a bit private, our server was warm and engaged throughout, and the food was honestly some of the best we've had in months. Every course came out perfectly cooked, generously portioned, and beautifully presented. We worked through a starter each, mains, and a shared dessert at the end, with the staff quietly bringing out a little candle for the birthday in the middle of our group without us having to ask. That gesture absolutely made the evening for the person it was for. The pacing of the meal was textbook — never rushed, never forgotten — and we had plenty of time between courses to actually talk to each other. The bill at the end was very fair for the quality of the whole experience. The family has already agreed it's our new go-to for any kind of special occasion. Lovely place.”
“Pretty solid. Quick service. Really attentive. We went when it was a bit slower so it was a little awkward with them hovering by, but I get it. Lots of options the ayce is kind of pricey but if you're coming hungry I think it's worth it. Really appreciate the condiments already being at the table for sauces. Would definitely come back, but maybe for happy hour, for the price discount.”

“Had a great experience at Mikiya! The food was delicious, especially the Wagyu and shabu-shabu. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere was really nice.
Special thanks to Thura, our server! He was super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great service overall, and I’d definitely come back again!”

“Iraklis Restaurant is a true culinary gem! The menu features a delightful selection of authentic Greek dishes, with each plate bursting with rich flavors and freshness. The moussaka is a standout—rich, hearty, and beautifully presented, while the tzatziki is the perfect complement to any meal. The welcoming ambiance and friendly staff make you feel right at home. Whether you're enjoying a casual dinner or a special celebration, Iraklis delivers an exceptional dining experience every time. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Greek cuisine!”

“Puranpoli is an incredible gem that brings authentic Indian flavors to life! The puran poli is simply outstanding—soft, deliciously sweet, and perfectly spiced. The warm, inviting atmosphere makes it a great setting for enjoying traditional dishes. The menu offers a wonderful array of options, ensuring there's something for everyone. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, adding to the overall experience. Every visit feels like a special occasion, and I can't recommend this place highly enough for those looking to indulge in genuine Indian cuisine!”
“Luis went above and beyond during my recent visit. From the moment I walked up to his register, he greeted me with a genuine, welcoming smile and made the whole checkout process effortless. His positive energy and upbeat attitude are truly infectious—he is just great to be around.
On top of the outstanding hospitality, the food was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. It is rare to experience such great food paired with attentive, friendly customer service these days. Luis turned a routine visit into a bright spot in my day, and his dedication to making customers feel valued does not go unnoticed. Thank you, Luis, for the amazing experience!”
“The food here is unique and pretty amazing. They make their own noodles and portion sizes are generous. I ate here with my family and we got the abalone big chicken plate, along with the big beef plate. Both come with hand pulled noodles. We also tried the cold black fungus mushroom entree. Everything was delicious, but a big plate meal is sized for two people. We didn't know this going in, so we had plenty left over. Service was also really good. If you're in the mood for halal asian cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“I have been looking for good Indian food since i came to the Bay Area and must say the food here at Shahi Darbar was really delicious also Amit helped and suggest good recommendations.”
“The service attitude here is great. I like the drinks very much. It feels very magical, like a magic potion🥰”
“Not my first time here. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Bay Area, simply because food tastes so good and consistent in quality.
This time we had:
Shang hai crab roe noodles
Crab roe fried rice
Mongolian Wagyu beef
Crab roe & pork soup dumplings
The food was amazing, as always. Everything tasted fresh and absolutely delicious! My favorite dish is Shanghai crab roe noodles, rich, creamy, and always packed with flavor. I also fell in love with the crab roe fried rice, even though it was my first time trying it. The Mongolian Wagyu beef was tender and perfectly seasoned. The crab roe & pork soup dumplings arrived hot, comforting, and full of flavor as well.
The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food, and the service is always a 10/10. Our dishes started arriving less than 5 minutes after we placed our order, which was impressive.
This continues to be my forever favorite restaurant at Westfield Valley Fair, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.”
Outdoor Dining
“Amazing Peruvian food. The food here is outstanding — bold, flavorful, and clearly made with care. However, the wrinkled, unironed tablecloths were hard to ignore. It’s a small detail, but it undermines the professionalism of what is otherwise a great dining experience. Sort out the presentation and this place would be close to perfect.”

“I love the fast and easy ordering system here! The ice cream tacos are made fresh and flash-frozen, so every bite is perfectly cold and delicious. The best part is being able to customize everything—from your ice cream flavor to the chocolate dip and toppings. Such a fun dessert spot. Street parking only”
“Obviously a local favorite, you can always tell how good an in and out burger location is by their signature long but fast moving lines both inside and at the drive-thru. This location had both. Typically I would give in and out five Stars based on their burgers alone. however I experienced a minor food quality issue with the overly salted fries. Was able to cover it up a bit with a bit of raw onion from my burger and an extra packet of spread”
“The chicken salads here are huge, with a surprisingly generous portion of meat. I've eaten a lot of chicken salads at other counter service places in the area, and The Stand puts them all to shame. The dressing seemed like it was made fresh, not from a bottle. Will come back to try something else.”
“Absolutely the BEST food and service at Eurogrill! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed like family. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes sure everything is perfect. The food is outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and made with real Balkan tradition. The Ćevapi (house specialty) are simply the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled to perfection. You can truly taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. If you’re looking for amazing Balkan food and top-notch service, Eurogrill is the place to go. Highly recommend! I will definitely be coming back again and again. 👏🔥 Ketering was perfectly arranged!”
“Thoughtful gluten free options which are so hard to find. Clean, well run. Insane dessert crepe w Nutella and a ton of fresh fruit. Never would have known it wasn’t gluten-full. Berry smoothie w oat milk too, ‘cause we’re gluttonous. Highly recommend!”

“Very good!! I had spaghetti and the wife got a bbq chicken pizza and both were amazing!! If your missing mom’s spaghetti come here and get some comfort food. Bbq pizza was bomb very good crust!”
“Fantastic restaurant. Outstanding service. Great ambiance. The staff are beautifully presented. The food itself is really good, but needs a little more balance between the protein and the vegetables and the textures and a little more creativity for me to give 5 stars.”
“This is a reallly wholesome, family-run Indian vegetarian restaurant. For $18, they have a very tasty all you can eat buffet. They bring to your table some fresh made chapati too. There is a delicious lemon pudding for dessert and also always fresh fruit. If you want some good home cooking, this is the place.”
“Excellent Mongolian BBQ place where we can adjust the sauces and make it as hot as we want. Sauces came with instructions so I didn't need to guess. Good food and vegetable selections and the ice-cream that came with the package is good! Highly recommend this place!!! Clean, family friendly environment. The owners and staff are all very nice.”

“I don't normally make reviews about shopping centers, but this one is very nice and aesthetic one to go to. To be honest, I've never been in a shopping center that looks as ambient compared to average ones I go to.
Yes it's not really a big place, but it's built nice and clean at the same time. Probably most people who work around here come here for lunch. It would have been better if there are bigger building while using the same materials as well as a bigger shopping center, but this is fine.”
“So, its after midnight and the young lady who took my order was friendly and professional. Whoever is running the back of the house right now just made the perfect, most tasty, hot and fresh Chicken tater melt that has ever gone into my face. I dont think I did a very good job chewing it because for some reason when something tastes amazing, my adhd brain wants that shtuff in my belly when I should be savoring every bite for aa long as its practical. Anyway, it seems to be that late night is when fast food restaurants slow down enough to take pride in what they create for the rest of us to enjoy. I run into this type of suprise quite often on my late night hypes. Anyway, gotta give props and credit where its due. Whoever made my sandwich is due for a decent raise. Ill be back soon. If you dont see an update, this experience is consistent.
Thanks Jack. X jkjkjkj”
“Staff are polite, the rooms are nice, good song selection and if we can’t find a song we can use YouTube, which is great! The only thing is that there are not many vegetarian options.”
“My new favorite go to lunch spot! The food is delicious. Last three times I’ve been there this month Shyla has been my server, she is such a ray of sunshine! I’m spoiled now her section is the only place I’ll sit 😀.”

“My girlfriend and I have always looked at this place and took a chance and stopped by. It was really good. I had the wrap. Bathrooms are clean. They even have toothbrushes in the bathrooms so you can brush your teeth after your meal. They even have DJ lights. Super friendly personnel. Next time I got to try the beers.”
“Salt & Straw never fails to amaze! They have some of the most unique and weird flavor combinations you’ll ever see, but somehow every single one tastes absolutely incredible.
The Pear & Blue Cheese is spectacular, and the Chocolate Gooey Brownie is pure perfection. If you're on the fence about trying their wilder flavors, just go for it—they nail the balance every time. Easily one of the best ice cream spots around!”
“Love, Love, Love this place! Lee's is authentic Chinese food. They've been in business for over 30 years and there's a reason for it. Delicious food, wonderful people that treat you like family. I love the walnut shrimp, pork chow mein, Mongolian beef, black mushroom chicken, and won ton soup. Hole in the wall, delicious food!! You've got to try it!”
“We had such a wonderful experience at Nick the Greek! Special mention to Miguel and Steven who took care of us during dinner provided phenomenal customer service. They were both friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel valued from the moment we walked in. It’s rare to come across service that leaves such a lasting impression. Thank you both for your hospitality, you made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

“I travel all over the US. Stopped here for breakfast cause it was near by. I love local small breakfast restaurants. This place is perfect. Service was great, the people are friendly, and my food was quick and hot.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“update July 2026 : they have maintained the same quality of food over the years which is no easy feat. We love getting food picked up from their new retail location. But the website ordering can be simplified. The timings when they are open is also a bit confusing and it seems like it changes often. I was planning on picking up meals there in the evenings and I try to pick up a bit early before the evening 5 pm snacks rush begins. But it looks like the timings are changed again. The website says Not accepting Orders but the UberEats app shows it's available.
They have the delicious food and quality part down but the long wait times for food pickup/ eating-in, the changes in timings and all of that needs to be ironed out.
Older review: Delicious, hygienic food packed in compostable containers. I have tried their order-ahead and pick up option and the food quality has been consistently delicious. The food is not overly indulgent, making for a guilt-free eating out experience. Since the menu is small and made-to-order, it is all freshly made. You cannot have this in a restaurant set-up where most of the food is partially pre-made. Hope they continue making good quality food and serve retail customers.”
“Finally made the 90-minute trek to Dave’s Hot Chicken with the fam! 🍗 The vibe was great—super friendly staff and a very clean spot despite the crowd. The chicken was fresh, hot, and delicious. Only downside was no cheese sticks today, but that just gives us an excuse to come back soon!”

“There’s absolutely nothing to complain about when it comes to the dining experience here. Every single dish served is exceptional and bursting with flavor. The chutneys are particularly incredible, with the ginger chutney standing out as a must-try. Whether you decide to try any dosa on the menu, I am absolutely certain that it will be a delightful experience. Overall, it is truly an amazing experience that leaves you wanting to return.”
“This is definitely a dive bar, but with a friendly vibe. We usually go to see a friend's band play, so I can't speak to other nights.
The bartender also seems to be the owner (and only staff), but she's friendly and the prices for beer on tap are reasonable.
Despite having no bouncer, I've never seen any problems.
I think they serve a limited food menu, but I've never had any, so I can't speak to that.
We have fun when we go, and that's the most important thing.”
“I love the omelet rice and siu-mai :) The space inside isn't huge but I think that adds to the homey vibes 🤗 I think all portions are generous - enough to take home leftovers. She even takes it to the back and puts them in boxes for you which I appreciate. I always leave very full and happy haha, and it's nice to see the owners' kind faces every time I come back!”
“Tasty, line always long. I usually came 1 time per week, but today the squid have iron dish brusher in it, will still go but the restaurant should take it seriously.”
“First time there and the food was absolutely amazing - can not recommend the brisket”
“Great food! My moms first time and couldn’t stop raving about the chicken adobo and the halo halo. It’s pricey but good. And the staff is very nice.”
“Mio Vicino is a Santa Clara institution. Consistently great food. Friendly atmosphere. It’s a Perry family go to place for sure! 😎👍🏼”
“first time in and I will be back! Delicious burger
Well priced food and drinks! Excited to have this place locally now, will be back for football games and dinners/beer with friends!
All the food around me looked great too!”
“One of the best RAMEN 🍜 I have ever taste and highly recommended.”
“Our first time here and everything was delicious! We had the garlic edamame, salmon express and the spicy tails rolls and the salmon with lemon dill nigiri. So good!”
“TabarakAllah the food here was just like HOME!! It was so delicious I can’t wait to go back again. You know it’s authentic when you see all the Auntie’s working hard to cook the food for everyone. You get a lot of food for a great price!! Definitely a great place to eat!”
“This restaurant was absolutely delicious! I ordered the fig and goat cheese burger, and it was out of this world. I wasn't expecting it to be that amazing, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The combination of flavors was incredible, and I'd definitely order it again. Highly recommend giving it a try!”
“This is one of my fave places in this Korean plaza!
I always find service to be so friendly and kind. They are a small team but do their best to chat with you and make recommendations.
We typically get a 1-meat combo which is more than enough for our 2-3 person family. The portions are huge and the banchan is refilled so unless you're craving tons of different meats, no need to order a ton more.
I also love their tofu soup, it's not too oily and also keeps well if you have leftovers.
The interior is clean and well kept so you'll be comfy with a group anywhere from 2-6 people. Larger groups might be harder to accomodate but I've never had to reserve for under 6.”
“Above average sushi in a strip mall. They are known for their rolls, which are decent. Solid nigiri although limited. Good for a quick lunch. Checks all the boxes.”
“The tamalesis must have and must try! The best corn tamales I ever had in my entire life❤️”
“Very authentic flavors, reminded me of the times I ate at the ryoutei style restaurants in Japan! サーモンハラスの塩焼き - Grilled salmon belly 生うどん - Fresh udon noodle soup ユズ香る茶碗蒸し - Egg custard with yuzu with crab sauce on top イイダコの唐揚げ - Deep fried mini octopus”
“Quality of Veg appetizers has gone down. Please don't treat potato wedges as a veg appetizer. A lot of the veg options were south Indian food like 2/4 veg appetizers. The dessert quantity is good but most of them are either too sweet or do not taste good as per the price of the buffet.”
“Some of the best Korean Chinese food I’ve ever had! Every dish was delicious and a huge portion.
Parking can be a bit inconvenient. There’s a small lot in the back, some street spots, and a small lot in front of the stores next door- but be cautious of a few unhoused people scattered around.”
“I can always trust the side dishes (banchan) here. The seasoning is always spot on—they taste exactly as I expect, or even better! These side dishes have been a total lifesaver for my daily meals. Thank you so much for the delicious food!”
“Absolutely fantastic food and excellent service. We celebrated our Birthdays tonight, and the staff is amazing. Love their salmon sashimi and megura. Kyiv roll and honey walnut rolls were also delicious!”
“The aunties here are so sweet and are so very attentive/kind! Food-wise, they make a lot of their banchan from scratch and you can tell the food here has so much heart put into it. Maybe it's a good thing after all that we had an issue with our reservation tonight at that... other restaurant that starts with B and rhymes with pong... Found our new fave mom-and-pop kbbq spot! We will most certainly be back.”
“Quality, fresh variety of raw sashimi. The Omasake Sashimi, Kaisen Don, and Golden Hand Roll options are showstoppers!”
“Food was unexpectedly good. Its kinda hidden if you're not looking for the restaurant. Food came quickly. Peking spare ribs was everyone's favorite at our table.”
“The staff was very welcoming to our large group & even took photos of our group for us. The food was amazing with lots of choices for everyone.”
“this place is the bomb. food is just so full of flavor, all of it. totally recommend.”
“Rude and abusive owner, poor quality food, bad location, disgusting on the inside, slow service. There is better sushi at gas stations these days.”
“Fantastic menu. I enjoyed eating and my 2 daughters as well. Great place to celebrate life milestones.”
“*USP: Korean and Chinese food. Black bean noodles and an expansive menu covering all the usual Chinese food favorites.
*AMBIANCE: large restaurant, eclectic and funky ambiance. Felt like it was some place in Hong Kong or China.
*Food: good if not great for the most part. The chef seems to be very careful or forgetful with the usage of salt though.
*corn soup: 2.5/5: sweet and bland. There was not salt at all. No amount of chilli powder, salt or soy sauce helped redeem this dish.
*chicken chow mein- 4/5- favorite dish on the table for all of us. Chicken was soft and didn’t have a funky smell or taste. Noodles felt fresh. Dish was greasy though.
*fried rice-3.5/5- came with mushrooms, eggs and some other veggies. Very nondescript and safe, felt more like a side dish rather than main.
*deep fried chicken in hot pepper sauce:3.5/5- I was expecting some fire in this dish but this was unfortunately on the sweeter side as well. The chicken had a very crispy coating per description.
*black bean noodles-3.5/5 after loving the version in Paiks noodle, it was difficult for me to like the version here. It was decent though, noodles seemed fresh and had a good bounce. But the sauce felt too soy saucy to me.”
“This is one of the best "chain" restaurants around. The menu is varied, the food is excellent, and the service is terrific. While eating fish doesn't always feel safe, I'm always comfortable at a Pacific Catch. Everything is fresh and super clean.”
“They have several gluten free options. Food and service were excellent!”
“Came here with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. The grilled fish was definitely the highlight—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. We also ordered a bunch of skewers, including beef, chicken skin, and sausages, and everything came out hot, well-seasoned, and perfect with a little extra spice. The portions were generous, and the food had that authentic late-night Chinese BBQ vibe. Service was quick, and the atmosphere was casual and lively. If you’re craving grilled skewers and spicy grilled fish, this place is definitely worth checking out.”
“Kabila Sweets & Indian Restaurant is a true gem! The rich array of authentic Indian dishes is simply amazing, with flavors that transport you straight to India. From their exquisite biryanis to mouthwatering curries, every bite is a delight. Plus, their selection of sweets is a perfect way to end the meal—each dessert is a treat! The warm atmosphere and attentive service make dining here an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend for any Indian food lover.”
“I hosted a Bosnian watch party here, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Brianna was absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish. She was responsive, organized, accommodating, and made the entire process seamless.
The service on the day of the event was outstanding, everything ran smoothly, and our guests had a fantastic time.
Thank you, Brianna, and the entire team, for helping make our watch party such a success. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a group event!”
“Crispy seafood pancake not too greasy, great for sharing. The kimchi tofu soup lacked kimchi so I wouldn't get it again, but the dumpling soup looked better. A good place for a quick tofu soup in a rainy day. Nothing fancy. Just basic meal when you want good tofu soup.”
“Walked by here couple days ago and saw they had some arcade game on the side and check it out today. Came back on today which every Tuesday they have Trivia game event at 19:00(7:00PM) No reservations required. You might have a chance to won a free around of beer during the game, which you allow to be solo or with groups of friends which is kinda fun things to do (Although I don't drink alcohol but still fun to try blending in the environment). This place do service food and all their local brews beers plus non alcoholic drinks ( Support the local community). Beside this everyone's nice and friendly along with the staff as well. Definitely a good place to hangout and socialise together 🔥💯🍻”
“Pretty average hotel. Giving it 4 stars given it included breakfast and happy hour. The bartenders and omlette maker were excellent and friendly. Other breakfast staff seemed less than thrilled to be there but overall went about their tasks and kept out of guests way. The rooms could definitely use some updating and the layout was quite awkward being right next to the stairwell. The room felt cramped and the bathroom small to maneuver in. Not sure if all rooms were that way but I'd suggest a different room. The hotel was reasonably close to some restaurants and easy enough to get around the area. Overall not a bad stay.”
“Their Golden Monkey is an absolutely stunning black tea - truly head and shoulders above the others I've tried.
I look forward to trying the coffee”
“Great post concert eat out place. Lots of street food items available. Glad the restaurant stays open late past midnight. Fried chicken, pork belly, gimmari and chicken gizzards were delicious. Soft rolled omelette were excellent.”
“It's an amazing and conducive place.. i like all the foods very delicious and affordable price.. so, to all people out there try it!!”
“Fast on point , no thrill but sharp service
The soup was high quality and so was the meat. Not cheap but good.
Not for vegan and vegetarian.
Clean dining area and restroom.”
“For pasta, the sauce offers an intriguing fusion of Japanese and Italian flavors, while the pasta is cooked perfectly delivering a wonderfully chewy texture. The uni pasta is wonderfully creamy and rich, and it's best shared to keep every bite as enjoyable as the first.
For dessert, I was excited to try matcha tiramisu , but unfortunately it wasn't quite for me. The combination of mascarpone and heavy cream felt a bit too rich for my taste, and the matcha flavor was more subtle than I was expecting. But the layer of custard is a nice touch, reinforcing its Japanese fusion identity.”
“Food was good, and the workers were so sweet! It does get pretty lively, but if that atmosphere doesn’t bother you then I think this is a great place to stop for a late night food run.”
“We always get the peanut pad thai all the meat is good, especially the pork and the yellow curry is amazing! I stop in every week at least once or twice for a Thai tea. 🤩 This lovely place is the exception. Definitely recommend, orders are ready very quickly and the ladies that are there are very friendly.”
“Sandi's Cobbler Cup are awesome but she offers so much more. The gumbo and jambalaya is always fresh and taste great. Sandi is very professional and offers catering that's second to none.”
“I was so hungry after work so I’m thinking like good food, my spirit brought me to your restaurant. I ordered to go , Crispy Pata, Siningang pork, Panvit Bihon and Shanghai pork. Thank you, all the food are so good indeed. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻”
“If you go earlier around noon it’s still hot cannot cut into pieces. Sometimes it’s popular call and check if available before you go. But Pork feet taste really good though. Pay cash will be cheaper. $40”
“Went to the Buffet lunch today. The food was delicious and the choices - plenty. Good options for both . Excellent service.”
“Staff were very friendly! Patrick made the best margarita I ever had. The space indoors and outdoors were great. It was beautiful. Even other customers were nice.”
“Thumbs up:
- Easy, free parking
- Classy, quiet, and comfortable atmosphere
- Attentive and friendly service
- Steak was cooked as requested and with a nice chimichurri sauce
Meh:
- The accompanied shoestring potatoes were literally potato chips in shoestring format; really didn't pair well with the steak. Some veggies or polenta would have been much better.
- The key lime cheesecake was fine but not particularly tangy or memorable.
- Ow the lunch pricing. $60 after tax and tip for the steak entree + dessert (no drink), but this *is* in a hotel, so I wasn't terribly surprised.”
“A tiny little korean bbq place! the soap was really good. im not too big a fan of their fresh kimchi! She also cooked for us!
they also have world cup on so we could watch it while enjoying the meal”
“This is a family run restaurant that is reminiscent of tent style eateries in Korea. We loved the banchans. The meat was top notch with top sirloin, ribeye, and the Kurobota pork belly was ace! Squid potato pancake was also yum! I will say the minimum of two meat servings will be enough to serve two adults and two kids. We ordered a third just in case and came back home with some that will turn into a delicious fried rice. The three servers were very warm and hospitable. We have a serious peanut allergy in the family and the server took it very seriously looking at all the ingredients and reporting back to us what may be contaminated vs not. This gave us a peace of mind and we are really well because of it! They work exceptionally hard and looking at the negative comments it seems those to be just an off day as it’s hard for me to believe it being other than fantastic. We came back to this restaurant after 16 years (it was a place my now husband and I loved before we got married and had kids). It felt upgraded but just the same! It was a great place to visit after our trip to Korea. I wish we took pictures, but we were too busy eating everything up!!”
“I had the shredded beef flautas w beans and rice and it was delicious 😋”
“Great staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and quiet with nice balconies”
“Its a sports bar with wings! We were there Saturday night and a UFC fight was on the screens. Able to have conversation and enjoy our wings. Smoke eaters makes great wings. We had quite a variety between the 5 of us. There was a plate of lemon pepper tenders, Atomic wings, Buffalo wings, a chicken tenders wrap, a plate of lemon pepper wings and parmesan wings and a couple of baskets of fries. As advertised good wings and great food. plenty of screens so you can sit on any side of a table and see the fight. Bet its great here on a college or NFL football day.”
“We had a wonderful experience dining here! The service was incredibly fast, and there were plenty of menu options to choose from for both adults and kids.
Our group of 3 adults and 5 kids ordered the JSJ BBQ Combo A, along with an additional BBQ meat selection that unfortunately I can't remember the name of—but it ended up being everyone's favorite! The meats were flavorful, tender, and cooked perfectly.
The Dolsot Bibimbap was delicious and very generously portioned. The Seafood Pancake was a huge hit with the kids—we actually wished we had ordered a second one because it disappeared so quickly!
Overall, this is a great spot for authentic Korean food, generous portions, and efficient service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back the next time we're in town.”

“We visited this place on a busy Tuesday night, and it was packed. Please factor in a waiting time when you arrive, as they’re understaffed and orders can take a while. To avoid waiting, I recommend ordering everything at once. The order of service is also random, so we received our jasmine tea after our main course.
Now, let’s talk about the food. The Tom kha soup, pratha with panang curry, pad see ew, pad kee mao and pineapple and basil rice were all fantastic and bursting with flavour. The egg rolls, however, were disappointing. The mango sticky rice was also a good choice.
One thing to keep in mind is that bills often have extra charges. If you notice them, let the staff know, and they’ll remove them since it’s their fault. If you miss it, you’ll end up paying the extra charge.
Overall, the service could definitely be improved, but the restaurant’s ambiance is great.”

“I’ve visited The Halal Cartel many times, and it’s honestly one of my favorite spots for a quick and filling meal. Every time I visit, the place is busy, which says a lot about how popular it is.
I tried the Cartel Chicken Rice Bowl, and it was really good and very filling. The rice itself is very flavorful and perfectly seasoned. I’ve tried rice bowls at several other Middle Eastern places, but the rice here really stands out to me. Combined with the white garlic sauce, spicy sauce, Cartel Special Sauce, and your choice of toppings, it makes a really satisfying meal. You can also customize the bowl and choose all the toppings you want.
The wraps are also really good. They normally come with three toppings, but you can request all the toppings if you want. Rice bowls are usually prepared extremely fast—sometimes in just about 2 minutes. Wraps usually take around 5–10 minutes, and sometimes a little longer when it’s busy.
The Mango Jalapeño Lemonade is a must-try. It’s super refreshing with a great sweet and spicy combination. The Strawberry Lemonade and Blue Raspberry Lemonade are also good.
The falafel is really good, and the masala fries are another favorite of mine.
The place also has both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor area has a playing area with table tennis, snooker, and some other games, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends while enjoying your food.
The management and staff are friendly and welcoming. Even though the place is almost always busy whenever I visit, the service is still pretty good.
Overall, I definitely recommend The Halal Cartel if you’re looking for flavorful halal food, especially if you enjoy rice bowls and wraps. I’ve visited many times, and the food has been consistently good. The flavorful rice is definitely one of the highlights for me.”
“Really happy that this place has opened in our neighborhood- walking distance for us! Amazing burgers and sandwiches, plus great fries. We especially enjoyed the beer selection. I mentioned that they should get Humble Sea Socks and Sandals on tap, and the manager gifted me a can from the fridge to thank us for coming in. Super nice of him- I didn’t expect that at all. Plus, the next visit they had S&S on tap.
I especially recommend the grilled chicken club- juicy and perfectly cooked, and delicious with the sauce and fresh lettuce and tomato.”
“This was our first visit to Cairo Grill and we were very impressed by the quality of the food and variety! You’ll get the most authentic taste of Mediterranean foods there. And the rice pudding is a 10/10! You must try this for dessert! The grocery store is also truly unique and has a variety of products that you will not find anywhere else”
“Like it says on the tin, a little slice of the divine for nerds who like games.
With regular events highlighting the range of gaming; video games from east to west & tabletop of every sort. Starting from the menu items and radiating out from there, it's hard to not find something a geeky heart enjoys.
Owned & staffed by individuals dedicated to the shop as well as the culture, it's easy to feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
They even attend cons, so be sure to check them out there for exclusives you might not get back to the shop!”
“Very tasty food the paratha is like homemade and for the price totally worth it.
We got chicken tikka kulcha and chaat very tasty too.
The show stopper jalebi was too good hot and crisp not too sweet.
Overall worth eating 😋
The truck is placed to the right corner of the place.”
“I ordered a mango-orange-papaya smoothie. (you can mix and match from about 8-10 fruit options). For <$10 I got a large glass of some really excellent smoothie with exactly those ingredients + some ice. It was tasty, it wasn't too sweet, and it was a generous quantity. The only minor complaint was that the straw they gave was too short for the glass! (should've got a picture before consuming the whole thing but I forgot, picture attached just shows the serving size). Would definitely visit again.”
