“MONDAY FOOD REVIEW...PUESTO...6/17/24! After leaving California's Great America, we stopped for lunch at Puesto, a Mexican/American restaurant, located at 2752 Augustine Dr., in Santa Clara. This restaurant features Mexican dishes with an American flare infusion! I had their their Shrimp a la Plancha, which is Mexican shrimp, garlic butter, red onions, jalapeños, guajillo chile, avocado, and Tamarindo-chile sauce, and it comes with herb lime rice, black beans, and blue corn tortillas. This was absolutely fabulous!!! It wasn't your typical Mexican dish...the different ingredients they used to create this dish all blended together VERY well!!! If you are looking for a little something different to satisfy your Mexican food craving, and want some added flair, then this is THE restaurant to go to!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! My rating: 10++++”
“This place just opened. It's not clear what cuisine this is from the photos and description, and for some reason it's classified as Diner but it's doing brunch.
Anyway this is a Korean fusion cuisine restaurant and it's trying to mimic the success of the japanese fusion Soho in Milpitas. Its interior is modeled for fine dining and it has a comprehensive drinks menu. Food though is quite good, the bulgogi cream pasta has the right amount of cream and taste, it's not too heavy, and the bulgogi used high quality beef/steak pieces and not your run of the mill regular beef. The fried chicken is almost perfect, crispy outside, the crunch is just right, not too hard and not soggy. The uni rice pot is good but the cream doesn't have enough uni taste unfortunately. The service is excellent as well.”
“Pretty solid. Quick service. Really attentive. We went when it was a bit slower so it was a little awkward with them hovering by, but I get it. Lots of options the ayce is kind of pricey but if you're coming hungry I think it's worth it. Really appreciate the condiments already being at the table for sauces. Would definitely come back, but maybe for happy hour, for the price discount.”

“We booked this for an important family dinner that I really needed to get right, and the venue absolutely came through for me. From the moment we walked in, the staff made the whole evening feel a bit special without ever overdoing it. They'd given us a beautifully set table tucked away enough to feel a bit private, our server was warm and engaged throughout, and the food was honestly some of the best we've had in months. Every course came out perfectly cooked, generously portioned, and beautifully presented. We worked through a starter each, mains, and a shared dessert at the end, with the staff quietly bringing out a little candle for the birthday in the middle of our group without us having to ask. That gesture absolutely made the evening for the person it was for. The pacing of the meal was textbook — never rushed, never forgotten — and we had plenty of time between courses to actually talk to each other. The bill at the end was very fair for the quality of the whole experience. The family has already agreed it's our new go-to for any kind of special occasion. Lovely place.”
“We had a great experience at Restaurant Gish. Absolutely loved the food, our menu was very well thought out and executed. I would highly recommend, and will definitely be returning!”

“I'm a wagyu enthusiast, and while I generally think wagyu is not worth it in hot pot. The ayce and happy hour options make it worth it.
Psa, do NOT order the sushi. I wouldn't order it even if it was free. It does not look like the image, and it tastes like low quality fish”

“Possibly the best noodle soup we had anywhere. Amazing noodles, broth, great ingredients, subtle spices that do not overwhelm and mask the overall taste.
Clean and tidy place, pleasant servers.
Make sure to pay attention to their closing times or call ahead to make sure, as they close the kitchen a little earlier than what they have on their site.”

“We ordered catering from Puranpoli for our engagement event, and the overall experience was great. The team was helpful while finalizing the menu and quantities, and they were patient with all our questions and changes.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and had a nice homestyle Maharashtrian taste. The sabudana vada, batata vada, kadai paneer, makai palak, masale bhat, dal, rice, and naan were all enjoyed by our guests. The portions were generous, and everything was packed well for the event.
A special thank you to Sheetal and the team for helping us plan the order for a large gathering.”

“The service attitude here is great. I like the drinks very much. It feels very magical, like a magic potion🥰”

“Not my first time here. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Bay Area, simply because food tastes so good and consistent in quality.
This time we had:
Shang hai crab roe noodles
Crab roe fried rice
Mongolian Wagyu beef
Crab roe & pork soup dumplings
The food was amazing, as always. Everything tasted fresh and absolutely delicious! My favorite dish is Shanghai crab roe noodles, rich, creamy, and always packed with flavor. I also fell in love with the crab roe fried rice, even though it was my first time trying it. The Mongolian Wagyu beef was tender and perfectly seasoned. The crab roe & pork soup dumplings arrived hot, comforting, and full of flavor as well.
The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food, and the service is always a 10/10. Our dishes started arriving less than 5 minutes after we placed our order, which was impressive.
This continues to be my forever favorite restaurant at Westfield Valley Fair, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.”
Outdoor Dining
“My partner and I loveeee coming to the place for some late night munchies. The food is fantastic plus their cane sugar soda feels like a better choice from regular sodas. Overall the vibes here are great. Glad that we have a cool eatery near by that’s open late 😎”
“Amazing Peruvian food. The food here is outstanding — bold, flavorful, and clearly made with care. However, the wrinkled, unironed tablecloths were hard to ignore. It’s a small detail, but it undermines the professionalism of what is otherwise a great dining experience. Sort out the presentation and this place would be close to perfect.”
“Appreciate the effort for zero waste. We were visiting from MI so the vibe was off for me - they are not a typical friendly neighborhood ice cream shop. Orders are placed via kiosk, associate makes product, wraps it, places it on the shelf on a stand, and then calls your name to . It’s fine and efficient but not little to no interaction between staff and customers. Ice cream was very good though.”
“Absolutely the BEST food and service at Eurogrill! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed like family. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes sure everything is perfect. The food is outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and made with real Balkan tradition. The Ćevapi (house specialty) are simply the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled to perfection. You can truly taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. If you’re looking for amazing Balkan food and top-notch service, Eurogrill is the place to go. Highly recommend! I will definitely be coming back again and again. 👏🔥 Ketering was perfectly arranged!”
“Thoughtful gluten free options which are so hard to find. Clean, well run. Insane dessert crepe w Nutella and a ton of fresh fruit. Never would have known it wasn’t gluten-full. Berry smoothie w oat milk too, ‘cause we’re gluttonous. Highly recommend!”

“Su’s is such a welcoming place with amazing food that you can customize to your liking! It’s clean and well kept. The food is cooked right in front of you so you know everything that is going into your meal. When it’s busy, it does get loud but I take it as a sign of a well loved place with lots of happy people!”

“I was traveling down in the San Jose area and was looking for a nice steak. I had the 10 ouch filet medium rare and it was cooked perfect. I sat in the bar as I was by myself. There was a good selection of beer, wine and cocktails. Service was nice as well. Hit the spot.”
“I had the bacon egg and cheese croissant and was a little disappointed that there was mayonnaise and avocado on the sandwich, there was not mention of either on the menu when looking at what the menu said the sandwich had. My girlfriend had the Belgian waffle and a side of two eggs, she was disappointed there was powdered sugar on it when she stated that she didn’t want anything on the waffle. Overall the food was good and we did eat the food. The staff here is very friendly.”
“This is a reallly wholesome, family-run Indian vegetarian restaurant. For $18, they have a very tasty all you can eat buffet. They bring to your table some fresh made chapati too. There is a delicious lemon pudding for dessert and also always fresh fruit. If you want some good home cooking, this is the place.”
“This restaurant was absolutely delicious! I ordered the fig and goat cheese burger, and it was out of this world. I wasn't expecting it to be that amazing, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The combination of flavors was incredible, and I'd definitely order it again. Highly recommend giving it a try!”

“I don't normally make reviews about shopping centers, but this one is very nice and aesthetic one to go to. To be honest, I've never been in a shopping center that looks as ambient compared to average ones I go to.
Yes it's not really a big place, but it's built nice and clean at the same time. Probably most people who work around here come here for lunch. It would have been better if there are bigger building while using the same materials as well as a bigger shopping center, but this is fine.”
“Staff are polite, the rooms are nice, good song selection and if we can’t find a song we can use YouTube, which is great! The only thing is that there are not many vegetarian options.”
“A small-ish place with not too many seating - but packs a punch!! 🥹
Delicious masala puri, churmuri(Bangalore bhel puri)! 🤤
I also tried the pulao but didn’t love it. Though, that is because my spouse’s mom makes the best pulao in the world! 😊
I’ll be stopping by to try more dishes when I’m in the area!”

“Salt & Straw never fails to amaze! They have some of the most unique and weird flavor combinations you’ll ever see, but somehow every single one tastes absolutely incredible.
The Pear & Blue Cheese is spectacular, and the Chocolate Gooey Brownie is pure perfection. If you're on the fence about trying their wilder flavors, just go for it—they nail the balance every time. Easily one of the best ice cream spots around!”

“Love, Love, Love this place! Lee's is authentic Chinese food. They've been in business for over 30 years and there's a reason for it. Delicious food, wonderful people that treat you like family. I love the walnut shrimp, pork chow mein, Mongolian beef, black mushroom chicken, and won ton soup. Hole in the wall, delicious food!! You've got to try it!”

“I've seen this place for as long as I've lived here and finally tried it today.
Just to be blunt it was alright. I don't eat much Mediterranean food so I can't say if it was good in that regard but it was ok to me.
Pricing wise they do give you a lot of food so is worth your buck.”
“We tested Ghee Masala Dosa it was crispy hence excellent , served hot and fresh . Four types of chutney are also served with it . Kesar Sheera was also nice . Simplicity in decor and layout . Assume Wait time of 25 minutes plus 15 minutes of preparation time after order is placed , at weekends. Overall Nice experience .”
“I have been going to Rice junky for more than a year. I love their food. The price is not too much and portion is very good. Also I love to hear korean pop music .
And service is good 👍”

“I love the omelet rice and siu-mai :) The space inside isn't huge but I think that adds to the homey vibes 🤗 I think all portions are generous - enough to take home leftovers. She even takes it to the back and puts them in boxes for you which I appreciate. I always leave very full and happy haha, and it's nice to see the owners' kind faces every time I come back!”
“Finally made the 90-minute trek to Dave’s Hot Chicken with the fam! 🍗 The vibe was great—super friendly staff and a very clean spot despite the crowd. The chicken was fresh, hot, and delicious. Only downside was no cheese sticks today, but that just gives us an excuse to come back soon!”
“I’ve been coming here for almost 30 years, hands down the best yogurt in Santa Clara county, the staff is usually friendly, except one guy. The biggest downfall is that we should be able to try a couple flavors to see what we like and don’t like before purchasing, I have purchased a couple times where I ended up throwing away my $9 yogurt because it didn’t taste right to me, had I been able to sample first I would’ve known not to purchase that flavor. Please allow samples again…..at least give a limit of 2 free ones, you’re not losing money by allowing a small sample Thanks for the Carbolite options they are a life saver on my healthy lifestyle goals”
“We’ve been living in the area for almost a year and have walked past this place so many times. I finally got the chance to try it out today, and I honestly wish we’d come sooner! The outside doesn’t do it justice, the pizza was delicious, and I’ll definitely be back.
My only wish is that they would consider adding a halal option. Even something as simple as offering halal pepperoni or a halal protein alongside the regular menu would make such a difference. I know there are so many families in the area who would absolutely love the chance to enjoy more of the menu, and I truly think it would bring in even more happy customers.
Thank you for a great pizza, we’re already looking forward to our next visit! 😊”
“First time there and the food was absolutely amazing - can not recommend the brisket”
“One of the best RAMEN 🍜 I have ever taste and highly recommended.”
“Mio Vicino is a Santa Clara institution. Consistently great food. Friendly atmosphere. It’s a Perry family go to place for sure! 😎👍🏼”
“So yummy. Always have really good banchan. The kimchi jijae is super yummy. And thier homemade spicy sauce is delicious. Definitely a place to come back and enjoy again. Everytime we come the food and service is great!!”
“Great food! My moms first time and couldn’t stop raving about the chicken adobo and the halo halo. It’s pricey but good. And the staff is very nice.”
“Our first visit. We stopped in for lunch on the weekend. Food and service were great. Not crowded at all. We ordered burgers and they were good size and cooked to our request.”
“Our first time here and everything was delicious! We had the garlic edamame, salmon express and the spicy tails rolls and the salmon with lemon dill nigiri. So good!”
“Beautiful bartenders, greatest service the people there are so friendly and nice. Great environment to hang out relax and get to know new people and make new friends.”
“TabarakAllah the food here was just like HOME!! It was so delicious I can’t wait to go back again. You know it’s authentic when you see all the Auntie’s working hard to cook the food for everyone. You get a lot of food for a great price!! Definitely a great place to eat!”

“Above average sushi in a strip mall. They are known for their rolls, which are decent. Solid nigiri although limited. Good for a quick lunch. Checks all the boxes.”
“The tamalesis must have and must try! The best corn tamales I ever had in my entire life❤️”
“Very authentic flavors, reminded me of the times I ate at the ryoutei style restaurants in Japan! サーモンハラスの塩焼き - Grilled salmon belly 生うどん - Fresh udon noodle soup ユズ香る茶碗蒸し - Egg custard with yuzu with crab sauce on top イイダコの唐揚げ - Deep fried mini octopus”
“Great variety at the Buffet, water was coming to our table before we even sat down. Fresh Naan was hot and delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive, will definitely be going back!”
“This is my go-to spot if I crave for spicy seafood noodle soup. Taste is great and portion is huge. The server helped us split one order into 2 bowls. Our favorite dishes are sweet and sour shrimp, Moo Shu pork, and shrimp fried rice. Highly recommend!”
“I can always trust the side dishes (banchan) here. The seasoning is always spot on—they taste exactly as I expect, or even better! These side dishes have been a total lifesaver for my daily meals. Thank you so much for the delicious food!”
“Quality, fresh variety of raw sashimi. The Omasake Sashimi, Kaisen Don, and Golden Hand Roll options are showstoppers!”
“Absolutely fantastic food and excellent service. We celebrated our Birthdays tonight, and the staff is amazing. Love their salmon sashimi and megura. Kyiv roll and honey walnut rolls were also delicious!”
“The aunties here are so sweet and are so very attentive/kind! Food-wise, they make a lot of their banchan from scratch and you can tell the food here has so much heart put into it. Maybe it's a good thing after all that we had an issue with our reservation tonight at that... other restaurant that starts with B and rhymes with pong... Found our new fave mom-and-pop kbbq spot! We will most certainly be back.”
“Crispy pork belly brought us to this restaurant. It didn’t disappointed us, so as another dish - house special pan fried noodles. The dishes were tasty and big portion. The Fried noodles was crispy and topped with mushrooms, fish, pork, chicken, squid, bok choy… it was a good dish! We highly recommend it for crispy noodles lover.😋 Tea and a dish of peanuts was on the house 😁😁
The staff were friendly and nice. Never push for order and check. Credit cards were accept but no Apple Pay.
The atmosphere was very Chinese style. We recognized many of its guests speak GuangDongnese. So we guessed this restaurant must serve good HK style food. We will come again!😊😊”
“Friendship BBQ is such a fun spot if you’re looking for a casual place with good food and a lively atmosphere. I really enjoyed the flavors — the BBQ/skewer-style dishes were tasty, well-seasoned, and perfect for sharing. The place has a comfortable, social vibe, which makes it great for going with friends or trying something different for dinner.
I also tried the IV beer, and it definitely made the experience more unique and memorable. The overall vibe felt fun and relaxed, and I liked that it wasn’t just about the food but also the experience. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re in the mood for flavorful BBQ and a chill night out.”
“The staff was very welcoming to our large group & even took photos of our group for us. The food was amazing with lots of choices for everyone.”
“this place is the bomb. food is just so full of flavor, all of it. totally recommend.”
“Rude and abusive owner, poor quality food, bad location, disgusting on the inside, slow service. There is better sushi at gas stations these days.”
“Fantastic menu. I enjoyed eating and my 2 daughters as well. Great place to celebrate life milestones.”
“Edit (additions) May 27, 2026.
After my initial review I have come back again and again. This restaurant never failed my expectation. It is getting better with time. In this day and age for a restaurantuer to persist in their belief in delivering quality foods at reasonable price, while maintaining the customer-centered focus it takes genuine deterimination and honesty. I recommend this place without any reservation.
(Original review below)
Authentic Chinese cuisine at better than affordable prices. For the quality in the selection of material and preparation you really can't beat this place. The service is responsive, personal, and fast. Clean, bright, and spacious feeling. Open space kitchen allows you easy glance at the dedication of the culinary staff in action. Easy to get to, and plenty of parking space.”
“Gonna be one of my new spots for sure! Loved the pupu platter and my bf and i shared it was definitely enough food. We also tried the purple yam potatoes and the yellow toe handle roll. Delicious!”
“I hosted a Bosnian watch party here, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Brianna was absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish. She was responsive, organized, accommodating, and made the entire process seamless.
The service on the day of the event was outstanding, everything ran smoothly, and our guests had a fantastic time.
Thank you, Brianna, and the entire team, for helping make our watch party such a success. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a group event!”
“Crispy seafood pancake not too greasy, great for sharing. The kimchi tofu soup lacked kimchi so I wouldn't get it again, but the dumpling soup looked better. A good place for a quick tofu soup in a rainy day. Nothing fancy. Just basic meal when you want good tofu soup.”
“Excellent beers. Widest selection of west coast IPAs in the area — 7 on tap right now! Got a flight of five and all were excellent. They have hazy IPAs as well, but haven’t gone hazy crazy like so many other breweries. We had a salad as well, which also was awesome. My only complaint is not enough outdoor seating, and what was there was reserved for an event. Inside a bit noisy, but the vibe is cool.”
“Their Golden Monkey is an absolutely stunning black tea - truly head and shoulders above the others I've tried.
I look forward to trying the coffee”
“Pretty average hotel. Giving it 4 stars given it included breakfast and happy hour. The bartenders and omlette maker were excellent and friendly. Other breakfast staff seemed less than thrilled to be there but overall went about their tasks and kept out of guests way. The rooms could definitely use some updating and the layout was quite awkward being right next to the stairwell. The room felt cramped and the bathroom small to maneuver in. Not sure if all rooms were that way but I'd suggest a different room. The hotel was reasonably close to some restaurants and easy enough to get around the area. Overall not a bad stay.”
“Great post concert eat out place. Lots of street food items available. Glad the restaurant stays open late past midnight. Fried chicken, pork belly, gimmari and chicken gizzards were delicious. Soft rolled omelette were excellent.”
“Understanding, that we went during rush hour and didn't really sit long (maybe 20 mins) to almost finishing up our food. The hostess asked us to hurry up and pay the bill that they brought out early. For sure they were rushing us out. There was 2 people waiting at the door.”
“They have amazing oden, looks like they improved the recipe, it used to be just ok but now it is freaking amazing. And it’s a bargain for $9. The staff is also nice. Always happy to come back”
“Overall, the food and service were good and I would like to come back to La Casa Mia. I love Japanese fusion style pasta, and I think this is the perfect place to go if you are craving it. I particularly liked the mentaiko cream sauce! However, I suggest skipping ordering the baguette slices. The portion was small and it tasted so airy like nothing. Refills were available, but it was difficult to get the server's attention and they forgot to refill it even after asking several times.”
“They have several gluten free options. Food and service were excellent!”
“Wow. I'd love to leave this review just saying that but it wouldn't do it justice. Got the chole bhatura and OMGGGG this was unbelievably delicious! Def hit the spot! Will be coming my back for sure,
Service is also 100%! Guy at the front was so friendly and welcoming and was attentive as well. He was multitasking the register, cleanup, and serving.”
“Food was good, and the workers were so sweet! It does get pretty lively, but if that atmosphere doesn’t bother you then I think this is a great place to stop for a late night food run.”
“Came by for small eats and were blown away by the quality of the food! The sauce for the summer rolls were so uniquely tasty and the mango sticky rice was the best I’ve had. Will be coming back to try their entrees soon!”
“I was so hungry after work so I’m thinking like good food, my spirit brought me to your restaurant. I ordered to go , Crispy Pata, Siningang pork, Panvit Bihon and Shanghai pork. Thank you, all the food are so good indeed. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻”
“Staff were very friendly! Patrick made the best margarita I ever had. The space indoors and outdoors were great. It was beautiful. Even other customers were nice.”
“It's an amazing and conducive place.. i like all the foods very delicious and affordable price.. so, to all people out there try it!!”
“Thumbs up:
- Easy, free parking
- Classy, quiet, and comfortable atmosphere
- Attentive and friendly service
- Steak was cooked as requested and with a nice chimichurri sauce
Meh:
- The accompanied shoestring potatoes were literally potato chips in shoestring format; really didn't pair well with the steak. Some veggies or polenta would have been much better.
- The key lime cheesecake was fine but not particularly tangy or memorable.
- Ow the lunch pricing. $60 after tax and tip for the steak entree + dessert (no drink), but this *is* in a hotel, so I wasn't terribly surprised.”
“If you go earlier around noon it’s still hot cannot cut into pieces. Sometimes it’s popular call and check if available before you go. But Pork feet taste really good though. Pay cash will be cheaper. $40”
“Went to the Buffet lunch today. The food was delicious and the choices - plenty. Good options for both . Excellent service.”
“Sandi's Cobbler Cup are awesome but she offers so much more. The gumbo and jambalaya is always fresh and taste great. Sandi is very professional and offers catering that's second to none.”
“You ever watch Kdramas? If so, have you seen their restaurants there in Korea? Its literally the same vibe you'd get from this place. We've been going to this spot since before covid hit. And their food hasnt changed one bit. Everything you order would hit. Whenever you order KBBQ they would cook it for you too. Dont forget to order a bottle or two of soju.”
“This is honestly the best korean barbecue I've ever had. I went here about a year ago with a friend, and we truly had the best time. The gentleman serving us was kind enough to help us pick out some items, warned us not to fill up on the really tasty rice (because everything else we had was equally tasty), and we were not disappointed! The food was made by his family and he explained that they had extremely high quality meats, and you could tell. Our server even cooked the meats for us because it was a slower time of the day.
Then when his family went to eat dinner in the middle of the restaurant, as they do presumably every day, he even shared his own dinner with us, so we could try it. I honestly have never been so impressed with someone's service, that me and my friend (who have been servers ourselves) tipped him excessively and he deserved every bit of it.
Please support this small family business, they clearly put a lot of love into what they do, and like us- you will not be disappointed.”
“I had the shredded beef flautas w beans and rice and it was delicious 😋”
“Its a sports bar with wings! We were there Saturday night and a UFC fight was on the screens. Able to have conversation and enjoy our wings. Smoke eaters makes great wings. We had quite a variety between the 5 of us. There was a plate of lemon pepper tenders, Atomic wings, Buffalo wings, a chicken tenders wrap, a plate of lemon pepper wings and parmesan wings and a couple of baskets of fries. As advertised good wings and great food. plenty of screens so you can sit on any side of a table and see the fight. Bet its great here on a college or NFL football day.”
“We had a wonderful experience dining here! The service was incredibly fast, and there were plenty of menu options to choose from for both adults and kids.
Our group of 3 adults and 5 kids ordered the JSJ BBQ Combo A, along with an additional BBQ meat selection that unfortunately I can't remember the name of—but it ended up being everyone's favorite! The meats were flavorful, tender, and cooked perfectly.
The Dolsot Bibimbap was delicious and very generously portioned. The Seafood Pancake was a huge hit with the kids—we actually wished we had ordered a second one because it disappeared so quickly!
Overall, this is a great spot for authentic Korean food, generous portions, and efficient service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back the next time we're in town.”

“My #1 criteria for bay area food is to make it out of the restaurant without severe gastric troubles. Delicious food has become secondary criteria. Based on that criteria the food was 10/10. After a long time I enjoyed good bay area food without having to consume 2 antacid tablets shortly after the meal. I hope this wasn’t a one-off and the restaurant kitchen staff maintain same quality by not storing food in refrigerators with lots of preservatives and baking soda.”
“This is going to be a long review and with twists.I am regular customer and used to love Jaks food, but on my last visit the food was a little underwhelming. We asked the sever if the chef had changed, and I was telling my husband we will not come back, but what happened after this completely changed my opinion. The owner Kalpana ji personaly came and explained that the chef had changed for a short while but the old chef is back and asked me to tell the old chef what the issue was. I said the basil paratha tasted a little stale so she called the chef and he took my feedback and made me a fresh basil paratha on the spot, which tasted amazing 😍. She also gave us 2 mango lassi's on the house. I am very impressed that they hold their customer's feedback in such regard. So Long story short, definitely coming back and can't wait to give them 5 stars again.”
New Restaurants
“This was our first visit to Cairo Grill and we were very impressed by the quality of the food and variety! You’ll get the most authentic taste of Mediterranean foods there. And the rice pudding is a 10/10! You must try this for dessert! The grocery store is also truly unique and has a variety of products that you will not find anywhere else”
“Like it says on the tin, a little slice of the divine for nerds who like games.
With regular events highlighting the range of gaming; video games from east to west & tabletop of every sort. Starting from the menu items and radiating out from there, it's hard to not find something a geeky heart enjoys.
Owned & staffed by individuals dedicated to the shop as well as the culture, it's easy to feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
They even attend cons, so be sure to check them out there for exclusives you might not get back to the shop!”
“I ordered a mango-orange-papaya smoothie. (you can mix and match from about 8-10 fruit options). For <$10 I got a large glass of some really excellent smoothie with exactly those ingredients + some ice. It was tasty, it wasn't too sweet, and it was a generous quantity. The only minor complaint was that the straw they gave was too short for the glass! (should've got a picture before consuming the whole thing but I forgot, picture attached just shows the serving size). Would definitely visit again.”
“Dined here on June 17, 2026. I ordered the adeni tea, baklava, as well as the spicy chicken fatayer. The adeni chai was delicious as expected. Baklava was thick, syrupy at the base and filled with plenty of pistachio which I loved so much. The spicy chicken fatayer was a recommendation from the staff. It was crisp and flavorful, but definitely on the milder side as far as spice level goes for me. The best part of this cafe I appreciated was that they had a small space dedicated for prayer which was very convenient.”
“This is a casual Indian food cart focused on street-food favorites, especially chai and quick snacks. They offer several varieties of tea, including ginger tea, ginger-cardamom tea, and options sweetened with jaggery instead of sugar.
I tried the ginger-cardamom chai and requested jaggery as the sweetener. The tea was aromatic, comforting, and perfect for the chilly weather, although it was a little sweeter than I would have preferred.
I also ordered a bowl of Maggi, the classic Indian instant noodles that many Indians grew up loving. There are several variations available, and I chose the version with paneer and vegetables. The portion size was generous and the paneer was plentiful, but unfortunately there were no vegetables in the bowl despite being listed. It wasn’t a major issue, but a little disappointing. At around $14, I also felt the dish was somewhat overpriced.
Besides chai and Maggi, they offer other popular snacks like bun maska, vegetarian sandwiches, and parathas. The menu isn’t huge, but there are enough options to satisfy a craving.
Overall, if you’re missing a cup of kadak chai and a late-night plate of Maggi like you’d find on the streets of India, this spot is definitely worth checking out.”
