“This place is small with few tables. you may have to wait a bit to be seated. The food is fantastic, hands down. Best potstickers we ever had. The Mu shu pork was even better. The menu is extensive and we need to go back and try other dishes. go for delicious and good quality food not necessarily the atmosphere. Highly recommend this little gem.”
“Best tamales I've ate and I'm super picky!! The tamales go hard. I have not found anything close to them. I found the new address on DoorDash. I haven't been able to go but I wonder if they moved to the location in the attached picture. Update: I went and false alarm they aren't there.”
“The food here is amazing! Super delicious and flavorful. I got the spicy sausage sandwich and my husband got the goulash and both were fantastic. I love the cozy vibes of the restaurant and the staff is super friendly. I’m definitely coming back here and highly recommend!”
“First time visiting this place after seeing it on yelp. Looking for a great skewer place that was authentic (thinking of China). As we approached the entrance we were greeted by an amazing smell of grilled food. Everyone seemed very excited and the wait was long due to many hungry customers. The staff was very friendly and the food even before eating, I know it is fantastic just from the smell and looks.”

“Insanely good bread. I stopped here randomly on my way to clinic. Definitely the most expensive pastrami sandwich I ever had but it was very very good. The meat was fantastic, not too salty and not that fatty. The bread is fresh out of the oven and melts in your mouth after a gentle crunch. No squeezing out of toppings. They know sandwiches. Too expensive to return but boy was it satisfying.”
“Lo key and good food. I was a little surprised that the fried yuca was only 5 pieces, but the chef's special seafood paella was so good my guest was eating my dinner.”

“I love the feeling of family owned businesses and the passion that is put into it! I absolutely love the Papo Seco and the Pasteis de Nata that I get here every other week! The food and groceries that are there are authentic Portuguese options with the home made taste!Highly recommend coming out to Portuguese Tasty Desserts for any and all Portuguese bakery needs!”
“I've been going here every since it opened up, and it is my go-to for halal pizza! Ingredients are fresh, bread/crust is delicious, and the owners are very friendly. Plus, there burger and pasta options are good, as well. Highly recommend!”
“Lovely little shop with freshly made sandwiches and frozen yogurt. The owner was very friendly and food tasted great. It is one of those places you walked in and out with a smile.”
“So grateful for their clean and yummy food. Got hit with a fever and the butternut squash soup with focaccia bread was so detoxing and healing. Thank you.Vegetarian options: Easy menu to choose from”
“Ordered here for the first time today, and these cookies are amazing! I ordered the chocolate chip and cookies and creme and they were both so good! Definitely will be coming back for more soon.”
“Today we visited our beloved restaurant Din Tai Fung again. Whether in Taiwan or the United States, its consistent high-quality service remains the same. Surprisingly, the American branches have maintained the same standard, and the young service team is courteous and attentive. The food is as delicious as ever, and every time I visit, I look forward to it. It is indeed a place worth returning to again and again. I ate Xiao Long Bao today, and the fried tofu was quite delicious along with the kale and pork ribs and egg fried rice. It's a pity that the food intake is limited, otherwise I should have ordered more.”
“The good and ambiance are very nice. Mike G our sever was simple awesome! Dylan made some amazing drinks prior to our seating. Thanks we will definitely come back many times.”
“Great croissants as expected, tried the breakfast croissant with egg and Gruyere, matcha chocolate croissant. You can experience the care and attention to detail in every pastry. Too pricey as regular pastry shop to patronize but will come by occasionally.”

“This is my go-to spot for coffee meetings in the South Bay. Voyager has interesting and delicious coffee flavors, and they continually update their seasonal menu. The staff is super friendly. And the there's a chill, relaxed vibe.”

“Delicious food and they have so many vegetarian options! Great service and nice atmosphere. We will definitely be returning. Wish I would have taken pictures of the food but no time for pictures when the food is this good!”
“Excellent quality, the best broth, excellent noodles, delicious Tonkatsu, and friendly service... I'd have a picture of the excellent ramen, but I always can't wait to get it in my stomach :) Get the cheesecake if it is not sold out. Wait time is typically moderate and not too bad, and you can easily see your spot in line from your phone after checking in.”

Shawarmaji
“This is place is locked in as the Shawarma go-to spot. The fries and falafels are a must have!! Staff are always happy and energized. The restaurant is kind of small and loud, it's perfect for a quick bite or grab and go. Keep the quality and I'll keep coming back.”
“Great vibe with tables on one side to chat with your folks, a bar area to sit and work, and an area with old school arcade games and a pool table. There’s also a cozy seating area with couches and a coffee table. Great beer that rotates and the bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and descriptive about their stock of beers (shoutout to Matthew!). Would definitely recommend checking out this spot, great to socialize with a big or small group, to get work done, and to play some OG games! Really enjoyed my experience here!”
“A small hole-in-the-wall BBQ place in an industrial park. The food is good, it has to be given the location. Great house BBQ sauces. Get there early, like all good BBQ places, the good stuff goes fast.”
Outdoor Dining
“Great food, AMAZING owner!Definitely the truck I'm hitting up from now on! My friends and I had the tacos and quesabirria, all so delicious, the meats had great flavor, all the salsas were so fresh (esp the avocado one! Omg). Absolutely adore the owner, she's so kind and so fun! You won't regret hitting up this truck!”
“We had beef-lamb doner plate and lahmacun. The taste of doner was amazing. It has the perfect meat/fat ratio. We hesitated to eat lahmacun in the bay area. But this place is an excellent choice to eat lahmacun. They also serve homemade yogurt drink which is really good. But doner was the best. The staff was kind and friendly.”
“Ordered a large order for takeout and the owner was extremely accommodating and had phenomenal communication! The food was fantastic, wrapped well so it wouldn't spill in transport. The falafel was phenomenal, even some of my coworkers who don't like falafel in general said it was good! I would highly recommend going!Vegetarian options: Falafel is fantastic!”

“My friend and I are foodies; she is vegan and myself dairy-free we're always on the hunt for good vegan ice cream! She recommended Rocko's for dessert and I couldn't pass up on trying an ice cream taco! Right when I stepped in, I knew this was a popular spot. Artsy paintings, a neighborhood vibe, and happy customers rolling in and out are what you'll find. There's limited bar stool seating inside but most take it to-go. Lines can be long or short, but turnaround is fast. They have desserts for all--dairy, vegan, and gluten-free options galore! You're able to build your sweet treat or get one of their signatures. I chose to enjoy a Tiny Ice Cream Taco, my flavor of choice being the Vegan Matcha Oreo. For toppings, I had Dark Chocolate and Sprinkles. The tiny was the perfect size and it can get quite messy! The matcha was prevalent and not too sweet while the taco had a nice crunch to it. My friend enjoyed her Tiny Ice Cream Taco as well! For those craving ice cream and a unique way to eat it, I recommend Rocko's Ice Cream Tacos! Find them easily off Park Ave. with street parking.”
“Everything is great, there’s an employee named Laura who is always super nice and hospitable, made the experience that much better. She is always handling a lot of things all at once every time I come in she’s helping customers or other employees. Every time I come in she remembers my order, one of the reasons I keep coming to this location.Food is great.”

“VFM 5/5This is a place mostly run by elderly folks and gives warmth and homely vibe to the place. You feel like you are taken care of here. Salmon was yummy and fresh. The kebab platter had chicken souvlaki, mutton and sausages. A bit heavy but wholesome. The gyros were huge and the fries were fresh. Overall we had a relaxed and good time. Sardines on the special was average for me.”
“The food here is very good! They have so many different meat options to choose from, even if you do not eat pork or beef. The lamb and seafood are fresh. Stephen (Curry) was an awesome server and made sure we were always attended to and kept with new rounds of food on the table!”
“One of my favorite restaurants to eat at, with options that are very healthy and very delicious. The staff here are very cordial, homely and polite.I make it a point to bring anyone new to the Bay Area here to experience the taste of these amazing crepes.”
“The ambiance and service here is top notch and we really enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately the food was just a little bland and the Chorizo Benedict tasted much more like a tomato sauce than chorizo but the chilaquiles were very good. The drink menu was the best part with great bloody Marys and non alcoholic options.”
“Friendly staff and good selection of food items. Bottles of water were ready on each table. Server was helpful with menu questions and gave recommendations. Food was good and tasty (aside from the one that was way too spicy)Cons: space looked somewhat unorganized. It took a long time and two reminders for an additional item.Even though it was noted for our food to be “very very mild” it was very spicy that I took it home, soaked it in water and washed the sauce totally off but it was still spicy!Kid-friendliness: Not at all, even mild spicy is way too spicy for kids”

“Flemings earns 5 stars for me because it hits all the levels for this style of restaurant. That is to say; a high food standard restaurant operating inside a large corporate business zone. So your atmosphere is clean, light and casual enough for work team dinners while still having an up scale appearance & feel.Clearly defined open bar space and well stocked wine selection.Parking: The main parking lot serves all the local business in the center so it is dynamic. You can drive around until something opens, or you can use the parking garage that adds a bit more of a walk. They have their own valet service right at the front of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: While we dined we noticed a few families with younger children & even babies & toddlers. The accomodations appeared to work for them & the other patrons.”
“I got the March menu, and the highlights of the menu were the chicken breast wrapped in chicken mousse and raw wagyu salad. The other items were fine but not quite memorable. I would suggest to skip the add on caviar since it does not add much for the cost. Wine is delicious. Service is decent. The team is small but efficient. The space is also small, and the restroom is in a different facility. Overall, the experience was pleasant. However, the price for my dinner including wines and add on is on par with one Michelin star places. And I find that a little over priced.”
“I ordered takeout through Uber Eats from this place, so can't comment about the service and atmosphere of this place. I got the spicy dragon roll, gyoza and salmon teriyaki entree. The gyoza was standard and it was a slight let down because it wasn't warm, but that's completely on the Uber driver as he had to make a few deliveries on the way. The spicy dragon roll was disappointing, it wasn't spicy at all and the sushi roll's rice didn't appear spot on. The salmon teriyaki was standard and decent. However the miso soup was plain bad, too watery and lacking flavor.”
“Great pizza spot with a big menu.We went here for lunch, I got the apple walnut chicken salad, my coworkers got the spaghetti and deep dish pizza. My dish was great and they said they enjoyed theirs. The deep dish looked amazing and I'll have to go back and try it. Medium is probably too big for one person so I would stress a small. They also serve beer and wine but we stuck to water during the work week.”
“Pretty solid burger spot here in the Santa Clara area. The “smash burger” is not at all smashed, but it is still pretty tasty.A surprise hit for me were the mac n cheese balls. They were extremely good with the ranch dipping sauce.”
“Great beers and food in a locally owned brewery. This is a great place to stop after having meetings in the Silicon Valley. They have a great service and local atmosphere. They have a huge variety of local beers and ciders.”
“I had the chicken masala with rice and it came with a potato and I believe Greek salad? Something like that it was an entree at lunch and it was outstanding. I've driven by this place a million times and never stopped and my car was getting repaired across the street and I finally made it inside and was not disappointed. The gentleman that runs the place is very very nice. The food was enough to fill me up which you don't see often sometimes these days. I would recommend it absolutely.”
“Delicious hot chai latte - nice level of sweet and spice. Other stuff looked good. Very clean, nice staff!Would go back! But there was a yoga class and a painting class and the cafe which seemed like too much going on at once.”
“Love the blockbuster and chicken bruschetta. Takes 20min from order to your table but it’s worth the wait. Pretty family friendly except when UFC is on the TVs.”
“A good snack restaurant to taste Korean snack food. The generous service and delicious cooking skills of the friendly owner are additional features. The price is very reasonable and it is individually packaged so you can buy pre-cooked Korean food and eat it at home. The kimbap is excellent, and the signature bean noodles, which are only available in the summer, are also the best. This is the only Korean restaurant in San Jose where you can taste instant tteokbokki.”
“Came here around 6:30pm on a sunday night and waited for around 30 minutes for a party of 3. I ordered the Chirashi Don Deluxe, which was $13 pricier than the regular chirashi don for a tiny piece of uni and sweet shrimp, which was not really worth it imo. However, all the fish were super high quality. I also liked that there was a good mix of red and white fish, lean and fatty cuts, and the addition of tamago, scallop, and ikura. The sushi rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The portion was huge as well - I'd probably share this chirashi don with a friend if I were to get it again. I definitely would come back for the great fish quality.”
“Had the roasted Lamb, as well as chicken and beef kabobs, and all of it was wonderful. The lamb was as tender as I have had anywhere in the bay area and Came in a great portion for the price of the dish. The chicken and beef were delicious and had just the right amount of seasoning remaining to flavor the rice.If you have not, definitely give this place a try if you're in the area.Dietary restrictions: Food served is Halal”
“We were looking for a cozy not crazy crowded brunch place in Santa Clara, and I'm happy we found one. There are indoor sitting and outdoor sitting (patio with heaters and shade, as well as open space) options.Servers seem caring and doing everything quickly (at least when it's not very busy), they were checking on us a few times and giving a coffee refill without request.House coffee is a good one, but not the best one. With the order we got all the condiments, sauces and ketchup after requesting one.The food is good overall, interesting sauce for a wrap and a nice hollandaise for eggs benedict. The only little surprise is a hard biscuit under the eggs which tastes like it was refrigerated and then put in the microwave, not freshly baked for sure.Overall it's a good place for a weekend brunch, we will come back again soon for sure.”
“The original is good, the matcha is meh. Their cheesecakes are more cheesy than cakey. So if you prefer one style over the other, you have been forewarned. The cheesecakes are incredibly tender. But yeah 15 feels a bit high for the quantity. The service is quick though. There's never a line out of their own fault.”

“Great service and speed!! Food tasted great. Would definitely come again. Got the cold noodles and beef soup. The sides tasted great as well but a little spicy.I feel like it was a little more expensive than normal but I feel like all the Korean restaurants in the area have started to cost moreAlso there's a lot of parking compared to the other places in the area”

“While queuing, a staff member presents a menu to introduce the variety of noodles available, such as thick or thin noodles, whether to add green onions, choose a rich or light broth, whether to add a soft-boiled egg, etc., making your selection more convenient and efficient. The decor is very Japanese, and the staff attire is also in a Japanese style, with food being served quickly.”

“I live nearby, and this Denny's is always my go-to. Whether it’s 2am, or 2pm, the service and servers are always super friendly and attentive. This is honestly one of the best Dennys locations, and it’s in nice, chill area.”
“This owner and baker gives back to the community she lives in. Cupcakes are so moist. So many choices. Cake pops are a hit with all ages. Great customer service!”
“We attended the 2023 Juneteenth celebration hosted by the African American Community Services Agency in Santa Clara County. The festival was well attended and had plenty of food vendors offering their authentic signature dishes.I can't remember the name of the person I was conversing with at the back of the booth for Sandi's CobblerCups but he did share what they're famous for -- Gumbo, Jambalaya, and Peach Cobbler. Of course, my curious self couldn't pass up an opportunity to try some Cajun food perfected from a family who has probably passed down the recipe from generation to generation. We ended ordering the combo which was half Gumbo and half Jambalaya. Surprisingly -- I don't think I have ever tried neither so the appreciation for the level of spices used, textures, and flavors were definitely heightened. My date and I shared the plate and when I got too full -- he finished the rest of it which is an indicator that he approved and thoroughly also enjoyed the dish. There was no skimping on the sausage vs. rice ratio either so it is something to pick up for a very filling and comforting meal.I hope to support these guys at future events, festivals, and celebrations. It looks like the primarily operate in a pop up format at larger event gatherings. I'm sure I'll run into them again somewhere in the Bay Area.Support local y'all!”
“The food quality is great and prices are relatively reasonable. The menu is not long running so choices are limited. Even though it is categorised as a continental cuisine restaurant, the taste should be broadly appealing. A good place for health conscious choices. Also, I think it's the only good restaurant on Laurelwood road.”
“The most important thing for me is that my food is hot and the order is correct. Well, I got both plus the waiter was great. We used the drive threw . They were fast, accurate and very friendly.Christy ”
“I’ve been here 4 times for dinner and always great food, great service at a great price. The brisket burnt ends over Mac n cheese are fantastic. Remember people, they are burnt ends so if you don’t like extra well done brisket don’t get them. I say that because there are people complaining because they are burnt color. The burgers are hand shaped, not a disk like other places and tender and juicy. Got the strawberry stuffed French toast…omgggg yummm! Give this place a try for dinner!Parking: Plenty of free parking”
“At 5:30 p.m. on the 29th of November, 23I stopped at this Jack-in-the-Box because I was driving home and used the drive-through. I waited as the cashier instructed, and after twenty minutes, she returned and asked what I would like. After processing my order, she said, "Can you hold on? You just had me wait 20 minutes and you want me to hold on again." I left the drive-through, drove past the drive-through window, and saw no one at the front counter. It was unclear why she needed a hold on as no one was in the restaurant, neither were there any cars in front of me waiting to place an order. Would”
“I wanted to say thank you to Eriana. I walked through the door and hear some lady yelling at the people behind the counter. She was upset about waiting for her order. Eriana a McDonald’s worker who was sitting down on her lunch break. Asked to see her receipt and she just raddled off something in Spanish about her order to her coworkers. Five minutes later the woman walked out happy with her order. She really stepped up to stop a conflict. If she’s not already a manager she should be.”

“The star dish: black bean noodles. If a dish has me hooked on every bite, I can literally make space even on a full stomach. This dish was 'it's: savory, 'al dente' noodles. Well made and a simple dish. The Sweet and Sour Pork (Beijing Style). Is what the restaurant is well known for. The big difference with this dish is that there's no red coloring in the sauce. I like how they served the sauce on top of the pork. This prevented the meat from becoming soggy from being drenched in sauce. I was not too impressed with the garlic beef. My guess is that they used some sort of tenderizer, which threw off the texture of the meat. It was okay, but not impressive. I went on a Saturday afternoon, when the restaurant was crowded. Wait time was around 30 minutes. The restaurant is nice and clean.”

“We ordered our baby shower cake and it was a great cake and great experience working with them; The tuxedo cake with the raspberry butter cream was amazing - Thank ”
“Wonderful food! The medhu vada and podi idly are particularly good, and in general all items are really tasty. The Ginger chutney (haven't seen that anywhere else) is simply amazing!!!”

“It’s my amazing first time being here. Now breakfast and cup of mocha with butter croissant is my sweet choice today ?Wow, taste is very good!If you like to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea - welcome to this awesome place!Stuff are very kind, atmosphere is pleasant!Highly recommended?”
“As good as reviews claim. I had spicy pork plate. It was outrageously good. You get a small cabbage and lettuce salads on the side with this. The service was just as friendly as the food was good.”
“The staff is friendly and responds tactfully to customers. Taste is okay. The restaurant is clean, so customers like it. Unless a new Chinese restaurant opens in this area, it will likely be exclusive for a long time. It's a shame that the sweet and sour pork doesn't have chewy meat.”
“What a lovely find. It is in a non-descript office park but it has a lovely setting and the coffee is smooth and the baristas are very knowledgeable! You will like the specialty coffee here.”
“The food is pretty good for a diner. The servers, alone, will make the dining mood a 2 star or a 5 star experience. I'd say the roll of the dice is worth it. Go try it out!Wheelchair accessibility: YES!”
“I went here for animal style fries which are vegetarian and taste amazing. Ask for extra spread for better taste. Costs around 5 to 6 dollars. I enjoy it alot, always best ??Parking: Free parking and lot of space”

“Amazing place for beer lovers! My first time there and it's wonderful. 71 taps of choise ? You can try everything you like. Place is clean , owners are nice, people around are calm and cool.Food is good.”
“I really enjoyed the custard, but because of the out of season fruits depending on when you go the Italian ices won't be as good in flavor. It has a nice atmosphere very similar to a Baskin Robins. You can sample the flavors before buying so don't be afraid to try things!”
“Amazing pizza and garlic bread. Loved the garlic bread, it definitely unique in the bay area. Highly recommended!!Vegetarian options: Paneer pizza, garlic bread.”

“This team is solid. Great service. I like those *happy hour drinks, so I'm often caught at Taco Bell between 2 and 5pm for those.Parking: Just plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for wheelchair access, you would have to come through the front, through the parking lot, or through the back, only.”
“This location is a good vibe and a chill place. Everyone there is super cool and they always understand my orders. I'm a picky eater so that's important to me that my order is correct. If your in the area and hungry you should stop there.”
“Always amazing at Chick-fil-A! I am from Anchorage, AK so I over do it when I come here! First of all thank you team, for going above and beyond in service! I was well served! First with my order, bringing my food, and polite even when I returned for a re-fill at the counter for my Coke Zero! Great job!!I ordered spicy chicken sandwich, the fried nuggets, waffle fries, and the wife got a chocolate shake. All an amazing a wonder, delicious, and drowning in chick-fil-a sauce. Oh I hate that they are not present in Alaska!! I would die at a chick-fil-a if they were! This location has a kids play place and plenty of seating for dining in. Which we did!Parking: When busy it can be challenging. Decent size lot however! If it’s full use the drive through.Kid-friendliness: Kids play place inside!!! Woo hoo!! Plus kids love this food. Just get them the nuggets.Wheelchair accessibility: Sure, entrance and bathrooms are accessible. Need we say more. Just eat here.”
“First time visited here on Friday evening with my family who have been here for quite a few times. The restaurant has spacious seating, attractive decor, and is clean as well.We came within happy hour (from 3 pm-5 pm Monday - Friday), so we had pretty good deal. You can enjoy a personal pizza and a beer for just $6! Additionally, all drinks and starters are half off during this time. Here's what I've tried:BBQ chicken pizza: quite good.Mexican corn: Incredibly tasty, especially with the butter-toasted bread.Cocktails: Enjoyable, with good-quality alcohol. Fell in love with Hand-shaken agave mojito - my type of drink which is sour, sweet and refreshing.Service is five stars. The waiter was exceptionally attentive, friendly, helpful, and polite, leaving me with no complaints.”
“Really an excellent Taco Bell - friendly staff, clean, good music and the patio outside is probably fantastic when the weather cooperates. I would fix two things here - first, from outside there is a wall facing the gas station with a fence and graffiti. I thought it was abandoned when I got here! Second - chicken quesadilla had a touch too much sauce on it.All minor complaints because overall I would rate this Taco Bell really high relative to others. Great job!!”
“Can't beat the original chili cheese dog ? the service is nothing to write home about, not to say it's bad. The parking lot/drive thru is weird if you don't come in through the "right" way.”
“If you have to have chicken then Pollo Loco is the best place. As far as "fast food" restaurants this is the place. This particular location is one of the last ones in the neighborhood so do not hesitate to go there and go often!”
“yummmm i love this. hai nam chicken is my comfort food. i ordered the original and it was bombb. i will say, if you're not a fan of eating foods that tend to be more plain, then it might not be for you.they come with a sweet and spicy flavored sauce, it's pretty good.in my opinion, rooster and rice is overlooked because it's located right next to ramen nagi and marugame, making it look hidden.but try it, it's yumm”
“This was my first visit to any Carl's Jr. I'm quite a while, I'm guessing a few years at least. The only purpose for coming here was it was the closest fast food type place from my work location. Having looked at the menu online ahead of time allowed me to familiarize myself with their most recent menu items.Since my lunch break is typically around half an hour, I didn't want to take top long as traffic around 5pm weekdays in the area can take time. I opted for the spicy angus jalapeno burger, side of jalapeno bites, and a soda for my meal. Ordered at the drive thru, there was little wait. One thing that shocked me a bit was the total cost of the previously mentioned combo meal- over $17 incl. tax! Having tried most of the major fast food places, CJ's definitely tops the list of the most expensive, when comparing it to other major burger places in the area. The food itself was very good, and exceeded expectations as far as flavor and quality is concerned. Having never tried these menu items before, I thought they were quite delicious. Was it worth around $17? Not sure, but even though the quality of the food was there, this definitely wouldn't be something I'd be getting regularly. Maybe once every other week or so.Overall this location gets a good rating for the food & service, I docked a star due to the high cost comparing to other similar establishments.”
“The customer service is awesome. Even when they get difficult customers they always keep a smile on their face. I come here once a month for my 2 youngest children. I would recommend it!”
“The location was very slow at the time we went, probably because it was the weekend and most surrounding buildings were businesses. It's a corner location and you can enter from either street and they have a drive through also. Staff was polite and they accept NFC payment here.”
“I’ve been always ordering a plain bagel with cream cheese. And this is the fourth time forgot to give a cream cheese. I know you guys busy but please check before put it to pickup station. Thank you.”
“First time visiting this BK location. Used drive-thru. Ordered an original chicken sandwich combo (2 sandwiches, 2 small fries, drink for $7.99) using the coupons in the mail and added cheese, onions and pickles. I also ordered a fish sandwich without the bun and asked for tarter sauce on the side. They gave me the lettuce, pickles and fish patty but no sauce! I was so disappointed. Luckily I had mayo at home. Next time I'll check before I leave.”
“Came her for breakfast around 9:30 am. Was really craving a breakfast sandwich. Other fast food breakfast sandwiches always give me a stomach ache. Food came out nice and hot. Coffee was at a good temperature, not too hot but not luke warm either. Enough to drink in gulps. The lady up front who took my order was super nice. Didn't catch her name, but whoever worked cashier on the day i posted this in the AM. Thank you ?”
“Pretty solid burger spot here in the Santa Clara area. The “smash burger” is not at all smashed, but it is still pretty tasty.A surprise hit for me were the mac n cheese balls. They were extremely good with the ranch dipping sauce.”
“I recently had the pleasure of trying the non-chicken slider sandwich at this establishment, and it was nothing short of delightful. The sandwich was flavorful and satisfying, a perfect option for those looking for a delicious plant-based meal. The fries were a standout as well; cooked to golden perfection, they were the ideal complement to the slider. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Their attention to detail and genuine care for customers was evident, and it made a lasting impression. In summary, the food and service at this restaurant are both top-notch. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal accompanied by outstanding hospitality.”

“There are those places and people that make experiencing life a surprise and a pleasure. For this Kenny's Cafe hits on both accounts. Never been here and don't know Kenny but its clear he's one of the good ones. New or old resident, come and visit, enjoy.”
“I gotta say for a food truck these guys are pretty top notch. I went with 2 steak tacos, 2 chorizo tacos, and a chorizo cheese taco. I washed it down with a Mexican Coca Cola and it was simply amazing.Parking: They're located in a private parking lot. I suppose you could park there. They also have a few picnic tables with a tent under them if you want to sit down and eat.”
“Get the large Froyo to share, no regrets, seriously huge! My wife and I really enjoy the alternating 'Carbolite' flavours (sugar free)There always seems to be a good peanut flavour available. Always worth the drive :)”
“Amazing food as always. Cool robots that bring out your food too! I love that it serves comfort food and alcohol at the same time rather than just bar food.Parking: Parking spots are tight if you have a big vehicle and usually crowded but people come and go very quickly so you can always find a spot opening up by circling around.”
“Tried the crème brulee toast, and it was really good with a smooth and tasty layer of custard on top. The strawberry fever toast reminded me of a fancy strawberry shortcake, though the toast was a bit tough and thick, had to use a knife to make it easier to eat. Swapped the standard ice cream flavor for chocolate since I saw it as an option on the self order kiosk, and it was awesome. The popcorn chicken was yummy. The "mild spicy" was spicier than I expected (it's unclear whether "little spicy" is more or less spicy than the mild). The fruitiness in the strawberry smoothie was strong. 75% sweetness was too sweet for me, and the smoothies are not milk based so it was just really sugary and tart, but still good. It took about 5-8 minutes for the drinks and 15 minutes or so for the food. Ordering off the kiosk in the front was easy, and staff was available behind the counter ready to help as well. The place is small. Arriving around 7:30, we found seating, but after 8pm on a Saturday, it definitely got crowded. We had no problem finding parking right in front of the entrance. A pleasant experience overall. Cool spot for light snacks, dessert, and tea.”
“I’ve lived in the neighborhood for about 4 years and took way too long to finally try Annie’s! I was immediately greeted by nice ladies and ordered and served very quickly at 1pm on a weekday. I got a grilled pork Banh Mi & a thai iced tea. Can’t wait to come back and try more items!”
“Solid 5/5 ramen shop in san jose. Tried the spicy men-bei ramen (house speciality) and it was just too good. Soup is delicious and the noodles weren’t too thin or thick. Def coming here again. It’s right next to the costco.”
“So much deliciousness in our order, from the Garlic String Bean to the Shanghai Pan Fried Soup Dumpling (6) to the Har Gow Shrimp Dumpling (8) to the Pork Dumpling W. Napa Cabbage ALL EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. However, the Salt & Pepper Fish, though very tasty, had an oddly sweet-tasting batter - just weird. But overall, this place serves amazingly good food.”
“The better Japanese street-food style udon in the area. I've had this in Japan, the noodle and beef tastes very authentic. Broth a bit different, but it's the closest you can get.Noodles are freshly made, the broth tastes refreshing, and the beef is the correct taste. Portion size is perfect and the value/price is great as well. All the sides taste very authentic and good, and value is great too.Much try if you like udon, and there is another great udon place right across it. And it's actually good food In a shopping mall? Say what?”
“I ate at World Wrapps in the Mercado Shopping Center today -- the steak and shrimp fajita; it was tasty and consisted of four substantial fajitas. The price was modest – about $15+ tax and tip. Their menu consists mostly of wraps, bowls, fajitas, and quesadillasThe customer orders at the cashier/counter and an employee brings the food to your table. There are only a few tables inside with more outside. There is plenty of free street level parking in the Mercado Shopping Center. World Wrapps is just a few doors down from the AMC theater.”
“If you're craving a burger this is definitely the place to come to!! SO much variety and they make their own chips and provide free pickles which are very refreshing to add to your burger!! Went here for a dinner with friends before a comedy show and I love that they're open all day so we could head over for an early meal before our 7pm show in Santa Clara! The person taking the order was so friendly and the process is so easy with the huge menus - easy to read and with SO MANY choices - burgers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, tons of sides to pick from in different sizes. And their drink selections are great - I LOVE diet dr. pepper which many places don't serve so I was super happy!!! The drinks are a self serve which is super helpful. They don't leave out napkins but servers walking around are happy to provide extra for you when you ask. So you order - get a number - find a table (which there are many options with high tops, regular seating, bar seating, outdoor seating... The food comes out fairly quickly and it's DELICOUS!! We got the ABC Burger which has avocado, bacon and cheddar cheese! My friends got it and devoured it. They said it was really good... They also enjoyed their sweet potato fries! Love the waffle shape and they had different dips they provided which were delicious. I got the Havarti Shroom! SO GOOD - especially when you add in the pickles! Hubby got the Seared Ahi Tuna Sandwich which he also devoured - having the skinny crispy fried onions provided a lot of texture and flavor. I may have to get that myself next time. And we shared a side of onion rings - crispy - wasn't oily tasty with a super light batter. For a "side" they give you a lot... I also added pics from our first visit there when they first opened. I got the short rib grilled cheese sandwich! OMG DECADENT... I LOVED that sandwich and SO filling! Hubby went completely opposite and went healthy and got the falafel wrap which he enjoyed - was light and tons of veggies with the falafel. LOVE this place - service is great - friendly and fast. and FOOD and options! hands down the BEST!! I love they give you so many options - decadent to healthy!! Our go to for burgers and sandwiches and just American classics for SURE!!”
“I was introduced to Vietnamese Che about 10 years ago and it has been one of my favorite desserts ever since. My typical order here is the #1 "Bambu Special." My other order is the coconut milk tea with boba, which might be the most delicious drink on earth.”
“Love this place for awesome sandwiches with fresh ingredients, best of breads and yum foods. I had a prosciutto chicken sandwich and it was one of the best that I ever had.”
“Dinner with friends craving falafel and kebbeh. We also ordered chicken kebab with rice and hummus as well as 3 kinds of dessert. The chicken a little dry but the kebaband kebbeh pretty tasty. Dessert was fun too.”
“Huge overwhelming menu. Huge overwhelming portions. What else do you need?Great, authentic tasting Filipino food here. I recommend the silog plates, especially the one that lets you sample a few different meats. Comes with garlic rice, fried egg, and veggies. Lumpia was tasty too! Also they make some nice Asian flavor mimosas (think lychee, mango, etc).Go check it out!”
“Best Sushi place in the area! Their rolls are delicious. My favorite ones are Overtime, Cabo Mark, Someday and Hot Mango, just to name a few. I almost order the same rolls every time because they are so good.”
“Great authentic Korean BBQ. We preferred the beef more than the pork. The service was absolutely amazing. This might become one of the better Korean BBQ places. The seafood pancake is highly recommended - so fresh and ”
“Pretty solid Korean food. The best thing they have in my opinion is the seafood pancake… it’s huge and crispy. The other dishes here are pretty expensive for what they are but I do really like the hot stone bibimbap. Service can be pretty nonexistent after they seat you i.e. would not expect a water refill or banchan refill :(”

“I gave it 5 stars, but I wish to give this place 10 stars. It looks very small and nothing special but You just don't understand. The food is delicious. You can't even compare it with anything. You have to eat everything that they have on the menu. When You will do it You will not regret that You choose them because they are simply the best.”
“Went to Pedro on Saturday night got there about 8pm no waiting and a nice table had a great dinner and drinks.services was fast and the food came to our table hot.overall the services was outstanding”

Ondam
“This is my new favorite Korean place after my first lunch visit. Parking is not difficult inside a plaza. The odd green and white banner sign makes it easy to spot. Once inside, the decoration is comfortable with Korean elements but not overly exaggerated or extravagant. It feels earthy, down-to-earth, and calm. The menu has a broad range of Korean food, and Sot Bap is the first time I have seen it in the Bay Area! It's kind of like Chinese clay pot rice, but it's cooked differently with different cooking devices. We were served hot tea, and our waitress was courteous, making eye contact and smiling. We were not rushed at the end of the meal and stayed chatting even after we finished eating. The 6 banchan we had were tofu and soybean sprouts, kimchi, broccolini with sesame seeds, pickled radish, macaroni pasta with corn and ham salad, and a spicy-looking bean paste. I like that the selection was evenly split between spicy and non-spicy options. I do hope the Banchan replacement is more frequent (we did not get any). We ordered Seafood Pancake and brisket Sot Bap. The seafood pancake is not as doughy or thick as what I used to see, but it is flavorful, not greasy, and the dipping sauce gave it a flavor up-pick without going spicy. It's good. The brisket sot bap came with a seaweed soup that is flavorful with some peppery kicks, a hot metal container with rice at the bottom, and all ingredients on the top (pickled yellow-reddish, dried dates slices, thin brisket slices. I was hoping the briskets would be in thicker cuts; however, they are very soft and mixed well with the rice. They also give you a sauce, which is sesame oil and soy sauce, and ask you to mix it in the rice bit by bit. Unlike the Chinese clay pot rice, this metal pot is super deep! I had to really dig and stir to mix it well, and I was a bit worried that there was not enough sauce to go with the rice. Luckily, the rice tasted with flavors (not sure if it was preseasoned or from the limited sauce). The dish was delicious to an Asian stomach, and by the time we dug to the bottom of the rice, a nice layer of crisp had formed, just like the Chinese clay pot rice. I wish they throw in an egg for this kind of dish, which they do, but with $2 extra. At the end, they gave out a small Korean cookie to complete the meal. The cookie is a bit sticky and not my liking. I would happily take the Yakult. In all considerations, my first visit was almost flawless and I am already planning a second visit with my family.”

“Great food and helpful, friendly staff. Visiting from out of town and my daughter suggested this place. Definitely four stars.Parking: Sunday night, so there were parking spots.”

Leichi
“Stopped by Leichi since it is close to me now that I've moved. Made a reservation a few hours before. Two of us ordered:-tako wasa $9, pretty good appetizer-sashimi 6 kinds $35.50, decent variety-nankotsu $9, chicken cartilage, really enjoyed it-nasu dengaku $9.50 egg plant, definitely avoid, almost too saucey to eat-tongue grill $15, fun to have a grill come out. Tasted ok.Overall decent meal. Will want to try their treasure box in the future.Parking is easy to find in the plaza.”
“I think Chungdam is one of the best Korean restaurants in the Bay Area. Understandably its price reflects that ranking.I think its decor is the best. It feels very much like a high priced Korean restaurant. In terms of food, I think only 10 Butchers has better Korean food. But it has more variety, especially vegetarian dishes.Service is good. The BBQ meat is all grilled for you as one would expect when you're paying prices like $85 for kalbi.”

“Happened upon the restaurant when we were on the hunt for good Korean BBQ. The atmosphere is understated, but food and service was amazing. Truly! The beef was so tender and the banchan was A+. There were 3 very kind employees (owners?) who were so attentive and made it a very enjoyable experience.”

Tobang
“I have been here several times. It is Korean BBQ and regular traditional food. I like the steamed eggs, fried rice and the rice cake.Nice side dishes ,and delicious beef smll intestine .If you are finding a place to gather with your friend or family,it is a good place!Btw, Korean aunties were really nice, they always came to check us if we needed something and helped us grill the meat:)”

Roll House
“Much better than any other kimbap I've had in the bay area or even Seoul. Good flavor, not too much rice, rolls stay intact, side dishes are great.Best rolls: tuna, spicy pork, spam.”
“Nice hole in the wall spot for a busy plaza. We came by for a late dinner around 8:30PM. No one was there when we ordered, but halfway through our meal, a few other folks had dined in.We ordered two tofu stews, one beef and one seafood. Good tofu stews. Sides were good and staff was friendly to refill.Parking can definitely be busy during peak hours.”
“Nice upscale seafood bar and hang out spot. The atmosphere is chill, the staff is super friendly. I got the fish and chips with an old fashioned to drink. The food was flavorful, the fish was fried perfectly, it was not over cooked like other spots. The fish itself was fluffy and soft. It also came with some coleslaw as well. The cocktail was good. Decent pour, just the average amount of bourbon. Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you got a group of family or friends just wanting a chill spot to hangs out and have good seafood!”
“Pretty good Maharashtraian food. Loved the sabudana vada and sukha chicken. kandha bhaji, kothimir vadi, vada paav and paneer rajhans r okay. Loved the poori, Piyush wasn't upto my taste. Paratha seems like frozen. Harwa chicken is a hard.pass.Tawa chicken is okay, bharli waangi is meh and so is bajra roti. Kolhapuri chicken is spicy - argh not.for me!Chicken biryani is decent but dry for my taste.”
“They seem to have finally sorted things out here. They xfered ownership awhile ago, then the plandemic so... I ordered shrimp tempura appetizer, salad, Hamachi sashimi app, and ca rolls. Everything was very good. It's back up to the quality that's kept me coming back for 30+ years. The way they bag stuff is clunky. Staples... like 5 to close a little bag lol.”

B N Chicken
“Chicken ginseng soup was exactly what I was looking for on a cold day. Portion is enough for 2 people. A whole spring chicken with stuffed sticky rice. Chicken slightly on the dry side. The side portion of clear noodles was chewy. The menu is pretty small, specializing in chicken soup. Not too ideal for vegetarians.”
“I had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and informative, making us feel right at home. They even went out of their way to ensure the child in our group had a great experience, providing a fun kid's plate and sprinkles on their ice cream. As for the food, it was amazing! The roti and drunken noodles were particularly delicious - definitely must-tries.Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and warm hospitality.”
“Highly recommend doing a reservation as the place is small and always packed. Parking is a bit cramped as well. Overall the ramen was delicious. Broth was creamy and flavorful. Service was good too.”
“Service- 5/5Food- 5/5Ambience- 5/5Owners- 6/5Happy Index- 10/5Masala and plain dosa regularly servedPlain naan, butter naan and garlic in breadsTea and lemonade in drinksPerfect buffet. Must try.”
“Genuinely great coffee. They stand out. Great flavor, never acidic or bitter. Incredible owners. Kind, welcoming, and hospitable. I can’t recommend Cosmic Coffee ”

Jang Mo Jip
“Food quantity ok but quality not worth the price.Long version: Ordered a combo of brisket, pork and tenderloin. Definitely enough food for 2. Around $50 per person. The meat quality is a little subpar.TBH I prefer 10 butcher, which only cost $20 more per person, but provides much, much better quality beef.”
“Have been going here for a couple years now and it’s always delicious and fast service! We love trying the different bentos. The deluxe braised pork bowl and popcorn chicken is always my go-to!”

“No salad bar, but we were able to get unlimited, pre-packaged portions of kimchi / daikon / coleslaw as we wanted. We went at around 630pm on a weekday and it was very empty.”

“I had 'bossam' and beef spicy soup with mandu. The food taste was good and there were plenty of parking. No waiting! But the price of them was quite expensive. I guess it is how San Jose restaurants are nowadays.”
“One of my go to quick shawarma cravings. The portions are always good. Butter chicken shawarma is the best on the blocks. I eat all of it and it stuff my belly. The mango shake is the best after a warm meal. Try it, you will like.”
“I was killing time in Valley Fair and have always heard about Ox 9 Lanzhou Handpulled Noodles and loved they had a location in a mall food-court! I ordered the Lanzhou Handpulled Noodles Soup with the medium round noodles. The noodles and meat both tasted very fresh, and I loved adding the chili oil to the broth. There weren't that many people in line when I went, so my food came out very fast. I wish my area had malls with food courts as good as Valley Fair!”
“Firoillo's is a very sweet surprise! Tucked away in a little corner between San Jose and Santa Clara you will find this little gem. Reservations are recommended. Please do yourself a favor and try it. I ordered their Linguine and Clams with white sauce and it was hands down the best I ever had! I've ordered it in a lot of different regions of Italy and this was the best for me! My sister-in-law had a gluten free seafood pasta, my daughter had veal parmesean, my other daughter had Chicken Parmesean and my mom, well...I can't remember, but it was all amazing.”
“This is my favorite spot for Indian food. My wife loves it too. We've had a la carte and the buffet. My wife first tried it at work- her indian coworkers ordered it for a team lunch. The buffet is really good. There is a wide selection and the food is fresh. They always refill the food promptly. My favorite is the tikka masala. My wife loves the butter chicken. There is also some indian dessert, but we've never tried it.When ordering a la carte, we typically order the lamb curry, orka and onions, and naan. There are two sizes so be sure to clarify which one you want. The price is fairly expensive compared to other places but its worth it. I brought food over to my mom's house for sunday dinner and everyone loved it. There is plenty of seating- booths and tables. The place is fairly clean. The bathroom is super small so make sure you go before coming in- its not the cleanest bathroom.”

“My family I been there a couple times, we all enjoyed. Nice ambiance and good service. We also liked the food. Their desserts are to die for. Definitely we will be back.”
“Absolutely outstanding Indian flavorful food. The restaurant is very upscale and the food is so damn good! This was our first time visiting this restaurant and we went to have dinner to celebrate my birthday. James was our server and he was so polite and helpful picking the right dishes for us. We tried tomato basil soup and manchow soup, both were amazing. Paneer takatak is a must have and sham savera is their signature dish so don’t miss out on them. Also, we tried nizami tarkari biryani and we absolutely loved it, it’s an Avadhi type of cuisine and you will be blown away by the flavors. Since they know it was birthday, they also got me a birthday treat. Last, we tried their shahi tukda and it was perfect to end our meal with a sweet dish. We will surely be coming back. I highly recommend you try this place!”

La Casa Mia
“Super cute small place. Doesn't look like they can accommodate large groups bigger than 4 easily.I like their risotto and their salmon mushrooms pasta the best. Noodles are chewy and nice. Flavours are all very nice and balanced. The lunch combo I don't think is that great because the soup and salad aren't very good.I would skip the bruschetta. The only one that is fine is the iruka one; the rest seem like something you can assemble from Costco ingredients. They're small and expensive; at 4 dollars each a sampler platter is 16. Just get takoyaki.Servic was very good and servers are attentive.”
“2023 has been a strange year, somehow me and my good friend both found gainful employment. And said gainful employment is a 12 minute walk from each other. So when you and the guy you drink with happen to be work neighbors, it only makes sense to go bar hopping during your lunch breaks. They have a 8/10 burger here, plenty juicy, plenty cheesy. And the fries arent bad. the ranch is different but also not bad but might not be what you're completely used to. Service was super nice here though, but I wasnt the biggest fan of the beers, felt the one from oakland had too many hints of curry flavor which really threw me off. Feel this place would be bustling after work though. Like really packed with workers from all the nearby offices.”
“We stayed at the Embassy Suites while in Santa Clara on business and we were so happy we gave this place a try! We didn't eat food we had cocktails from the best bartender we ever met! Her name is Mimi and she's a true professional. All I'll say is every drink we had she absolutely killed it. We look forward to coming back! Get you a Mimi's Starbucks and Mimi's Amaretto Sour you'll thank us later!”

“The vegetable jhol momos are extremely fresh. Jhol is light yet very flavorful. Use of fresh herbs really makes the dish a must try. It is not on their menu but you can ask then for it.”
“Mall: 5 starsNew Anti-Pet Policy: 0 starsParking: 3 stars Only mall to charge for parking outside of SF. At least the first 2 hours are free. But there are no elevators in the new parking garage so you will have to dangerously climb up the ramp to get to your car after hours (restaurants outside of the mall close after mall hours). Ground floor parking is only for curbside pickup.I've been a patron of the mall for over 40 years. The mall is now stunning after the completed expansion. I love walking around with family, friends, and my furry friend in his stroller and exploring all the stores and mall offerings. As of recent, however, the mall's new pet policies have deterred me from doing much shopping there. I'll drop buy once in a while to complete a merchandise return but will otherwise shop online or at more pet friendly locations. I love dining at The King's Fish House and several other restaurants that offer outdoor seating because I have a small dog. I was just contacted today by The King's Fish House after making an online reservation and notifying them that I have a dog in a stroller. Valley Fair is clamping down on restaurants located outside the actual mall and no longer allowing them to serve patrons with pets in their outdoor patio. I've been dining there with my furry friend ever since the restaurant opened. Westfield has become very pet unfriendly. It's one thing to ban pets entirely from inside the mall (it's unfortunate that some pet owners have ruined it for the rest of us by not cleaning up after their pets), but it's going way too far by not allowing restaurants located outside of the actual mall to serve patrons with pets in their outdoor patio. I am not aware of any restaurants with outdoor seating in the entire City that does not allow dogs. While San Jose City and Santa Clara County (HSC Section 113903) allows restaurants to serve patrons with pets in their outdoor patios, Valley Fair is banning this practice outright.I think management should have taken a softer approach with their pet policy. This Mall has been in San Jose City forever and has always been pet friendly. I would have tried posting signs asking pet owners to clean up after their pets first and maybe even requiring all pets to be contained (i.e., stroller) like at the airports. An outright ban at all Westfield Malls only serves to alienate pet owners (over 57% of Californians own pets) and turn away potential business.”
“?Yosenabe $19The store owner said that the soup is made from bonito, scallops, and kombu, and it tastes very light. Think about it from another aspect, so we can also savor the original flavor of the ingredients?!There are many kinds of ingredients, including seafood, chicken, tofu and vegetables.I feel like this pot has relatively high requirements for ingredients. I really don’t like this one. It doesn’t have enough freshness and no dipping sauce. Although it’s healthy, it’s really tasteless.?Chicken Kara Age $8.5This family may advocate healthy eating. Even Tang Yang’s fried chicken is basically oil-free!So its fried chicken is not crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside!”
“This would be my go-to spot for korean kfc if it wasn't so far from me. They have both wings style and also whole chicken. I prefer wings and yang nyum sauce but their original chicken is also very good. Soju and beer are served and the owner Peter and his staff tend very well to customers. Radishes cost extra, their chicken to-go still tastes divine and hits the spot for those cravings. Their tteokboki and sausage on sticks are delicious and tteokboki are crisp and served on skewers. Highly recommend!”
“Space was a little cramped, but it made the meal more cozy. Great selection of meats and the side dishes such as the rice balls and buckwheat noodles were excellent.”

Mission Cafe
“I was told about this gem across the street from our office by a leasing representative. Reading the old reviews five years ago, there were comments about the food being overpriced. They must've not ever raised prices, as in today's inflationary environment, it is a steal to get an eight dollar hamburger or a five dollar hotdog. The service was just ok but at these prices I could car less. Great value and convenient!”
“Amazing authentic cantonese food. Originally called "Cooking Papa". Not sure how to describe the experience. I have been here multiple times. It is Hong Kong style home style cooking with so much more. We ordered 8 different dishes (eggplant w/fish, sauteed peas sprout, spicy pork, roasted pork belly, stir fry (including lotus root, black fungus, chinese sausage, celery, snow peas, mushrooms) spicy deep fried fish, congee w/fish, egg and sprimp over chow fun and singapore style curried noodles. I still do not know which dish was my favourite. 100% recommend.”
“Father and son run restaurant with amazing conversation and service.Food is fresh and awesome.Chat with the son about the English Premiere league and enjoy.Very happy and excited with my experience.Great food, service and conversation.”
“Julian was great! The service and food was excellent. Thank You to Ian who helped us move tables and make the experience even better. Huge Thank You to the whole team and a special shout out to Christian from Ohio!”

La Fontana
“This is an upscale hotel bar that I visited while staying here. They have a good burger and a good selection of drinks available. Their beer menu is not as extensive as possible but reasonable given that it's a hotel bar. The place is a bit pricey but there's not really anywhere else better in walking distance.”

BRUNDAVAN
“I went to try weekend buffet at this place with my friend today. Pleasantly surprised. Quality of food was great. Lots of option in veg and non veg. Appam and Naan were served to the table. The items were replenished frequently and one doesn't have to wait like in few buffet places. Top notch service with folks coming to your table taking request for breads and clearing plates. Overall excellent experience at a very reasonable price.”

Adobe Lodge
“Adobe Lodge made our wedding reception dreams come true! We got married in June 2023 and cannot imagine having our reception anywhere else. We got married at the Mission Santa Clara and so it was very easy to have our guests walk over to the Lodge. Cocktail hour and dinner were served al fresco and then we went inside for dancing and cake! It was great to coordinate everything thing through Adobe Lodge, specifically through Hailey, the Director of Catering. She helped up bring the vision to life ever since we booked the location a year before. All rentals are through their partner, so deciding on place settings and colors was very streamlined. We upgraded to bistro lighting and cannot recommend it enough. All of our guests LOVED the reception space! The surrounding Mission gardens brought such beauty to the overall space. “Definitely way too harsh reviews. The lobster was very tasty and feel like we got good value. A small bit of a language barrier when ordering, but nothing crazy. Good experience.”
“Hidden gem in Santa Clara. One of my favorite Korean BBQ places in the South Bay. Fast and efficient service, coupled with good quality meats (beef, pork, chicken, seafood) makes it a great experience every time. Can get smokey, though, so don’t wear your favorite outfit if you don’t want the smokey smell. Parking lot can get full, but there’s free street parking as well.”
“It tastes like the food I ate in the countryside when I was in elementary school. Overseas Chinese? Or, it looks like a restaurant run by Korean-Chinese people. The restaurant overall does not look clean. It's pretty delicious.”
“Baby back ribs were not fall-off-bone type, or maybe I should’ve ordered St Louis ribs.the bbq sauce on the side was delicious :)Oh something weird though was their seats at booths were pretty tall compared to height of the table…”

“We wanted to eat something different from usual weekend lunch so we went this place and was pleasantly surprised with the aesthetics, very clean, neat and spacious and very beautifully decorated.Coming to the food, there were a lot of vegetarian options. What we ordered was way too delicious to leave behind anything. I requested for warm water and they were kind enough to accommodate it.The soup was just relaxing and the curry puff reminded me of an Indian snack but the best part of lunch was the drunk noodles it was just awesome. So overall the place is definitely worth going back again and again.”
“Atmosphere is excellent everything is clean and visually appealing. They play soft instrumental music in the background but you can still hear the water feature clearly. The prices are similar to other middle cost sushi restaurants putting you back 15-20 for a specialty roll. The man who prepared my sushi was skilled, he was able to meticulously assemble my rolls with minimal handling, a testament to years of skill. The rolls were excellent 9.5/10 the rice is the perfect texture soft with just a hint of bite with a slight sweet flavor. The fish was good quality sliced expertly it wasn't chewy and tasted very fresh. They also have a variety of other "Japanese" dishes like karaage bowls for the family members that don't like sushi. Side note they have a weekday sushi deal that comes with a California roll and another roll from a limited list for about $18. Handicap friends be aware there isn't direct parking lot access it is a hundred feet or so from the parking lot but the walkway is well paved and spacious. A great establishment to eat at, if you want to introduce a friend to sushi do it hear, if they still don't like it I doubt they ever will!”
“Deep-fried dumplingGrillled pork bellySeafood scallion pancakeOur waitress was really nice! She showed us how to eat pork belly with lettuce and actually stuck it in our mouth for us Standard family style restaurant. Lots of food options and very authentic We had dinner here a few times with our friends, sadly with them moved out of Cali I haven't been in a while. Cheers”
“We stopped by here to grab a drink for the range. We ordered a couple of the IPAs and enjoyed them, along with the regular fries. It's pretty self-serve - you order at the bar and get a buzzer for the food. Solid service and solid drink and food. They have a happy hour starting at 7 pm the weekdays, and starting at 5pm on weekends. There's a ton of indoor and outdoor seating. On Friday at 5ish, it was busier than I've ever seen it but enough seats for a few more parties!”
“At Food Festival Court - 05/01/22 - Chicken Caesar Wrap Basket - All Season Dinner Meal - good wrap with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, dressing and breaded chicken pieces, and on the side/underneath wrap in paper basket french fries. - I liked it and would recommend it if asked what to eat at food festival court.”
“Open seating, full bar, functional dining room and nice bistro experience. You are inside the hotel, so keep in mind the clientele and purpose for having a restaurant located there. Our server, Kamir, was attentive, polite, and helpful in guiding us through the menu options. The food choices include a variety of options for light dining or full entrees. The food was well prepared in the hidden kitchen and brought out in a timely manner.”
“Cioppino, LA Galbi & Seafood pancake are amazing! We enjoy the food and service from the owner every time.We appreciate the busy yet smiling owner. We can tell the restaurant is short-staffed, but the food quality still doesn’t disappoint us.”

Hansung BBQ
“Kind staff, great food!Ssamjang and ssam(vegies) come as a default whereas you have to ask for them at some other korean bbq restaurants. It’s a bit pricey but the meat was tasty! Hansung galbi was very tender and delicious but ssaeng-galbi was a bit chewy.Cheese tteokbokki has a healthy taste(?) , no strong MSG style. And the cheese was sooo good!Staffs are so friendly but the pace of grilling was so fast that I had to eat in a rush somehow.Overall I ll def recommend Hansung BBQ to my friends!”
“It's been renewed and opened. The name has changed. I've never been there before, so I can't compare the taste, but I enjoyed it very much. I ordered bossam, sundae soup, and mixed soup. I ordered everything like this... I cleared everything except a little bit of bossam~!!It's been a while since I had really delicious Korean food.ㆍThe amount of mixed fish soup looks small because I took a picture while eating it, but we shared it with a family of 4.Enough amount~Good good!!”

“We ordered the army stew and fish cakes, two dishes made with cheap ingredients that I usually elect to cook at home because it just doesn't seem worth it to order at a restaurant, especially when sometimes they don't end up tasting that much better, if at all. However, I wouldn't mind paying for it here because they put it together well and it is convenient not to cook. The fried stuff we tried, gimmari and the seafood pancake were bland and had way too much batter. There was only one poor guy working the front but he really tried. The atomsphere is loud, dark, and we couldn't find him half the time. There are also black curtains around some tables and cardboard cutouts for kpop idols endorsing soju.”

Dae Bak
“I have been here many times over the years and it hasn't gone too downhill. Yes, the quality has taken a hit and the prices have gone through a steep increase, but it is still reasonable compared to the other soju bars in Santa Clara's Ktown. They have a nice selection of alcohol and offer soju in fresh fruits. I am partial to their coconut soju served in a coconut ? and the pineapple soju?.They have some basic side dishes on hand because who can go without kimchi for some of these dishes? but you have to ask for it. You may also want rice even though it could taste old but you're too drunk to care.I like their seaweed rolls with vermicelli because they fry it like spring rolls which is quite different from other places. I also recommend the spicy chicken with cheese and the seafood pancake. The kimchi fried rice is decent with the perfectly cooked egg but not the best. I don't recommend the army stew. It's hard to rate the service because it's not consistent. I do really appreciate the hours though, open until 2am everyday. It's popular enough that sometimes I have to wait for a table on a late night weekday. There are only a few spots in front of the store. The other spots are usually for the other stores unless they are closed. However, there is parking around the corner and in the back.”
“Mmm beergers. I got a beer n a burger. And a salad. Pretty fresh salad. The burger toppings were super good. I just wonder what theybare using for the patty. Hmmm. Idk. I found a nice spot to sit alone with my cell phone. Clean bathrooms.”

Tomatina
“We visited Tomatina with some coworkers after a week of on-site work. As someone who had never been to a franchise Italian restaurant before, I was initially skeptical about the quality of the food. However, my assumptions were quickly proven wrong. The inviting happy hour drew us in, and I decided to try a Negroni. As a connoisseur of them, I can attest that this one was truly great. Our table also ordered garlic bread and bruschetta, both of which looked absolutely mouthwatering. The garlic bread were puffy bread pillows smothered in garlic oil, super tempting that I unfortunately had to resist due to my diet. Nonetheless, my Mixta salad was a delightful surprise - it was fantastic, filling, and incredibly delicious. Everyone at the table agreed that all the meals looked good and were enjoyed. However, despite the food and drinks, the service fell short during our 1.5-hour visit. We were never offered a water refill throughout our meal, which was a noticeable flaw in an otherwise enjoyable experience at Tomatina.”
“I've came to Egghead Sando a few times but I recall it was slightly better in the past. But it is still a solid 4 stars because it's rare to have popcorn chicken styled sandwich nearby that taste pretty good.”
“So great food! I enjoyed apetizer much and main dish as well. But for me the main dish was a little solty though I liked the foods cause my solt level is quite low. I recommend this place for lunch.”

Truya Sushi
“Have been there on a Friday night , ordered 4 different kinds of sushi’s . Three were nice , one wasn’t that great. Price is fine , but they took long time to deliver the food”
“I love their acai bowls and there juices are good too. It's a great break to take when getting your hair done or just doing some shopping at the mall. I like the idea of eating fruits and veggies or drinking them and I trust the purity and freshness of Pressed Juicery.”

“Nice and quiet place. We go here often and live the vegetarian as well as non vegetarian food they make to order. Service is fast and take out is also quick and easy.Vegetarian options: Choices are good, large and healthy. They use less prepared sauces and less oil, something you don’t feel awefully full so one can enjoy the food more.”
“Our absolute favorite! Best roti bread bun EVER. Excellent service - They heat up the roti bun for us so it’s warm and crispy, wow, so delicious. We feel so lucky to live in the Bay Area where desserts we grew up eating are available to us. Thank you!”
“4.5 STARS Unpopular opinion: Ketchup on eggs is BOMB! The way the sweet acidity cuts through the richness of the eggs got me feeling some type of way. I grew up eating it this way and never thought it got so much hate until several months ago. Just look on Reddit. What can I say, I eat like a 5 year old! Gilgeori toast aka Korean street toast takes it a step further...not only is there ketchup on eggs, there's mayo AND sugar. It may not be for everyone but if you love salty-sweet foods, it may hit for you. Sunny's To Go is an unassuming, hidden gem in Santa Clara's K-Town area. They're a mom and pop shop that's been open since 2016 (less than 40 reviews?!). I only noticed them when I was passing through and saw outdoor seating (same plaza as Dae Bak). They were formerly called "BBQ Lovers" and kept the old signage. There's a net screen in front of the door (keeps bugs out) so I thought they were closed but they're not. They're open for takeout and delivery. Everything is packed as takeout but there's some seating if you would like to dine-in. M E N U Korean fare and grab 'n go banchan. Catering available. F O O D * Gilgeori: K Toast w/ over easy egg, cheese, special jam ($6.75): --Add spam ($3.50) Korean street toast has been trending in the last several years yet it's so hard to find. There's different variations but it's usually griddled/toasted bread with an omelet, cheese, cabbage slaw, mayo, sugar, and ketchup. Sunny's homestyle take is an over easy egg with mozzarella cheese stuffed into a slice of fluffy soft white bread with a generous smear of sweet mayo (cut w/ condensed milk?) that's folded over. A pack of ketchup is provided on the side. Gotta add spam just cuz. The result? Hella delicious salty-sweet combo with an oozy, drippy yolk. Again, it may not be for everyone but we loved this! * CK Pop: Fried Chicken Bites w/ special Korean-style sauce (Small - $9): Hot and crunchy popcorn chicken bites coated in a yangnyeom style sauce - savory and spicy with a kiss of sweetness. Heavy on the batter but the flavor and heat were on-point. * Sunny's Bento w/ galbi steak, spam, kimchi, japchae, sesame broccoli, radish kimchi ($19.85): The galbi steak is boneless short ribs but on the leaner side cooked medium rare and tender. Served with a bed of rice crowned with pan-fried spam and banchan. All the banchan are made in-house and solid. S E R V I C E Humble, mom and pop shop with a sweet and accommodating owner(s). They said, covid has been hard on them and especially so because their storefront is easily missed. Visited for a late lunch so prompt food service. A M B I A N C E Hole-in-the-wall with two tables inside and three tables outside. P A R K I N G Limited parking in the microplaza but they have two dedicated parking spots in front. “Ordered here for the first time today, and these cookies are amazing! I ordered the chocolate chip and cookies and creme and they were both so good! Definitely will be coming back for more soon.”
“Great croissants as expected, tried the breakfast croissant with egg and Gruyere, matcha chocolate croissant. You can experience the care and attention to detail in every pastry. Too pricey as regular pastry shop to patronize but will come by occasionally.”
Say what?”
“This is my go-to spot for coffee meetings in the South Bay. Voyager has interesting and delicious coffee flavors, and they continually update their seasonal menu. The staff is super friendly. And the there's a chill, relaxed vibe.”
“Delicious hot chai latte - nice level of sweet and spice. Other stuff looked good. Very clean, nice staff!Would go back! But there was a yoga class and a painting class and the cafe which seemed like too much going on at once.”
“Delicious food and they have so many vegetarian options! Great service and nice atmosphere. We will definitely be returning. Wish I would have taken pictures of the food but no time for pictures when the food is this good!”
“Love this place for awesome sandwiches with fresh ingredients, best of breads and yum foods. I had a prosciutto chicken sandwich and it was one of the best that I ever had.”
