“We had the best brunch ever at Giwa Dining. The decor, service, and food were all immaculate. You can tell that they put a lot of thought into the restaurant and into training staff. The food truly stood out and everything we ordered was spectacular: black sesame toast (recommend asking for more black sesame paste and sauce), truffle egg sando, sweet potato fries, and fried chicken. We’ll definitely be back for the souffle pancake and cheesy hamburg steak (dinner only).”
“Have lunch with a friend at this restaurant based on a recommendation. The portions of the food are quite good but there is no Wow factor in the taste. Also, note that the mild spicy level of the food may still be a bit too strong for those who are not used to having spicy food. However, as the price of the food is reasonable, this restaurant is definitely worth coming again to explore the other dishes on its menu.”
“Super interesting menu for the adventurous. The plating was beautiful, very picture-worthy.
I will say, the price was a little steep for the type of meat and ingredients and the menu was pretty well-thought out but random. Not so cohesive of a menu it felt. But I really appreciated the creativity and the fact that this restaurant is serving foods like smoked
chicken gizzards for the more refined palate; there were provoking plates that deserve applaud.
The wine pairing was worth adding. 3/4 pairings were outstanding.
The ambiance was also homey but elevated, if I could turn my living space into this room I would. I think this was my favorite part of the restaurant. It was definitely a haven!
The service was neutral and rushed, but zero complaints whatsoever. Their policy of 48h cancellation is (as a customer) unreasonable, but they typically waive it if you are a first-time customer.”
“MONDAY FOOD REVIEW...PUESTO...6/17/24! After leaving California's Great America, we stopped for lunch at Puesto, a Mexican/American restaurant, located at 2752 Augustine Dr., in Santa Clara. This restaurant features Mexican dishes with an American flare infusion! I had their their Shrimp a la Plancha, which is Mexican shrimp, garlic butter, red onions, jalapeños, guajillo chile, avocado, and Tamarindo-chile sauce, and it comes with herb lime rice, black beans, and blue corn tortillas. This was absolutely fabulous!!! It wasn't your typical Mexican dish...the different ingredients they used to create this dish all blended together VERY well!!! If you are looking for a little something different to satisfy your Mexican food craving, and want some added flair, then this is THE restaurant to go to!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! My rating: 10++++”
Restaurants by Cuisine
“We discovered the place by accident and am glad we did. I had chhole bhature - they were savory and I loved them. Wife had seekh kabab wrap. She said it was the best she had in many years. Service by Jass was way above and beyond. Highly recommend..”
“Thoughtful gluten free options which are so hard to find. Clean, well run. Insane dessert crepe w Nutella and a ton of fresh fruit. Never would have known it wasn’t gluten-full. Berry smoothie w oat milk too, ‘cause we’re gluttonous. Highly recommend!”
“Delicious food and incredibly kind service!
They close at 2 PM, and I called at 1:50 PM to order. Even though I arrived after closing, she still prepared my food. It was raining, and she kindly invited us inside to eat and even gave us water.
We were very touched and gave her a chocolate to say thank you. The food was amazing and the service was even better.
Highly recommend. I will definitely come back!”
Restaurants with Delivery
“My first visit to Mikiya was shortly after they opened. The food and service were decent, but a 45-minute wait past our reservation time left a bad taste, figuratively speaking. I wasn't sure I'd be back.
I'm glad I gave it another shot. This time we came to celebrate a visiting friend, and Mikiya more than delivered. The menu has noticeably improved, we were seated promptly, and our server Zac was the kind of hospitality professional who makes a meal memorable. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing, his recommendations were spot on and genuinely elevated the whole experience.
It's clear the team has put in real work since opening. I'm signing up for the membership and already looking forward to the next visit.”
“New favorite restaurant! We went for Valentine's day, and I went again 2 days later. Definitely planning on making this a weekly restaurant. I love the kofta and the zaatar/cheese flatbread. I had the chocolate baklava, but plan on trying all of the desserts. The people who work there are really nice as well :)”

“Very very good food!Tried the lomo saltado and chicken a la plancha. Both were very good, for me lomo saltado was little more tasty. Regardless the food ia very good.
The restaurant is small and not fancy but the food makes it worth coming here! Portions are good size too.”

So whether you plan to do AYCE or add on the AYCD, you're guaranteed to be warmed up at this place.

“My family and I usually order it online and then go to pick up the order. Although we have never eaten inside the restaurant, we Have never had a problem when picking up our food. It has always been ready for us. The food is excellent! We recently just started getting their shakes, which are to die for.”

“You really can’t beat this In-N-Out location. Even when the drive-thru line is wrapped around the building, the staff here handles the rush with incredible speed and a positive attitude.
The food was exactly what you expect from the brand: fresh, hot, and made to order. My burger was perfect, and the fries were salted just right. Despite being one of the busiest spots in Santa Clara, the dining area was kept surprisingly clean and the service was top-notch. It’s the gold standard for fast food efficiency. Highly recommend if you’re in the Mission College area!
The line looks intimidating, but they move cars through faster than any other place in the valley.
The Location:
Perfect pit stop after a day at Great America or a game at Levi's Stadium.”

“This is one of the best poke spots in the South Bay. We've been coming back many times over three years. Portions are great, ingredients are fresh, and just downright yummy. I like that they let you choose up to three fish and while it's on the pricier side, I never feel like they're cheaping out on quality. We've met the owner a couple times and he seems like a nice guy - I hope this place stays open forever!”
“Absolutely the BEST food and service at Eurogrill! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed like family. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes sure everything is perfect. The food is outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and made with real Balkan tradition. The Ćevapi (house specialty) are simply the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled to perfection. You can truly taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. If you’re looking for amazing Balkan food and top-notch service, Eurogrill is the place to go. Highly recommend! I will definitely be coming back again and again. 👏🔥 Ketering was perfectly arranged!”
“I want to take my time writing this review to let the emotions sink in the best way i know how to describe them.
Upon entering, you are greeted with a calm, loving greeting that feels like you are truly appreciated supporting their business. This is extremely important in the USA. After that, you are asked if you have been there before, and if not, they explain the process to you meticulously and at a perfect pace. There is no feel of a rush. The feeling I get is they truly want you to enjoy their food and they want to make sure it is right.
The food is expertly cooked with a smile and warm hello from the cooks. While your food is being prepared, the gentleman makes sure your food utensils and preferences are met before your meal makes it out.
Every time i go here, its magical. I feel relaxed and so happy to support this business. A business that loves their customers is hard to find nowadays. Working in the airport is stressful, and this is my grounding point that makes that work stress just another day with a smile on my face. Thank you Su’s!!!

“We've come to the age where we value quality over quantity when it comes to food; gone are the days of overstuffing ourselves at AYCE locations. As a result, we're always in search of new restaurants where the food really hits the spot and leaves us feeling satisfied. One of my friends recommended Baekjeong, as it was his favorite and go-to kbbq spot in the bay area. I was able to book a same-day reservation for our party of 6, and we ordered 2 large beef combos. The staff cooks the meat for you, and provides around 6 banchans and 2 salad types. Our server was Risa, who was super friendly and attentive, and we felt right at home with her. She kept everything running smoothly and made us feel so welcome. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. Since then, many days have passed, but I'll have moments where I think back and crave the food we had at Baekjeong. I'm always looking forward to the next time I can come back.
Additional notes: Free wifi is available. Restaurant is on the exterior of Valley Fair mall. Parking is by the Stevens Creek parking garage with a short walk through the mall; most of the parking directly in front is only for the bank. Entrance is on the first floor, but restaurant is on the second floor with both stairs and elevator access. There usually is a host downstairs at the entrance to admit you, and you wait in the waiting room upstairs. They give a free soda to designated drivers!”
“This is a reallly wholesome, family-run Indian vegetarian restaurant. For $18, they have a very tasty all you can eat buffet. They bring to your table some fresh made chapati too. There is a delicious lemon pudding for dessert and also always fresh fruit. If you want some good home cooking, this is the place.”
“We had a solid Indian lunch experience at Jashn in Santa Clara. Apps hit the spot - good size, taste, and texture. Main however could've used a bit more Thai curry like they described, but still tasted good. Portions felt a tad small for the price - would love bigger mains for a more sumptuous meal. Naan and tandoori roti were spot on. Will return, to try the rose kulfi live-prep Xp @ the table.”
24 Hour Restaurants
“A small-ish place with not too many seating - but packs a punch!! 🥹
Delicious masala puri, churmuri(Bangalore bhel puri)! 🤤
I also tried the pulao but didn’t love it. Though, that is because my spouse’s mom makes the best pulao in the world! 😊
I’ll be stopping by to try more dishes when I’m in the area!”
“Tofu soups are ok. There quantity of tapas is a bit lower than Tofu Plus and King Tofu in comparison. The staff didn’t refill the emptied tapas dishes contrary to what the other restaurants would do. Prices are a bit higher too. Service is similar to the other two restaurants mentioned”

“My fiancé visited this location to today and it was wonderful l. The atmosphere was great, the food, absolutely delicious, and the service was great! Such a nice guy! Didn’t catch his name unfortunately but he was really nice. My fiancé and I will definitely be back.”
“It’s my first time bringing my kids to Valley Fair for shopping today, I discovered this ice cream shop is such a hidden gem!My son’s eyes lit up after the first bite , saying “this ice cream is amazing” I tried it too, really good! It’s become a must visit spot for us.”

“Our favorite go-to take-out and delivery pizza. Perfectly cooked crust, fresh and delicious ingredients and great salads delivered timely with all items you need. Pepperoni & D'lex chicken & bacon pizzas + a greek salad are our favs. And who doesn't love a heart shaped pizza on Valentine's - a dozen year tradition and counting.”
“The Stand is a really solid spot to grab some burgers and fries. Be warned, the chili cheese fries are a pretty hefty portion. Don’t overdo it like we did haha.
Their burger offerings are interesting, but you can also get a classic cheeseburger if you’d rather keep it simple.
The staff were friendly, and the space has TONS of seating. Definitely a good place to get lunch or dinner with a group.”
“My new favorite go to lunch spot! The food is delicious. Last three times I’ve been there this month Shyla has been my server, she is such a ray of sunshine! I’m spoiled now her section is the only place I’ll sit 😀.”

“It tasted like their ice cream is crafted on site. They were busy so I didn't ask. They do build the ice cream taco in front of you and then drop it in liquid nitrogen.
I am cheap so 7 bucks for my double flavor taco dipped in dark chocolate was a bit expensive, but it was a nice treat and fun to watch. It wasn't expensive really for what you get, I am just a cheapo. Lol”
“🌯 The Gold Standard for Authentic Shawarma
If you are looking for the best shawarma in the area, look no further than Shawarmaji. This place serves what I can honestly say is the best shawarma I have had to date. The meat is perfectly seasoned and slow-roasted to a juicy perfection, and the wraps themselves are incredibly hearty and filling. Whether you go for the chicken or the lamb, you are getting a massive portion that satisfies even the biggest appetite. It was so delicious that I found myself ordering a second one to eat before I even left the building—it is genuinely that addictive.
🍯 Fantastic Signature Sauces (That You Can Buy!)
The real secret to their success has to be the sauces. They are absolutely fantastic and elevate the entire meal. Their garlic toum is legendary—thick, creamy, and packed with that bold garlic punch that every shawarma lover craves. They also have a spicy shatta that adds the perfect level of heat without being overwhelming. A major highlight for me was discovering that they actually sell their sauces in-store. Being able to take a jar of that toum home is a game-changer for my own home cooking!
⚡ Exceptional Service and Friendly Staff
Beyond the food, the experience was made even better by the people working there. The staff were really friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Even though they were busy, they were quick to cook the food and took the time to offer great suggestions on which wraps and pairings to try. It’s rare to find a spot that balances high-speed service with such a hospitable and helpful attitude. You can tell they really care about the quality of the food and the satisfaction of their customers.
Filling Portions: You definitely get your money's worth here; one wrap is a full meal in itself.
Speedy Cooking: Despite the high quality, they manage to get orders out very quickly.
Pro Tip: Ask for extra pickles—they add a perfect crunch and acidity to the rich meat and sauces.
Authentic Vibes: The flavors stay true to traditional Jordanian-style street food, which is hard to find done this well.
👍 Overall Recommendation
Shawarmaji is a definitive 5-star destination for any food lover. The combination of superior flavor, friendly service, and the ability to buy their amazing sauces makes it a standout. It is the kind of place that you’ll want to visit again and again. If you haven't been yet, make it a priority—you might just end up ordering a second round like I did!”
“Wow, these little shops is what I look for when traveling. I have to buy some stuff at Safeway and saw this little sandwiche shop next to a cleaners. When I saw there was vietnamese sandwich ban me.I went there right away. I got Bahn Mi.Dac Biet. Great Great. A so good and full. Now price$10 , i guess its good for Cali. Im from TX. A bahn mi dac biet cost $6-8 in my neck of the woods. But great sandwich.”
“Mio Vicino is a Santa Clara institution. Consistently great food. Friendly atmosphere. It’s a Perry family go to place for sure! 😎👍🏼”
“Amazing food! Great service.
Got the lamb wrap and my partner got the mapo tofu combo with chow mein. Delicious and filling, served hot. Great alternative to waiting in long lines for the other restaurants around the corner.
Staff extremely kind and helpful!
Portions are huge, 1 dish per person more than enough for most.”

“I’ve been coming here for almost 30 years, hands down the best yogurt in Santa Clara county, the staff is usually friendly, except one guy. The biggest downfall is that we should be able to try a couple flavors to see what we like and don’t like before purchasing, I have purchased a couple times where I ended up throwing away my $9 yogurt because it didn’t taste right to me, had I been able to sample first I would’ve known not to purchase that flavor. Please allow samples again…..at least give a limit of 2 free ones, you’re not losing money by allowing a small sample Thanks for the Carbolite options they are a life saver on my healthy lifestyle goals”
“I hadn’t been to Nick’s before but it was convenient today, so I tried it! Wonderful!! If I would not-pick, my fries could have been hotter butnoverall everything seemed fresh and the staff was friendly - and the store was clean. I loved the music playing - kind of a vibe :)”
“First off, the staff is incredibly attentive. I was greeted by three different people within 5 minutes of sitting down! They made sure I had a drink ASAP and were kind enough to come over to where I was sitting and take my order, even though I'm pretty sure you go up to the counter to place orders.
The food is incredible, yesterday I had the burrito trio and today the breakfast burrito. Absolutely phenomenal!
Will be my go-to lunch spot going forward!”
“I love onigilly and this place has made it accessible to just get one when I needed it. This would be more 3rd or 4th visit at this point. Last night while at Valley Fair I suddenly felt faint-ish from hunger/lack of food. We were at Men's Macy's to shop for my husband but I had not expected to be there that long. From a distance inside Macy's, I could see the exit to the mall (planning my escape route - just kidding). I knew a onigilly could solve my hangry problem. I actually was prepared to pay approx $10 for one as that was what I recall paying before....but it was surprisingly a good price at around $3.99 (so I ordered two, to give one to the hubs). And then I got a reward to claim so when I added that reward one of my onigilly was credited. That was a nice surprise. Besides the pricing the onigilly was yummy and the seaweed crunchy. I got the tuna. It was a good proportion of rice to tuna. The line wasn't that bad, one person ahead of me. It was at around 8 pm.”
“This is the first time to dine in the restaurant. We ordered 3 items to share: a huge Omelette Rice, a curry rice and a ramen. Omelette rice was delicious, beef curry soup was different from others as it had only beef, no others. Ramen was also good. Good service, too.
*We went there the second time and ordered different items. The beef fried rice was so delicious. We also ordered a different ramen and of course, a huge Omelette rice. Wonderful!”
“This place has been here for a long time, I recall coming here to study and have pizza in 2005! Same consistency with the delicious pizza!! The chicken anything ones are my fav! The kids adore the Hawaiian pizza. And something about the ranch, is just one of a kind! Service is fabulous and so courteous. Leftovers are so good and fresh too… I totally recommend this place.”
“Finally made the 90-minute trek to Dave’s Hot Chicken with the fam! 🍗 The vibe was great—super friendly staff and a very clean spot despite the crowd. The chicken was fresh, hot, and delicious. Only downside was no cheese sticks today, but that just gives us an excuse to come back soon!”
“Lots of songs available and you can even use YouTube to look up songs that’s not in their karaoke system. They have songs in Korean, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Japanese and more!”
“First time there and the food was absolutely amazing - can not recommend the brisket”
“Tobang delivers a classic Korean BBQ experience with generous banchan, quality meats, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The staff keeps the table stocked, refreshes side dishes without being asked, and checks in at the right moments, which makes the meal feel smooth and well‑paced. Service is attentive but never intrusive, and the team moves with a steady rhythm that keeps the grill active and the table organized. It’s the kind of place where the grill becomes the center of the table and everyone naturally gets involved.
The food itself is flavorful and satisfying, from the sizzling cuts of pork galbi, cha dol baegi, and short ribs to comforting dishes like seafood tofu soup and kimchi fried rice. The seafood pancake is crisp and generous, and the Yakult at the end adds a fun, nostalgic touch. The variety of banchan keeps the meal balanced, and the mix of marinated and non‑marinated meats gives everyone something to enjoy. It’s a great spot for groups, casual dinners, or anyone craving a hands‑on dining experience with plenty of shareable dishes.
Overall, Tobang offers a dependable and enjoyable Korean BBQ outing. The atmosphere is warm, the portions are generous, and the service keeps everything running smoothly without rushing you. Whether you’re coming with a small group or a larger party, the experience feels communal in the best way, and the food delivers consistent flavor and comfort.”
“One of the best RAMEN 🍜 I have ever taste and highly recommended.”
“Great food! My moms first time and couldn’t stop raving about the chicken adobo and the halo halo. It’s pricey but good. And the staff is very nice.”
“Love this place. Have loved Dim Sum for many years. Now I have my go to place.”
“Above average sushi in a strip mall. They are known for their rolls, which are decent. Solid nigiri although limited. Good for a quick lunch. Checks all the boxes.”
“Our first time here and everything was delicious! We had the garlic edamame, salmon express and the spicy tails rolls and the salmon with lemon dill nigiri. So good!”
“Beautiful bartenders, greatest service the people there are so friendly and nice. Great environment to hang out relax and get to know new people and make new friends.”
“TabarakAllah the food here was just like HOME!! It was so delicious I can’t wait to go back again. You know it’s authentic when you see all the Auntie’s working hard to cook the food for everyone. You get a lot of food for a great price!! Definitely a great place to eat!”
“I gave the atmosphere three stars only because there's no soft upholstered features in the room so sound bounces off everywhere and gets amplified. if loud talker are sitting anywhere near you you won't be able to hear your dinner companions.”
“The tamalesis must have and must try! The best corn tamales I ever had in my entire life❤️”
“Very authentic flavors, reminded me of the times I ate at the ryoutei style restaurants in Japan! サーモンハラスの塩焼き - Grilled salmon belly 生うどん - Fresh udon noodle soup ユズ香る茶碗蒸し - Egg custard with yuzu with crab sauce on top イイダコの唐揚げ - Deep fried mini octopus”
“Rude and abusive owner, poor quality food, bad location, disgusting on the inside, slow service. There is better sushi at gas stations these days.”
“A family favorite we keep coming back to! The buffet is always satisfying, and the butter chicken is a standout — our kids love the flavor even though they can't handle spice (extra water helps!). Desserts are delicious, and the complimentary drinks are a lovely touch. The staff's honesty truly shines — I once left my purse behind and didn't notice for three days, yet it was safely returned to me. That kind of integrity says everything about this place. Highly recommend!”
“All the food is delicious, especially the shrimp. I'm so surprised by how big the shrimp is, and the sauce is incredibly tasty! We even saved some sauce for the Tang Su Yuk. The service is great as well! I will definitely be back soon!”
“Absolutely fantastic food and excellent service. We celebrated our Birthdays tonight, and the staff is amazing. Love their salmon sashimi and megura. Kyiv roll and honey walnut rolls were also delicious!”
“The aunties here are so sweet and are so very attentive/kind! Food-wise, they make a lot of their banchan from scratch and you can tell the food here has so much heart put into it. Maybe it's a good thing after all that we had an issue with our reservation tonight at that... other restaurant that starts with B and rhymes with pong... Found our new fave mom-and-pop kbbq spot! We will most certainly be back.”
“As far as food goes, definitely one of the best for HK type cuisine in south bay. Pecking Duck, Mongolian beef are definitely worth it here. Price can be a bit high but quality is nice and you get your food quick, unless you order clay pot rice which is also quite good.”
“Friendship BBQ is such a fun spot if you’re looking for a casual place with good food and a lively atmosphere. I really enjoyed the flavors — the BBQ/skewer-style dishes were tasty, well-seasoned, and perfect for sharing. The place has a comfortable, social vibe, which makes it great for going with friends or trying something different for dinner.
I also tried the IV beer, and it definitely made the experience more unique and memorable. The overall vibe felt fun and relaxed, and I liked that it wasn’t just about the food but also the experience. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re in the mood for flavorful BBQ and a chill night out.”
“Crispy seafood pancake not too greasy, great for sharing. The kimchi tofu soup lacked kimchi so I wouldn't get it again, but the dumpling soup looked better. A good place for a quick tofu soup in a rainy day. Nothing fancy. Just basic meal when you want good tofu soup.”
“Wide-ranging selection of delicious beer, and fantastic Detroit-style pizzas! As a New Yorker, I was hesitant to try Detroit style, but their pesto pizza blew me away - crisp edges, soft crust, fluffy cheese, and the little peppers really take it to the next level. Also great ambience and friendly, knowledgeable beertenders. I will be coming back!”
“I was misled by this restaurant’s name for a long time—I always thought it was a Chinese restaurant. But when I finally came here, I realized it’s actually a Korean one. My husband used to come here often before the pandemic.
Their black bean noodles are delicious, but that’s not really what I want to talk about. What truly stands out isn’t just the food, but the service. In today’s Bay Area, especially among Asian restaurants, it’s rare to encounter genuine service. You often end up tipping for people who simply drop off your food and disappear.
But at Beijing Restaurant, you’ll understand what real service feels like—and you’ll be happy to tip for it. Their servers focus on actually taking care of your needs during the meal, without being intrusive or using those overly scripted lines like, “How’s everything tasting so far?” that interrupt your dining experience. Their Mexican waiter is neat, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely comfortable. The female server, who has apparently been working here since before the pandemic, adds to that sense of familiarity and warmth.
Altogether, it gives the impression of a place with integrity and care—a restaurant that truly values its customers. I’m more than willing to pay for real service, and I’ll definitely be coming back again!”
“Both the service and food were excellent! The portions were generous and everything came out fresh and flavorful. We especially loved the appetizers—they were a great start to the meal. We ordered a few classic dishes and each one was well-seasoned and satisfying. Overall, it was a great dining experience and we’ll definitely be coming back.”
“this place is the bomb. food is just so full of flavor, all of it. totally recommend.”
“Quality, fresh variety of raw sashimi. The Omasake Sashimi, Kaisen Don, and Golden Hand Roll options are showstoppers!”
“Their Golden Monkey is an absolutely stunning black tea - truly head and shoulders above the others I've tried.
I look forward to trying the coffee”
“Came here for snacks and drinks with my Mother. The entire staff from both wait staff and management were top-tier. Everyone was so kind. The vibe was immaculate. Cannot wait to experience when the weather is warmer and the taco truck and barbecue pit are open.”
“Pretty average hotel. Giving it 4 stars given it included breakfast and happy hour. The bartenders and omlette maker were excellent and friendly. Other breakfast staff seemed less than thrilled to be there but overall went about their tasks and kept out of guests way. The rooms could definitely use some updating and the layout was quite awkward being right next to the stairwell. The room felt cramped and the bathroom small to maneuver in. Not sure if all rooms were that way but I'd suggest a different room. The hotel was reasonably close to some restaurants and easy enough to get around the area. Overall not a bad stay.”
“TLDR: Pricey but worth it for delicious Korean food. Service can be hit or miss, ambiance varies, but the dishes are flavorful. Favorites include the Kimchi Bossam and Tteokbokki.
I’ll be honest, this place is on the pricey side, but the food is consistently delicious every time I visit. The only downside is I can’t come as often as I’d like since the cost is higher than most Korean spots. Still, it’s worth it, so just a heads-up if you’re planning to come.
The service can be hit or miss. Sometimes attentive, other times you’ll need to flag someone down. The ambiance is usually laid back, though it depends on the day and crowd size.
Here’s what I’ve tried:
Kimchi Bossam (19 or 21) – Hell yes!
Seasoned Raw Crab in Spicy House Sauce (25) – Messy and complicated, but not the main event.
Tteokbokki – Delicious.”
“We really enjoyed the desserts at Jell and Chill. They offer unique and tasty Chinese Bing Fen-based dessert drinks that are vegan. I had the yuzu flavor, which was perfectly citrusy and sweet. The ordering system is easy to use, making the experience even better.
They don't offer sitting. However, there are plenty open settings nearby.”
“Fantastic menu. I enjoyed eating and my 2 daughters as well. Great place to celebrate life milestones.”
“Business dinner. We didn't have to scream or shout, but worth shouting about the food. We were surprised by the variety of flavors across the menu. I chose salmon and flank steak with corn and kimchee fried rice (wasn't expecting the egg). Everything had a great flavor. The steak was perfect! The salmon wasn't overcooked which is all too often a problem. I had a blood orange margarita to go with it all. Very good meal, would be happy to go back!”
“One of few restaurants who can consistently meet expectations.
Almost all pure veg restaurants drop quality 1/3 times. Brindavan in recent times have scored 8/10 times. Its not pure veg though.”
“Julie was our server and she is always amazing. The food is so memorable and distinct from any other restaurant. I deviated from my salmon Spaghetti to the Carbonara and loved it. Also tried 2 different pizzas and are I live with both and my all time favorite go to pizza still wins the mayo pizza, it's the best!! This restaurant is very special, cozy, and perfect for birthdays, office luncheons, or date night. Than you to La Casa Mia for providing excellent service and tasty yummy servings and a phenomenal place to gather 💖🤩”
“They have several gluten free options. Food and service were excellent!”
“Spent a week in MTV at the home office, and was recommended Jang Su Jang. It was a great mid week experience. Not crowded or loud. Had the Yookejang Mandooguk, and it was yummy.”
“This was a good restaurant with good service. It was your average quaint suburban Thai restaurant.
We were celebrating a birthday with a party of 5. It took a little time to get our food but not abnormally long. The food was tasty but not mind blowing.
I would go back for the basic offerings like red curry.
I didn't care for the surcharge minimum for a party of 5 or more, but I understand.”
“I had the shredded beef flautas w beans and rice and it was delicious 😋”
“Staff were very friendly! Patrick made the best margarita I ever had. The space indoors and outdoors were great. It was beautiful. Even other customers were nice.”
“I was so hungry after work so I’m thinking like good food, my spirit brought me to your restaurant. I ordered to go , Crispy Pata, Siningang pork, Panvit Bihon and Shanghai pork. Thank you, all the food are so good indeed. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻”
“Thumbs up:
- Easy, free parking
- Classy, quiet, and comfortable atmosphere
- Attentive and friendly service
- Steak was cooked as requested and with a nice chimichurri sauce
Meh:
- The accompanied shoestring potatoes were literally potato chips in shoestring format; really didn't pair well with the steak. Some veggies or polenta would have been much better.
- The key lime cheesecake was fine but not particularly tangy or memorable.
- Ow the lunch pricing. $60 after tax and tip for the steak entree + dessert (no drink), but this *is* in a hotel, so I wasn't terribly surprised.”
“If you go earlier around noon it’s still hot cannot cut into pieces. Sometimes it’s popular call and check if available before you go. But Pork feet taste really good though. Pay cash will be cheaper. $40”
“Went to the Buffet lunch today. The food was delicious and the choices - plenty. Good options for both . Excellent service.”
“Sandi's Cobbler Cup are awesome but she offers so much more. The gumbo and jambalaya is always fresh and taste great. Sandi is very professional and offers catering that's second to none.”
“i love tofu sea food soup so much.
realy friendly staff so helpful.
restroom is out side the restaurant and you need ask for the key but it clean restroom.
food was great it alway little salty.”
“It's an amazing and conducive place.. i like all the foods very delicious and affordable price.. so, to all people out there try it!!”
“This is honestly the best korean barbecue I've ever had. I went here about a year ago with a friend, and we truly had the best time. The gentleman serving us was kind enough to help us pick out some items, warned us not to fill up on the really tasty rice (because everything else we had was equally tasty), and we were not disappointed! The food was made by his family and he explained that they had extremely high quality meats, and you could tell. Our server even cooked the meats for us because it was a slower time of the day.
Then when his family went to eat dinner in the middle of the restaurant, as they do presumably every day, he even shared his own dinner with us, so we could try it. I honestly have never been so impressed with someone's service, that me and my friend (who have been servers ourselves) tipped him excessively and he deserved every bit of it.
Please support this small family business, they clearly put a lot of love into what they do, and like us- you will not be disappointed.”
“hands down my favorite kimbap spot in the Bay Area. It’s truly on par with what I’ve had in Seoul, and the vibe feels exactly like a local neighborhood restaurant in Korea.”
“Came here with some friends for late night Korean comfort food and this place slaps 🔥 tried the tuna mayo kimbab, spicy chicken wings, spicy rice cakes and dae bak fries. They were all really good, but you haveeeee to try the lychee soju!! So good!!!”
“Its a sports bar with wings! We were there Saturday night and a UFC fight was on the screens. Able to have conversation and enjoy our wings. Smoke eaters makes great wings. We had quite a variety between the 5 of us. There was a plate of lemon pepper tenders, Atomic wings, Buffalo wings, a chicken tenders wrap, a plate of lemon pepper wings and parmesan wings and a couple of baskets of fries. As advertised good wings and great food. plenty of screens so you can sit on any side of a table and see the fight. Bet its great here on a college or NFL football day.”
“The food was delicious 😋 and the service was excellent, I recommend this place for have a nice lunch or dinner”
“I ordered delivery from these guys. They have an awesome menu. You can personalize your calzones! They're super affordable for really good food. Check these guys out!”

“This was our first visit to Cairo Grill and we were very impressed by the quality of the food and variety! You’ll get the most authentic taste of Mediterranean foods there. And the rice pudding is a 10/10! You must try this for dessert! The grocery store is also truly unique and has a variety of products that you will not find anywhere else”
“This store appears to be mainly a cafe/boba /snack shop with some games and anime stuff.
I saw this store on my TikTok feed. I believe they have two locations in California and Pennsylvania. At least compared to the Pennsylvania stores TikTok’s, the California store feels a lot smaller in real life in terms of carrying “nerdy” or anime or gamer stuff for sale.
Cardshop Santa Clara is a few steps away though if you are looking for pokemon tcg or other card stuff though. Gametime hobby shop is a short drive if you are looking for used video games/tcg. I feel like those two businesses are more worthy of the “Gamers Heaven” name in Santa Clara.
With that said, I wish this business the best of luck. Just with what I seen with TikTok, i expected a bigger retail shopping store”
“Surprised by the mixed reviews . It was Fawken amazing. Grabbed a ham and cheese croissant 🥐 as well as a churro croissant 🥐 (if I remember right lol) A-M-A-Z-I-N-G . Low key surprised it wasn't bussy , it was rather late around 9 but regardless super good. Give them a try”
“I ordered a mango-orange-papaya smoothie. (you can mix and match from about 8-10 fruit options). For <$10 I got a large glass of some really excellent smoothie with exactly those ingredients + some ice. It was tasty, it wasn't too sweet, and it was a generous quantity. The only minor complaint was that the straw they gave was too short for the glass! (should've got a picture before consuming the whole thing but I forgot, picture attached just shows the serving size). Would definitely visit again.”
“My visit to The Ketli Chai in San Jose was a fun and flavorful experience, especially for anyone who enjoys Indian street food and authentic chai. The restaurant has a casual and modern atmosphere that makes it a nice spot to relax with friends or grab a quick bite.
I ordered a cup of their signature chai along with a couple of small snacks. The chai was rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced with spices, giving it a warm and comforting taste. The snacks were freshly prepared and full of flavor, capturing the essence of traditional Indian street food.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was quick even during a busy time. The menu also has a good variety of items, so there are plenty of options to try on future visits.
Overall, The Ketli Chai offers a unique and enjoyable dining experience with great chai, tasty food, and a welcoming vibe. It’s definitely a place worth visiting if you’re in San Jose and want something a little different.”
