About Kami Korean Kitchen

Kami Korean Kitchen is a must-visit for Korean food enthusiasts. Their signature dishes, such as jjolmyun, kimchi fried rice, and spicy kalguksu (knife cut noodles), are a hit among customers. The jjolmyun is a standout, featuring a perfect balance of texture, flavor, and temperature. The spicy level can be adjusted to taste, making it suitable for all palates. The restaurant offers reasonable prices, generous service, and individually packaged meals for takeout or dine-in.

Customers have praised the delicious beef kimbap and ramen rice cake, noting the effort that goes into making the food. The restaurant is a family-owned mini banchan factory, offering some of the freshest kimbaps made to order. The Ddukbokkee stew is highly recommended, with customers suggesting to add extra ramen noodles and mixing in fried rice into the leftover sauce. The casual and homely atmosphere, along with the attentive and warm service, make Kami Korean Kitchen a great spot to try authentic Korean snacks and meals, including instant tteokbokki, a rare find in San Jose.

I can always trust the side dishes (banchan) here. The seasoning is always spot on—they taste exactly as I expect, or even better! These side dishes have been a total lifesaver for my daily meals. Thank you so much for the delicious food!

Cozy family-run restaurant. Friendly welcoming service.

I went off-peak and one guy did the order taking, cooking (I believe), serving, and payment.

Food was comforting, like dining in with someone and their home cooked meal. Excellent.

Definitely worth a trip, especially non-prime time to get the most of the ambience.

Recommended and will be back.

This place has great Korean food(it is called Bunsik). And there are a wide variety of side dishes, and plenty of soups and main dishes. Most of all, the owner is incredibly kind.
