Not upscale by any stretch but great place for locals to hang out in a classic dive bar environment. Stellar DJs if you go on the right night.
I go at least once a month for the DJ nights. Staff is WONDERFUL and always a great & happy vibe. You always feel welcome there.
This is definitely a dive bar, but with a friendly vibe. We usually go to see a friend's band play, so I can't speak to other nights.
The bartender also seems to be the owner (and only staff), but she's friendly and the prices for beer on tap are reasonable.
Despite having no bouncer, I've never seen any problems.
