“MONDAY FOOD REVIEW...PUESTO...6/17/24! After leaving California's Great America, we stopped for lunch at Puesto, a Mexican/American restaurant, located at 2752 Augustine Dr., in Santa Clara. This restaurant features Mexican dishes with an American flare infusion! I had their their Shrimp a la Plancha, which is Mexican shrimp, garlic butter, red onions, jalapeños, guajillo chile, avocado, and Tamarindo-chile sauce, and it comes with herb lime rice, black beans, and blue corn tortillas. This was absolutely fabulous!!! It wasn't your typical Mexican dish...the different ingredients they used to create this dish all blended together VERY well!!! If you are looking for a little something different to satisfy your Mexican food craving, and want some added flair, then this is THE restaurant to go to!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! My rating: 10++++“

“Super interesting menu for the adventurous. The plating was beautiful, very picture-worthy.

I will say, the price was a little steep for the type of meat and ingredients and the menu was pretty well-thought out but random. Not so cohesive of a menu it felt. But I really appreciated the creativity and the fact that this restaurant is serving foods like smoked
chicken gizzards for the more refined palate; there were provoking plates that deserve applaud.

The wine pairing was worth adding. 3/4 pairings were outstanding.

The ambiance was also homey but elevated, if I could turn my living space into this room I would. I think this was my favorite part of the restaurant. It was definitely a haven!

The service was neutral and rushed, but zero complaints whatsoever. Their policy of 48h cancellation is (as a customer) unreasonable, but they typically waive it if you are a first-time customer.“

“You really can’t beat this In-N-Out location. Even when the drive-thru line is wrapped around the building, the staff here handles the rush with incredible speed and a positive attitude.

​The food was exactly what you expect from the brand: fresh, hot, and made to order. My burger was perfect, and the fries were salted just right. Despite being one of the busiest spots in Santa Clara, the dining area was kept surprisingly clean and the service was top-notch. It’s the gold standard for fast food efficiency. Highly recommend if you’re in the Mission College area!

“I love this restaurant, but it is NOT a sports bar. It's a restaurant (with good food!) with a square 'floating' bar in the front of the restaurant that has a few TVs that usually have sports on. If you want the divey, sports-bar experience, this ain't it.“

“AYCE Shabu Shabu with the bonus option of ALL YOU CAN DRINK! I love that this place has a 3-compartment pot for the broth so we were able to try Signature Creamy Tonkotsu w/ Black Garlic Oil, Tom Yum Tonkotsu, and Sweet Tomatoes (wasn't a fan). So whether you plan to do AYCE or add on the AYCD, you're guaranteed to be warmed up at this place.

“I went to Puranpoli on the advice of my Uber driver from the airport, and I can tell you that I did not tip him enough... IT WAS EXCELLENT! The palak paneer was excellent, as was the garlic naan. Great flavor, and just the right hint of spice. I also got the namesake dessert on the advice of the host - when I was about to get gulab jamun - and I'm so glad I did! I'll definitely be back when I'm in town to get thali and the ukadiche modak dessert!“

It sounds like an unusual combination, but the sweetness of the pear paired perfectly with the rich, slightly tangy blue cheese. It was creative, balanced, and unlike anything I’ve had before.

The ice cream itself was smooth, creamy, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. It’s always exciting to find a place that’s willing to try interesting flavors and execute them well.

“I was traveling down in the San Jose area and was looking for a nice steak. I had the 10 ouch filet medium rare and it was cooked perfect. I sat in the bar as I was by myself. There was a good selection of beer, wine and cocktails. Service was nice as well. Hit the spot.“

“This is such a great spot for shopping, dining and a csaual hangout with friends. There is a huge luxury section along with utility stores like Apple, etc. My favourite go-to spots are Maiko for matcha, Eataly and Din Tai Fung for food (when you’ve managed to get a reservation!!)“

“It tasted like their ice cream is crafted on site. They were busy so I didn't ask. They do build the ice cream taco in front of you and then drop it in liquid nitrogen.

I am cheap so 7 bucks for my double flavor taco dipped in dark chocolate was a bit expensive, but it was a nice treat and fun to watch. It wasn't expensive really for what you get, I am just a cheapo. Lol“

When I saw there was vietnamese sandwich ban me.I went there right away. I got Bahn Mi.Dac Biet. Great Great. A so good and full. Now price$10 , i guess its good for Cali. Im from TX. A bahn mi dac biet cost $6-8 in my neck of the woods. But great sandwich.“

Would recommend if you’re looking for a chill place to hang out watch some sports and relax. No food though and the place is a little dark (if you don’t mind dim lighting). I did go early (4-7 pm), so no music but a dj did come on later and played some amazing rock music! Anyone playing linkin park at a bar, already gets a 5 on 5 for me!“

“Where I go to get uplifted. Employees are so nice. I get my favorite drink, Cafe Fresco 24 oz, little conversation, dog biscuits, they let me vent if I've had a bad day. It is so close to home and I feel so calm and happy when I'm there. The chocolate muffins are so good, though the blueberry are better for you and pretty tasty.“

“I went to Boba Pup with a friend of mine because he said his friend highly recommended it (so we wanted to give it a try).

Firstly, the service there was fantastic. We were alittle confused as to how the whole thing worked and the girl at the counter came around and helped us with the ordering machine. We also ordered a specific glass for another $5 (this seems a bit much just for requesting a specific glass but I wanted to get it for my wife).

The drink over-all was very good. I love the whole recycling the glass idea. We saved our glass because we want to collect them (they are nice looking glasses)“
