This is a downtown Los Altos outpost for Byington Vineyards and Winery, which has estates in the Santa Cruz Mountains and Alexander Valley. They sell wine by the bottle, glass, and flight. It’s a great place to come in the afternoon for some remote work, to catch up with friends, or to enjoy wine on the evening. The selection is outstanding! Pinot, Chardonnay, Cabernet, sparkling, Sauvignon Blanc, and more than 20 wines more! This is a TRUE HIDDEN GEM.“

It has an artificially too sweet honey flavor. Can't taste the matcha. It is barely green. Boba bliss has better matcha (Izumi Matcha even better though).“

Tender beef, not overcooked. Also, slightly cheaper than other places. Rating a 5 because they deserve at least a 4.6. Really enjoyed it.“

“I discovered the place by accident. I was next door inside Michaels having some art pieces custom framed when I decided to look for a place to stop by to eat. I was starving. I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. Im definitely comjng back.“

“I don’t think the chef was Japanese but I have to say this was some of the best Nigiri sushi I’ve ever had. Generous portions of extremely fresh fish on well-sized, perfectly cooked slabs of sushi rice. And beautifully presented. A bit pricey ($45) but well worth it. Can highly recommend.“

They recently added a few Mexican dishes to their menu, such as chilaquiles, which are a solid choice. Their benedicts, smoothies and bagels are also really good.

“Guys, pleeeeease🙏 consider buying different decaf beans! Those you have now are really bad. Burnt and tastes like coal even in latte with lots of whole milk, there is no way to mask it, we tried 🤣.
We usually come for decaf or half-caf cortado/cappuccino and pastries in the afternoon.
There are a lot of great tasting options for decaf nowadays.

“I have been coming to Red Pepper since March of 2020, and the place is fabulous! The staff, food, drinks, and they treat me like a family member. The owner, Mario Gurrola, has always been great to me. He treats me like a son, and so do their staff. My favorite margarita is the Mi Caballo, I am a regular customer, can come to a safe place to feel relaxed. So, come to a welcoming and friendly Mexican restaurant! 😊“

“Loved the food! About 7$ for crème cheese everything bagel, small redbull and Diet Coke, which I thought was extremely reasonable. Bagel came out extremely fast and staff was super! Huge selection to choose from, and really clean! Definitely recommend, even though it said it was busy the wait was almost 0.“
