“Arguably the best Cajun seafood in the Bay Area. We’re practically regulars here, we come about every two weeks. The headless shrimp, mussels, and king crab are all fantastic. The service is great too, very attentive, and parking is super easy. You can even grab dessert next door afterward with no problem.

If I had to point out one downside, it’s that the front door is ridiculously heavy and hard to push open.“

“Our take-out fish and chips were disappointing. Chips were undercooked and not crisp. The fish under the brown hard crust was OK but the whole presentation was unlike any light crispy dish our family has ever had as fish and chips. Not a repeat meal for us.“

“I've known Pacific Catch for as long as I can remember, so we were happy when they opened in the newly renovated Sunnyvale downtown area.

We've been here a couple of times and both visits were consistent with what we expected. Good ambience, good service, and good food. The ingredients tasted fresh and the service was prompt. If you are looking for more authentic flavors and less Americanized food, there are plenty of other solid options, but it's convenient to have Mexican, Asian, and other flavors under one roof.

On our recent visit, we tried the Firecracker Salmon sushi, the Mexican bowl with shrimp, and a Modelo Negra to go with it. The flavors were mild, but the meal was enjoyable overall. We ended with a nice Hawaiian Sundae to complete the meal and it was quite good. Shout out to Marvin for the good service.

“Went for lunch with two co-workers. We were seated inside right away. The staff were nice and attentive. I'm a Pacific Catch rewards member, and I received a message stating that you could have a free shareable if you let your server know. We decided to have the Coconut Shrimp for the shareable, which was very good! We also enjoyed eating the Japanese Wasabi Original Ahi Poke bowl.
Here's some of the selections that I've had in the past at various Pacific Catch restaurants that I really liked. They seemed delighted that we were eating In and the small homey setting really felt like they inviting us to sit at their table. The spam masubi was incredible, served fresh, with a sweet sauce, and a little touch of pork sung in there made all the difference. I got the wagyu beef with egg meal. It also came with that signature sauce and the meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. “Burma Spice is a Burmese restaurant on El Camino Real in Redwood City. It is situated in a busy strip mall, making parking tight. They have outdoor seating. The food was better than expected and service was solid. Good choice for trying Burmese food on the Peninsula.

Tea Leaf Salad ($19.99) Romaine lettuce, fried yellow beans, garlic chips, sesame & sunflower seeds, peanuts, tomatoes and jalapenos all tossed with fermented green tea leaf dressing was mixed up tableside. Nice version with good ingredients, a moderate dressing and not much spice. 9/10

Burma House Noodle ($19.99) Rice noodle with red bell peppers, onions, cabbage and egg, with crushed peanuts & lemon on the side is on the sweet side. Less noodles than expected, still an enjoyable dish. 8.5/10

“We got the nanjing roasted duck and beef noodle soup here, and they were both very delicious! I would definitely come back here again. The roast duck was cut well, and its skin was very crispy. The sauce was special and complemented the duck well. I can see why this was highly recommended here. As for the beef noodle soup, it was on the sweeter side, and the beef tasted like it was red braised. If we get the same next time, we definitely need to get some plain rice to balance the saltiness and sweetness.“
