“It had been over 20 YEARS since I came to La Fondue, but my sisters were coming for a weekend and I decided we needed to go here. My partner doesn't eat cheese, so I cannot come with him, so this was going to be perfect. Spoiler alert - it was PERFECT! The interior has changed a ton in the past 20 years, but it still has great atmosphere, I love that they keep it dark and intimate. Our server was FANTASTIC. She made solid recommendations, shared her knowledge and advice as we were debating on what to get. We are all not huge eaters, so we weren't sure we needed all the courses. So, we opted for salad, cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. We skipped the meat portion completely. We were impressed that the wine list was affordable - probably because the food is on the pricy side. After our salads, which were really good, we had the 4 cheese fondue, which we practically licked the bowl clean. OMG - it was heavenly. This was based on our servers recommendation, and she was spot on right that it was fantastic. We then had the dark chocolate fondue and then we died and went to heaven. The end :)“

“I visited this gem on a Sunday and it was busier than I anticipated so I had to wait. Not a big deal and wasn't a long time. Once inside, I was able to order right away. I Iooove mariscos and had a hard time making a choice because everything looked so delicious. I was torn between a vasiloco and Aguachiles. I ultimately decided on a Super Chavela, Aguachiles Tricolor, and a roll of sushi. I can't remember specifically what sushi roll I got because the star of the show was definitely the aguachiles!! The Chavela was ice cold and so refreshing. It did a great job of relieving the heat from the aguachiles. The aguachiles were so fresh and flavorful. I've honestly been craving more ever since and will be back soon for that vasiloco!!!“

“We are big fans of Home Eat. Takeout here is consistently good as they have their own deli area of take away dishes but you can also dine in. When we dined there, we got the lamb hot pot which was nice to share. The highlights are the fried chicken wings which are so tasty. We haven't had any bad dishes here and they usually have affordable specials per month. They also give some freebie dessert sesame balls which was a nice touch. A solid Chinese place if you're looking for consistently fair priced & good food.“
“came here on a friday evening with my family. Parking was easy the city also gives you a free 90min if you park in the parking garage but we had no problem finding street parking. We were greeted right away and given menus. The selection is really big. They also have a happy hour from 3pm-6pm which was nice. We paid $60 for three meals and drinks (one of which was a beer) portions are really big and food comes out piping hot. The staff is super friendly. Overall my family will be coming back again we enjoyed ourselves so much.“

Employee took my order at the front counter (standard service), though there's a self-order kiosk as well. Order was ready in 5-10 minutes, no other customers at the time. Got the mini loco moco, and the meat, gravy, mac salad, everything was flavorful and satisfying... the mini size was sufficient for a filling meal. Based on taste, I'd say this would be one of my top 2 hawaiian spots in the south bay.“

Dry string beans and eggplant in garlic sauce. Both were great. The portion size was large, which I appreciate. Lots to take home. I will be going back.“

They are sweet and spicy.Think of Burmese food as Indian, Thai, and Chinese fusion. If you like any of those cuisines you can find something you would enjoy on the menu.“

The style was more of an old school Italian, nice sauces, perfectly cooked pastas. The pizza bread was thick kind and the toppings tasty. Our favorites would be the tortellini and bolognese but the rest were equally nice. The dessert was divine and I am usually not a fan of lemon. Bread is served with dinner with butter and a nice dipping sauce.“

There was not a lot of people sitting inside, but there were a lot of people getting take out. We ordered pork soup dumplings, Nanjing salted chicken, mixed fried rice and green onion pancake. It was a lot of carbs and filled us up since we were starving. The nanjing salted chicken was the highlight. There's maybe not a lot of places that do it this well. It is a lukewarm style dish and the flavor of the salt on the tender duck was delicious. The dough from the green onion pancake and XLB had a nice chewy texture, very homestyle-like. I would pass on the fried rice next time. This is a family run restaurant and very cozy vibe. It was inexpensive for the Bay Area and we just spent around $50 for the meal. Would definitely come back and try their other dishes. They have talented chefs and it is a good spot to go to or have take out, to enjoy something similar to a home-cooked meal.“

There are things that fail many Latin businesses in the USA, CLEANLINESS in bathrooms, doors and tables. They would have more clients if they paid more attention to those details. Not all of them are bad, in GILROY, Ca, there is the "SUPER TAQUERIA" on the Monterey hwy. I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised by the coconut lava balls - crispy on the outside and warm and lightly sweet on the inside side, with tapioca in the filling as well. It was really well balanced so it didn't feel heavy even though it was lightly fried. Will definitely be one of my go to desserts. Service was efficient and friendly. But don't expect anything too attentive as it gets pretty busy and they have a lot of customers to serve. Ambiance was a bustling, family-friendly environment. You can tell that they get a lot of regulars and people come here to eat good food. A bit of a hidden gem. Parking - there is a small parking lot but it can get filled up pretty quickly.
