We are big fans of Home Eat. Takeout here is consistently good as they have their own deli area of take away dishes but you can also dine in. When we dined there, we got the lamb hot pot which was nice to share. The highlights are the fried chicken wings which are so tasty. We haven't had any bad dishes here and they usually have affordable specials per month. They also give some freebie dessert sesame balls which was a nice touch. Not bad for Chinese food. When I went though, the service was SOOOO slow, probably took an hour just to get the food. The food was at least good though, and got some San Cha Milk Tea right after.
Very reasonable prices, spice-d tasty food, friendly staff This is a casual, low key place that serves tasty food for very reasonable prices (prices I can't see anywhere else in the Bay). It's a charming gem. We got the fried pork chops, pork and shrimp dumplings, green been and eggplant, and fried chicken wings. We especially liked the fried pork chops, eggplant, and chicken wings.
