“I was surprised by the large portion sizes. The waitress made great recommendations! Everything looks great, tastes great and this is a great go to spot I’ll go to whenever I am in town!“

“Tried Ox 9 Lanzhou Handpulled Noodles and honestly… solid spot. The thin noodles surprised me super chewy with great strength even though they’re thin. Respect to the noodle puller because that texture was on point.
The soup was flavorful and came with that classic Lanzhou level grease, which sounds intense but actually keeps the broth hot and satisfying. Spice level was perfectly balanced not trying to end your day, but just enough to wake up your taste buds.
Also tried the thick noodles from the chili oil bowl strong, super chewy, and full of character. Basically the noodle equivalent of someone who works out legs every day.
Overall, this place is a legit hand-pulled noodle fix. Great texture, great flavor, great heat. Definitely coming back whenever that Lanzhou noodle craving hits.“

“Came here for a casual date night on a Friday. Place was pretty empty for a Friday which meant we got seated right away, and staff was friendly throughout. Portions run small so plan to order more than you think you need. Still a great value. For the food itself:
The Dan Dan noodles are the move. Oily, salty, spicy, and the Sichuan peppercorns actually numb your face and stick around. Makes sense they're the most popular thing on the menu.
Chicken xiao long bao were good but the broth inside was weak compared to other places I've had them. Still good though.
Chicken potstickers were well executed, good crisp on the bottom, but nothing standout about them.
Sweet and sour cucumber was a solid starter and looked nice, but the slices were too thick to actually be able to rip out.
The egg fried rice is really good. Oilier than most but that's exactly why it works.“

“This is one of my favorite places to go for a hearty braised meat meal. Every dish is cooked to perfection and the flavors are interesting and remain authentic. Today we got the braised pork rib which were tender, juicy, and flavorful, and the duck gizzard which was very tasty. Highly recommend this place!“

“Wonderful handmade noodles dishes, very QQ (aka bouncy and chewy). The noodles are made to order so there's a bit of a wait but it's worth it. Portions are generous and all around delicious. Please note that this place only take cash so be sure to have them handy. It does get crowded around noontime so be prepared to wait.“

“Wei's Fish has delicious sauerkraut Fish soup at a good price. They have both spicy and non-spicy options. Steamed rice comes included for free when you dine-in. One large fish soup is plenty for a family of 3. It is also kid-friendly with kids meals that have hot dog and spaghetti and they give younger ones a colorful pinwheel souvenir.“

“This is my second time eating here, and the experience has been great every time! The service is attentive and the food is delicious. I especially love their grilled fish — it’s a must-try! Just a heads-up: it can get very busy on weekends!“
“As someone from Chengdu who has lived in the U.S. for over 20 years, I was pleasantly surprised by the authentic flavors at Jade Xiang Yue. The sour long bean stir-fried chicken giblets tasted just like home—clean, flavorful, and well-balanced. The stir-fried beef was tender and spicy, with great meat quality. Their roast duck was fresh and juicy, made on the spot, and definitely one of the better ones I’ve had in the Bay Area. The restaurant is clean and tidy, with a comfortable atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive. I heard they offer a lunch set for four at $58, and the portions are generous. I’ll definitely be back with friends😍“

“This is my favorite Chinese restaurant, just discovered within the last few months. My extended family always goes out for Chinese food (we are Chinese) when we get together so we've been to many restaurants in Santa Clara County. Everyone in our big group thought it was very good.“
“The boss is so cute! Very funny and heartwarmingQuote: "It doesn't taste good just because everyone's taste is different.""I can't say it's the best, but it's really delicious.""Don't buy too much for your first time here. What if the taste doesn't suit your taste?"Although it is a bit salty, it is delicious. Recommended!“

“Authentic Chinese, maybe on the slightly pricier side, but the quality and portions are great. Nice place to take the kids as there's usually no wait. Winners for us are:
東北扣肉 Steamed Pork - Northeastern Style (basically Dongpo Pork, very tender and not oily, bonus it comes with lots of veggies)
冬瓜燉排骨 Stewed Spare Ribs with Winter Melon (soup is very flavorful, has clear noodles which the kids like)
什錦炒飯 Fried Rice (huge plate, hearty portions of meat)
蔥油餅 (thicker/more substantial than other places)“

“Dainty cuisine’s chive pancakes and Shanghai fresh meat buns are absolutely delicious! I had ordered them yesterday, it amazing—thin, crispy skin with a generous filling, bursting with flavor in every bite, not greasy at all, with just the right amount of savory goodness. The front desk service is warm and welcoming, and I highly recommend it to anyone! Also the fresh meat buns, I satisfy in every steaming hot bite! The salty rice balls are also a pleasant surprise, with super crispy fried dough sticks and a flavor that makes them the perfect breakfast choice!“
“I came here multiple times and absolutely the best clay pot rice I ever had! Its better than the one I had in Guangzhou. I love their on the side soy sauce and chili oil, you can customize to match your taste. The chili oil is not too greasy or spicy, but smell amazing on the rice. The amount of the meat they serve is also very reasonable.“
“Came from out of town for work. Randomly stumbled upon this little jam. The 滷肉拌麵 is so tasty I don't know how to describe it. You would have to try it yourself. And it's only $10?! Where do you find cheap yummy food like this. They take credit cards, but no AMEX. Take out only.“
“We came to this place for lunch. we heard about this place from many people. Well, we were not disappointed. The crew were extremely nice and we felt excellent. The meal was great. We had a great time and we shall absolutely come back again. Recommended.“

“We tried the new Malatang options and it was really good! Big variety in veggies and meat you could choose from, and everything was cooked to perfection. The noodles in particular were thin but chewy, which was a pleasant surprise! The interior is very spacious, and parking wasn't a problem on a Saturday.“

“A causal eatery serving authentic Cantonese rice noodle rolls stuffed with different types of meats, seafood or vegetables. The rice rolls with beef stew, bbq pork or shrimp were consistently good, but those with pork liver tasted gamy on the day we went. We also had the Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, which was quite good. They also serve traditional Cantonese savory rice congee with meats and other types of Cantonese street foods. Service was fast. Price was reasonable.“

“Very tasty Chinese BBQ. I enjoyed the meat skewers, they were seasoned very well. Our group especially liked the grilled vegetables, the grilled green beans were excellent and the grilled mushrooms were truly divine. The atmosphere is great, it's a clean, well-lit place with nice Chinese decor. And our server was very friendly. All in all we had a great experience at this restaurant and highly recommend it.
Parking: Parking is very easy.“

“Went for a late night supper at this Hong Kong style cafe restaurant. For the food that we had ordered, the taste was either a hit or miss. For instance, the presentation and taste of the two types of chicken wing appetizers, the mini baked macaroni and mini baked pork chops were good but there is hardly any taste for the boat congee (contains pork innards) and the wonton soup noodles. Price wise, the late night Happy Hour prices are not very attractive based on the portions served. However, one strong feature of the restaurant is that there are a lot of Hong Kong style dishes and finger foods provided by the restaurant which makes this place a good location to sample Hong Kong style cuisine.“

“The Hainan chicken is really good, the rice is good too, but grilled chicken is little too dry. Portion is okay, but I wish they give more chicken and less rice. Plenty of seats nearby, but not very clean and can get very crowded sometimes.“

“I want to gatekeep this place, but I want this restaurant to do well. We've been eating here for a few years, their drypot can't be beat. It's really delicious. You pick what you want to go in, and pick a spice level, and they'll cook it for you. Dining in also comes with a nice complementary sweet tea, which helps with the spice. We usually get it with rice. They're a good spicy for casual spice eaters. Probably not stupid spicy for those who really fixate on it.“

“Highly recommend the delicious , tender, and authentic Hainanese chicken. Must order. We had 1/2 chicken. The chicken soup was very tasty soup and costed $1.
The stirred fried green bean with minced meat was good texture with flavors.
Ordered a whole Hainanese chicken for our Lunar New Year’s Eve dinner 😋“

“This restaurant serves good Taiwanese cuisine for either lunch or dinner. The more popular dishes among all are its varieties of soup dumplings and fried buns etc.. In addition, the meat dishes such as “Sa Cha” pork or “3 Cup” pork intestines are also pretty good. Likewise, I am also amazed by the variety of ingredients in the seafood soup. For those who like a sweet dessert, the sesame seed red bean pancake dish is definitely something that is worth trying.“

“Ordered a bottle of Biru 101 Rice Lager from Sugoi to go with our food and honestly it was such a good combo 🍺
The stir-fried pork and steamed fish here are super flavorful and the beer’s light clean finish pairs perfectly without killing the taste of the food. Plus it’s brewed with Taiwanese rice and oolong tea 🍚🫖
Definitely order a bottle next time you come!“

“Great food and service. Huge menu. Decaf Alishan oolong is rare and a real treat; I wish they sold the loose leaf tea in the storefront.
Got the scallion pancake, beef dry noodle, Hainan chicken and rice, and pickles. All of it was excellent.
There's a Fri-Sun breakfast menu until 11 that looks great.“
