“We had 5 items ordered for 2 of us:
BBQ Pork Noodle Roll with XO sauce
Chicken Feet (x4)
Pork Xiao Long Bao (x4)
Paigu aka Steamed Pork Ribs (bone-in)
Radish Cake
All were made very well. The noodle rolls with XO sauce are always tasty. Prices are acceptable. The ambiance is ok, not great but not bad. Overall our favorite dim sum restaurant in San Jose.
Parking: If you want parking, arrive within 15 minutes of opening; otherwise, you will likely have to park on the street.“

“A decent restaurant that opens late! A great place to get quality food.
The crab roe Xiao long bao is so creamy! The juice is solid. It's expensive, but it's really worth it! I would skip the pork buns. They are so so.
Nice atmosphere, clean tables!“

“The food is amazing. We go there every week, but it’s not all about the food. Sandy and her staff make us feel like family. We truly appreciate them! ❤️❤️❤️“

“Solid place to get Chinese food that’s a little cheaper than Taste down the street. They’re also a good place to get dim sum in Palo Alto (although in my opinion the dim sum prices are still pricey, but that’s Palo Alto for you).
This time we got the cumin lamb and sautéed broccoli with some white rice. The cumin lamb was very good. It was a bit salty, but this dish usually is.
The service was a little slow this time. The cumin lamb was served before the rice so we had to wait a little to get our rice to eat with the dish. But I’ve gone before and haven’t had that problem with the service before so it could just be that time.
The inside’s really new and clean. It feels modern and warm. Also the bathroom’s surprisingly large and nice. It definitely feels like an expensive restaurant bathroom.
Parking: There are many parking garages in Palo Alto so it’s not too hard for us to find parking

“Went for a special birthday lunch. Sat outside. A warm day, but comfortable in the shade. Server was very attentive and made great recommendations! Everything was very tasty. If you're a large eater be prepared to spend a bit.
Parking: Downtown San Jose, Parking Garage available across the main street from the restaurant which is down a closed side street.“

“We got there when they opened and there was no line. Someone helped us right away. Small restaurant about 8-10 table.
We ordered the beef pancake, pork and chicken dumplings, and braised chicken feet.
Beef pancake: 4/5, it needed a little sauce
Pork and chives dumpling: 3.5/ I like it how it was, my husband said it was too doughy for him.
Braised chicken feet: 4.5/ was a little sweet.
Overall would come back. There were also a lot of people who came for pick up too.“

“I love this place! We came to satisfy the serious food preferences my family has and were so pleased with the food. While there is a sign in waitlist, the wait was maybe 10 min. The food was all so delicious. We ordered the juicy pan fried buns, pork XLB, cucumber salad, pork and cabbage dumplings, and braised beef soup noodles. Service was quick and friendly. Price point was good.
I can’t wait to go back and/or order takeout.
Kid-friendliness: Pretty casual. Booths or banquette seating. Indoors and outdoor tables.“

“0ne of my go-to places for take out dim sum in the South Bay. Good Soy Sauce Chow Mein, Shrimp Dumplings, Pork Dumplings, Sticky Rice, Black Bean Spare Ribs, Taro Balls, Turnip Cake, Baked Pork Buns, Big Chicken Buns, and the lunch specials are a deal. I like their jook or rice porridge- both are good. They use skinny rice noodles, which I am not a fan of for Chow Fun. Other restaurants make Chow Fun better (like Top Cafe). They now take credit card payments! The ladies speak English enough to take your order, just be patient and point at what you want.
Parking: It can get crowded in the parking lot, be patient if the lot is full. People come and go, because of Lion Market and other dining places to eat.“

“We came here from Florida and wanted to try something unique. The food here is delicious. This picture is all we have left from 3 containers. We are full and very satisfied with the food. And the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this to travelers and locals alike.“

“We came here for dinner with friends on Sunday evening, plenty of seating. Service was friendly and attentive. Family style order to share: Seafood pan fried noodles, Garlic String beans, and BBQ Pork. For 4 people, that was enough food. The string beans portion was generous and cooked perfectly.
Desserts: Mango pudding and egg custard buns, which were freshly steamed. Both were delicious.“

“Asian American, have tried a lot of dumplings in my life including on the rare occasion, making my own. These are delicious! Perfect filling to wrapper ratio. I happen to like my wrappers a little thicker and doughier so this was perfect for me. Delicious! Highly recommend the pork and chive!
Also excellent green onion pancakes and braised pork over rice combination was great! Highly recommend this place. The other reviewers complaining about ambiance and their green onion pancake not being garlicky enough - this is a fair, fast, high quality place, perfect for take out. This is not Din Tai Fung, but honestly their pork and chive dumplings are up to par!“

“Went to Koi Palace Contempo in Cupertino for dinner with friends this weekend. We were actually planning to go somewhere else, but they had a new menu, and my friend’s kid wanted some soup dumplings, so we decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, it wasn’t crowded, and we got seated right away. The service was great—our tea was refilled often, and the food came out fast. We ordered the steamed sea bass, and it was super fresh and tender.
The roast duck was better than I remembered, even my picky foreign friend loved it. We only ordered half a duck, but it wasn’t enough, so we’re planning to order takeout tomorrow! Their signature dishes like steamed chicken feet and soup dumplings were still as good as ever.
The new crispy beef brisket was a pleasant surprise—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. We devoured it in no time. We also ordered a sole fish rice dish for my foreign friend, and it came with five fish fillets! I heard some people say the portions are small, but this time it felt like they were bigger. The server mentioned they’ve increased the portion sizes, added new dishes, and even lowered the prices. Seems like competition in the Bay Area is heating up! Overall, a very satisfying meal, and I’ll definitely be back for more!“
