I’m pitched to order the 椒盐豆腐 even if I don’t want to. It doesn’t taste as good as advertised. I’m also not feeling respected by the black suite order taker either.
HL will transport you into a luxurious dining hall with huge tv projections on each side to broadcast their fine offerings of foods and wedding services.
The food is similarly priced to koi palace but slightly better quality. Dim sum carts aren't pushed around the old fashion way. You order from a menu so each item comes out piping hot which adds to its quality. Can't say I had a single dish that didn't taste hot and fresh. Highly recommend to all dimsum and Chinese food lovers

Based on the reviews, HL Peninsula Restaurant is a great spot for both dim sum and dinner. The dining hall is very spacious with high ceilings and is well lit, though it can get noisy and crowded on weekends, so a reservation is recommended. The food is delicious and never lets you down, with generous portions—the fried rice is like a small mountain. The seafood dishes are well done, but there is very limited, hardly any decent option for vegetarians. The service is excellent; staff are friendly and ensure needs are met. If a dish is not right, they immediately make a new one without questions and even give complimentary longevity buns. The restaurant is good for large parties, gatherings, and celebrations. They have great private dining rooms and set menu options for hosting events. Staff help with candles and play birthday songs without charging extra fees. Overall, it is a go-to spot with great food, generous portions, and excellent service.
