“Food and service were was good, the place was busy and lively but the interior is old and can use a bit of a moden refresh !
Parking: Teriyaki chicken bent box portion was generous, and the chicken was tasty, but i didn't like the special beef sushi roll, which I tasted for the first time !”
“My favorite restaurant in Milpitas. The chef was from Michelin Star restaurant and has an extremely high standard for quality. The price is very reasonable as well. Top notch! Go Echo!”
“Simply amazing food and incredibly awesome staff ❤️👍 My addiction to ho here and eat ❤️❤️❤️ I just wish there was a Dish Dash in South San Francisco or close by 😕🙏”
“Great malatang place. Quick and easy as well. When you walk in when busy they will tell you if a table is free and give you number. Then you can just fill up a bowl of food from the bar. Everything from veggies, noodles, meats, fish, balls and most things you can find at a hot pot place.
I like the normal broth one medium spicy. It’s not crazy spice so you can easily get spicy without issue. The dry pot is good but a little too sweet with the peanut sauce they put in. Prices are good and it’s a nice place. I like to come here a lot.”

“Previously only tried YGF Malatang, but a friend put me on Mala Town in the same plaza. Love the soup and options for your malatang. Personal favorite is the cheese filled tofu and wide hot pot noodles. No weight limit like YGF, just $15.99/lb. Have come a lot after my first time.”
“affordable thaalis, langar esq, freshly baked rotis. but i hope they had a sabjee dish and not everything on their online menu was served. but overall pretty good experience specially the chaas they serve.”
“The sushi here is seriously good - fresh ingredients, creative rolls you won’t find anywhere else. The Fuji Roll? Absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, even if the vibe inside feels a bit cramped and could use a deeper clean. It’s a small spot, so I’d recommend takeout or delivery over dining in. For the quality of food though, it’s worth it.”

“Had my first taste of this amazing ice cream at an ice cream social hosted by my building in SF. They are located in Milpitas but I had an errand in San Jose and made it a priority to stop here on my way home. Highly recommend these flavors: Fresh Guava, Dark Chocolate salted caramel and honey lavender blueberry...so many others are great and all really interesting flavors.”
“I’m from Virginia, and I must say the Bay Area has us beat in terms of pho options! Both their chicken and beef pho broth is excellent, but the standout is the bun bo hue!! You will not regret giving this place a try. The restaurant itself is nice and clean and the owner was very attentive and friendly. Will be back again the next time I’m in the area.”

“We had ordered food for a small party . Their service was excellent, they suggested good food choices for the party . No hassle in picking the order , it was ready on time . Taste was excellent and the quantity was sufficient .”
“Always Been Our Go-To For Any Occassion. Everything Is Great But Their Oyster Shot Is The Best”
“Came here for lunch expecting your typical Japanese sushi, bento boxes, etc but was then kinda disappointed I didn’t see the usual stuff. Ordered “fried shrimp roll” which is the closest to a dragon or tempura roll and a Wagyu steak don. I was actually surprised and liked it a lot. It is on the pricer side. Will come again.”

“I have lived in Milpitas for 3 1/2 years now, and only recently 'discovered' this hidden gem right at the end of the street I live on!!! Their menu is varied enough to have a great selection, but not so much that it's overwhelming. The minute you enter their diner, you're greeted with a warm Good Morning or Good Afternoon! The staff is very attentive and friendly; we felt like members of the family from our first visit! The food is priced fairly, which is hard to say about almost any other restaurant I've been in lately, and, it is delicious! There you have it...Welcoming, friendly staff, great menu selection, delicious food, priced fairly. A recipe for success, obviously since they've been there for over 20 years! Try it, you will not be disappointed!”
“Tacos y Tlayudas El Ejuteco has become my cherished discovery in the local food truck scene, transforming from a chance encounter into my go-to destination for delicious Mexican cuisine. This cash-only establishment serves up dishes that consistently exceed expectations, both in flavor and generosity.
The crown jewel of their menu is undoubtedly the al pastor torta, which introduced me to an unexpected but delightful twist – the addition of beans. The interplay of textures, combined with the traditional pineapple in the al pastor, creates a harmonious blend of sweet, savory, and creamy elements that elevate this sandwich to memorable heights. Their chicken quesadillas deserve special mention, striking the perfect balance between crispy exterior and melted, flavorful filling.
What sets this food truck apart is their attention to the details that many establishments overlook. The pickled vegetables, served in generous portions, add a bright, acidic counterpoint to their rich main dishes. Their taco selection maintains high quality across the board, and the burritos, are certainly worth exploring as well.
The establishment's character shines through not just in their food but in their genuine hospitality. During one visit, when I found myself a dollar short while purchasing a Jarritos after my meal, they graciously accepted what I had – a small gesture that speaks volumes about their customer service philosophy. This kind of personal touch, increasingly rare in today's dining landscape, helps foster a loyal customer base.
While the cash-only policy might require some planning ahead, it's a minor inconvenience given the quality and value provided. Whether you're craving authentic Mexican street food or seeking a reliable quick meal, Tacos y Tlayudas El Ejyteco delivers consistency, generosity, and flavor in every dish. It's more than just a food truck – it's a testament to the enduring appeal of well-executed, unpretentious cuisine.”
“I don’t really consider In-N-Out as a burger, but as far as the taste goes, it is a really delicious sandwich. I always go with a double-double and find it fulfilling. I like to add some grilled onions and think it makes it tasty.
I personally don’t like the fries as it seems a little soggy.”
“A friend recommended this restaurant for hot pot. My family all liked the taste, which was a very unique soup base. The waiter was very helpful and reminded us that we ordered too much and couldn't finish it. We ordered three soup bases and they were all delicious. The portions were large and we had some food left over. When we checked out, we were surprised to find that the price was lower than other hot pot restaurants. It was economical and the dishes were fresh. We will ask friends to come back again!”
“Portions are generous and filling. Ingredient quality is decent—most items feel reasonably fresh. The soup base is acceptable, but nothing particularly memorable. Solid spot if you’re craving hot pot without the premium price tag, but don’t expect anything mind-blowing.”

“I was craving some Korean food and came here and it was GOOD! After we ordered through the QR code on the table, we got some banchan, which was okay. We then got some sort of soup and it was amazing. We ordered the seafood pancake (great), deluxe tteokbokki (amazing and super heavy), and bulgogi bibimbap (great). Would definitely return.”

“I ordered the dynamite roll from V Sushi through Uber Eats and wow, absolutely phenomenal! Even delivered, it was still crispy and full of flavor. It’s a deep-fried roll done right hot, crunchy, and super satisfying. Definitely one of the better sushi delivery experiences I’ve had. Can’t wait to order again!”
“AMAZING snacks! There is a free snack bar with all kinds of delicious chinese snacks, the staff were very kind and gave children toys. You can walk in at any given time and they will find you a table immediately. The place is very clean, and my family and I love it so much we go at least 2 times a week. If you’re ever looking for a hot pot place go here!”
“Obviously, their iconic Daeho Kalbi Jjim tastes good. Definitely more on the sweet side, but quite authentic to kalbi jjim I've had in Korea. I also got their naemmyeon (sorry if I spelled it wrong). It was tasty and cold, but the portion is huge! Hard for 1 person to finish. Their banchan (kimchis) were lacking. They don't give much and they didn't taste very good. Kind of like if you made kimchi from home not realizing it'll take a couple days to get the proper fermented taste. Staff was attentive and handled the long lines and crowded restaurant well. However, THERE IS NO AC! PLACE WAS SO HOT!!! Be ready to sweat just from heat. I like the music choice though. Had some Big Bang playing and some other pre-BTS popular Kpop. Would I go again? Probably not. You save money making kalbi jjim at home. But it's a nice little experience.”
“In my opinion, the price is extremely good for the quality of meat you get. I feel that Meat Time fills this niche for yakiniku so well in the bay area that I can easily recommend any of my friends to try it.
I had previously written a critical review of Meat Time on an operationally difficult day, and posted it before the check came and a significant discount was given to us in light of the difficulty. I think this review was unfair considering my overall experiences with my friends here over the past year or so. It was not my intention to solicit a refund or otherwise.”
“The food was very hot and delicious. I am very adventurous and ordered the new cheesy chicken cutlet, sweet potato fries with plum seasoning, and a spicy fried chicken bento box. Food is very large portions, great for sharing. I've never had this like this and definitely recommend it. Friendly staff or you can use a self service tablet. Has some great deals as well. The picture of the food is next and reheated. Still tasted fantastic.”
“One of the best pastas in the bay area the staff is incredible capable very clean and professional the environment is friendly ever there is very proactive i was in shock to see the work team vibe is way better than the one in santa maria c.a . I highly recommend this place for your future celebrations”
“Wonderful restaurant! The service is beyond amazing, all the workers were very kind. The naengmyeon and banchans were all so delicious and I would definitely come back here again!”

“We would like to thank you so much Denny’s Milpitas for the warm welcoming we receive every Sunday from the staff and most especially from the Mayolo, the Manager. He makes sure that we receive the food we ordered ant the right time even though we know that there are lots of customers on site. Food are fresh, delicious, and the best part is the place is very comfortable for us to meet with the big group. This place is commendable!
Kid-friendliness: Staff are Kid-friendly . They provide stuff for kids to get busy.”
“on the afternoon of OCT 27, 2024 poor staff didn't have any cooks - they are doing their best with the hand they were dealt today. I hope those that were kicking tail to keep up with the demand are given a raise or a respectful appreciation for sticking through unique challenges and stressors.”
“one of the best chinese food places in the bay. can’t believe i didn’t come sooner
so good that i came back again twice in a week
great taste, generous portions and diverse selections, can’t ask for anymore”
“Food is great and friendly staff. Caddilac Margaritas is the bomb”
“The classic grilled fish in Liu’s secret flavor is very delicious, if you like something with more balance of numbing pepper flavor, sweetness and sourness.
The beef and lamb skewers are quite tasty too. They have good seasonings but not overwhelming, so you can still taste the flavor of meat.
Service is great. We come in on a rainy Monday if that counts”
Takeout Restaurants
“Omg the calamari is amazing, most of the drinks I don’t like. But the food and customer service is amazing. Kenya is great customer service, like she always says hi to me, she fixed the spices for me without attitude and genuinely looks like she’s a very nice girl. You don’t meet good customer service like her.”

“Fantastic little poke spot in Milpitas. Friendliest owners I've ever met, and the toppings are fresh and delicious. You start by picking your base: sushi rice, brown rice, or greens, then add your proteins with variety such was spicy salmon, tuna, shrimp, tilapia, tuna salad, tofu, etc. You can choose a spice level, and additional toppings such as edamame, corn, seaweed salad (so good), macaroni salad, crab, etc. I love to add spicy mayo and yuzu ponzo, plus eel sauce. Do not pass this place up!”

“I can tell from the quality of food, decor, cleanliness, and environment that a lot of thought was put into this restaurant. The food was incredible - very fresh and tasty. They were also kid-friendly (small details like corner protectors on the chairs). Our kids enjoyed the toy dispenser and the kids meal. Staff were friendly too. We will definitely be back!
Kid-friendliness: Kids meal, toy dispenser, clean restrooms, and even corner protectors on the chairs!”
“The best bahn mi ever.
This is one of the few restaurants that sell grilled beef bahn mi . Absolutely delicious!!!
Their tofu bahn mi is also high on my list!!!
Not only does this restaurant make bahn mi, but they offer hot entrees, like noodle soup and rice dishes.
The eggrolls are delicious.
There is seating for about 20 people.
Canned drinks and juices are available, as
Are freshly made smoothies and boba tea..
Oh yeah, and the prices for the bahn mi are incredible. $6.00- $7.50 depending on what you order.
Service is fast.. atmosphere - okay.
More like a hole- in- the - wall restaurant, but a memorable hole- in - the- wall!!!”
“I love this restaurant before, because I love to eat anything!”
“Best Momos! Can't wait to try more specialties!”

“Omega is one of the few breakfast spots I've been to since moving to California that is actually good. I always sample a bunch of food items to test the waters, and so far, a lot of places have left me disappointed, but every single item I tried here was cooked correctly and tasted great. The customer service was also very good.”
“honestly some of the best ramen i’ve ever tasted. the flavors are super rich and satisfying. a lot of their ramen can be on the heavier side though, so i never really finish a full bowl—but even as leftovers they still taste amazing. definitely a go-to when i’m craving something comforting and filling.”
“Curry Pizza House offers a unique twist on classic pizza with its fusion of Indian flavors. The Veggie Delight Pizza is a standout, offering a medley of fresh vegetables and a flavorful curry sauce that perfectly complements the crispy crust. The Chilli Paneer Pizza is another highlight, featuring tender paneer cubes and vibrant curry sauce that bring a delightful heat and richness. Equally impressive is the Desi Garlic Bread, which infuses traditional garlic bread with aromatic Indian spices, making each bite a delightful burst of flavor. For those seeking a creative twist on classic dishes, Curry Pizza House is a must-visit destination.”
“I love the broth!!!! I can tell that you must have braised the broth forever since the broth was so good. I was busy each time my husband wanted to take me so I asked him to buy to go. OMG a I opened the door coming home to smell Pho all over my home. It felt as if I was at the restaurant. The aroma was pho-Ing good!!! The meat was pho-tastic.and I love the huge volume of onions and fresh tasking ginger in every bite. If you love pho or if you love noodles or if you love food, then you must visit this Pho Thin Ha Noi - pho-ing good.”

“Come for the food and not the ambiance. Great food and good service. Dining area is small, ~6x tables in the entrance to the butcher shop. Simple menu. Beef, chicken or lamb prepared cubed or ground. My goto is the lamb chili kabobs served with rice and cucumber salad. My wife really liked their burger and fries. They also have roast chicken which is a good take home option.”
“The term "American-Indo-Asian" can describe the menu here. We had Mao Baos and Manchurian Sizzler, and loved both. That Mumbai Sandwich style chutney ir -kled vegetables hits a perfect taste s00dles as whitely coming back to have some more Manchurian Sizzler had both rice and noodles as well as fried and veggies. All tasted great!
Service was quick and friendly. We were here for weekday lunch it wasn't crowded. Nice simple ambiance.
Menu is really good with variety of options available. Must try place for vegetarians and vegans in the bay area.”
“It's cash only.Had been seeing this place ever so often, decided to finally get dinner from there. My God, it was amazing. After a long long long time, had a truly delicious Al pastor burrito. Their torta was also amazing! Not much seating, did a take out. It's now my favorite Mexican food truck”

“If you like fresh tasty Asian food in an ultra clean, bright and cheery environment, you've found your new home at TK Noodle Milpitas. They reopened after being shut down by the covid lockdowns in a smaller newer building and it's better than ever. They have ame great food in a more cheerful clean bright friendly environment. I love pasta and noodles and their wide noodles are the best anywhere in the world, EVER!”
“Excellent food, taste is so authentic. Freshly made. Customer service is very friendly and accommodative. We had Chicken 65, Medu Vada, Dosa Varieties, Biriyani, parathas, Chilli chicken, uthappam, Poori etc. Highly recommend this restaurant, for kids and Adults. I would definitely visit often. Pricing very nominal.”

“Kicked off the New Year with a fantastic dinner at H L Peninsula, and it did not disappoint! This spot offers classic Cantonese-style seafood dining in a traditional Chinese banquet hall setting. The food was affordable, the portions were generous, and everything we tried was packed with flavor.
We ordered the vegetarian and egg fried rice along with the spare ribs—both were absolutely amazing. The spare ribs were tender and full of savory goodness, and the fried rice was the perfect comforting complement. Bonus: the leftovers kept us happy for days.
We’re already planning to return to explore their seafood dishes, which looked incredible on other tables. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Cantonese dining with portions that deliver, H L Peninsula is a solid choice.”
