“This place has authentic Shanghai-style desserts and wontons. The flavors taste traditional and comforting, and you can tell they put care into the food. The desserts are nicely balanced—not overly sweet—and the wontons are fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a taste of classic Shanghai comfort food. I would definitely come back again.“

“The food was authentic and good! Came several times already. The owner and her son cared about their customers and the food.
They didn’t ask for your reviews like other places. I just felt that it’s too good to be hidden and want to help them to promote.“

“Pho Lan, a true family-run establishment in Fremont, delivers exactly what matters most in Vietnamese cuisine: spectacular, authentic flavor and generous value. While this isn't the spot for a luxurious, white-tablecloth experience, it is hands down the best place to find truly delicious pho and rice dishes in the area.
The primary reason to visit Pho Lan is the food, and they execute it flawlessly. The flavors here are deeply authentic, showcasing the care and tradition that only a family business dedicated to its craft can provide.
The Pho: The star of the show is, naturally, the pho. The broth is rich, complex, and clean—the hallmark of high-quality pho. It’s clear that the broth simmers for hours, resulting in a depth of flavor that many chain restaurants simply cannot replicate. Whether you choose a classic rare steak or brisket combination, the meat is fresh, and the portion size is substantial.
Beyond the Broth: While the pho is a must-try, the kitchen excels across the board. The rice dishes are equally noteworthy, featuring perfectly cooked meats and well-balanced marinades. If you're looking for Vietnamese food that tastes just like the dishes prepared in a traditional home, Pho Lan delivers.
Pho Lan offers excellent value. The portions are notably generous, ensuring you leave completely satisfied. In an age where many restaurants are shrinking servings, Pho Lan maintains a commitment to great portion size, making it a fantastic choice for lunch or dinner without breaking the bank.
It is important to manage expectations regarding the dining environment and service. As a dedicated, family-run operation, the entire focus is on efficiency and getting excellent food to your table quickly.
Ambiance & Service: This is not a restaurant built on trendy decor or overly solicitous service. The atmosphere is simple, casual, and functional. Service is efficient and straightforward, reflecting the priority of the kitchen over the front of house flair. If the quality of the food is your main metric, you will be thrilled. If you expect a high-end, polished dining experience, you might need to adjust your expectations. Pho Lan is an honest, no-frills location dedicated to its culinary mission.
Pho Lan is a Fremont treasure. It’s the kind of local spot that deserves strong community support because they consistently nail the most important element: the food.
For authentic flavors, generous portions, and truly delicious Vietnamese cuisine—from the masterful pho broth to the flavorful rice plates—Pho Lan is highly recommended. Come support this dedicated family business and enjoy some of the best Vietnamese food Fremont has to offer.
This was long due- will post pictures next time I visit them.“

“This Korean BBQ restaurant truly exceeded my expectations! The quality of the beef is outstanding — easily comparable to the Hanwoo beef I’ve had in Korea. You can really taste how premium and fresh the meat is, especially when grilled.
The banchan (side dishes) selection is also very generous and well-prepared, offering great variety and authentic flavors. A special shoutout to their seasonings and sauces — the sauce selection is way more extensive than most Korean BBQ spots, and each one pairs perfectly with the meat.
Most importantly, this place is not just about BBQ. Their braised spicy pork ribs (the famous Korean spicy rib stew) are incredibly flavorful and deeply marinated, with the sauce soaking into every bite. It’s rich, spicy, and absolutely comforting.
Oh, BTW. Our sever is absolutely amazing, super helpful and very nice .
If you’re looking for authentic Korean flavors, high-quality meat, and amazing sauces all in one place, this spot is a must-try. Highly recommended!“

“One of the best Sichuan spots I’ve tried recently. The food tastes very authentic and every dish came out full of flavor.
The Leshan Beef (跷脚牛肉) was definitely the highlight for me — the broth was rich and comforting, the beef was super tender, and the flavors were layered in a really traditional way. The 毛血旺 was also excellent: spicy, numbing, and packed with ingredients, but still balanced instead of just pure heat. You can tell the kitchen knows what they’re doing.
We also liked how fast the dishes came out even though the restaurant was busy. Service was friendly and the atmosphere felt lively and casual, great for family dinners or eating with friends.
Will definitely come back to try more dishes next time.“

“The Hainan chicken is really good, the rice is good too, but grilled chicken is little too dry. Portion is okay, but I wish they give more chicken and less rice. Plenty of seats nearby, but not very clean and can get very crowded sometimes.“

“The food was great, ambiance was very nice as well as the service . James K was a phenomenal server and even cooked our food for us when he didn’t have to, he explained the menu clearly especially since it was our first time there and gave a brief description of the meats we were eating. 10/10 highly recommend and will be back again!“

“I was surprised to see a location outside of a mall or a supermarket. The food itself isn't bad, but the rice bowls are a bit bland all across the board. Great if you want to load up on cheap carbs, but otherwise it's better off being in a food court.“

“Eight of us were there for a High School reunion on a Wednesday from 5:00 to mid-nite. The food was excellent for beers with old friends. The service ladies polite, friendly and attentive. The ambiance cozy, pleasant as an upscale bar. The karaoke was a bit loud so we had to shout when talking, but I guess it's expected of a karaoke place. We will return for another get-together.“

“Love Dumpling Time in Santana Row, but it was Jaylen's and the rest of the servers' phenomenal service that really stood out. He was friendly, attentive, quick, and overall provided excellent service. The rest of the servers were great too, but Jayden was our server so he's the star of this review here. Dumpling Time was smart to have hired him. We will definitely come back, for the delicious food, the amazing atmosphere, and for the service we received here today.“
“Visited last week for dinner and ordered the Bird's Nest. I placed and paid for my order at the kiosk. When the food is ready you get a text message on your phone. Within 10 minutes the food was ready and it was nice and hot for a cold night. Also, it appears you can order on their website for pickup.“

“Very cozy Mom and Pop place! Seating area is nice and clean. They looked closed from the outside cause the doors are closed, but it’s open. They have free wifi so I think this would be a nice area to studyyyy. Wifi on their wall.
I got the Soursop tea. The sweetness was a little much at 75, would probably get 50 next time. First time trying soursop, its kinda like a weird yogurt?, but it was a good blend of the fruit plus orange slices and jasmine tea.
Excited to try their other fruit drinks! Might come back to check out the 12 food and drink deal 👀“

“This is base on Drink. We order Grapefruit Green Tea with 30 percent sugar ( no ice). We said No Pearl, so no charge. It was only 5.50 !!! only 6 dollar with tax. The other bubble tea place charge 7 dollars so this place has cheap drink. The guy did a great job. Most bubble tea place put too much sugar but he hardly put any sugar because we ask for only 30 percent. I think the next level up was 60 percent sugar? I wish they had 40 or 50 percent because I chose 30 percent but it was not sweet enough but he did a Great job because he mixed the Drink with alot of ice, then he strain the Ice out ( like real bartender) so the drink is cold but no ice. So I give him 6 star because he did great job. He was real busy because he had a Big Huge To Go order to fill so he was working very hard to finish the Big To Go order. So we wait patiently for our Drink. My Dad went to Bathroom & by the time he came back the Drink was ready. Im afraid to try the food because we went to South San Jose ( Eastridge) once? and the Shilin there was not good because Oyster soup hardly had oyster in South San Jose & Omelet had no Egg but had Rice cake Omelet which I cannot digest Rice Cake, so base on bad experience in Eastridge or South San Jose, I was afraid to try Omelet here. I might try it once next time if somebody respond and tell me there is some Egg ( and not just Rice Cake) in Omelet, then I will try food once a week. But for now, I will stick to just the cheap & wonderful bubble Tea drinks ( i order with no bubble)“

“I ordered two teriyaki chicken plate on UberEats. I had the option of white or brown rice, two side orders, and a sauce. For the sides I choose cucumber salad and vegetable egg rolls. For the sauce I choose their spicy special sauce (base seems like it’s mayo, sriracha, and their special blend of spices.
The rice was topped with cabbage and chicken. The chicken tasted similar to Hawaiian bbq rather than teriyaki. Chicken was moist. The cucumbers were refreshing. The vegetable egg rolls had good flavor and seasonings, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Overall, I thought the portion size was good, was pretty full off the plate. Chicken had a nice flavor to it. Note this place is a ghost kitchen.“

“An ideal healthy meal. All ingredients fresh. But the quantity was less than expected. Not sure if it is because the order was a takeaway.“
“Finally tried Congee King after they came up from LA! The weather has been cold and rainy, so a hot bowl of Teochew-style seafood congee was perfect.
We ordered the dried scallop & shrimp congee and added a whole roe crab — super fresh, naturally sweet, and no pre-made taste at all. The crab was packed with roe and the meat was firm and fresh. Three of us each had multiple bowls and couldn’t stop saying how good it was.
The braised dishes were okay, but the congee is definitely the star. Highly recommend if you love authentic Teochew seafood porridge!“

“We tried International kitchen for lunch. This is similar to Thai food. The food is pretty authentic and tastes decent. They have a special going on at this moment with buy one and get one free entree.
The crowd size is decent around lunch time. You ordered from the kiosk and service is quite fast. Overall, this is a good place for family meals and take out. They have outside seating and pretty much a self service restaurant, cleaning up after you ate.
Overall is a very nice place to try if you are in the Milpitas area.“
