“I’ve been here a few times now, whenever I’m feeling under the weather or just want something warm and soothing, their congee always hits the spot. There’s something incredibly comforting about a steaming clay pot of fresh seafood congee, especially on a cold day.
The standout dish for me is the seafood congee with crab. The seafood tastes fresh, the broth is rich and flavorful！“

“Had an excellent experience at Hungry Cow! From the moment we walked in, everything was top-notch. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit.
The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the portions were generous. It's hard to find anything to complain about because everything was done so well.
Overall, an outstanding dining experience. No complaints at all—just great food, great service, and great value. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Hungry Cow to anyone looking for a fantastic meal!“

Bamboo Shoot Shredded Pork - this was an unique item, I've never seen this anywhere before. The pork was tender and had good flavor. The bamboo shoots were soft and had good texture but not as much flavor as the pork.

It felt like each dish tasted just about the same. The wontons and the spicy beef noddle tasted very similar in that the broth was the same. The dumpling and the beef weren’t season too much.
The pork knuckle rice was really good. I enjoyed that very much.“

“Food here is so good. We got the lemon pepper wings, lemongrass chicken, and roti pizza and everything was so delicious. Not greasy and yet everything was well seasoned. Definitely one of our favorite Bay Area spots for chicken now. Just amazing thank you.“

“My God, their HONEY WALNUT CHICKEN is ridiculously delicious! I always ask for it extra crispy with the sauce on the side (so it doesn't get soggy) and extra sauce. It's like honey walnut shrimp but with chicken. I also get the beef chow mein mmmmm so yummy!! It's a little bit pricey but so worth it! If anyone ever wants to get me a gift for whatever occasion... “Good legit Japanese restaurant. The chicken karaage was very tender and juicy. For some reason it was very spicy. The sukiyaki was ok. The beef was a little tough but tasted good. We also got a teriyaki salmon and assorted tempura. The salmon was a little over cooked. which I expected it to be better. All in all a great place for a good representation of Japanese cuisine.“
