“This is my go to pho place with really good food and very reasonable prices. Thepho quality isn’t the most consistent, and i would say their regular pho on the weekends often taste better than during the week. That’s why I always go with bun bo hue cuz the quality of that is very consistent and you can’t go wrong with it. Other items ate also really good but i usually just get pho.“

“Hands down the kindest person of this era fed me! I was on my way home to Sacramento after my daily work shift in San Jose, hungry & tired, I decided to check out shihlin. On arrival the kind lady with a beautiful smile prepared the food quickly, it’s was delectable, the macros were great, the place was clean, I was accommodated with a yummy tea. “Reviews are so good that I drove out from CV to get a banh mi and egg rolls. I got extra pate on a cold cut banh mi. Banh mi bread 8.5/10… crispy outside, soft inside, but I can tell it’s not the most fresh. The sandwich itself… 7/10 good amount of filling but bland tbh…Maybe get a bbq meat one instead of the cold cut? Got a banana latte too… not bad I enjoyed it. Prices were fair tho, I did like that. “Solid spot for some Chongqing style food. Everything I've had so far has been very fresh, quite flavourful, and generously portioned with reasonable prices. The ground pork dry noodles are my personal go-to favourite. As typical of Chongqing style food, the spice level really hits nicely! Service is polite and fairly quick. The restaurant is pretty well kept and clean as well. Definitely recommend checking this place out.“

Everything we ordered was good. Chicken and duck is probably what they were best known for. The pork nuckle was soft but not super flavorful. The intestines were good.

James K was a phenomenal server and even cooked our food for us when he didn’t have to, he explained the menu clearly especially since it was our first time there and gave a brief description of the meats we were eating. 10/10 highly recommend and will be back again!“
