“I wasn't planning on eating here. I was driving down Main Street looking for lunch when Tri-Valley Bistro caught my eye. A convenient parking spot sealed the deal, so I figured, why not?
The greeting was a little awkward when we were asked if we had a reservation for lunch, but things quickly turned around. I ordered the salmon sandwich, and it completely stole the show.
This is easily one of the better salmon sandwich I've had. The salmon was perfectly cooked, the toppings were fresh and balanced, and the house-baked bread was the real secret weapon: crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. One bite in, and any awkward first impressions were forgotten. I'll definitely be back.”
“The best Authentic Mediterranean Food in Bay Area Clean ,friendly , resonable prices !”

To top it off, they’ve got a ton of craft beers on tap, and they’re constantly bringing in new ones! Terrific atmosphere!”

“A great asset for Pleasanton amidst the countless Chinese, Indian and Sushi places. Burmese cuisine is flavorful and delicious, the owners are great hardworking people and they have a full bar. My all time favorite for casual bites, take friends and colleagues for a meal. Glad to have them in our hometown.”
“Great find for dessert. We had their Dubai chocolate crepes, and they were made from scratch to order and absolutely delicious. The only problem was that they were so big that I wish we had gotten only one for two people. Staff was super friendly also.”

“We ordered from Urban Momos and it turned out to be an excellent choice for Indo-Chinese cuisine. The dishes had the perfect balance of spices — flavorful without being overpowering. The quality of ingredients was impressive, and the portions were generous.
Definitely a reliable go-to place for satisfying Indo-Chinese cravings. Highly recommended!”

“A wonderful winery with great selection of wines. Was appealing enough to become a member. Relaxing atmosphere with open air and covered patio to enjoy your wine. Has a fair selection of pairings to enjoy with your wine.”
“One of Pleasanton’s finest restaurant for sure. Why - exotic Guyanese fusion cuisine that should please every palate. Very attentive service and a full bar. What else can you ask for? And yes, the nicest chef cum owner - Maurice and his son are real delightful people.”

“Food was great and so was the service…. Securely going back again!!!”
“Great atmosphere, serving staff is friendly and on point with ensuring you have what you desire and the food was phenomenal. I had the lamb chops with mint jelly and sautéed spinach. Lamb chop cooked perfectly that it melt in your mouth with tons of flavor. My raspberry lemon drop was a bit on the strong side but when I made mention they remedied it by adding a little more simple syrup … perfect.”

“Warm, inviting hole in the wall kinda place. Their food always hits the spot. We’ve been here many times and never had a bad experience.
Personally I keep coming back for their broth based dishes. They’re so flavorful. Perfect for when you’re feeling under the weather or just want something light.
The guy at the counter is really nice but can have a bit of a problem communicating. Luckily they have a QR code menu that works well. Just don’t request modifications verbally without a translator.”
“It’s been a long time since I’ve had a Nations Burger and I was hesitant because I know they put Miracle Whip on their burgers and I love Mayo, but they have regular Mayo now and their Burgers are SOOO good it tastes like the 4th of July— unpopular opinion I think it’s way better than In and Out. The service here was really the cherry on top to my experience. Everyone here is so kind and helpful. I just came back for my second time this week!”
“Delicious and definitely fulfilled our sushi craving. I highly recommend Pocket Sushi no chopsticks required easy to eat, full of flavor, and so pretty to look at. I stopped by after work to pick up a few different types of pockets, the service was great and the food was fresh and made quickly. I waited no more then ten minutes for them to make my six item order and they brought it out to my car which was also very nice. We will for sure be back for more!”
“Super legit Taiwanese bubble tea spot! The cashier was really friendly and made the whole experience even better. I got the peach green tea with milk foam and some popcorn chicken—both were so good. The milk foam was super creamy, and the popcorn chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. Definitely coming back!”

“We ordered three types of biryani: Hyderabadi, paneer, and bhajji. We all liked the Hyderabadi the most, but the paneer one was also good. The bhajji biryani was okay, though the bhajji itself was better than the biryani. One biryani is usually enough for two people. There was kids menu separately which also has so many options.”
“I and my husband took our sons, grandson, sister and brother-in-law to dinner, waiters were pleasant and helpful and the food just so delicious. A member in our group is a retired chef and said it was the best Chinese dinner he had had for a long time. Just clean Chinese cooking done the way it should be, We all agreed. Thank you for making the end of 2023 a delightful experience.”
“The food was wonderful. Flavorful with beautiful plating. The restaurant was a simple but classy environment. Just the type of place I like to enjoy a meal.”
“Even with all the sushi places opening up in the Tri-Valley Kaki Sushi is still the best. High quality, great service and fair prices. A must visit if you're from here or in the area.”

“I went for my monthly turkey dip again last night. Once again the French fries were perfect, the dip was giant and the au jus was piping hot. The multiple screens all had different sports, so I could watch spring training baseball while my dad could watch his thing, ( I don't much pay attention once I focus). The service is impressive! There were only three of them, including the bartender, and we had everything we needed before we knew we needed it. Love these guys and I look forward to seeing them next month.”
“I'm deeply grateful to Inklings' leadership for cancelling your partnership with The Global Leadership Network and Global Leadership Summit, in light of this organisation's ongoing choice to publicly honour their unrepentant sexual predator founder, Bill Hybels, rather than publicly, unambiguously naming and condemning his decades of sexual harassment and sexual assault. I see you standing up with and for those who have been harmed by religious predators, exactly like Jesus did. Thank you so much.”
“The deep dish pizza is really great. I have tried deep dish pizza in various locations around the country including Chicago and Zachary's does an authentic take on the style. I believe I ordered the Mediterranean pizza they offer. My wife, who doesn't like this style of pizza also liked the pizza. The Pleasanton location has great outdoor seating as well. The service was a bit slow. I don't mean waiting for the pizza, more in getting the drinks and refills. Otherwise great place. I'll definitely come back.”
“My wife and I have been dining at Gold Chopsticks for years and we love it. They have an extensive menu and I love trying all the amazing dishes. You could easily get hooked on their Pot Stickers with their homemade sauce, Wor Won Ton Soup, Sweet & Sour Prawns, Combination Fried Rice, Broccoli Beef, etc. And I really don't know how anybody can beat their Black Pepper Beef Sizzling Platter, it is awesome on so many levels!!!”
“Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at a fancy restaurant with a specialty in guacamole and waffles, and let me tell you, it was an experience like no other. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm welcome and the ambiance was simply stunning. The décor was elegant and sophisticated, with soft lighting and comfortable seating. The atmosphere was perfect for a special night out.As for the food, the guacamole was hands down the highlight of the meal. It was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice and zest. The restaurant takes great pride in sourcing only the finest ingredients, which is evident in the taste of the guacamole. I also appreciated the variety of options for toppings and dipping sauces, which made for a unique and personalized experience. The waffles were another standout item on the menu. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the toppings were creative and delicious. Whether you prefer sweet or savory, there was something for everyone. I particularly loved the waffle with fresh berries and whipped cream. The service at this restaurant was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly, and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The attention to detail, from the presentation of the food to the impeccable table setting, was a true testament to the high standards of the restaurant. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this fancy restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Whether you're a fan of guacamole and waffles or not, the combination of flavors and the quality of the food will leave you in awe. The atmosphere and service are top-notch, making it the perfect destination for a special occasion or a night out. Overall, this restaurant exceeded all of my expectations and I can't wait to return!
Vegetarian options: As a vegan, I often struggle to find restaurants that cater to my dietary needs, but this place exceeded my expectations. The menu had a variety of dishes that were clearly labeled as vegan, making it easy for me to choose what to order. I was able to try several dishes, including a flavorful roasted vegetable bowl and a delicious plant-based burger, both of which were fresh and beautifully presented.
Dietary restrictions: Milk is a crucial ingredient in the making of waffles, a popular breakfast food around the world. It provides the necessary moisture for the batter to mix evenly and achieve the desired texture. The type of milk used in the recipe can greatly impact the taste, texture, and overall quality of the waffles. The most commonly used milk in waffle recipes is cow’s milk. Cow’s milk is rich in protein and calcium, and it provides the waffles with a creamy texture and a mild flavor. Whole milk is often used as it provides a higher fat content, making the waffles tender and fluffy. Buttermilk is another popular option for making waffles. Buttermilk has a tangy flavor that gives the waffles a unique taste, and its acidity reacts with the baking soda in the batter to produce a light and fluffy texture. For those who prefer plant-based alternatives, there are several options available. Almond milk, soy milk, and oat milk are popular alternatives that can be used in waffle recipes. These plant-based milks can provide a lighter flavor and texture, making them ideal for those who prefer a healthier option. Additionally, they are a great alternative for those with lactose intolerance or a dairy allergy. The amount of milk used in the recipe can also play a role in the final outcome of the waffles. Too much milk can make the batter too thin, resulting in waffles that are dense and heavy. On the other hand, not enough milk can make the batter too thick, resulting in waffles that are dry and crunchy. Finding the right balance of milk is essential for making perfect waffles.
Parking: Upon arrival, I circled the block several times searching for a spot, but all the nearby parking options were full. I eventually had to park several blocks awa”
“I went in to try a new drink matcha coconut water. I know it sounds gross. AND IT WAS lol ! But I hopped on the hype train and definitely came right off. Oh well! I went to order something else and he Ethan (I think that’s his name) said it’s okay the drink is on the house. I told him many times it’s okay I’ll pay. And he didn’t want to let me pay. He told me I should pay for something I like. Also that many people came in to try that drink and said it’s not good lol. I appreciate his honesty, and his kindness. He didn’t have to do that and that’s why I love coming here all the time ! They are always soo soo kind!”
“We had an event after a memorial service at Sidetrack and can’t say enough good things. Todd and everyone that helped us were amazing. The food (big kudos on the cauliflower), the atmosphere and service was incredible. We were in the Angela Patio on a rainy night and the patio was cozy with the heaters and the perfect place to have a special event. Thank you Todd.. everyone was so kind and you all took such great care of our family! I would recommend you to everyone.”
“This is my go to pho place with really good food and very reasonable prices. Thepho quality isn’t the most consistent, and i would say their regular pho on the weekends often taste better than during the week. That’s why I always go with bun bo hue cuz the quality of that is very consistent and you can’t go wrong with it. Other items ate also really good but i usually just get pho.”

“Absolutely love Mylapore! It’s hands-down one of the best spots in the East Bay for authentic South Indian food. The idlis are incredibly soft, the sambar is flavorful, and you can't leave without getting their traditional filter coffee. Great service and consistent quality every time. Highly recommend!”
“You want a classic dive bar with living room hang vibes, this is your spot. The bar staff is amazing, Sirene is my fav but all the girls there are top tier individuals. I’d say come visit, but I kinda want to keep this spot my SECRET! Ask for the “Dewi”, you won’t be disappointed!!”
“A little shop in the stripe serving skinless moist chicken over rice. Comes with sauce and soup for take out. The chicken is not gamey which is big plus for me. Healthy choice. It’s refreshing over fried/oily food. I only wish they gave a little more veggie and sauce or ask if we’d like some sauce over the rice. I found the sauce not enough for my chicken and rice but still delicious. Would def return when around the area.”
“5 stars all-around!
have eaten at most of the notable places in Pleasanton for Mexican food, Don Chepe takes my vote.
Family operated, the staff is always super friendly.
The first thing I always try in a restaurant is thier beans. if your beans are bad, how I expect anything else to be good!?
I take an order of beans to go!
Quality and flavor of food is authentic, the slasas, so good.
I live out of town now, but from Pleasanton originally.
I come here as often as I can...
Definitely recommend trying them out for yourselves!”
“3.5/5 rounded off to 4 because of the salsa bar. Got the super shrimp burrito + 3 chicken enchilada that ended up as $50 paid with card at the restaurant. i think that is about 20-25% more than what im willing to pay for this much food especially for take out.
Pros: food is typical Mexican fare. Predictable and tasty.
Cons: too pricey.”
“Very good food. We ate it up. Reasonable prices we can still afford. We shared a super burrito. They were kind enough to cut it and s serve it on two plates for us. We didn’t have to ask. Very courteous and pleasant. The chicken burrito had a lot of flavor. We’re going back for enchiladas and tacos next. Wonderful location, close to old Main St with all the shops Merry loves to see.”

“Food and cocktails were good. Table water tasted like tap water.”
“We had very good service. The food we had was also good & its presentation was excellent.
The table & seats were very oriental Asian and fits the nice & pleasant looking decor.
Highly recommended to try at least once when in Dublin or Pleasanton.

“Their recent all you can eat with price of $29.99 is unbeatable deal! As a born and raised in Sichuan Chinese, I enjoyed their very authentic spicy pot very very much! There are many other flavors to choose from and so many varieties of sauces to add to your taste bud! Service is excellent! Food is fresh. I plan to go there at least once a month to satisfy my gravy craving for very authentic Chinese hot pot. On top of that, they also have authentic Sichuan dishes to enjoy!”

“One of my favorite spots in the bay!! I always get the mango matcha, a soft serve, and some taiyaki to share with friends and family!
Their soft serve is super smooth and milky, and I love the sweetness of the mango matcha (I get it 25% sweet and find it perfectly balanced without being too bitter or sweet)!”
“I have been searching for a nice quality matcha cafe on this side of the Bay! I haven't had an egg sando like the one here since I went to Japan last year. If you're not into pork, make sure you indicate “no bacon” and the strawberry cream sandwich is also so good! The owner of the cafe is very sweet. Please keep in mind that she is by herself so give yourself time to get your order. The cafe is super cute and it was a nice relaxing experience.”
“Brought the family for a delicious lunch today. The service was super fast! Plenty of clean tables and even a soft couch. We ordered the chicken quesadilla. It was perfectly grilled and tasted great. We had a personal cheese pizza. That definitely didn’t last that long. It was the perfect size. I had the all beef bagel dog for the first time in my life. It was nice for the cold day that we had today! And finally the beef and cheese piroshki was also my first time in my life. It was similar to a burger but completely sealed with the bread covering the inside ingredients. Only two drinks for us. Oldschool lemonade and a mango smoothie. No leftovers here. Walked out full and happy! I want to thank the cashier Imelda. Come drop by and check out this cute little coffee shop!”
“As someone who’s lived in Pleasanton for years, I’ll admit I’ve become pretty particular—and honestly, a bit disappointed—when it comes to the breakfast and brunch options around town. It’s hard to find a place that really gets all the details right. But this spot was such a refreshing change.
This morning, I met a very close friend for brunch, and we were lucky enough to sit outside on their beautifully decorated patio. It had such a calm, inviting atmosphere—exactly what I look for when I want to actually enjoy a slow morning and good conversation.
I couldn’t help but notice the little touches right away. The coffee cups and dishware were absolutely beautiful—thoughtful and elegant without feeling overdone. And the coffee itself? Genuinely excellent.
I ordered the veggie omelette, and it was exactly what I wish more places would serve—perfectly balanced, not overloaded, and not skimpy either. Just the right portion, cooked well, and satisfying without leaving me feeling weighed down. The fresh fruit on the side was a lovely compliment.
I walked away from brunch feeling completely satisfied—not just full, but happy with the entire experience. I’ll absolutely be coming back.”
“Planta is in a really cute spot in the heart of Pleasanton. The staff were very warm and friendly.
I felt like the lattes were a little mild on the flavor syrups, but they were decent quality and enjoyable. The breakfast sandwich was also decent.
It’s a solid spot to grab a coffee if you’re in the area.”
“I came here for Michigan vs UCONN and left knowing I'll be back with the family to have them try some of the fantastic food options. This visit was very unexpected, but really glad that I came to enjoy the food and drinks that were offered. Three drinks with appetizer and entree later, every part of me left happy.”
“We have been here almost every other week and this is at this point our fav restaurant in the area. Consistently good food (naan , biryani, malai kofta, chicken curries, very reasonable prices and very good staff who are courteous every single time. Not to mention free tea who doesn’t like that - hoping they maintain the consistency and fair prices we will keep coming back.”
“ANTERA food is always delicious. I tried both their buffet and Togo. it is fresh and absolutely new flavors. I like their biryanis, starters and their Naatu Naatu wings are the best. Restaurant Ambience is also classy. I would definitely recommend Antera to others who wants to taste delicious Andhra food”
“Josh was an excellent server and absolutely made our first dining experience at chubby cattle. Our only complaint is that it got a bit too hot, but overall amazing!”
