“No need to go to Bodega Bay or Embarcadero SF, so glad this opened to satisfy my seafood fix. Friendly staff, spacious place, reasonable price, and the seafood selection big and quality is as good as any in the overated overpriced touristy seafront restaurants. So glad this opened. In the picture is my order of calamari, 12 oz chunky clam chowder, 12 oz chunky cioppino, and the spacial menu cheesy crab bread. Good portions, with still to take home, and very good quality. Will come back here again with friends and family for sure.“

“Try their Al Pator! If you like meat, you can't go wrong with that choice. I'd be thrilled if they switched up to a more hardy tortilla, in-house made chip. The hot sauces seem to be made by them, they are wonderful. The atmosphere is basic, nothing special. I've taken out numerous times.“

“I stayed here while traveling for work. On the day my plane landed, I didn't get to the restaurant until 9:30 (they close at 10:00!) and I felt so guilty ordering food so late. But the bartender, Rafael, was so kind and attentive. He made me feel very welcome.

I am a vegetarian, so I got the veggie wrap with french fries. The french fries were crispy, and the veggies in the wrap were crunchy and fresh. The wrap and the fries were both huge, generous portions, which was great!

After flying home, I realized I forgot my receipt. I contacted this restaurant and Rafael went out of his way to send me a copy for my expense report. THANK YOU RAFAEL YOU ROCK!!!“

“Great atmosphere, serving staff is friendly and on point with ensuring you have what you desire and the food was phenomenal. I had the lamb chops with mint jelly and sautéed spinach. Lamb chop cooked perfectly that it melt in your mouth with tons of flavor. My raspberry lemon drop was a bit on the strong side but when I made mention they remedied it by adding a little more simple syrup … perfect.“

“On a recommendation I took my 12 year old grandson for a treat. I personally am not a seafood person. The staff was amazing. The chef chatted with him as my grandson was telling him over and over again how great the food was. Let me tell you this boy had the best meal. This was over a week ago and he’s still talking about the oysters, mussels, and the hamachi crudo he had. He had seconds on his oysters 🦪. He said that was the best meal ever. “Their menu has so much variety. There’s something for every seafood lover. I tried their new items and everything was so flavorful. I would definitely go back. The customer service was excellent. “Good place to take big groups, went with 11 family member on a Friday night for dinner and they accommodated well. The seafood tastes fresh and the portions are good.
The garlic noodles are a must try.

On the weekdays it's not busy for lunch and they have a great happy hour menu, M-F 2-5pm.
Oysters are fresh and creamy. Edemame came in a big sharing portion.
I like the shrimp and fish tacos, only on the happy hour menu.
The chicken can be dry sometimes but the flavors are good.“

“November 17 was our first time at Simply Fondue for a few years. It was as good as/better than I remembered. Food was excellent and Chloe was very friendly and attentive. She explained all of our options. Close to Bankhead Theater is a bonus.“

“We really enjoyed our experience at LuLu's. I got the impression this is a place alot of locals go to which makes it more special in my eyes. We split the Golden Beet and Citrus Salad which the kitchen was nice enough to split it for us, giving each of us our own serving. My husband had the grilled octopus. He's hard to please and he said it was very good. I had the lobster tortelloni. The sauce was light with a hint of sweetness and the the tortelloni was stuffed with lobster meat. Execellent. Then came dessert. We had a slice of Key Lime pie and I can honestly say it was the best I have ever had. Even better then Key West Key Lime pie. Dense but creamy with just the right amount of key lime flavor. Not overpowering. Can't wait to go back when we visit HHI again.“

“This isn’t just chicken soup - it’s healing soup!

I wasn’t feeling well and my BF brought me chicken soup from Sai’s. It was amazing and you can tell it’s made from scratch - the real deal. I was surprised the following day by my health scores. I actually got really good sleep (rate these days) with an hour of REM and my heart rate variability was the highest I have had since tracking! Wow!“

“Absolutely amazing food! I ordered the oxtails with rice and gravy, yams, mac and cheese, greens, cornbread, and fried red snapper. I can honestly say the oxtails were the best I’ve ever had from a restaurant! They were incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The rice and gravy were just as good and complemented the oxtails perfectly.

The cornbread was another standout. It was absolutely delicious! Everything was full of flavor, and you can tell they put real effort into their cooking. The portions were generous, and the food tasted like a good home-cooked Southern meal.

I don’t usually go out of my way to leave reviews, but this place definitely deserves one. If you’re thinking about trying the oxtails, do yourself a favor and order them! I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“This is genuinely one of the most neighborly locations in the whole Bay. Food is amazing, I have been going here every Saturday, and unlike the corporate fast food slop, this place actually has good ingredients, and would even let me off a few cents when I was at my low. Portion size is great, with my garlic fries filled to the brim, and their ghost pepper sauce is to die for. Food gets ready pretty quick, within 10 mins and very rarely going over. Atmosphere is great with a nice outdoor seating and a good view of the hills. Always will find people eating on the outdoor tables.“

“We went to this place for the first time, not expecting much. It just looks likes a generic place in a shopping strip from the outside. When we entered, we immediately saw how clean it was and how friendly everyone was there. They were very attentive throughout the course of our meal as well! They have a little robot that brings your food out to you but the server is right there ready to get the food off of the robot waiter. The food was absolutely divine! We got the fish and a shrimp dinner instead of the combination plates. The salads were great as well! Overall, our experience was extremely satisfactory and I would recommend this place to anyone. “Primavera is a great place to eat, the chicken saltimbocca was cooked perfectly. While most restaurants have been increasing prices and skimping on ingredients my dish was reasonably priced and delicious with a perfect sized piece of chicken, prosciutto. I was disappointed the bread and caponata sauce was an additional $6.00 but I guess that is what keeps the other dish prices down. A great place to treat yourself to a wonderful meal.“

“My dad went to pick up Chinese food at New Yong Kang, which is where we sometimes eat. We used to dine there years ago, but we normally do that for take out not. We probably just don’t have time to dine in since we have things to do.

It’s been a while since I last visited their restaurant. So I don’t know how it looks like now. I think it’s like other Chinese restaurants, but I’ll have to check it out if I get a chance.

Anyways, the food is good there. They gave us good portions which is enough for a family for at least 4. Some dishes are smaller than ones, which is why we don’t get too much of them. For the noodles, they separate them from other ingredients and we do have to mix them. I guess it’s to prevent spills when transporting the food back home or other destinations.

I’ll have to take a look at their menus and see what they have since I’m not that familiar with it. Again, it’s my parents that usually go there.“

“It is a hidden gem in the gas station, the fried chicken is always fresh and hot (and they are Halal certified), and the uncle at the register is very friendly.

What surprised me more is their Sides.
While the seasoning of their chicken sometimes runs a little too salty, the sides just balance it out perfectly.
- The Blueberry Biscuit has the perfect amount of sweetness, it's my “must have” if it isn’t sold out yet.
- Mashed potatoes with gravy is creamy while not being runny.
- Usually I am not a big fan of beans, but their Red Beans & Rice actually taste good.“

“This is literally one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ordered from. First time I tried it I got the lunch special. Got orange chicken and chow mein. Massive portions and delicious flavor. Second time was DoorDash for dinner and there was great attention to detail in the packaging (ex/ lemon chicken had sauce separate and 2 small holes cut in the corner of the box to allow for airflow/crispness in delivery) and large portions once again with the chow mein too. Everything is done right here. Definitely my new go-to spot for Chinese food.“

“Not sure how this is less than 4 stars considering it holds its own weight in an area with many other great restaurants. It's a traditional Cantonese seafood restaurant with the craziest selection of crabs, lobsters, and fish. We've celebrated family events with their set menus which were phenomenally authentic and delicious, and gotten takeout for regular dinners which arrived perfectly cooked still.

Service is extremely attentive (although don't expect warm fuzzy pleasantries if it's busy) and they've often gifted us dessert which was very kind of them.

Definitely a local gem.“
