Friendly staff, spacious place, reasonable price, and the seafood selection big and quality is as good as any in the overated overpriced touristy seafront restaurants. So glad this opened. In the picture is my order of calamari, 12 oz chunky clam chowder, 12 oz chunky cioppino, and the spacial menu cheesy crab bread. Good portions, with still to take home, and very good quality. Will come back here again with friends and family for sure.“

“The gym is great. Pretty much everything you could ask for. Giant tennis area, 2 basketball courts, lots of cardiov machines, yoga studios with lots of classes, I usually don't have to wait for anything in the weight room. The big drawback is the cost. Very expensive membership. I wouldn't be going here if I had to pay for cost of membership.“

“Ordered some catering trays of enchiladas for a party. The enchiladas were packaged well in lidded, heavy trays. They were hot so a restaurant worker carried them to my car. They were delicious--especially the mole sauce--and everyone at the party complimented us and wanted to know where we got them.“

Lamb chop cooked perfectly that it melt in your mouth with tons of flavor. The chef chatted with him as my grandson was telling him over and over again how great the food was. Let me tell you this boy had the best meal. This was over a week ago and he’s still talking about the oysters, mussels, and the hamachi crudo he had. He had seconds on his oysters 🦪. He said that was the best meal ever. “Their menu has so much variety. There’s something for every seafood lover. I tried their new items and everything was so flavorful. I would definitely go back. The customer service was excellent. “I was looking for Fish and Chips and saw that this was local. I decided to give it a try after seeing some reviews. I ordered the 3 piece fish and chips, and the food was okay. The batter was light and crispy, and also not oily. However, the batter did not have much flavor to it. The fish were nice portions, but also needed some seasoning of sorts. I definitely doused my Fish in the Malt Vinegar and added some Tartar sauce to add flavor. The fries feel like they were generic and out of a bulk pack at Costco, but they were crispy nonetheless. Anyway, overall a decent place and the gentleman working the counter seemed real nice. The place itself only has like 6 tables and is definitely a casual vibe. I like to support small businesses, so I'll be back.“

“If you’re looking for amazing Chinese food, Mayflower is the place to go. The quality of the food is consistently outstanding, and the portions are generous—definitely great value for the price.

The highlight for me is the Peking duck. It’s perfectly prepared, with crispy skin, tender meat, and all the traditional accompaniments. Easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere.

Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere made the dining experience even better. The bus boy named Christian went out of his way to keep us our table clean and refilling our drinks.

“We went to this place for the first time, not expecting much. It just looks likes a generic place in a shopping strip from the outside. When we entered, we immediately saw how clean it was and how friendly everyone was there. They were very attentive throughout the course of our meal as well! They have a little robot that brings your food out to you but the server is right there ready to get the food off of the robot waiter. The food was absolutely divine! We got the fish and a shrimp dinner instead of the combination plates. The salads were great as well! Overall, our experience was extremely satisfactory and I would recommend this place to anyone. It was a delightful surprise!“

Unfortunately (for me) last night I deviated from my norm and ordered the London broil. It was over cooked (I requested medium) and I struggled through it. “We are visiting from the uk and always love to visit Cattlemen’s in Dixon. We have been twice this vacation and both times were fantastic! We visited last night, 13th August and were served by Jess, she was just amazing, everything was perfect, food was out of this world and we were looked after with impeccable service and some great humour thrown in! “Probably the best fried chicken in the area. It’s juicy, crispy yet crunchy, not too oily, and doesn’t seem to give me heartburn after consuming. The downsides are that they don’t have real fries, only wedges, and the large mashed potatoes really did not have enough gravy. The sauces are also extra. Their biscuits are one of the best, though, with honey baked in, hitting that perfect flaky / crumbly biscuit texture.

The location is a bit weird, being inside a gas station. The wait can get long (~25 minutes) if they have to fry more chicken, so call and order ahead for pickup.“

“I haven't been to a buffet buffet in years, even before Covid. It was nice seeing hot food out in the open again like the good old days. This buffet had a huge variety of different cuisines from sushi, chinese food, crab legs, build your own mala bowl, dim sum, and even cooked to order steaks! Not going to lie, but I was a little hesitant at the thought of eating at a buffet again, but everything was very fresh and the food area was clean. The staff rotated the dishes out frequently and each item was kept nice and hot.

Bamboo Shoot Shredded Pork - this was an unique item, I've never seen this anywhere before. The pork was tender and had good flavor. The bamboo shoots were soft and had good texture but not as much flavor as the pork.

“Everything on the menu is great. Friendly staff, they feel like family when you're there. Been here dozen times and consistently amazed. I didn't like Hot and Sour soup before I tried it here. I always make sure to get it when I'm here, as I try it at other places and nothing compares. Other favorites are honey walnut shrimp, chow main (combo but really any choice is good choice), and beef with black pepper sauce. My Grandpa would always get sweet sour fish fillet, which was tasty but not my first choice. Try this place next time you head out in search of a great Chinese Restaurant.
