I'm not a poke person. I'd stay FAR away from raw fish, and wouldn't appreciate it in the few times I had it. So whenever we came to Poke Don (because my wife loves poke), I'd always opt for the cooked "poke bake." Which is basically like a whole bowl of a deconstructed Lion King roll. And I loved it. For years, I had the poke bake. And it'd be enough if this review ended here. I'd probably give it 5 stars based on their poke bake alone - because I can eat it (since it's cooked)...read full review
Place was always packed when I try to come here. I was able to go there was no line. I got a large poke bowl with steamed rice, salmon, tuna, albacore, and scallops. I love that they have a variety of different mushrooms and add-ones. This time the bowl wasn't that good. It tasted like they only put a little bit of sauce and the rice did not taste fresh. It's a little bit on the expensive side as well. Maybe I came on a bad day but I'll try it again soon.
