“Stopped by Bronzes Taqueria and was really impressed! I ordered a mix of tacos and a sope, and everything hit the spot. I asked for the tripa tacos extra crispy, and they absolutely delivered perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The lengua tacos were tender and tasty, and the asada sope was the star of the meal.
The sope is what earned them the full five stars for me. The lettuce was fresh, the cheese and cream had great flavor, and the shell itself was incredible deep fried but not greasy, with a soft, satisfying bite. If you’ve never had a sope before, it’s like a deep-fried corn bowl, and Bronzes nailed it better than most places I’ve tried.
Portions are generous I didn’t even finish all my tacos because I was full after the sope and three tacos. Great flavors, great portions, and solid service. Highly recommend giving this spot a try!“
“Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at a fancy restaurant with a specialty in guacamole and waffles, and let me tell you, it was an experience like no other. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm welcome and the ambiance was simply stunning. The décor was elegant and sophisticated, with soft lighting and comfortable seating. The atmosphere was perfect for a special night out.As for the food, the guacamole was hands down the highlight of the meal. It was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice and zest. The restaurant takes great pride in sourcing only the finest ingredients, which is evident in the taste of the guacamole. I also appreciated the variety of options for toppings and dipping sauces, which made for a unique and personalized experience. The waffles were another standout item on the menu. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the toppings were creative and delicious. Whether you prefer sweet or savory, there was something for everyone. I particularly loved the waffle with fresh berries and whipped cream. The service at this restaurant was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly, and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The attention to detail, from the presentation of the food to the impeccable table setting, was a true testament to the high standards of the restaurant. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this fancy restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Whether you're a fan of guacamole and waffles or not, the combination of flavors and the quality of the food will leave you in awe. The atmosphere and service are top-notch, making it the perfect destination for a special occasion or a night out. Overall, this restaurant exceeded all of my expectations and I can't wait to return!
Vegetarian options: As a vegan, I often struggle to find restaurants that cater to my dietary needs, but this place exceeded my expectations. The menu had a variety of dishes that were clearly labeled as vegan, making it easy for me to choose what to order. I was able to try several dishes, including a flavorful roasted vegetable bowl and a delicious plant-based burger, both of which were fresh and beautifully presented.
Dietary restrictions: Milk is a crucial ingredient in the making of waffles, a popular breakfast food around the world. It provides the necessary moisture for the batter to mix evenly and achieve the desired texture. The type of milk used in the recipe can greatly impact the taste, texture, and overall quality of the waffles. The most commonly used milk in waffle recipes is cow’s milk. Cow’s milk is rich in protein and calcium, and it provides the waffles with a creamy texture and a mild flavor. Whole milk is often used as it provides a higher fat content, making the waffles tender and fluffy. Buttermilk is another popular option for making waffles. Buttermilk has a tangy flavor that gives the waffles a unique taste, and its acidity reacts with the baking soda in the batter to produce a light and fluffy texture. For those who prefer plant-based alternatives, there are several options available. Almond milk, soy milk, and oat milk are popular alternatives that can be used in waffle recipes. These plant-based milks can provide a lighter flavor and texture, making them ideal for those who prefer a healthier option. Additionally, they are a great alternative for those with lactose intolerance or a dairy allergy. The amount of milk used in the recipe can also play a role in the final outcome of the waffles. Too much milk can make the batter too thin, resulting in waffles that are dense and heavy. On the other hand, not enough milk can make the batter too thick, resulting in waffles that are dry and crunchy. Finding the right balance of milk is essential for making perfect waffles.
Parking: Upon arrival, I circled the block several times searching for a spot, but all the nearby parking options were full. I eventually had to park several blocks awa“

“This place is a gem! You simply can’t go wrong with their menu. So many options: tacos, tortas, carnitas, flautas, soups…. No matter what you try, the food is always delicious!
An absolute favorite for our family. Friendly staff and they are super accommodating when visiting with kids and small groups.
Try caldo de pollo if you are feeling down. You will feel better in a jiffy! The mojarra frita is simply amazing, so make sure to give it a try!“

“Selection of salsas top-notch. Warm tortilla chips a nice touch. Burrito was on the deliciously juicy side--and one of my favorites of all time. Came after fishing nearby but came back, out of my way 50 miles, for the burrito again before leaving town...“

“Very good food. We ate it up. Reasonable prices we can still afford. We shared a super burrito. They were kind enough to cut it and s serve it on two plates for us. We didn’t have to ask. Very courteous and pleasant. The chicken burrito had a lot of flavor. We’re going back for enchiladas and tacos next. Wonderful location, close to old Main St with all the shops Merry loves to see.“

“Mexican Lido’s (Pleasanton)beef and shrimp fajitas offer a tasty and satisfying dining experience. The beef fajitas are well-prepared with tender, juicy meat cooked fajita-style over grilled bell peppers and onions, complemented by Mexican rice, beans, and fresh tortillas. The shrimp fajitas stand out with fresh, flavorful shrimp also served with the classic sides and a fajita salad that enhances the meal. Customers appreciate the generous portion sizes and the vibrant presentation of these dishes.
The flavors are generally well-received, with the beef being juicy and not dry, though some reviewers noted the potential for a bit more seasoning to suit personal tastes. The shrimp fajitas are praised for their freshness and complementary seasoning. Overall, these fajitas reflect authentic Mexican flavors paired with good service and a pleasant dining atmosphere, making them a strong recommendation for those wanting classic Mexican fajitas in a well-put-together setting.“

“Been coming here for a few years, before the change in ownership. Could rely on “adequate” food, rounded out with strong margaritas.
Just came in to try again, as we heard the food had been “updated”. Pleasantly surprised - the food has stepped up, and they have added a few items to the menu, notably the Carne Melt…a fantastic twist on the Philly Cheesesteak. Very fresh and flavorful. I know you won’t expect to see it…or try it…when coming to a traditional Mexican restaurant, but I highly recommend it.
Oh…and the margaritas are fantastic …and strong. Be sure to give a smile to the bartender - Roxanne - she’s the best!
Nice job, Alberto’s!!“

“Taqueria El Gallo has pretty good food. I been here a few times and I usually order the super burrito that Is 15.99$ and the tacos are good too. 4 dollars for each taco which Is fine just a little greasy and dry. The service has to be better though, no greeting when you walk In and no thanks or have a good day just very silent. I asked for a few hot sauces and there was none in my bag. Prices are a little high here but still a good place to eat!“
