Very good food. We ate it up. Reasonable prices we can still afford. We shared a super burrito. They were kind enough to cut it and s serve it on two plates for us. We didn’t have to ask. Very courteous and pleasant.
The chicken burrito had a lot of flavor. We’re going back for enchiladas and tacos next.

Nice little establishment tucked into the downtown area. Not too busy, walked in and was greeted by a friendly gentleman that immediately took our order. Didn't wait long for the food to be served. Dishes ordered were, Nachos w/carne asada 8/10 lots of cheese and generous amount of guacamole. Birria Taco 10/10 very meaty and Birria was tasty. Cocina Mexico is a gem in downtown Pleasanton. Authentic, great Mexican food at reasonable cost. Our favorite dish is Chile Relleno! Anthony, the owner cares that diners have a good experience!

Cocina Mexico is a wonderful Mexican restaurant located in downtown Pleasanton. The menu features a variety of delectable dishes, including enchiladas, tacos, and killer burritos. Customers can enjoy bottomless tortilla chips and a selection of mild and spicy sauces, with generous portions that are sure to leave no one hungry. The prices are fair, making it an excellent choice for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Hands down the best nachos in town! Their burritos are also really good. Cocina Mexico has become a favorite, not just for the food, but for the whole experience. The staff is always so kind and welcoming, and there’s a warmth to the place. The outdoor patio is a great place to hang out, eat, and just slow down for a bit. The weekend special breakfast burrito is a staple, and the avocado salsa is creamy, bright, and has just the right kick. Cocina Mexico is a genuinely good place with good food, good people, and a lot of heart.
