“We have been to Diablo Taqueria several times in the last year and a half that we have been in Danville. This is not a fancy restaurant, but has simple, tasty Mexican food. Have had their quesadilla and their Mexican salad in a taco bowl - both consistently good. We are vegetarian - and they always have options for us and are willing to customize as needed. We made a rule for ourselves that we would not visit the same restaurant twice in the first year of being in the area in order to try more places - and we broke that rule for this restaurant - just cause it was a great place for a quick healthy lunch.“

“The best Mexican food in the Danville/San Ramon area is at El Nido. Delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine, especially the tacos and carnitas. Tasty margaritas. Fast, friendly service. The Soltero family has been serving local customers well for many years. They also do an incredible job in catering. We recently host a party catered by El Nido, and everyone in attendance raved about the food.“

“I visited in May, 2026 and ordered a shrimp quesadilla and a salad with chicken. Once I got home, we noticed there was no chicken. (The shrimp quesadilla was delicious.) I was a little annoyed and sent an email with some feedback. Within a couple hours I got a call from Paul, one of the owners of the location. I was surprised at the quick response! He apologized and invited me to come visit again so they could make things right. The attention and effort he showed me by calling so quickly was very thoughtful and I was impressed!

A month later I get a call from another owner named Jesse who wanted to check to make sure everything had been resolved. I explained that I hadn't had a chance to go in yet but that I was still planning to. I appreciated his call too.

Finally, this month in July, I made it back with my Mom. Paul and Jesse made sure we were taken care of. My salad was perfect. The nachos were great too.

This Baja Fresh is managed by two stand up guys that want to make sure customers are happy with both the service and food. That means a lot. Thanks Paul and Jesse!
