Food is always hot and guest seating area is mostly clean.
Staff was pressure washing drive thru as we ate our food.

“I saw this nearby and thought how could alameda have a 4.9 rated taco place? I couldn’t believe it and still wanted to try it. I’m gonna give it the 4.9+. The Fino burrito with birria was excellent. Meat tender. Special sauce is smoky and tasty. I ordered tacos: shrimp, carnitas, pollo and carne asada. Each one special in their own way and simply delicious. Alameda is one of those to places you don’t go unless you have something to do there and I would go just to get these burritos and tacos.“

“We have been to Diablo Taqueria several times in the last year and a half that we have been in Danville. This is not a fancy restaurant, but has simple, tasty Mexican food. Have had their quesadilla and their Mexican salad in a taco bowl - both consistently good. We are vegetarian - and they always have options for us and are willing to customize as needed. We made a rule for ourselves that we would not visit the same restaurant twice in the first year of being in the area in order to try more places - and we broke that rule for this restaurant - just cause it was a great place for a quick healthy lunch.“

The people who run it are also the owners, which means they're invested in creating a friendly, community atmosphere and gladly cater to special requests.

Be prepared to pay either cash, use Zelle or get cash back from the nearby Mexican grocer. There's no option for card payments!“

My friend got the chicken mole and it was actually pretty solid though a little sweet for my taste. I went with the carne asada tacos, nothing flashy but the meat was decent and the salsa had a good kick. They brought out chips and salsa without asking which i always appreciate, free stuff is a win. The place was busy on a saturday night but we got a table in like fifteen minutes without a reservation. “You can easily miss this truck tucked away on the corner of a parking lot. They are busy non stop on a Saturday night. They are quick to get you your food though.

The Al Pastor had great flavor with a slight sweetness of pineapple. Pairs well with their salsa, which is neither red or green, but it was delicious. The Asada was good too, with good taste and texture. The Lengua was very tender and went well with the salsa too.

I will def be back to try the other Cortes and horchata. My only suggestions is they should use order numbers or get a name to the order. They read out whole order for pickup and it gets confusing. Would save them and customers time.“
