El Tacostao offers delicious tacos, including al pastor and shrimp options, made with fresh corn tortillas. The menu also features a tasty consome. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a small play structure for kids. Friendly staff are happy to explain the menu, making it a welcoming spot for all. Customers praise the amazing food, with highlights including the bursting flavors of the birria and steak tacos, as well as the excellent carne asada, al pastor, and cabeza options. The menudo, served only on weekends, is described as the best with its homemade taste and generous portions. El Tacostao is an odd but charming location, tucked away in a residential area but offering a small dine-in experience.
