“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋“

“We just started going here on a whim and we've been twice now. Service and food are consistently very good. I appreciate the consistency. The shrimp tacos are excellent, their carnitas are almost as good as mine 😉, and we reeeeaaaly like the flavors of their salsas maybe a little more spice for my husband (he likes a sauce to punish him!). The authentic warmth of our server, who turned out to be the owner, and the amazingly prepared food combined with the thoughtful, modern decor left us looking forward to our next visit. My sister had her first ever fish taco, and she couldn't stop taking about how delicious it was. Their tortas are also perfectly made. “I came here because someone recommended it. The place was clean, and the food was good overall. It took about 20 minutes to get my burrito, which wasn’t a big issue, but it came uncut and with beans I didn’t order. The red salsa was really good.

The only downside was that the A/C wasn’t working, and it was very hot inside, which made it uncomfortable. Other than that, the food was good. I’d give this place another try.“

“The family atmosphere is what hooked us. We used to go here maybe once or twice a month before the pandemic. Since they reopened, they are closed on Monday’s, our usual day so it’s been 3 years since we’ve been there. They still recognized us though! “What a hidden gem. I ordered a burrito and pupusas and was honestly impressed , the portions are incredibly generous and the prices are super affordable. Places like this are hard to find nowadays.
The flavor is traditional, authentic, and absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the care in every bite. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“I drive to the Concord location from Antioch because I don’t feel safe walking dogs or running errands in Antioch. I tried several other restaurants for burritos before settling here. Great chili verde burritos, always hot, fresh, pinto beans upon request, really nice people. Cinco sells enchilada sauce for people like me who like to make a tray of enchiladas at home to eat for a couple of fays. Reasonably priced.“

After going back many times, El Faro's in Concord has been consistently excellent. Their chips, salsa, chicken burritos, and service has been flawless. I ordered online, and they were ready for me.

Excellent restaurant, best breakfast burritos I've had in this area, fantastic boiled red sauce chicken (far better than everyone else in this entire region), and fantastic service. Great people and great food.“

“Celebrated a birthday today with coworkers!

When we got to the venue we were seated right away, the restaurant has yet to get busy, (5 pm on a Sunday) but it was full when we left.

We had great service. We ordered a pitcher of Strawberry margaritas to share. Chips were served right away. The order was taken immediately after all party members appeared to be ready to order (closed menus).

Dinner was served promptly. We had a variety of dishes including steak fajitas, shrimp cocktail, floutas, enchiladas, queso birra, and a cheeseburger.

We had a party of 7 and gratuity was included in the bill.

Parking is limited.“

“We have gone to Guadalajara Grill a few times for family gatherings and the staff has always been attentive and helpful. I really appreciated our waiter at our recent visit on Father's Day. Their was some confusion between family members about an order but the waiter picked up on it and smoothed things over for us and accommodated our adjusted order quickly allowing us to have a wonderful meal and experience.

The ratio of fat to meat was divine in its flavor, and the onions and aioli set off all the flavors. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ Next was the Bruselas (crispy Brussels Sprouts) tossed in honey Dijon with pistachios! Sí!! Bravo!! Each sprout was cut in half lengthwise, and the layers were opened so the flavor permeated the entire piece of sprout, yummy! Nice touch and not too sweet. It was served a little cooler than what I would have preferred. 4 out of 5 ⭐️ Both tapas were generous portions and served as my meal for the evening. I ordered the Beet Salad to go. It’s done with mixed greens, roasted beets, red onion, feta cheese, almonds, with lemon vinaigrette on the side. I had a sneak peek and it proves to be delicious and so darn healthy! 5 out of 5 ⭐️“
