My friends and I initially went to another place around the corner but the vibe was just TERRIBLE! We left and stumbled across this beautiful establishment! I’m so grateful! It’s brighter. The air is better. The service is phenomenal! Don’t get me started on this amazing torta they got going on! Whooooo wheeeeee. Don’t pass this one up!!

Ranchero Taqueria offers phenomenal food and amazing customer service. The best cheese enchilada, carne asada, and asada tacos are frequently mentioned, along with fabulous chilaquiles cooked to perfection with perfect verde sauce. Their frijoles topped with cheese is delicious, and the torta Cubana and Chile Relleno come highly recommended. Great service by Alex and other staff makes guests feel welcome. The restaurant has been hired for numerous work events, arriving on time and prepared with incredible food that people always go back for seconds and thirds. Prices are great with a Tuesday deal of 4 tacos for $10, and portions are generous. The vibes are perfect, making it a favorite Mexican place around Walnut Creek.
