“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋“

“We just started going here on a whim and we've been twice now. Service and food are consistently very good. I appreciate the consistency. The shrimp tacos are excellent, their carnitas are almost as good as mine 😉, and we reeeeaaaly like the flavors of their salsas maybe a little more spice for my husband (he likes a sauce to punish him!). Its our new favorite!“

“My sister and I went in on a whim. We had no idea that we would leave so wholly satisfied, and we left feeling like we had been guests at an old friend's house for lunch. The authentic warmth of our server, who turned out to be the owner, and the amazingly prepared food combined with the thoughtful, modern decor left us looking forward to our next visit. “Quality at its finest! If you are in the area or even remotely close it's a must stop. Had the super taco with carne asada and medium salsa. Will be in area for a few days and this will be my lunch for every one of those days. The table also al pastor and birra taco plates and both were superior in flavor. Portions are amazing for a very affordable price. Staff is friendly and informative if you are not familiar with style of cooking. The restaurant is attached to the library in Pittsburg, dont let that fool you, walk through the door and experience the flavor.“

“This place is awesome. While the standard Tex-Mex tacos and burritos are great and have amazing flavors, make sure you try something unique. The Posole Verde is the best I've ever had, Haurache Asada will out you into a joyous food coma, the Caldo Tlapeno is a go to anytime I need comfort food, and there are so much more here. (And the deserts are worth every calorie!)“

“Taqueria La Plaza is a neighborhood gem!

My husband and I love walking here for lunch: He usually gets a burrito and I go between enchiladas and a breakfast burrito (which is offered ALL DAY!). There are so many meat choices! They throw in a bowl of chips and unlimited access to their salsa bar. I also enjoy their aqua fresca or horchata on occasion.

You can eat indoors or outdoors (both covered and sunny tables), or take your food to go.“

“I came here because someone recommended it. The place was clean, and the food was good overall. It took about 20 minutes to get my burrito, which wasn’t a big issue, but it came uncut and with beans I didn’t order. The red salsa was really good.

The only downside was that the A/C wasn’t working, and it was very hot inside, which made it uncomfortable. Other than that, the food was good. I’d give this place another try.“

“Found out about this place through a friend who bought me some tacos from here. So a few weeks later I made the journey to go get my own tacos. These tacos DELICIOUS and simple with meat, cheese and lettuce. And let me tell you something, nothing else is needed. These tacos are full of flavor. Also it came with both homemade salsa and chips. “My wife and I get tacos here every Wednesday. Yes a day late but we can't help but love it. Ashley the hostess is absolutely wonderful. She is kind, knowledgeable and makes our experience special every time. This restaurant is family owned and operated and that is what makes it so great. The quality of their food is excellent and the service is even better. They have a full bar too so of that's something you're in to then it's definitely worth a visit.“

“Great food and plenty of variety. It’s not one of the cheaper ends when it comes to Taquerias, but that’s just me. The Asada is excellent, fresh, and lots of flavor. Everything is all good, but some of the hostesses working at the register...attituuuude! I’m not an expert in customer service, but a smile and good energy (not like the feeling when they want you to hurry up and order) goes a long way. I’m not taking the fact that the food is good, but working on your presence helps a lot!“

“I drive to the Concord location from Antioch because I don’t feel safe walking dogs or running errands in Antioch. I tried several other restaurants for burritos before settling here. Great chili verde burritos, always hot, fresh, pinto beans upon request, really nice people. Cinco sells enchilada sauce for people like me who like to make a tray of enchiladas at home to eat for a couple of fays. Reasonably priced.“

I did like the burrito I had at Mecca I asked for chunky beef, rice (no beans) on a super... medium sized burrito. It was very large and 3/4 of it, would have been enough.
Came with bean dip,chips, and salsa.
Was tasty too.
The service was sweet and kind. I do want to go back there again. I might try something else.
Prices are low, compared to other places.“

“We had their burritos at a Convention in Antioch. Though they were severely over priced at $18 each, you expect to get ripped off at conventions. However, this was the most satisfying wallet molestation my son and I have ever experienced. (4 burritos and soda/water...$100). We can't even tell you what specifically makes them so good, just the perfect blends of all. We live an hour away but we are gonna try to find the restaurant and see if they are better priced than the truck. If so, we found our new spot when visiting the East Bay.“

“Dined on the covered patio alongside the creek which made for a comfortable outdoor dining experience. Service was friendly and enthusiastic, making up for kitchen delays on a busy Saturday evening. Cocktail menu is great, especially for those of us that are tequila and mezcal fans. Signature cocktail pricing is good for this area and the mezcal cocktails are all made with Del Maguey Puebla which is great. We have never made a bad food choice here, but for appetizers consistently get the ceviche as it is excellent. This time we had grilled fish tacos and carnitas for our entrees, thoroughly enjoying both. The carnitas in particular were uniquely served with a variety of accompaniments to fill the two corn tortillas included with the plate. Look forward to our next visit.“

“I got their lingua burrito and it was very tasty. I mainly tried the place as my roommate suggested the restaurant due to location and convenience but I was happy with the portions. Next up is to try the chile verde.
