“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋“

Everyone was so friendly, and the owner came over to our table to check on us and chat for a bit, which was really nice. “Mai Thai is our go-to for Thai food. We chose it over Naung Mai in Oak Harbor initially because of the price difference, but the portions are bigger and there's more of your chosen meat/protein in the soups and entrees. That said- be aware you have to LIKE SPICE. Recently it has been difficult to get "spice 1", which should just be a hint. If you say "no spice", it's OK, but not Thai, right? But if there's a difference between 1 and 4, I can't tell. Our Pho soup tonight (spice 1) was burning our throats. The pad thai was OK at spice 1, but still quite a bit spicier than I would assume 1 would be. This is a new development for this restaurant, so it is probably a new chef. Just BE AWARE. Anyway, most people complain the food in the PNW is too bland, so you won't have that problem, at least! And as far as ordering, we use the online app. Add five mins to the time it says your pick up is ready. It is never ready. Door Dashers use this place constantly, and they clog the order process. There is indoor dining, but we have never used it, thanks to Covid protocols. Also- a final word on parking. The parking lot has been sectioned off from looping through the driver's ed school next door. Therefore the lot is super tough to turn and get out. You are better off parking along the strip by the salon to the left of the restaurant and walking up. Please be careful in this area of town at night.“

“Since moving to Concord, when I am craving any sort of gyro or shawarma this is the place I go to now. This place introduced me to the Turkish style since where I am from most shawarma places are Iraqi, Syrian or Lebanese. When I am super hungry I get the Sams combo which is worth the price. Their sauces as sides are great as well especially the red sauce. I like the brightness it brings (some say its spicy but as a spice freak, it is definitely on the tanginess/ bright side but if you dont handle spice well, you will find it spicy). Amazing falafels as that is definitely their best protein they offer not to count out their chicken and beef. I also like the chickpeas in the rice as well.

If you are in the area, definitely give Sam's a try. Anything I have ordered from their plates to their wraps has always been great. Also the hummus you can taste that its home made.“

“I had such a wonderful dining experience here recently. The quality of the food was impressive and every plate was presented beautifully.

Everything tasted so fresh. I especially loved the bento box, which came with a perfect slice of orange and some really delicious, crispy dumplings. It is rare to find a spot that puts this much care into their presentation and flavor profiles.

“I brought my parents to eat here. My dad loves pho! Their service was great. The food arrived quickly. The food was delicious. We had grilled pork Vietnamese sandwiches, grilled pork vermicelli bowl, spring rolls, and BBQ pork and wonton pho. (can you tell we love grilled pork?) the pork was delicious! The sandwiches were not dry. We completely enjoyed our meal and had a very nice time together. I would highly recommend this place for both dining in and takeout.“

“I bought a pair of work boots next door and was drawn this to cozy looking restaurant. Inside it's nice and dim and homey. All of the people working there were so nice and I could hear them catching up with regular customers. I ordered soft tofu stew and it was exactly what I needed, warm and filling and flavorful. “I started with the Spicy Crab Crunch Roll and the Teriyaki Bento Box. The Bento box was very filling. The teriyaki sauce was flavorful! A little goes a long way. I was recommended to add cream cheese and sesame seeds. It was a lovely addition to the sushi! Additionally I returned to buy an entire sauce bottle of the teriyaki sauce. Yes it was that tasty. The bottle was $11 USD. It was well worth the price. It is my favorite teriyaki chicken restaurant in the bay. I’d strongly recommend it if you love a teriyaki chicken moment. Customer service was lovely as well.“

“This is one of the best izakaya spots around here. The owners and staff are very friendly, and it looks like they have a lot of regular customers.

I ordered a few dishes to enjoy with some good sake. The yakitori was a bit disappointing since it lacked that smoky, grilled flavor. I wouldn’t recommend it.

However, the steamed clams were excellent—perfect as a drinking snack. The fried herring was so delicious that we finished it in no time. Lastly, I had ochazuke, which was absolutely satisfying and something I’d definitely order again.

“November 13th, around 4:50 PM aimlessly walking around decovering new places to see and dine in when I stumbled upon ANARKALI ( Pakistani/Halal/Indian ) The lady who took my order made me feel like I was the only one there (even though I was for a while) She made sure I toured the restaurant/store with a light and easy futter. My order took longer than expected by her, but honestly, I watched her put my meal together, and it was not rushed... She repeatedly apologized, but honestly, I loved the dedication to the craft. Another customer came in as well as a delivery order, but she gave all of us special attention. I loved how I felt in the atmosphere as well as wonderful. The food was prepared. 5 out of 5 stars 💜💜💜💜💜 Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!!“

“The food was good as usual. It was not very busy for a Sunday but the staff looked tired and not very enthusiastic. They should enforce dress codes for servers. The floors were sticky when you walk into the restaurant. The water glassed were plastic instead of glass. The restaurant needs deep cleaning and freshen up the atmospher. You can see all the storage freezers when sitting in the dining room when they can be hidden with a decor curtain or a trifold divider. They don't bring the bill to the table or accept payment at the table only at the cashier which is weird for a sit down facility“
