“Overall good food at decent prices, with friendly service. The portions were larger than neighboring Japanese restaurants that I had recently. Had the lunch bento and surprisingly offered takoyaki as an option - IYKYK. Spicy tuna was good too. And as others have mentioned, the miso soup was really good. I will go again to try more items.“

Everything tasted so fresh. I especially loved the bento box, which came with a perfect slice of orange and some really delicious, crispy dumplings. It is rare to find a spot that puts this much care into their presentation and flavor profiles.

“This is one of the best izakaya spots around here. The owners and staff are very friendly, and it looks like they have a lot of regular customers.

I ordered a few dishes to enjoy with some good sake. The yakitori was a bit disappointing since it lacked that smoky, grilled flavor. I wouldn’t recommend it.

However, the steamed clams were excellent—perfect as a drinking snack. The fried herring was so delicious that we finished it in no time. Lastly, I had ochazuke, which was absolutely satisfying and something I’d definitely order again.

“The best teriyaki that has savory, smoke, and umami included so it's not just sweet. We visit this place whenever we visit the Bay Area. If you miss the old location in SF, this is the same family that ran the location near Portrero Hill/Soma.“

I wasnt expecting restaurant quality sushi at a place in the mall but here we are. If you are ever shopping around or want to grab a quick bite this is the spot. Staff was very friendly, place is super clean, environment is surprisingly cozy (but thats probably due to my tastes).“

“I discovered this buffet through social media. I was surprised by the service of this buffet, which is very good from the entrance to those who pick up the dirty dishes. The boy was very quick and very attentive to our tables. There was only one flaw that I didn't like. They charge tips in advance and do not give them tips or part of those who take the hard work from the staff behind them such as those who lift the dishes such as those who wash the dishes. It is very unfair that they charge tips and do not give them to those who deserve it. 😮‍💨“
