“We are avid sushi eaters an we like to pick a new place everytime.
Staff were splendid and kind.
The food was delicious and price wise we actually got more then the last place we ate that was more expensive an less food.
We know sushi doesn’t always feel you up so we ordered a few things an shared with everyone at the the table. The spicy tuna was actually spicy. Whoot!
No kids menu- no problem- ? chicken teriyaki, rice, udon, tempera, seaweed salad!
The one Star removed is for the temperature an bathrooms. It was rather warm inside an the bathroom area smells which in an warmer environment penetrates the air. The roof is massively high. They need to spend some money an put in a fake ceiling an better air.
Overall good place. Will be back if on this side of town. We are everything!“

“Just moved into a new area and craving sushi so I found Hanabi Sushi on DoorDash. They had good ratings on DoorDash and Google Maps and most all, it was only a 10 min drive from me. Saw that they had 2 sushi rolls for about $20 which is good deal to begin with. And I also found the sashimi special had most of the fish that I like and the price was reasonable. I wasn’t sure if it came with just 1 pc of each that they listed (salmon, yellowtail, tuna, albacore and red snapper) or 2. That’s common for small portions for $30. To my surprise, they gave me 4 big pieces of each. I didn’t even eat the salad or soup because I was so full from eating the sashimi and sushi rolls. I ordered the food to go but right when I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by the sushi chefs and they thanked me for my order on my way out. Very friendly staff. Food was very good. I think I found my new sushi spot to go to.
Parking: I got there before they were closing so there was a lot of parking
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s in a shopping center so there’s plenty of parking in front and a handicap parking space in front of the restaurant also.“

“This restaurant offers fresh sushi, friendly service, an accessible location, and a cozy atmosphere. One of the best sushi places around Walnut. The quality for the price is also very good. The eel rice bowl melted in my mouth, and the restaurant's service was also excellent.“

“Been a long time since I dined here and forgot how good everything was. From the garlic edamame to the variety of rolls we tried...all were delicious! They have a smaller, but nice patio for outdoor seating.
Parking: Dinner time is also workout time for the gym next door...so parking can be a little tough.“

“Food was good, flavors were excellent. The Shrimp Head could use more cooking time to ensure crispiness rather than having some chewiness on the Ama-Ebi. Maguro & Tobiko Nigiri were fresh. The Sukiyaki was filling! My friend ate all her Bento box contents. Service was good, but not all shoju was available on the menu. There were so many missing items that they should revise it or consider a paper menu that's easier to update. Inside was great, but the outside parking had a homeless drunk on the sidewalk by the parking area ...“

“The service was quick&staff were attentive, and friendly. The food was good. My usual(cherry blossom) was well put together. Because I seen a recommendation in the reviews for the Godzilla roll(deep fried yellowtail roll with a little spice to it)&the salmon belly, I tried them both and they delivered. The prices are decent.
Altogether a great first time experience.
I would return, and I would recommend.
Give House of Sake a try.“

“Amazing sushi restaurant in Walnut Creek, very low key, unassuming spot but with excellent and super fresh food, especially sashimi.
We ordered premium sashimi omakase and extra toro as well as another roll and it was fantastic! I’d go back every time I’m in Walnut Creek!“

“I always have a great time when I come. The quality of the food is great with good portion sizes, especially for the price. The menu is huge so everyone can find something to get.My favorites are the hamachi kama, green beans, house salad (they put a lot of dressing, you can always ask for less), fried rice, and honestly any of the rolls (I've had several of them and I liked all of them)!Staff is always super friendly, attentive, and treat you like family.“

“We have been going to this restaurant for the last 13 years, at least 2 or 3 times per month. This place has good people who own it, hard working and noble employees, everyone is kind and their food is really good. I love that their food tastes delicious, fresh, safe and that is is highly comparable and often times better than that of much more expensive places. This is a great place to become a regular at, to go with family or to do take out.
Our favorite dishes here:
Rolls: tekka Maki, hamachi maki, Fuji mountain, Toyota special.
Salad: sunomono
Best miso soup in town
Delicious and a great value: white tuna tataki.
Try their delicious hot tea... Whoever makes it here has the best ratio of water to tea I have ever seen!
We love Toyo!“

“Ate here weekday lunch. Bento box and sushi combo between the two of us. Miso soup was the best I’ve had in recent memory. Bento had a ton of choices and was too much food! Everything was delicious and fairly priced. Will definitely be back.“

“Beautiful presentation of food that well matched the taste and honestly was blown away by this small shop in the corner that I've looked over so many times headed past on my way home. The miso soup bowl was humongous, for 6$ the large really is large and well worth it. The chicken katsu was delicious and so was the beef ramen, the exact name of which escapes me. Overall very yummy food and pretty reasonable prices and I'm quite upset I haven't been here sooner.“

“I lost count of how many times I’ve come here - they never miss. The menu is familiar but enough unique items to stand out amongst all of the other AYCE sushi OR hotpot restaurants around.. oh and did I mention they offer both.. get this - for the same price ? come visit, you won’t regret it!“

“Great food, good price, and excellent service. Especially by the hostess Keyli, who made us feel welcome and offered up a great tasting, Salmon Carpaccio. We will be back for more and hope Keyli can be our server someday.

“Loved this place, but removing a star because they took the teriyaki salmon option off the menu. Strange, because everyone loved it and it was often sold out! The raw fish is hit or miss. Bring back the teriyaki!
My roommates and I check doordash every week or so, just to see if they have Salmon Samba.“

“The sushi was good but a few pieces fell apart while picking them up. The chicken skewers were a little over cooked. All the other Happy Hour food was very good. The service was good and the server was very friendly. We are returning customers and will always come back.“

“Found this restaurant looking for sushi while traveling again for work, this time I find myself in Martinez. Haven't had sushi/sake in a while so here I am. The food was great, portions as you'd expect for rolls. Took the recommendation for the sake, and was a good choice. Also witnessed a phoned in order that called back and explained they'd called the wrong restaurant and canceled their order for food already prepared. So, I made a deal on the salmon roll that was part of the restaurant dealing with not-so-smart-people. The total bill was reasonable, considering the small bottle of sake. I would definitely return to this establishment again. Why a less than 5 star atmosphere, it feels more like a fast food joint but, the foods great.“
“Finally decided to order from here. Checked out the reviews. Most were pretty dated. Settled on the titanic roll and spicy chicken ramen. The titanic roll was Amazing!! It was fresh, hot, big enough to split (I didn't). Flavor was on point. Don't really remember a crunchy component but I wouldnt hesitate to order it again. The spicy ramen on the other hand was extremely subpar. Great portion size for the price, but the broth was flavorless. The chicken was definitely dark meat. The veggies and ramen were overcooked. Chicken bouillon, salt and red pepper flakes were a must to achieve the flavor I was looking for.“

“The help is most certainly the best thing about sushi bar Hana! At the point when I moved to Danville they sent me a welcome coupon for a free purpose, so my sweetheart and I chose to come in! The sushi is new and workers were glad to make suggestions. This may not be the best moves I've had in my life, however most certainly useful for the space and not terrible at the costs by the same token! This is a little shop close to the clock tower downtown! Stopping is generally in the city.“

“Always very nice coming here. I come here almost everytime I visit the mall. The thought of mall sushi might not be everyone's cup of tea, but don't knock it till you try it. The sushi is great. Not too much rice and avacado/tempura/cucumber have always been very fresh. The hot mamacita roll is a favorite of mine as well as theavacado roll and cucumber roll.
It is fairly affordable and lovely service from the owners. They always say hello to you when you come in, and also bye and thank you when you leave. Always happy to support a small business.“

“We came in right around when I imagine the Sunday lunch rush had ended because for the moment we were the only two in the entire establishment. Things that stand out, the atmosphere is great. Being next to a busy intersection you'd expect a lot more road noise but it was relatively quiet inside. Great, and quick service.I can certainly see myself becoming a regular here because their chicken teriyaki is delicious. While the food was great my only gripe is parking. Good luck, and if you can park nearby it's worth the walk.
Parking: The lot behind the restaurant is private and belongs to the surrounding apartments. Street parking is very hit or miss. Parking across the street at the BevMo! and crossing seems to be the best strat for this location if your driving.“

“Went to Kiku Sushi in Lafayette for dinner and the staff were welcoming and efficient, even on a busy night. A main attraction for me is that there’s a full vegetarian menu, so you can find dishes beyond avocado roll and don’t have to worry about whether they contain fish stock or flakes. Memorable dish: Nasu Miso, which is grilled Japanese eggplant with sweet miso, $9.50. Kiku has a sister restaurant in Berkeley – I enjoyed eating at both of them – service, food, and ambiance were solid in both branches. For those looking for fully vegan Japanese restaurants in Berkeley, I can also recommend Cha-ya or Tane Vegan Izakaya, both of which are on Shattuck Ave. I’m also giving Kiku Sushi 4/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact. • Both branches of Kiku have an emphasis on vegetarian items with a fully vegetarian menu that helps avoid any confusion or mistakes while ordering. • The menu does feature fish and a couple of chicken or pork dishes, but avoids the most climate-unfriendly meats – beef and lamb. • Fyi, if you want to choose climate-friendly fish, then small pelagic fish (sardines, mackerel, anchovies), farmed bivalves (oysters, mussels, scallops), and some wild salmonids (salmon and trout) are your best bets. Avoid crustaceans such as shrimp, prawns, crabs, and lobster. • Kiku doesn’t provide any information on sourcing of fish or other ingredients. Please join in and include a Green Stars rating with your own reviews!“

“Low key, family-run sushi spot out in the burbs. I usually get sashimi or one of the rolls. Now if you want to throw caution to the wind, get the roll called "I don't know". It's chef's choice, and it depends on the ingredients on hand that day. Sometimes it's great, sometimes less so. Regardless, the portion is always generous, and it's always a surprise.“

“We came here a week ago and now we are coming a lot to here.
We ordered 4 different kind of rolls and let me tell you, it’s really good!
The place is big, nice, and clean but the customer service is a little off. Workers barely understand English and took a lot of time to make the sushi.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re craving sushi.“

“The food is IMPECCABLE. It is always high quality, from the fish to the mushrooms to seaweed to tea. I've been a few times and they are so warm and welcoming. The aesthetic is cute and the music playing was sooo relaxing, what a dreamy atmosphere. Not to mention the fancy bathroom, there are even toothpicks and mouthwash.“
