The atmosphere is soft and sumptuous, layered with rugs and sheepskin. The staff invited us to kick back and get cozy, and you can hardly help but relax and enjoy. Can't wait to come back!”

“We had a great dinner here! Everything felt very authentic, and you can tell they put a lot of care into preparing their seafood. The proportions were spot on.
A huge surprise was the miso soup—it was so good that even my kids, who usually don't touch it, finished the whole bowl. The salad was simple and refreshing, and the fried chicken (karaage) was perfectly crispy and tender. The beef was a little on the salty side for my taste, but overall, it didn't take away from a really enjoyable meal.
We liked it so much that we even grabbed some nigiri to go, and the kids absolutely loved it. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to.”

“First, I want to highlight Jonah; he was the only server who truly cared about us. Since he has to share tips, I tipped him personally (he didn't ask for it). At the cashier, an older Filipina lady ignored me to talk to another customer without asking me to wait. Second, the prices were reasonable. The sisig was good but too salty; otherwise, you can order anything. Third, they have live music, but the singer was quite poor and it was far too noisy, even from the other room. We will likely be back, but we’ll sit even further away.”

“Finally went to this place. The food was fantastic. Service was great when we first arrived, but after ordering our food is when it began. I did not receive the correct empanadas. The ones I did receive were also great, so I said nothing. The paloma was slow to arrive. My husband's meal did not arrive until we were halfway done with ours. There was no checking in with us, and no offers of more water for our empty glasses. My husband finally got up to get someone for our check. They were apologetic and brought out some churros on the house. My shrimp tacos were amazing, and my son's tzunun salad looked amazing, too. Not sure how often we will be back. The service was not great and eating out is very expensive these days. For the prices paid, some beans or rice with tacos should not be an upcharge. Some chips and salsa should be included as well.”

“We always have a great experience at Back 40. The food is great, and especially for the cost. No matter what day or time we go we get great food, healthy, fresh and fast. The staff are amazing. Ricky and Amanda are the absolute best. Patrick is a great manager, and Jerome is also great. We eat in the bar area or restaurant depending on our mood, or how busy they are. No matter what we get fast, friendly service. The staff never fails to acknowledge repeat customers with friendly hellos even if they aren’t your server for the day. Great separate areas for large party, and upstairs for small or large banquets. Amazing food and drinks for the price. Way better than fast food.”

“They have a taco truck in the plaza in front of the pleasant hill bart. I went on a Tuesday night and got 5 tacos. They were so good and pretty quick too. I tried one of each meat, and they were all delicious. I will definitely be going back.”

My only complaint was that a lot of the food tasted similarly because of the spices used. I would have liked more variety. The sour and spicy noodle soup was very good, it reminded me of a dish a friend used to make for me. The grilled meats were also nice.”

Also had a slice of the Tandoori Chicken Pizza with added Banana Peppers and a slice of the Mascarpone Pep Pizza. They were both delicious! The friendly owner has put a lot of thought and time into the menu and making everything delicious. Will definitely be going back for more!”

“Zachary's is a singular experience.
Really good food. Even their regular flat pizza is a treat but their deep dish pie spectacular.
The spinach and mushroom deep dish is their flagship offering and I find if you add pepperoni it really puts it over the top. Deep dish takes about 45 mins too cook but you can place your order by phone before you leave the house if time is an issue. They also offer half cooked take home orders you can finish up in your own oven.

Ordered Hangover Angus Burger, russet fries, and strawberry shortcake shake. Started with the fries with no sauce. Pretty much perfect. Temp, texture, quality. Dip a few in there cherry spicy sauce... oh wow!!! Burger was medium and it smacked!!! The shake. Get one for yourself. If you love milkshakes, you'll be back just for that.

Ambience is chill. Not too fast food, not to fancy. Good seating selection and handicap accessible.

I've been here for their lunch special a half-dozen times over the past year, and it's been consistently excellent. Great price for the amount of food, and every entree I have ordered has been great, especially the spicy eggplant with tofu. The portions are very generous too - my wife and I always end up bringing home leftovers.

My family and I often order takeout for dinner here as well, and again, have never been disappointed. Everything is exceptionally fresh - the veggie and seafood options are my favorites.”

“An array of selections at a very reasonable price and very generous portions. I ordered the Garden Omelet; It was delicious. My daughter ordered the same. However, she chose scrambled eggs. Hashbrown and bread were included. There was also strawberry and grape jam at the table. Coffee was also superb. See photos.”

“A lot of places around here do decent pho, and this one is solid across the board. The beef pho is consistently good. The chicken has a slightly different style that works really well, especially when you’re not feeling great. The vegetarian is better than most pho spots manage, which is nice if you’re ordering for someone who doesn’t eat meat.

The bún bò Huế is also good, and I usually swap in egg noodles. Appetizers have all been fine.

I mostly stick to pho here and haven’t had a bad bowl.”

“I've ordered takeout from Pho Viet several times now, and it never disappoints. My go-to is the grilled beef with garlic noodles, always paired with an egg roll on the side—and it's fantastic every time. The portion size is just right for a satisfying, well-rounded meal. I love that they include fresh veggies like carrots and lettuce at the bottom, which adds a nice balance to the dish.

The beef is always perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the garlic noodles are packed with flavor. And trust me, the egg roll is a must—crispy, flavorful, and the perfect finishing touch.

The staff are always super friendly when I stop by to pick up my order, which makes the experience even better. I’m really looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu, especially the pho, which I’ve heard great things about.

“This place is so popular! I went on a Saturday night and there was a pretty constant stream of groups coming in to grab the yogurt. It’s clean, all the flavors/machines were functioning and all the toppings were well stocked and clean/fresh. There were some seating as well. There’s probably enough space in there for a few more seats along the wall on one side, but not complaining because at the pace of customers coming in, there was plenty of seating. Self serve, so minimal interaction with the staff but they seemed nice.
