“Our large (12+) party enjoyed a wonderful lunch today. My lunch included a smoked pulled pork sandwich and Texas wedge potatoes. This large sandwich was filled with pulled pork and included a small cup of slaw that I placed on top of the pork, Memphis style - excellent BBQ flavor and texture! I also sampled the tasty cornbread with honey butter. The service was on point with everyone getting individual checks. Highly recommend!“

“Great local bbq/deli/meat market. You can get any type of meat from raw brisket, their famous marinated ball tip, I've even seen gator for sale here before. They also have packages that are great if you're going camping that will contain eggs and other protein so you can pay one price and head out. They make one of the best breakfast sandwiches around. Not into meat? They also have salad options and seasoned fries in various flavors. The staff is very friendly as well as knowledgeable and will gladly assist you with any questions.“

“First off the staff was smiling, attentive and not on their phones. The latte was perfection frothed, the espresso was delicious as was the little biscotti that was served with it. Facility was clean, moderately busy, I was able to get a table right away. I watched the staff and they were all so engaged in their work and the guests. Food was piping hot, perfectly seasoned. Eggs were poached perfect, sauce was not only not broken but seasoned slightly with Paprika for color. The pastry counter was spotless and their offered look fresh and inviting. Kudos to this place all around!! Its close to the freeway and parking is easy peasy.“

“My wife and I are big fans of Kinders—we come in every week. I always get the customized loaded tots, and she goes for the Cali chicken club sandwich. The plain salted fries are also outstanding, especially since they’re cooked in tallow instead of seed oils. The fry sauce is genuinely one of the best I’ve had. What really sets the place apart for us is Mikey. He’s the only server we go to! He’s friendly, attentive, offers good suggestions, and consistently makes the experience better. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and goes the extra mile, which is rare. He deserves recognition for that and a raise!“

“Super awesome place! Was traveling out of town and I got the prosciutto toast with arugula and caramelized onions, and it was great!

The best part was how awesome the staff was with my son. He wanted a mango and peach smoothie which wasn’t on the menu, and they went out of their way to help us customize it into something he would actually like and he loved it.

“Been going to this location frequently and every time it’s been great. Very fast and friendly service. BBQ chicken is freshly made and perfectly seasoned every time. Nice cuts of meat. No fat. Very clean restaurant. Small dining room but they do have outdoor tables as well. Turn over of tables is pretty fast. If I’ve wanted to sit it’s never been an issue. If you want a view while you eat, drive down the hill and park at 9th street or the Benicia Pier and enjoy your meal.“

“First visit, weeknight, not crowded. Food very good to excellent. Beet trio appetizer superb. Not clear if the 3 dipping sauces were for beets or brisket but good either way. Fiancee had wagyu burger, excellent. I had the combo plate…brisket a tad dry, fried chicken very good, corn bread muffin & cole slaw great. Extensive wine list, top labels. We shared a flight and each had a glass of bubbly. Portion size good … I had leftovers for breakfast. Server Jeff casual but on the ball with advice. Menu somewhat limited, especially for vegans.“

The ball tip sandwich was out of this world—perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. We also got the three-meat combo paired with chili beans, potato salad, and mac & cheese. Every single side hit the mark, but the mac & cheese and chili beans were absolute standouts.

The food was all delicious and the “party trays” that I ordered came with additional food that I didn’t even know about and was pleasantly surprised to receive.
