“Very friendly owner. Offered 5% discount on cash payments. We ordered 3 dishes. Kaokao chicken, char siu over rice, and beef brisket noodle soup. The star of the meal was the char siu over rice. We’ll reorder that for sure. The beef brisket’s soup was soy sauce forward, my husband enjoyed the noodle but it was a tad too soft for me. The kaokao chicken is very well cooked, moist chicken, but it was a confused dish imo, so it is not a dish we would reorder. Overall good tasting food, we’d come back for the char siu. The restaurant was very smokey, and it stuck to my body and clothes all day after. So I would not come here before going anywhere important, so you’ll smell of bbq.“

“My favorite restaurant in the whole world, of all time.
My go-to in college. Sadly, I moved away after college. But every time I'm back in town, maybe once a year, I always have to come get my Steve's fix, even though I graduated over 20 years ago. I don't care about Instagrammable presentation, designer art and furnishings, and pork from pigs who were properly socialized and pampered. Just give me simple but delicious food, generous portions, and good value. Can't ever beat that.“

“Great Chinese food with authentic taste. They have a hotel next door which is connected to the restaurant and they are open till midnight. If you want great Chinese kebab, noodles, rice dishes, seafood, and dumplings. This is the place to be! Food is cooked fast and they accept card and cash. “Came here with my dad for the 1st time today after seeing them advertise on social media. My Pop's ordered the salmon combo plate with mac and cheese + greens. I had the brisket sandwhich combo with a potato latke and side of coleslaw. Came out to just under $50 for the both of us, not bad at all! Unique flavor profile, nice sized portions, and positive atmosphere. The food was fresh, place was clean, and the customer service top tier- the owner was there which was a bonus. The coleslaw isn't my favorite, as it's a pickled variety tasting heavily of vinegar, otherwise it was finger lickin' good! Will be returning soon. Thanks Crazyblock! +🪙“

“Fikscue Craft BBQ is an absolute gem. The Indonesian BBQ fusion concept is unique, creative, and packed with flavor. The brisket was the highlight—beautifully smoked, tender, juicy, and full of rich flavor. You can really taste the care and craftsmanship that goes into the barbecue.

The nasi goreng was an excellent complement to the smoked meat, bringing a distinctive Indonesian touch that makes Fikscue stand out from a typical BBQ restaurant. The seasoned fries were also delicious and worked perfectly with the rest of the meal.

The portions are generous—around 2 lbs (almost 1 kg) of brisket along with the rice and fries—and everything felt well prepared and thoughtfully put together. It’s not inexpensive, but the quality of the meat, portion size, and overall experience make it feel like a special meal rather than just another BBQ dinner.

Food was on point with that little bit of soul in it.
Sides was good, not a fan of the baked beans.
Price was somewhat inline with quantity and quality of food. Had the combo with two sides.

“Absolutely delectable and delicious food! The service was super fast and friendly. Manager John was so kind and made sure we were having a good time. They offered to cook for the table and also gave us the option to cook for ourselves, if we want to. We also got great tips and suggestions when we asked for guidance w the menu. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. The meat was amazing. Side dishes and sauces were plentiful. Can't wait to come again!“

We ordered Lemon Chicken, Chicken Katsu & Masubi and one other item. I clicked yes to include utensils and napkins and I even added in the notes please include utensils, chopsticks and napkins.
Since I am staying at a hotel these were needed. The hotel had no picnicware so my son and I walked to the store down the street to buy some. Got back to cold food that wasn’t in containers that could NOT be heated in the microwave and discovered they didn’t include soy sauce.
The Mac salad was perfect. The rice definitely needed soy sauce. The flavor of the lemon chicken was great even though it was room temp. The katsu lost its texture in the time it Took to get utensil unfortunately.
I’m not trying to be petty over utensil but it really made for an unfortunate experience.“

“Really solidly good Hawaiian food. I had family visiting from France who wanted to try Hawaiian food and they loved it! Especially high praise coming from Parisians used to amazing restaurants. There seemed to be plenty of locals in the restaurant so I decided to give it a shot. I spent around $40 got plenty of dim sum for the family to go around. The dim sum was hot, plump, and filled with meat!

The menu is extensive and has a little bit for everyone’s craving for the day. You know it’s a good sign when you walk in and you hear the uncs and aunties yappin. It just means this place is authentic !

The Satay Beef Noodle soup was great. It has a spice in it I can’t pinpoint, but it made it unique to any other beef noodle soup I’ve had. I was expecting a taste closer to bun bo hue, but no it’s something different. Still very tasty! The cucumbers innit was a surprise and it worked very well.

The chicken wings came out piping hot and crunchy. The chicken itself didn’t have much flavor tho.

The chow fun is something I’d order again. The beef was cooked with a Smokiness flavor to it.

This spot accepts card for payment, so I am happy that I didn’t have to pull money at an ATM. The staff is very friendly and can give recommendations“
