“I ordered using Uber Eats.
We ordered Lemon Chicken, Chicken Katsu & Masubi and one other item. I clicked yes to include utensils and napkins and I even added in the notes please include utensils, chopsticks and napkins.
Since I am staying at a hotel these were needed. The hotel had no picnicware so my son and I walked to the store down the street to buy some. Got back to cold food that wasn’t in containers that could NOT be heated in the microwave and discovered they didn’t include soy sauce.
The Mac salad was perfect. The rice definitely needed soy sauce. The flavor of the lemon chicken was great even though it was room temp. The katsu lost its texture in the time it Took to get utensil unfortunately.
I’m not trying to be petty over utensil but it really made for an unfortunate experience.“

“Very friendly owner. Offered 5% discount on cash payments. We ordered 3 dishes. Kaokao chicken, char siu over rice, and beef brisket noodle soup. The star of the meal was the char siu over rice. We’ll reorder that for sure. The beef brisket’s soup was soy sauce forward, my husband enjoyed the noodle but it was a tad too soft for me. The kaokao chicken is very well cooked, moist chicken, but it was a confused dish imo, so it is not a dish we would reorder. Overall good tasting food, we’d come back for the char siu. The restaurant was very smokey, and it stuck to my body and clothes all day after. So I would not come here before going anywhere important, so you’ll smell of bbq.“

“From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so warmly—which instantly set a great tone for the meal! We decided to share the pastrami sandwich, and they definitely did not skimp. It was loaded with a generous amount of incredibly tender pastrami.
​What really stole the show for me, though, were the accoutrements. The pickled onions and celery were absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with the savory meat. I highly recommend checking this place out!“

People don’t go out to a restaurant just because they need to eat - they want to enjoy the experience of eating out. Everything was efficient: our drinks were refilled, our order came quickly, we were checked out quickly…but the personal touch was missing. No one asked if we had eaten in a restaurant like this before (we have, once), or if we had any questions or needed help. I have food sensitivities and only after placing the order did I learn that I couldn’t eat any of the vegetables. The waiter was fast at asking the chef and returning for the info, but I would have loved “do you have any more questions? Do you need help finding something you can eat on the menu?” That would have made it 5 stars in my opinion.“

“Beautiful food and excellent service – went for my husband's birthday and it was a special meal. Servers were super attentive and explained the various cuts of meat and preparation, and everything is cooked right in front of you, which makes for a cool experience. Every bite was delicious!“

“Has gluten free soup and the galbi Jjim. The galbi Jjim was filling,and mostly casava, noodles and sauce. Had a good amount of rib meat though. Service was great despite being packed. Only complaint is the amount of cheese - way too much, and I had to remove it to even taste the meats, even though I asked for less cheese. The side dishes were standard for Korean but still decent.“

If you’ve been missing your Korean Gopchang/intestines you had in SoCal, this is the spot to try! The portion is decent and flavor is there! Also love that there’s potato slices in there!

To avoid long lines, come during off hours like 3pm~ They don’t take same day reservations.

“This is my favorite spot to catch a game while enjoying incredible BBQ and drinks.The barbecue here is the real deal, the beef brisket sandwich and crispy tacos are my go to’s and the sides like the oxtail poutine are pure comfort food. They have a fully stocked bar with an excellent selection of beers on tap and an extensive selection of bourbons and whisky’s. More importantly they have a Toki Highball machine!! The staff is super friendly and even remembers your drink of choice! Go check this place out!“

I can customize my food by asking for nothing spicy... and they comply! However, I must say that I'm addicted to the Crab Fried Rice!!! I don't have to customize any of it. I was even brave enough to order the Tom Tom soup which is Hot and Sour soup. This soup is a tasty medicinal soup for any stomach issues or cold and flu issues. What I like the most about this soup 🍲 is that my feet are dancing while I am basking in this flavorful dish You owe it to yourself to get wrapped up in the warmth and and flavorful aroma while healing your body and soul. “Absolutely fell in LOVE with this place and this will be my go to place for dim sum in SF from now on. I discovered this gem when the line at good mong kok bakery was too long. There seemed to be plenty of locals in the restaurant so I decided to give it a shot. I spent around $40 got plenty of dim sum for the family to go around. The dim sum was hot, plump, and filled with meat!

We tried new moon last time, and was extremely disappointed because it was cold!! Plus, the have seating in the back. We will be coming back here. Bring cash!“

The menu is extensive and has a little bit for everyone’s craving for the day. You know it’s a good sign when you walk in and you hear the uncs and aunties yappin. It just means this place is authentic !

The Satay Beef Noodle soup was great. It has a spice in it I can’t pinpoint, but it made it unique to any other beef noodle soup I’ve had. I was expecting a taste closer to bun bo hue, but no it’s something different. Still very tasty! The cucumbers innit was a surprise and it worked very well.

The chicken wings came out piping hot and crunchy. The chicken itself didn’t have much flavor tho.

The chow fun is something I’d order again. The beef was cooked with a Smokiness flavor to it.

This spot accepts card for payment, so I am happy that I didn’t have to pull money at an ATM. The staff is very friendly and can give recommendations“

“I drove from Vallejo to try this place and boy was I disappointed. starting with the 90$ meal, the meat was so dry I could not even eat it The pulled pork tasted like sawdust, the ribs were dry,and the brisket and tri tip are horrible. the potato salad was very loose, and the green beans were burnt, had I lived in the area I would have brought it all back. fix the issues word of mouth can truly hurt your business. because I am writing this review on multiple sights.“

“Moku is great hawaiian BBQ! BBQ chicken and the fish combo are is awesome! The chicken katsu is also tasty. I really appreciate how they let you sub your rice for extra macaroni or extra vegetables - other hawaiian BBQ joints do not allow substitutions.“

“This place has the best Chinese barbecue especially Empress chicken, which is my favorite. They used to be in San Leandro and I’m so glad they moved to Oakland. I used to drive from Oakland to San Leandro just to buy their barbecue now longer need to make that trek. So happy they are in Chinatown now“

“Some of the best BBQ I've had since moving to California. Not cheap but worth the money. Ribs are especially good. Great potato salad. The best BBQ sauce I've ever had. Worth the price of the food just for that sauce. Get it medium - just the right heat on it. We spent $100 on 5 hungry adults last time I was there. Enough to fill us up. Everybody loved it.“
