Mashita Galbi Jjim Reviews
The drink size is insanely generous
The food on the very limited menu is tasty, albeit not healthy. I do like that they use Mary’s organic chicken but even that is super fatty. The signature beef dish looked delicious and very decadent but at over $80 and piled high with cheese and toppings, it serves 4 and it’s not my jam. Go if you just want a lot of food generally pretty inexpensive. It’s like $25 a person and tasty, just too unhealthy and casual for me.
Pretty good

Mashita Galbi Jjim is a new restaurant in San Francisco that offers an amazing dining experience. The food stands out for its delicious chicken wings and unique Brazilian limeade. In comparison to other galbijjim places, Mashita excels in providing high-quality meat with no bones, generous portion sizes, and various banchan that are proactively refilled. Unlike some competitors, Mashita includes additional items in the price, such as to-go boxes, purple rice, and cheese.
The restaurant's atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, allowing for reservations and offering a variety of menu items beyond just stews and soups. Customers have noted the galbijjim is super tender and flavorful, with less sweetness than some may prefer, making it a unique choice. The stew is enhanced by the addition of rice cakes and glass noodles, with no extra charge for these sides, unlike other places. While the service can be a bit slow during busy times, the overall experience is enjoyable and peaceful, allowing guests to have conversations without shouting. Mashita Galbi Jjim is highly recommended, even for those who usually compare restaurant meals to their mothers' cooking, as it provides an exceptional alternative to homemade galbijjim.
