“This barbecue restaurant is a true hidden gem! The service was incredibly prompt, and the staff's passion for their craft shone through. The food was a culinary delight, from the perfectly smoked ribs to the delectable sides. The cozy ambiance, with its wooden furnishings and soft lighting, created a relaxed atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding. I left with a full belly and a big smile.“

“You already know I do love my hole-in-the-wall food joints. This is a very quaint little place, hidden in broad daylight. ("hidden", as in if you don't know it's there, you'll breeze right by it.) They weren't busy at 4ish in the afternoon, and "Mom and Pop" were right there to greet me. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. Very, very flavorful and charbroiled, as advertised. Generous portion of hot, perfectly crispy fries. The drink selection could be a little better, but I get it: very small outfit where, I would guess, the profit margin isn't real big. No problem, there. All in all, I would highly recommend it if you're looking for good, well-prepared and very flavorful food, WITH generous portions!! You won't be disappointed. I know I'll be back to try out menu items.“

“Yes they bring the smoke!! JOIN THEIR EMAIL LIST! My first bite of brisket was yumyumyummy smokey. The smokey flavor on bbq is my favorite. It makes me so happy. Is that weird?.. It's a tier of flavor you can't often find around here. I ordered .5lb brisket and .5lb of pulled pork, plus 16oz of the mac and cheese to share with my spouse. My eyes were much bigger than my stomach cause I thought no way will this be enough, especially cause it was just so good. We ate and ate and got so freaking full. Couldn't even finish the plate. We enjoyed our meal and we're excited to try more from Quin and enjoy that smokey flavor again. There was nothing dry about these meats, the flavor was perfection and the mac and cheese has the balance of flavors I always dreamed of finding somewhere. Prior to this whole foods had my favorite mac and cheese. And if you prefer saucy meats they do include a very tasty sauce. Join the list! Thanks for taking the time to perfect your work Quin Fantastique!!“

“Recently dined at this fantastic barbecue joint, and it was a delightful experience! The friendly waitress added a warm touch to the atmosphere, making us feel right at home. The star of the show was undoubtedly the pulled pork barbecue sandwich – it was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. “We ordered a Roast Pig for the A's game tailgate. It came out really. Ordered 3 days prior and it was ready for pick up. I have eaten numerous time. Everything is pretty consistent. Great prices for the Har Gow (Shrimp Dumplings) & Shu Mai (Pork Dumplings). They are very good. The only downside is they don't have all the usual dim sum items. All their BBQ are good.“

“I have tried this place numerous times since it is close to where I live and the food tastes good and is consistent. My usials are the soy sauce chicken and bbq pork. The roasted pork tastes good too but I wish the pork skin could be more crunchy. For this reason I don't think I will order the roasted pork again, unless I really crave for roasted pork. The eating area is clean. However the reason I'm not giving it a five star is because the staff seems very unmotivated and lacks interest to work as if they are underpaid or something. Every time I went there for Togo I had to wait a long time even during a non busy time. Yesterday I phoned in first hoping to shorten my potential wait time. I went there to pick up my order after 15-20 mins. I paid for my order and still had to wait a long time given that I only ordered the simple dishes like a couple of rice plates. The total wait time was over 40 mins. AND it was not a busy time for them at all. Another customer ahead of me was also waiting and she finally went up and asked about her order. Then we realized that our orders were just sitting on the back table. The staff didn't even bother to ask or check with us at all when the orders were ready! I normally tip for togos but will not do so anymore for this place.“

“Was working in Oakland, and stopped here for some lunch. The food was very good. The service was excellent. A** for the ambiance, it was a nice clean well kept establishment. The selections I chose were well prepared, the house ranch and Teriyaki sauce were good as well. A definite must try if in the area.“

“As far as Mexican pan dulce (pastries) goes, they are pretty good at it. The basic pastries are more affordable. The pastries with filling and all the extras cost a little more. Be prepared, don't wanna read the nonsense on Nextdoor that it costs too much. Just because it's Mexican it doesn't entitle anyone to expect to pay less than your Starbucks or Peet's pastries with similar ingredients.“
