“This review is NOT for their chicken noodle (which I hear is very good) but for their seafood noodle soup and fresh squeezed sugarcane drinks! The seafood noodle soup doesn’t get its fair share of attention. It’s a delicious flavor and a generous portion. Plenty of ingredients, and ask them for the ginger sauce to go with it and it’s the bomb! We’ve been grabbing their sugarcane drinks for ages now. I prefer the simple one with kumquat but there’s lots of flavors to choose from. It’s always so thirst quenching especially on a warm day. Brings me back to Southeast Asia right away. My only gripe are the prices for the drinks sky rocketed in the past year, but that’s inflation for ya.They just expanded their indoor space so there’s almost twice as many tables now and they’re usually full at peak lunchtime. Easy parking in the mall lot. Come just past lunchtime like around 1 or 1:30pm to avoid the crowds.“
“This is one of my favorite American Chinese food spot in the east bay. You will know why this place is popular when the server does everything she can to stuff more food in your container. My wife was murmering "I think that's enough" as the server was packing all the meat and she rarely ever says that. Overall, great bang for your money here.Plus they have shrimp with lobster sauce that's not in the menu. I come from east coast and it was my bread and butter dish but it seems hard to find in west coast. So seeing a place serve it was a deal breaker for me.Here's the latest menu for you guys to check out what they serve and pricing before you head out here.“
“My lunch plate was super delicious. I had got a honey, walnut, shrimp and chow mein. It was super flavorful not even salty like the most Chinese food places candy when it comes to chow mein the guy who took my order of the phone was super nice super friendly and professional, and he was like that when I walked in the place is very clean, very chill and very relaxed.“
“Don't be fool by it's appearance. It used to be you can dine in before pandemic. However, they offer to go only. Food is very tasty ,and you get a good portion for a decent price. Lunch rice plate is around $9:00,is served until 3:00pm. Credit card accepted. Let's support this tiny place with good food ,good price by a good family always with a smile.??❤️Parking: Parking ar rear with limited space, but you always can find street parking.“
“They printed in bold on the cover of the menu “NO MSG” & they are true to the words. I did not get thirsty after eating.I bought 2 orders. They cook while I waited. When I get home, it is still HOT. BIG portion. The meat was accompanied by plenty of vegetables. This is GENUINE Chinese cooking with salt, sugar, condiments & herbs. While the other restaurants that have changed hands are reintroducing the notorious MSG, Ga Hing is one of those last bastions that maintains the real cooking.Only AMATEUR use MSG.“
“I ordered the braised eggplant with fish garlic sauce, and the pork noodle dish. While each dish was cooked with precision, the flavors failed to leave a lasting impression. Despite their culinary craftsmanship, the flavors lacked the depth and vibrancy I had hoped for, leaving me searching for ways to enhance the taste so I added soy sauce and chili sauce. The restaurant serves as a casual outing, However, for those in pursuit of culinary enchantment and gastronomic delight, it may be worth exploring other dishes for a more captivating experience. There were fresh dumplings being made, so if I come back, I will definitely order some of those. The restaurant was pretty, quiet, and a tip I would give to the owner is to play some music in the background.“
“Three favorable things caught my attention at this restaurant. One, I was pleasantly greeted by the owner when I walked through the door. Two, the portions were very, very generous. And three, there were NO peas in the fried rice. Don't get me wrong, I love peas, just not a fan of peas in my fried rice...I'm the one who annoyingly picks them out. There are two styles of Chow Mein, I chose the thin noodles and not because one looked better than the other...I just wanted to get my fill of the other goodies in my box.Parking: A few spaces in front; shared parking with 7-11 convenience store.“
“Up until recently this bakery was the only Chinese bakery in town and the whole area! Now 2 others opened but this is only mom and pop old school Chinese bakery. The locals love this place and sometimes the line will reach the door. There is one lady behind the counter taking orders, packing, and billing. On one occasion an older non-Asian man ordered 12 pork buns! He knows what’s good! Most items sell out by the afternoon so go early in the morning for warm fresh bread!“
“staff is very friendly and efficient! love the fun concept mixed with tasty traditional noodles. I got R2 and the soup base is delicious; combined with all the toppings that come with it, it's a very filling meal and worth the price. store is clean, has different seating styles, nice lighting, and overall great atmosphere.“
“Take out review: Best Peking spareribs I've had just about anywhere! The other items we got (salt and pepper fish fillet, dry braise beef chow fun, and BBQ pork fried rice) were good, not great, but the spare ribs provide PLENTY of reason to return. Prices are also cheap compared to other places around town. Can't wait to try out the rest of the menu! Quick tip - call to place your order instead of ordering online to save money.“
“This is a small family restaurant. The menu is impressively large. My friend is vegetarian and I am consuming low carb. We both found things to accommodate our special dietary needs. The food was prepared very quickly and was fresh and very tasty.“
“My son's favorite place for fried rice and noodles Food is set up under glass in heating pans Sometimes fresh sometimes not so fresh But all in all food is tasty when you get it hot Lots of food for a 2 or 3 item meal Price is fair Also just found out After 7 or 8 pm (close at 830) If you buy 2 meals you get 3rd for free Even without that bonus this is our spot for quick cheap Chinese“
“I have been coming here for years and have always had great service. When I call in my order the lady knows my voice and always asks if I want the mushroom chicken (my usual) or something different. Went today and hadn't been here for months, and she still recognized my voice“
“I JUST ordered, and received, my first ever ordered from JL Kitchen. Had it delivered. First of all, let me say that this is the very first time EVER receiving piping hot delivered food, from ANYWHERE!! So, big kudos for that! The portions are amazing! So much so that I shared it with my neighbor and am still STUFFED! The food, itself, was incredibly delicious!! First bite was a flavor explosion!! I will absolutely be ordering from them again.“
“Came here on MLK day for some dim sum and I was not disappointed. It took a while for everything to come out, but it was all warm and yummy so worth the wait. Some highlights were the egg tart, the siu mai, and lo mai gai. I'm a big fan of egg tarts and these are definitely top six. The texture of the crust was flaky in the best way, and the filling was perfectly cooked and silky. The location is a little hard to find parking but it's worth it!“
“Our go to for a quick lunch to go. The all day lunch specials are decent and prices are the cheapest you can find anywhere. The old couple running the place are also quite sweet. Since COVID they only do take out. So call and order or do doordash or something. My favorites are the salted fish fried rice and kung pao fish/shrimp lunch special. It's just off of E14th so not on the main strip but just around the corner. Easy access from anywhere in the 'Dro.“
“We’ve known of this place for a long time and have been here before. However, I had never posted a review about them and I feel like they deserve it, not only due to their good food but also due to their excellent customer service. My son and I got the #10 L and XL respectively and it is really, really good. Also got the milk tea and with bobba. It is way too sweet both; for my taste and for my max sugar daily intake. That is my only complaint but not a big deal for me. They have plenty of parking and their men’s restroom is ADA compliantParking: There is plenty of parking, alwaysWheelchair accessibility: Men’s restroom is ADA compliant“
“Absolutely delicious food with really broad and diverse menu. Very attentive, courteous and quick service. This is really authentic, high quality Chinese food. Generous portions, too.Bring warm clothes, though - it was as cold as a refrigerator inside.Parking: Large and nearly empty parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Completely accessible“
“Menu have pictures to better illustrate the items which makes orderings easy especially for 1st time patrons. Service is fast and quick, they bring you hot tea right after you sit down. This is a eat and go sort of place, not great to chat or mingle. Parking is super easy even on the weekends. The staff speaks Cantonese, mandarin and English as well. Portions are generous as well.“
“I used to work Landscaping, and I'd come here after lunch. The Best Tasting Chinese food. Asia Delight, 15 Years later. Still Here and Standing strong... This Beautiful Gem of a Restaurant still tastes Delicious. My compliments to the chef and the Hard working ladies.“
“Food is good (except shrimp dumplings 蝦餃 which is just so so), service is great, and priced fairly.3 issues: (1) They may not have enough staff to handle good business. (Under new ownership, give it some time)(2) Parking is not easy if you come at noon.(3) It's a bit noisy because the tables are close to each other.I live nearby so I know parking is always a problem, just come earlier and try the good dim sum.“
“I went to Fusion Delight for a wedding banquet, which means several mass produced dishes for 20 tables. The food was really good, came out on time, the staff were responsive to needs and there was space for a door floor and other wedding stations (photo booth, etc.)Sometimes wedding banquets can be hit or miss but this one was good. I wouldn't mind trying this for a normal lunch or dinner.“
“My family and I finally got to try Dough Zone and so happy I did. We ordered two fried potstickers, wonton soup, beef noodle soup, onion pancakes and the cucumbers. Everything was hot and delicious! My kids ate everything which was awesome because they can be picky. We finished everything and they already asked to return on the car ride home. Highly recommend! Check them out and you will not be disappointed!“
