“We are new to the area and so far have had pizza from Bluebirds twice. First time my husband went and picked it up, the second we ate in. This is some of the best pizza we have ever had and my husband is from Philly. I’ve had pizza in NYC and this was better. Few tables inside but worth eating in, they have an unusual selection of beers and non alcoholic drinks. If you have never had Bluebirds, you have to eat there.“

Today I ordered the veg sampler appetizer and the chicken beriani, and once again it's so good I nearly fell out of my chair. The beriani is so unlike anything I've had before, and I can't get enough of it. The falafel is the absolute best I've ever had - crunchy outside but perfectly moist inside. This place is an absolute gem - food made with love and intention, and incredibly kind and attentive staff.“

“Nice and cozy place in San Leandro to get Japanese food. The ambience is nice and I love the interior design. Good selection of beer and sake too. The sashimis are fresh and flavorful, and they pay great attention to the aesthetic of the plate. Definitely Instagram worthy plates. The rolls are also very delicious. I got the garlic albacore roll and it was so good. Also the fatty bluefin tuna sashimi (Toro) is so worth every penny. They're one of the few sushi restaurants around San Leandro that serve it and it just tastes so much better than every other sashimi imo. It's a bit of a mix between tuna and the fattiness of salmon sashimi. A little bit pricey compared to other Japanese restaurants in the area, but definitely worth your money.“

“I absolutely love Fifth Wheel and have been going almost every Saturday for the past few years with my partner. It started when he moved to the area and we were looking for a new breakfast spot. The other spots just didn't hit the mark, but Fifth Wheel has been consistent. Everyone on staff is so nice and the restaurant is cozy. It's not too big inside, so you may be waiting, but it never takes too long during the peak times on Saturdays. Ordering to go is also a nice and quick option if you don't want to wait.“

“Amazing food and great presentation! We ordered several sushi rolls, poke bowls, takoyaki, and fried appetizers, and everything was fresh and delicious.

The salmon was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the poke bowls were packed with high-quality ingredients. The avocado rolls were creamy and well-balanced, while the takoyaki was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The fried items were perfectly cooked and not greasy at all.

Another customer on a different occasion came in asking for something off menu and they politely informed them it couldn't be made. No rolling eyes, no condescending tone.
