“I go for the Greek salad ? I usually add some type of protein shrimp or chicken and it's one of the best salads that I ever had especially since I'm trying to lose weight and I love the way these salads are made I don't like cucumbers and I was able to eat the cucumbers in the salad so the salad had to be pretty good for me to eat cucumbers and I can't stand cucumbers all of my life”

“Great place to hang out, have snacks or a meal. Recommend bringing a beer geek with you to sift through the multitude of beery offerings. They have an impressive selection of "old school" beers in bottles: barleywine (above average), imperial stout (multiple varieties), and Belgian dubbel (also above average). Not much for the kids to drink, though my 11 and 14 each found something decent. The Caesar salad is the best I've ever had, the pizza is decent, and the service is good.Demerits for the bench seating with no backs for the Over 40 crowd, the minimal kid drink selection, and it can be difficult to find parking nearby on the weekends.”

“Greeted with amazing service from beginning to end. We brought a little baby and forgot to bring our scissor to cut the food into tiny bits. The kind waiter gave us one to use, and without asking gave us extra napkins, a cup with a straw, and a baby bowl. Is the waiter a parent too? Because he gets it! We appreciate the gesture! Food is delicious too, of course. We went back several times. :)”

“Excellent place to host parties!! Spacious inside and out. Staff was super friendly and easy to work with. Food was excellent! I had my daughter's 5h birthday party here and had a blast! Would definitely consider this place again for large parties! Pizza was hot and crispy with a nice crust! Chock full of fresh ingredients! Potato wedges were huge, piping hot, and super delicious. Best dish of the day: their fried chicken. Sleeper dish, I'm telling you. Don't knock it til you try it! Super crispy outside and insanely moist and tender on the inside. And I'm talking about the breast! Come yell at me if you don't like it. Thumbs up!”

My companion got the As Kneaded French toast - I could taste the orange zest and cinnamon in the batter. Served with maple butter. No wait! “Went here for my birthday recently. Couldn't get over how good that food was. I think i might've had a dream about it after. This could be one of the best sushi restaurants in the east bay, especially after so many places closed since covid or went under new management. The service was excellent, i loved the traditional decor, but the food. THE FOOD! So fresh and beautiful, perfect smell and color. I'll definitely come back.”

“Overall great first time experience. I ordered the filet mignon Medium rare, it was cooked accordingly. The dish as a whole was very enjoyable and the mashed potatoes were really tasty. No chunks of potato like at other places, smooth and flavorful. Would definitely come back and recommend others to try this location. My mother really liked the apple and prosciutto salad. Just from glancing at it, it did look good and was recommended by the waitress. Expect to pay $20-$50 per person minimum.”

“This is old school Mexican restaurant and food and thank goodness it still exists. Maze like interiors with old style decor, frescos on the walls, heavy furniture. It just gets more beautiful as the night comes. Polite helpful servers that know the menu. Lots of new variations but I went with the Chile relleno, cheese enchilada, rice and beans. It rushed me back to my childhood. Enjoy.”

“Walk in here with my brothers and son. Was not busy at all. Always wanted to try this spot since I heard the reviews for all the folks that live in SL. Atmosphere was great, felt homey. Service was great since the guy was very patient. I’ll be honest I did not know what I wanted. They did had some display by the slices. Detroit paesano caught our attention. We also went with their recommend pie they referred. Took the food home and took pics of it. Now for the actual taste. Tried the recommended pizza first. Crust was awesome, crunchy, chewy. The sauce was a sweet marinara, and they had fresh mozzarella. Fresh mozzarella was delicious but I’m not a fan of the marinara.overall I’ll rate that pizza a 6/10. Now for that Detroit pizza. The first bite was divine, savory marinara sauce with pepperoni, meat ball, mushrooms. It was also like a deep dish pizza. It was definitely on point, crispy ,crunch ,chewy crust. 8.5/10, 9/10 when I added their crush red pepper to add a really decent kick.”

“5 stars for service!! Staff was super attentive and quick & hardworking despite it being quite busy. Refilled our bonchons when it got empty without us asking, explained what different sauces/things were for.Food was pretty good. Ginseng chicken was a little bit dry for the chicken and lacking in ginseng, but this is in comparison to the ones I had in Korea. Tofu soup & seafood pancake were pretty good; had better elsewhere (not in the bay) but it does the job. Japchae was a little too elastic but had good taste! Slightly on the pricier end as well (tofu soup was $17.5)”

“Three favorable things caught my attention at this restaurant. One, I was pleasantly greeted by the owner when I walked through the door. Two, the portions were very, very generous. And three, there were NO peas in the fried rice. Don't get me wrong, I love peas, just not a fan of peas in my fried rice...I'm the one who annoyingly picks them out. There are two styles of Chow Mein, I chose the thin noodles and not because one looked better than the other...I just wanted to get my fill of the other goodies in my box.Parking: A few spaces in front; shared parking with 7-11 convenience store.”

“Yes they bring the smoke!! JOIN THEIR EMAIL LIST! My first bite of brisket was yumyumyummy smokey. The smokey flavor on bbq is my favorite. It makes me so happy. Is that weird?.. It's a tier of flavor you can't often find around here. I ordered .5lb brisket and .5lb of pulled pork, plus 16oz of the mac and cheese to share with my spouse. My eyes were much bigger than my stomach cause I thought no way will this be enough, especially cause it was just so good. We ate and ate and got so freaking full. Couldn't even finish the plate. We enjoyed our meal and we're excited to try more from Quin and enjoy that smokey flavor again. There was nothing dry about these meats, the flavor was perfection and the mac and cheese has the balance of flavors I always dreamed of finding somewhere. Prior to this whole foods had my favorite mac and cheese. And if you prefer saucy meats they do include a very tasty sauce. Join the list! Thanks for taking the time to perfect your work Quin Fantastique!!”
