“Great place to hang out, have snacks or a meal. Recommend bringing a beer geek with you to sift through the multitude of beery offerings. They have an impressive selection of "old school" beers in bottles: barleywine (above average), imperial stout (multiple varieties), and Belgian dubbel (also above average). Not much for the kids to drink, though my 11 and 14 each found something decent. The Caesar salad is the best I've ever had, the pizza is decent, and the service is good.Demerits for the bench seating with no backs for the Over 40 crowd, the minimal kid drink selection, and it can be difficult to find parking nearby on the weekends.”
“Greeted with amazing service from beginning to end. We brought a little baby and forgot to bring our scissor to cut the food into tiny bits. The kind waiter gave us one to use, and without asking gave us extra napkins, a cup with a straw, and a baby bowl. Is the waiter a parent too? Because he gets it! We appreciate the gesture! Food is delicious too, of course. We went back several times. :)”
“Excellent service all around, starting with prompt responses to my questions over text message, to a warm welcome when we arrived and attentive service from all the staff throughout our dining experience. All the dishes we ordered were amazing; from the raw and grilled oysters, salads, to the sandwiches/entrees and hand crafted cocktails/drinks, everything was delicious. What a gem in this neighborhood! Definitely recommend, especially if you are celebrating a special occasion. We had such a great time for my birthday.”
“Went to next door coffee shop for a quick chat with a friend, but it was packed. Decided to come here for lunch. It was a very nice surprise. Great food, great menu choice and very pleasant stop. Thank you.Parking: back of building has free 2 hour parking”
“Excellent place to host parties!! Spacious inside and out. Staff was super friendly and easy to work with. Food was excellent! I had my daughter's 5h birthday party here and had a blast! Would definitely consider this place again for large parties! Pizza was hot and crispy with a nice crust! Chock full of fresh ingredients! Potato wedges were huge, piping hot, and super delicious. Best dish of the day: their fried chicken. Sleeper dish, I'm telling you. Don't knock it til you try it! Super crispy outside and insanely moist and tender on the inside. And I'm talking about the breast! Come yell at me if you don't like it. Thumbs up!”

“I go for the Greek salad ? I usually add some type of protein shrimp or chicken and it's one of the best salads that I ever had especially since I'm trying to lose weight and I love the way these salads are made I don't like cucumbers and I was able to eat the cucumbers in the salad so the salad had to be pretty good for me to eat cucumbers and I can't stand cucumbers all of my life”

“You will not regret going to Clancy's. My family have been eating ice cream from Clancy's for over 20yrs and have never been disappointed. They have a great variety of flavors to offer and the scoops are much larger than most. The staff is friendly and serve with a smile. No place to sit inside or outside but it's worth the trip!”
“I absolutely love this place and their ice cream! I was looking for some koolfi in the Bay and stumbled across Koolfi Creamery, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Their Bombay Butterscotch flavor is my favorite, but every flavor I’ve tried has been amazing. Highly recommended.”
“Very light with sauce and light in salt. Taste homemade and the crust is chewy yet crispy on the outside. Very willing to do customized orders and very friendly. I've had better pizza but not as healthy and the service was great for a pickup order. Excellent beer choices as well. Got German beers that were excellent and I would not have ever been introduced to otherwise.”
“This is kind of an out of the way spot which is taking over an old pho restaurant.I flew in late to Oakland airport, I need something warm and homey. Frankly, I was itching for a good ramen. Having lived in the Bay Area many years, I knew I could find something like that. This place wasn't too far off of my path, and it was late and they were still open.Walking in the place is fairly unassuming, yet there is still some customers there. Almost that closing. I asked quickly if it was too late to grab a ramen, the kind gal could be said please have a seat.Looking around, I saw several tables that were covered with dirty dishes and uneaten food. Well that wasn't necessarily a great first impression, at least they had a good rush.Sitting down I received a menu, and a glass of cold water.Looking at the menu there was a variety of ramens to choose from, and so I went to my go-to Tonkotsu. Almost nothing better than a Tonkotsu with Chashu late at night. Done that many times after hours in Tokyo.Anyway I had to add Gyoza as a side to complete it.First come out the gyoza, and their fried on all sides. That is not my first choice, and this is very common when prepared by non-Japanese. I bit in, and while decent, they were not great. But the Ramen came out, and I was very excited. It smelled right, the broth was piping hot, and there was several good pieces of Chashu.First, I sip the broth. It was good and hot. Second, I slurped the noodles, they are firm, warm, and perfect flavor. I grab a little sneak bite of a Chashu, It's warm, nice savory flavor, and a good thick piece. I'm pleased. I dive in. Before I knew it the ramen was gone, Gyoza, pretty much gone, and I was very full. The broth was nice and hardy, with a savory thick flavor, and simply it was a calming experience before hitting the hotel. For me my final question is always "would I go back?" The answer is a definite yes. Though I probably would not get the gyoza. But if you're looking for a good ramen, I recommend.”
“Thanks to As Kneaded Bakery San Leandro has one of the best bakeries in the world. The Pain D’Epi is amazing as is their sandwiches especially the curried cauliflower sandwich. Just perfection.”
“If you are looking for everything for me to pray, I advise you to try this restaurant. It was an amazing taste. Al-Mandi #1, food service, 5-star ambiance, and there is a place designated for families.Thank you, Abu Yahya”
“When I walk in atmosphere was really chill. Great decor selection and the service was spot on. For the food, I got a wet burrito and it was good quality steak and ingredients. Some places the steak isn't that good its like choice cut, this place the beef was fresh, the owner or the owners dad came to check on me, overall 5 star spot that I'd go to again”

“The 5th Wheel in San Leandro is a true go-to diner! It's all about fast, fresh food that keeps the community coming back. Our order was quick, fresh, and you can tell they're popular by the bustling scene. Loads of to-go orders, too. Here's what I got: Two eggs scrambled with cheese Wheat toast Super delicious hash browns Country fried steak All cooked to perfection. If you're after quality eats in a friendly atmosphere, this is the spot. Highly recommend!”

“Saigon house has been on of our regular rotation for a while. We’ve had a small variety of items from pho, vermicelli, and rice plates. There’s still a lot on the menu we need to try! Everything we’ve had has been good. Food is fresh and delicious. Most recently we had the wonton noodle soup. It had a tasty broth, good wontons which was separated from the shrimp. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and the egg noodles were delicious! They get busy very quickly so order early!”

My companion got the As Kneaded French toast - I could taste the orange zest and cinnamon in the batter. Served with maple butter. No wait! We were there between 10:15-11:30 AM and there were plenty of available tables inside and out.”

“This amazing local bar is newly owned. I learned the new owners sponsor a pool team and so every now and then host games there in the evenings. They also have Trivia nights, I believe I saw a darts board hanging, There are over 7+ TV's hanging around the bar. The bartenders are all super friendly and down to earth, and special shout out to Lori, a legendary barkeep in the area! They have Irish-themed food from 5-10p and brunch during NFL season!”
“Sabino's is simply a neighborhood gem. The coffee is delicious and they have a good variety of snacks and pastries. Their outdoor patio is a beautiful place to get some writing done and they have stable Wi-Fi and a bathroom so I'm happy!”
“Fiji Fry House is between a Salvadoran bakery at the end of the block and a car repair shop across the street. The shop has an American and Fiji flag at it's side, the only decor visible. The food differs from other Fiji eats i've tasted. The food here has it's distinctness and it's influences from Indian food. Offerings: appetizers, curry tacos, Fiji fried chicken, curry rice box, ala carte, desserts, drinks... Drill: order by phone or at window, pay, food cooked to order. Eats: bhajia (9.75) -similar to pakora. Distinct in having thin flour coating, not a thick batter. 4 pieces of grounded spinach, veggies are moist throughout not dry. Has a chutney dipping sauce. Lamb & potato curry (19.75) -crunchy papadum wafer with flavorful vegetable pulao rice of fresh kachumber, pickled veggies, tumeric to soak up masala gravy. -lamb & potato in tomato and spicy masala gravy adds a spicy kick. Very fulfilling. *couple of tables nearby to dine on. **many entrees have a fusion theme combing Indian & Fiji cooking techniques..da best of 2 cuisines.”

“Took me awhile to find a great deli and sandwich shop when I moved to San Lorenzo. Baras is it! Love their sandwiches. Haven't explored the total menu but we'll get there.”
“Went in during a Monday afternoon to work on my laptop and really enjoyed the ambiance. It’s very spacious with indoor and outdoor seating, added bonus: play area for kids. I sat at the window seats and people watched. I got their canned cold brew which was delicious.”

“The staff here are consistently the friendliest every time we visit. They offer a diverse range of food options, including enchiladas, fish, ribs on certain days, turkey, and stuffed bell peppers.Harry's serves comforting food and is ideal for parties. We always feel warmly welcomed when we're here. However, it's unfortunate that you can't tip the staff on the machine, so be sure to bring cash for tips.”
“My fav items here are the passionfruit mango agua fresca and the empapelados with carne asada! I was not familiar with some of these snacks but owner, Diana, is so friendly and was able to teach me more about Mexican snacks! Love coming here and trying other items as well. Definitely try a marquesita!!!!”
“This place was great and had good food but not enough for five stars tbh. Some of the food items are great and some are okay and need a bit more seasoning. Sometimes it's hard to get the attention of the staff. Some of the items are a bit pricy.”

“Went here for my birthday recently. Couldn't get over how good that food was. I think i might've had a dream about it after. This could be one of the best sushi restaurants in the east bay, especially after so many places closed since covid or went under new management. The service was excellent, i loved the traditional decor, but the food. THE FOOD! So fresh and beautiful, perfect smell and color. I'll definitely come back.”

Paradiso
“Overall great first time experience. I ordered the filet mignon Medium rare, it was cooked accordingly. The dish as a whole was very enjoyable and the mashed potatoes were really tasty. No chunks of potato like at other places, smooth and flavorful. Would definitely come back and recommend others to try this location. My mother really liked the apple and prosciutto salad. Just from glancing at it, it did look good and was recommended by the waitress. Expect to pay $20-$50 per person minimum.”

“Since moving to the neighborhood a few years ago, this Chinese restaurant has become our favorite takeout spot. Their fried rice and eggplant fried tofu dish are consistently excellent, keeping us coming back for more. We appreciate the consistently delicious food and reliable service whenever we crave Chinese cuisine!”

“This barbecue restaurant is a true hidden gem! The service was incredibly prompt, and the staff's passion for their craft shone through. The food was a culinary delight, from the perfectly smoked ribs to the delectable sides. The cozy ambiance, with its wooden furnishings and soft lighting, created a relaxed atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding. I left with a full belly and a big smile.”
“Nuestra Mesaras Jennifer y Iridiana tuvieron un excelente servicio siempre estaban al pendiente de nosotro. Nuestra comida las fajitas Supremes estaban ricas. Volveremos a regresa.”
“Dropped by here over the weekend. Been coming here for years, long before the pandemic. Been to other places that sell dumplings too. Some of those places sell premium dumplings too. The dumplings at this place are good. On par with the expensive places around the bay, even in LA.The service is okay. The atmosphere is casual.Definitely my go to pot for dumplings.”
“The owner and her staff are very nice and helpful. It's convenient, next to Rite Aid. I first discovered this place last summer and had their slice and drink special. I was so surprised at how heavy and tasty the pizza was. My fave is their garlic chicken pizza.”
“When my grandkids come over we all love to order one of the big supreme 20", 16 slice pizzas. Lots for everyone and the Greek salad is great with their special vinaigrette dressing. Get what your paying for here and enjoy the superb pizza sauce and fresh toppings! Family owned and run in our neighborhood. From small to giant pizzas, they have one for you!”
“Their salt and pepper chicken cartilage is so good! Also really like their original flavor noodles. The spicy beef brisket one is really good too but can feel a bit too greasy as you eat ”
“We were in the area and searching for a boba place when we found Smoothie and Wings on the map just off East 14th. S&W has a huge dining area with two separate rooms with tables and chairs. We ordered a couple of drinks with the matcha and mango recommended by the workers. It was tasty and we were extremely happy with the $1 upgrade to their super size. We definitely come back again when we’re back in the area.”
“Great Indian takeout in San Leandro / Oakland boarder. Warning: butter chicken is addictive! Signs of withdrawal: watery mouth, lack of interest in other food and dream about an orange creamy stew over basmati rice.Tip: spicy option is HOOOT. Settle for medium”
“Love watching the sunset ? as we ate and enjoyed each other company. The waitress was great at giving suggestions on the menu. Her suggestions turned out wonderful. Scallops, crab dip, coconut shrimp and sides came out hot and delicious. Dragon Fizz drink was delicious ?”
“One of my go to local Japanese restaurants. Mainly because of their Godzilla roll. I don't think I've had or seen Godzilla rolls at other Japanese restaurants and the one here is quite good. The sashimi pieces are thick. However, their rolls are on average smaller than many Japanese restaurant I've been to. The service is good. I also really like their decoration.”

“This is old school Mexican restaurant and food and thank goodness it still exists. Maze like interiors with old style decor, frescos on the walls, heavy furniture. It just gets more beautiful as the night comes. Polite helpful servers that know the menu. Lots of new variations but I went with the Chile relleno, cheese enchilada, rice and beans. It rushed me back to my childhood. Enjoy.”

Slice House
“Walk in here with my brothers and son. Was not busy at all. Always wanted to try this spot since I heard the reviews for all the folks that live in SL. Atmosphere was great, felt homey. Service was great since the guy was very patient. I’ll be honest I did not know what I wanted. They did had some display by the slices. Detroit paesano caught our attention. We also went with their recommend pie they referred. Took the food home and took pics of it. Now for the actual taste. Tried the recommended pizza first. Crust was awesome, crunchy, chewy. The sauce was a sweet marinara, and they had fresh mozzarella. Fresh mozzarella was delicious but I’m not a fan of the marinara.overall I’ll rate that pizza a 6/10. Now for that Detroit pizza. The first bite was divine, savory marinara sauce with pepperoni, meat ball, mushrooms. It was also like a deep dish pizza. It was definitely on point, crispy ,crunch ,chewy crust. 8.5/10, 9/10 when I added their crush red pepper to add a really decent kick.”
24 Hour Restaurants
“I have never been served as fast as this location. They were pretty busy too. I swear the food was out to us within 5 minutes. I thought they brought food to the wrong table. It was the fast.”
“We came in ok monday and ordered around 8:16 pm. I was VERY impressed, in fact most impressed by the quality overall. It’s been awhile since I ate Denny’s as one of the last times I didn’t have too good of an experience. My husband ordered the new strawberry stuffed French toast and I ordered the breakfast slamburger (I think that’s what it’s called) and pancakes for the kids. Soooooo good! I can’t even tell you the last time I was this happy with my food overall from anywhere but my own kitchen. Everyone was full and satisfied which can be rare for the whole family to experience. Huge shout out to the cook(s) thank you! We ate every last bit :D The manager (she seated us & checked us out) was amazing. She made us feel so welcome. She's definitely the person you want handling customers & would be a great customer service trainer. From beginning to end,we really had an awesome visit. . Our waitress was quick & friendly. She also came back to check on us a couple times. Our food was hot & delicious. The restaurant was very clean inside & out. Reasonably priced. When we left, the manager said "Goodnight fam,we'll see you again soon." And you know what..we felt like family & will definitely be back i recomend this Cali Club Sandwich, New Mile High Denver Omelette, Hamburger, Grilled Chicken, Cheeseburger, Sausage, Grand Slam Breakfast, French Toast, Hash Browns, Cinnamon Roll y Strawberry french toast coffee was fresh strawberry smothie was the boom !!”

Takeout Restaurants
“Post lunch milk shake! Clancy's is closed on Wednesdays, and I wasn't going to be denied! We swung over to Loards and got our fix. The shop is in front of their production facility. There's a small parking lot and plenty of street parking. Not sure what happens at night though. We were greeted from the back room as we entered. Apparently, the person who works the counter has other responsibilities as well. She came out very quickly, was friendly and asked how she could help us. The shop is a throwback to ice cream parlors of olde. There was an open case with sodas and a coffin case with plenty of "pints" & "quarts". The flavor menu was on a board above and behind the counter. The service freezer was a older type design where each rectangle and two doors that were hinged and could be opened separately or completely removed from the opening. The doors were not see-through unlike a more contemporary ice cream parlor. She got a Champagne Sherbet Freeze which she thoroughly enjoyed. It started with a new can of Club Soda, the remainder was presented to us when the drink was completed. I got a Coffee Shake. It was all ice cream, no milk. Probably thick enough to stay in the cup upside down and thin enough to go through a straw. Not a bad deal for $5.95. Definitely worth a visit when in the area and craving ice cream! Next time, a Banana Shake with Banana!”
“One of the best fried chicken in a long time. It looks dry but there's a lot of juice and flavor once you get into it. If it was delivered I don't think it would taste as good. The fried cod was good but not great because it wasn't juicy or buttery soft. The cornbread sides were yummy. The Mac and cheese was cheeeeesy and thick and medium spicy. Collard greens were normal. Green beans were sweet and yummy. Fries were normal fries.I asked for tap water since I didn't want a drink and the server looked surprised (and partly disgusted because I wanted faucet water?) and asked if I wanted bottled water instead. I said sure so we could end the conversation and didn't see the charge on the final receipt. I wasn't sure if the server forgot to add it or bottled water is free. Overall not a complaint but if you want to avoid drink confusion, either don't order water or bring your own lol”
“I would give this place money more often if they were open at times I could purchase it’s been countless times where I was craving them and they were closed. But when they were open the food and smoothies are ”
“This one is definitely in my top 3 Mexican restaurants in Bay area.Their fresh orange juice is yum yum!Take your friends, family & co-workers to have a big feast.#Happy Eating”
“This is basically an 80s/90s restaurant & bakery joint like Coco's, Marie Callender's etc. They are still serving full meals, meaning entrees + soups/salads, with traditional sides galore, along with an extensive list of burgers/sandwiches, Mex-Am comfort food, and good breakfast items. The furniture needs updating for sure, and it'd be nice if veggies weren't steamed to death and there was more seasoning cooked into the food all-around. But you know what? You're going to find something here that pleases everyone, and it's a well-oiled machine that's probably been rolling for decades. Hits the spot.”
“Our go to spot to get fish sandwiches and pork bun. They definitely raise the price on the fish sandwiches, but it's worth every penny . The service is pretty quick as you come in and right out. Come by early as they sell out quick. Everything is made fresh.”
“Very nice spot. Karaoke on Wednesdays is one of the best nights!! along with it being a Black owned establishment. Catfish is FIREEE! and Kris behind the bar is always on point!!Parking: Plenty of parking and free”
“Food is good, but it is kindve inconsistent. Some days the food is tasting better than other days. It’s always good tho. THEY LOAD YOUR PLATE UPPP, which is amazing for a broke college student like me. One complaint I have is when you want chicken, you just get a bite of fried Skin. I want the chunks oh ”
“Best tasting pizza places in the bay area. My experience at mountain Mike's San Leandro Marina was delicious. I highly recommend this place. I've been here 3 times already and pizza came out fantastic 3 times. The buffet is definitely worth it ? and tasty including the salad. I will be coming again often. ?”
“This is a really nice restaurant in a great location. It's peaceful, cozy and has a nice outdoor patio. I appreciate that because I can bring my dog there. The staff were kind and attentive. The food was exquisite. I will definitely go here again as it's now my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the area.”
“Been coming to this same truck FOREVER. The food is on repeat. Literally never a bad day. Being a regular and knowing it's the same person you see always has me know the food has a face. Service on point, and the ambiance is what you'd expect from any food truck. I'd recommend this spot to anyone. My normal go tos are the chorizo breakfast burrito, any of the tacos, any of the burittos. I always mix it up.”

“This is one of those whole in the wall. The food is good! Ingredients are fresh. It’s the fresh ginger that did it for me. I’ve ordered take out, dine in multiple times. Just know that if you dine in, they’ll serve the food in paper plates. Which is fine, I guess. So don’t expect an aesthetic look. Not this place. It’s simply a good place to eat. Period.I like that they have Poke and a good selection of sushi. The spicy edamame isn’t very spicy, but it’s yummy! ?We ordered the dragon roll, the Lion king roll, and fried California roll.”
“Food excellent, generous, great taste, vibe, clean, 1960's segregation vibe, service tolerant not hostile not friendly, polite, not attentive by choice. Good if you don't feel like cooking yourself.”
“5 stars for service!! Staff was super attentive and quick & hardworking despite it being quite busy. Refilled our bonchons when it got empty without us asking, explained what different sauces/things were for.Food was pretty good. Ginseng chicken was a little bit dry for the chicken and lacking in ginseng, but this is in comparison to the ones I had in Korea. Tofu soup & seafood pancake were pretty good; had better elsewhere (not in the bay) but it does the job. Japchae was a little too elastic but had good taste! Slightly on the pricier end as well (tofu soup was $17.5)”
“When my grandkids come over we all love to order one of the big supreme 20", 16 slice pizzas. Lots for everyone and the Greek salad is great with their special vinaigrette dressing. Get what your paying for here and enjoy the superb pizza sauce and fresh toppings! Family owned and run in our neighborhood. From small to giant pizzas, they have one for you!”
“Yummm and I love their all day HH. I came here on a Tuesday around 5-6pm. It wasn't popping and was kinda dead but I kinda expected that on a Tuesday. We got the two rolls for $20 deal. I got the dragon roll and my partner got the lion king. We also got the agedashi tofu. The food was enjoyable and the price was great. We'll be coming back for their all day HH again.”

“its pretty chill, i just hope that after the oakland in n out closing the robbers wont move over to this in n out. its already a really mid atmosphere in the area with it struggling with the homelessness problem so robbers coming over would make this place worse and i would not come over here if a bunch of robberys happen at this location. overall i love this place, been coming here since i was born but i just hope crime doesnt happen here.”
“Great pizzas! Do not confuse them with Papa John's! I like these so much better. They have interesting combinations. I'm not a fan of pepperoni, so the vegetable pizza was really nice.”
“I was at LS Smog shop and I spotted Ciudad Azteca Taqueria since I'm always looking for a Good Mexican restaurant!!!!! After I got my Smog Check. I went right to Ciudad Azteca Taqueria to check it out. It's a Family Owned Hole In the Wall Restaurant!!!! The Owner is very Friendly!!!! The Decor is very Cool!!! It Centers around the Owners Father love of Classic Low Rider Vehicles!!! I ordered a Carne Asada Super Burrito to go !!!! Paid by Credit Card! My Super Burrito was made Freshly right in front of me!!! And it was Definitely Super Burrito sized in Length and Girth!!! When I got home it was well Wrapped and still Hot to the touch!!! Flavors were still there and I thoroughly enjoyed the Burrito!!! Definitely a Baller On a Budget Approved Establishment!!!”
“I arrived around 11 am, finding the place pleasantly quiet. Placing a to-go order, I was delighted to discover that the food exceeded my expectations, capturing the anticipated flavors perfectly. In an industry that often goes unnoticed, this restaurant deserves a commendation for maintaining consistent food quality and lightning-fast service. I look forward to revisiting in the future, as they offer ample, affordable portions that truly stand out.”
“Has a root beer float Amazing! While I was talking with the cashier she told me good choice. Because we make the root beer fresh , I was very surprised.Restrooms very clean as well.”
“Funniest thing at this McDonald's is they won't let you buy the happy meal toy without buying the whole happy meal & I wanted the Super Mario toys so I ended up buying three Happy meals ???”
“It's a Taco Bell. What can you expect?Order your food and go.It's a fast food restaurant, not a Michelin star restaurant. Good for a quick and cheap meal.No need to yell at the cashiers. They're just making minimum wage trying to survive around here.”
“I was craving French toast sticks, again, so I swung by the drive-thru. The service was speedy, and the taste and quality were consistent with my previous experience at a different BK yesterday. However, I noticed this location charged slightly more for the same item, which surprised me since I assumed they had standard pricing.”
“I don't go there often but when I do I don't have any problems. Plus they bring the food to your table. That alone is a plus. Customer service is always friendly. So if you're in the area check it out.”
“I always come here for the Crispy Panko Fish as it’s my favorite item on the menu. This Wendy’s in particular has not failed me when it comes to serving fresh hot food. If you’re looking for an amazing fish sandwich order the crispy panko fish sandwich with onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and double cheese.”
“It's not as Good as it use to be. But I still Love their Biscuts & Cole Slaw. I just went back today February 12,2023 thier Crispy 2 piece Chicken & a Biscuit was Delicious. YUMMY ?”
“Love this place food quality is perfect everything is clean they give a really good costumer service love this placesParking: Parking lot is big and super cleanKid-friendliness: They have a small table for kinds and crown”

“I also have a Soul Food Restaurant but in Sacramento. I came to this establishment from a recommendation after leaving a funeral. I met the staff including the owner, the food, the service and the conversation was great. I even seen a old friend when we use to live here. Love it will be back.”

Indian Grill
“Great Indian takeout in San Leandro / Oakland boarder. Warning: butter chicken is addictive! Signs of withdrawal: watery mouth, lack of interest in other food and dream about an orange creamy stew over basmati rice.Tip: spicy option is HOOOT. Settle for medium”
“Three favorable things caught my attention at this restaurant. One, I was pleasantly greeted by the owner when I walked through the door. Two, the portions were very, very generous. And three, there were NO peas in the fried rice. Don't get me wrong, I love peas, just not a fan of peas in my fried rice...I'm the one who annoyingly picks them out. There are two styles of Chow Mein, I chose the thin noodles and not because one looked better than the other...I just wanted to get my fill of the other goodies in my box.Parking: A few spaces in front; shared parking with 7-11 convenience store.”
Cheap Eats
“The chicken tastes amazing. The service was great. I waited a couple of minutes to get my orders done and it was delicious. Fries weee so good as well. The place is clean and its giving me that burger joint vibes. It's a great place to take the family. Price for this was affordable. Will eat here again!”
“I've been coming here for over 10 years and I love this little place. Always a smile when I come in and the service is always great. Their ranch dressing is the best, highly recommend it with your curly fries :)”
“Staff was very friendly my first time there and the food was great right down the street from another Mexican restaurant the completely ignored me and only acknowledged me to stop me from asking a ”
“If you are craving a burger in San Leandro, and aren't on your way to, or already at Jerry's.....what are you doing with your life? This is that forever hidden gem spot, classic through and through.”
“Super cute boba shop with floral walls. Service was a little slow but that's because there was only one worker. She was super super nice, even explained the different teas. They have specialty tea that's super popular in China. It was really good and perfect amount of sweetness (even at 100% sweet). Boba pearls were decent though.”
“Their Blood Orange IPA is magnificent! I was in the Bay Area for the New Year so I had to visit their brewery. Huge brewery inside & outside with outdoor patio, great for big gatherings. They have appetizers and sandwiches but their main is obviously their craft beers. They have variety of beers so if its your first time, start with flights and see what you like. They also have Happy Hours on the weekdays. Their August Beer Festival is one of a kind.4.6/5 ⭐️”
“I randomly bought one of their loafs of bread specifically the Milk Chocolate Thick Toast. It turned out to be one of the most delicious breads I have ever tried. The bread is so soft and infused with what seems to be melted chocolate chunks. I like to devour it soft, but you can try it out toasted as well, either way it will blow your taste buds out of proportion. Hopefully one day they can make a Wheat bread version.”
“I was greeted by Kenna who was very helpful. She really acknowledge me and let me know that it's a little busy and which is understandable. Being acknowledge when it busy means a lot instead of being ignored like most places. Now I come here weekly for pick up because of her customer service and great food. Thank you!”
“If you're looking for a cozy spot to catch up with friends over drinks post-dinner, this place in downtown San Leandro is a fantastic choice. They boast an impressive array of draft beers, perfect for any palate. Adding to the charm are the numerous TVs, ideal for sports enthusiasts who don't want to miss a game. The cleanliness of the establishment and the warmth of the staff further enhance the experience. Despite the growing number of options in the area, this remains one of my preferred hangouts.”
“My son and I tried the chicken katsu and it was really good. The portions are huge and the chicken was very tender. I highly recommend this place and definitely will come back!”
“My go-to spot for dinner. I love the liemposilog and my bf gets the tapasilog. It around $11-12 per meal and super filling. The vinegar they provide with each meal is super good! I can get this everyday if I could afford eating out everyday haha”
“My second time eating here and it was just as great as the first. I work nearby and it's easily accessible by walking and also plenty of parking along E. 14th st.Today I ordered the BLT. Normally I would get the egg salad, but I saw they use cream cheese in the BLT and I had to try it. The sandwich overall was great, but the cream cheese really gave it a nice, creamy, cheesy texture which I enjoyed. The sandwich came to about $12 or so and was well worth it.They also have a few tables inside and it seems busy in the afternoon. If you're not a fan of cream cheese, i'd suggest the egg salad here, its awesome too!Wheelchair accessibility: There is ample room for a wheelchair to both enter and seat at a table.”
“The food is excellent and they are new owners now using the same recipes of previous owners. They have Korean fried chicken wings now and it's really good....Do not sleep on this spot!”
“Frank's Sports Bar and Grill is an awesome place that you have to visit. My guests and I l enjoyed a delicious meal and good time at this venue. It has plenty of parking and is located immediately next to the railroad track off Marina Blvd.My experience started with finding a convenient parking space within its own clean and orderly parking lot. Pride of ownership and management was visible throughout. It had well marked parking spaces with plenty of handicap spaces. Entry was side and welcoming and free of stairs.Depending on which door you enter through, the space inside is cavernous and tables and chairs are well spaced out. Wheelchair using guests will not have any trouble getting around in here.A full and well stocked bar was located at the North end of the building while the kitchen was at the West side. The kitchen turned out to be a, seemingly, seperate business called "Porque no? Tacos." it has a vast menu of food items. Everything we tried was overflowing with flavor and obvious care in its presentation. The chips were thick and perfectly seasoned and their salsas, OMG, they were the bomb (delicious).Everything ordered was delicious just as they arrived. However, because of their amazing salsas, every taste was magnified. You order at the counter and get a numbered marker. The food is brought to your table bring shortly after. The staff was friendly and welcoming both at the bar and the kitchen. We lucked out that night, it was a Wednesday night. As we ate and dranked we learned that the place was having karaoke that night. We stayed for that and joined in.Jose, the KDJ was friendly and welcoming and seemingly able to play anything requested (except explicit song - some families were having dinner). The system used for karaoke was impressive and filled the place with sound without overwhelming it. We could easily enjoy our conversation and those singing without any problems.Bottom line, I highly recommend visiting this place. Wednesday night Karaoke was a blast with a mix of English and Spanish singing crowd. You will likely enjoy it as much as we did. Thanks Frank's.”
“I eat at Pelton Cafe often with friends and family. The staff are always very friendly. Super accommodating. The restaurant is clean. Some mornings there's a line and you have to sign in on a piece of paper. Never had to wait too long. They're great at refilling your coffee.”

Mai Thai
“First time trying Thai food. Asked for recommendations. Not only did our waitress give her recommendations but she told us what was popular and explained what was in every dish. She even brought me a sample to taste before ordering. 20/10 will be trying again!Parking: The restaurant is in a corner of a very busy shopping center. Don't know if the limited parking is normal or an occasional thing, but it didn't take anything away from our experience!”

“Yes they bring the smoke!! JOIN THEIR EMAIL LIST! My first bite of brisket was yumyumyummy smokey. The smokey flavor on bbq is my favorite. It makes me so happy. Is that weird?.. It's a tier of flavor you can't often find around here. I ordered .5lb brisket and .5lb of pulled pork, plus 16oz of the mac and cheese to share with my spouse. My eyes were much bigger than my stomach cause I thought no way will this be enough, especially cause it was just so good. We ate and ate and got so freaking full. Couldn't even finish the plate. We enjoyed our meal and we're excited to try more from Quin and enjoy that smokey flavor again. There was nothing dry about these meats, the flavor was perfection and the mac and cheese has the balance of flavors I always dreamed of finding somewhere. Prior to this whole foods had my favorite mac and cheese. And if you prefer saucy meats they do include a very tasty sauce. Join the list! Thanks for taking the time to perfect your work Quin Fantastique!!”

“I've seen a noticeable improvement in regards to customer service. The food is always good, but the last 4 times I've gone, I see the service getting better. Last Wednesday I had a very nice & efficient guy help me. His pleasant demeanor was more than I personally expect from what is basically fast food. 4.5/5Parking: Lots of parking, but it does get packed on weekends.”

“Simply the best -- potatoes not over cooked, perfect balance of mustard, vinegar & mild sweetness. Very hard to find-- would love to see it in the big grocery stores, not just Costco. - I'm addicted- it's that good.”

“Wow this place is amazing!!!! Every slider is packed with a flavorful punch!!! Be warned the levels of spiciness range from low to extreme. I respect Dave’s Hot Chicken for keeping their menu affordable to the community, thank you for that. The sliders are cooked to order, very juicy, flavorful and HUGE! If you are not adding honey to your slider you are eating it wrong!!!! Eat the slider with honey folks, you will experience a powerful majestic energy within your mouth as you devour the monstrous slider. Love this place!!!To the owner: I suggest adding some music to the place.”
“This place was clean and the waiters was very nice and pleasant. The only thing wrong about here, it really isn't a dinner kind of place. But i did like my Shrimp's and French fries.”
“Excellent service and delicious, authentic Mexican food in a very family-run restaurant. The chile relleno was the best we've had, and the carne asada burrito bowl came with terrific grilled vegetables and had l wonderful flavors throughout. We'll definitely visit again when we're in the area, or one of their 3-4 sister restaurants by the same name.”

“Mini burgers. Cheese fries. Beer. Chicken wings. Kasadilla. Tequila Margheritas. Shots of vodka. Gathering with the girlies. We got a little loud but they were nice to us. Idk if they were nice to the old homeless lady tryna get outa the rain for a minute but i gave her a ride like a whole mile away up a hill to where she wanted to go. It was pouring. Like literally pouring. Thats what brought my stars down. We treated our servers good but then its back to the real world where everyone has lost their humanity.”
“I went through drive-thru and ordered a pot pie and a two-piece dinner and used a nice coupon so it was only $5 for the pot pie and $6 for the two piece. Good deal. Thanks for the coupon KFC”
“I've always liked Taqueria Los Pericos, they have several locations and I've only ever been to this one. Plus in Oakland/San Leandro/East Bay there are several taqueria options in restaurant or truck forms.I've always enjoyed this place. I usually order their burritos, I'm a bigger fan of burritos than tacos. I usually get their super burrito with al pastor (grilled pork) or shrimp, their super burrito comes with more ingredients like guacamole and sour cream. They have a chip and salsa station which I really enjoy. When I've gone there and ordered for-here, they have a pretty big staff and turnaround orders really quick. They have plenty of seating inside and I've never not been able to find a seat.”
“Our go to boba place for my kids after school for a quick bite. Easy to order online. Very extensive food and drink selection. The store has a pretty decent size with option to place order quickly.
