My favorite bakery for mooncakes. I’m so glad they ship all over. I’ve ordered from them several times this past year and every order was delivered perfectly.
What a fantastic experience I had here. There are so many choices, and I have tried a few, but the Tiramisu is by far the best I've ever eaten. It's not too sweet but still has perfectly crafted, distinct flavors. I brought the Tiramisu home for my girlfriend's birthday, and she was very impressed. UPDATE: I went back and spent $24.60 and received great service. The items I picked up were great and the layout and process was clear and organized. I would also say the prices are very reasonable. My checkout experience went well too! Upgrading review as my experience was very nice this time around.

Sheng Kee Bakery #18 is a wonderful little bakery in San Leandro, a newer location that is clean, cute, and well-organized. The shop offers lots of different options for both sweet and savory goods, including favorites like the cream bun, ham and cheese bun, soft rolls, and flaky chicken hot pastry. Popular items also include anything with taro, coconut, strawberry, and red bean, as well as their toast and roll cakes. While some note the cakes and pastries are more pricy now, many find it good value for money, with a full breakfast available for around $10.
The baked goods are consistently delicious, fresh, and high-quality, often described as the taste of childhood. The Hong Kong milk tea pairs perfectly and is well-priced. The staff are super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The environment is generally very quiet and calm, with a little table area. It is considered very LGBTQ+ and autism friendly. Parking is easy in the shopping center, though there is no public bathroom. There is a $10 minimum for using a credit card.
