Food was in Immediately served HOT and ready! They were so kind and receptive to anything we needed. Food was extremely good! Garlic noodles ???. I told her to open a location in Brentwood! Pricing extremely fair! Will be back, again and again and again!

Parking: On a Saturday evening, parking was full. But was able to get adequate parking, due to customers leaving the restaurant.

“I ordered my birthday cake from Max's Cakes, and it was delicious. It was a chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse and miniature reese's cups. My boyfriend, who does not like overly sweet desserts, also enjoyed a slice or two of cake.
The ordering process was easy, and Max was a delight to work with in making my vision a reality.”

“This place is in an old strip mall shopping center. It used be a salvadorian restaurant before and they were ok. This place is much better. The food tastes pretty good . The burritos are huge and the tacos are regular sized tortillas( not street taco sized) and they were loaded with meat. Customer service was good. There's really not much seating her but it's OK I always take it to go. They have good salsas and sliced cucumbers. They also have pickled onions with habeneros (which are delicious) and slice pickled jalapeños. I think this will be my new go to spot for Mexican food.

“I ordered the kimbap, Bulgogi Plate, and tteokbokki. Each dish was sizable and very filling. The Tteokbokki was hot to handle so be careful. Their restaurant is small and doesn't have in door seating but out door seating is fine in these summer days. The kimbap I enjoyed very much but wish there was some sauce to pair up. The bulgogi plate was massive and definitely can be shared.”

They are reasonably priced allowing me to try many more as there are over 30 choices from beef, pork, chicken, turkey, lamb, seafood and vegan just to name a few. The pot pie desserts look amazing as well. I can't wait to visit again.”

We usually get our food to go but we were very pleased to come there for dinner too. We left feeling very happy and full. The people who work there are always nice and they are very accommodating of food allergies. The restaurant is very clean and they make the food fast so there's no long wait times. You can literally hear them in the back chopping things up making it fresh to order. We have been coming here over 12 years and they have always been a consistently great restaurant. I highly recommend their food!

Finally, a Mexican restaurant that had what we loved at El Jardin's while I lived in Manteca ... The taste of Authentic Mexican Food !!!!! I love this little cozy spot. I have actually been here to eat by myself which I never ever do, have called in an order to go 15 minutes after they opened because sometimes, I just feel the need for some "Little Mexico's" Cheese Enchiladas with rice and beans. (best refried beans around) My BFF orders either the Chiles Verde or Chiles Relleno plate. Price friendly, clean, good service, awesome food. The parking area is a little challenging however, I'll wait for a spot, their food is well worth the wait in my opinion. Try this place and share your experience.”

“This review is based on personal memories. My family and I lived in Hayward many years ago and would often go to the Hickory Pit for meals. My father had a sign business in Hayward and even painted some of their signs. Although my sister and I live over an hour away now, we will often stop at the Hickory Pit for a meal when we go to the cemetery in Hayward to visit our parents grave sites. That is what we did in August on the anniversary of our mother's death. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Hickory Pit and laughed and cried with fond memories from long ago. I can't believe the Hickory Pit is still there after all these years. The food is still delicious. And our server was very sweet and kind. So many of the old haunts like Bancheros and the Ranch are now closed. I hope the Hickory Pit lives on for many more years , and I hope it continues to stay around for others to make happy memories there.”

Take advantage as it is rare to find in a restaurant, so good and only 5 dollars. “Shuco” name of Nahuatl origin, is the oldest typical hot drink of The Salvador, which is made from fermented corn. “I’m almost afraid to share this terrific find - Mom’s Homemade Breads, aka Mom’s Hawaiian Bakes, because it is so good! I found out about it on Instagram and had to try some of their Hawaiian inspired baked goods. So happy I did! It is located in East Bay Eats in Hayward, where you order food and pick up from various restaurants. I ordered the guava chiffon cake slices, malasada sampler, guava lava cookies, and POG juice. WOW, so good! My family loved everything.

There was a little mixup with my order when I picked it up. I didn’t realize until I got home that tbey forgot to include one of my guava chiffon cake slices. I contacted them, and the owner (Tina) immediately got back to me. She offered to drive my guava chiffon cake slice out to my home which was located more than 20 minutes away. Who does that?! Talk about going above and beyond to make sure your clients are taking care of! I offered to meet her at a convenient spot in my town, and she brought my guava cake slice along with some for her Cocoa puffs, a.k.a. mini cream puffs as an apology for not getting my order quite right. Again, who does that?! Kudos to Tina for her terrific customer service and more so for her desserts! We will be definitely be regular customers and can’t wait to try her chocolate haupia pie!”

“Small restaurant so I would avoid the dinner/lunch rush if you don’t like to wait. Service is prompt and top tier. Brought my family here and portions were larger than expected. Price is more than fair considering the amount of food you get.

I’m known for being the type of person that leaves with a wait longer than 10 mins or the first sign of a line… BUT if this place had me stand outside for 2 hours in the rain I’d say it was all worth it. The food here is nothing short of amazing, my entire family is full of snobs and frankly we’re terrorists at restaurants. It’s a huge point of frustration for me but this place had everyone very happy. I can confidently say it’s okay to have high expectations for this place because they won’t disappoint you. 10/10. “This place is amazing. Senaida's is a drive thru Mexican spot. No seating, no parking, you just drive through and you get your food. There's two menus to show the items they have. Someone comes out with their iPad and takes your order. Honestly, their food is absolutely delicious. We order the Happy Burritos and it's devine. Never had any complaints to getting the food here. Would always recommend if you're in the area.”

It's a small place tucked away in the corner of a shopping center. The inside is clean and quaint. The staff is very nice, they greeted me when I came in and when I grabbed my food to leave. The prices are affordable, and the steak sandwiches come with fries included! They have many other menu options, and I will definitely swing by again to try something different from them. I ordered the Bob's Hoagy. It was packed with meat and cheese. It also included fresh onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. There was a good balance of meat, cheese, and produce and a good portion for the price of $13! The fries it came with were perfectly cooked and crispy, and not too greasy.
