“Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place. Everything here is solid - from breakfast to lunch. Friendly service; the food comes out hot. Better than most restaurants in the area. They also have a small bar area; was watching the Argentina versus Cape Verde World Cup game there.“

“So this is a small place. Food is good and served quick. Come in, sit down and order something fantastic.
I parked my emoto on the side of the building ( front) one entrance into the closed off path around the restaurant ( good bike parking) not for motorcycles ( too heavy and big) ,bicycles, ebikes and emotos are just fine.“

“We found this gem while visiting from the east coast. Every morning we were in town we would go to breakfast at Amy’s. When you find a good thing, stick with it! Food and service are top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“Tried this place yesterday at OTG: Fort Mason. After eating a bunch of other unsatisfying food I just wanted one chicken tender no sauce. Yes one chicken tender. There was a bit of a wait but I was so happy after eating.It was juicy, flavorful and the breading was well seasoned and had a nice crunch to it. The service was friendly and even they still offered me sauce during my pick up. They probably thought wth, but that is truly what I just wanted haha. Anyways try this place!“

“The food is always delicious, the coffee hot, and they have the best desserts! My favorite server is Darla...when she's not running for an order, she always has a kind word and a smile! Unfortunately, there are a few other servers that grumble and talk in Spanish to the cook and other servers, which is rude and disrespectful to your customers that don't speak that language!😒 (I know Gloria does it a lot.). The manager is always helpful too. So kudos Black Bear Diner!“

“Came on a Thursday because I had a long day an left with a smile.
Applebees never disappoints. I came after a long day of work and laughed a very happy customer. They gave me some delicious drinks. The margaritas were hard and hitting, and I appreciate all of their hard work. The bartender is so friendly and loving that I can’t help but come back.“

“Tasty fresh black coffee, peppery refried beans, and the right amount of crispy and soft machaca and eggs.
This quick stop turned into a wonderful family style diner where you can sit back and enjoy your meal and put down your phone for a little while.
The refried beans really tied my machaca plate together. The little bit of spiciness and black pepper pops and it reminded me of bean and cheese burritos growing up.
Stop in for fresh coffee and trust me on the frijoles.“

“Val's used to be a regular spot for me when I lived in the Bay Area. Even managed to make a visit or two since I moved out of the area.
However, it seems the absurdity and stupidity of COVID has taken its toll on this establishment. Where as it used to be a line out the door and a fantastic atmosphere, the destructive rules of COVID, and especially governor newsome's hipocracy forced this age old family owned and operated business into hard times. They have embraced true American spirit, and are still open, although fighting to survive.
It's only burgers (their bread and butter), and only take out. Please locals, and visitors... Go get the world's best burger. 1/2 lb and 1 lb being served, (my personal feelings) Let's get this business back up and a line out the door again. We can't afford to see business's like this be defeated by bad politics. I'll be praying for you George and family!“
