“Came here for breakfast while getting my car worked on. Service was GREAT and food was good but felt a bit pricey. Place is clean and looks nice! NOTE: sit in the back away from the front as the AC or gill hood seems to cause the door to whistle from the air pressure. Would come here again.“

“We moved into Avalon and having this gem right by us has been amazing. Our family stays at the holiday inn and we get breakfast together all within walking distance. The food is always fresh and really good! The staff is always friendly and welcoming with smiles. At night the bar is fun you can grab a drink and relax here. Don’t miss this spot! The burgers and eggs are the best. To go is quick and easy.

“We always enjoy coming back to this IHOP! The atmosphere is cozy, peaceful, and welcoming every single time. The restaurant is spotless, and the staff is consistently kind, friendly, and genuinely caring.

The food is absolutely delicious! Everything is made with the freshest ingredients, including the greens, and the chef is truly talented. Out of all the IHOP locations we’ve visited, this one is by far the best.

Today we were served by Alondra, who was warm, attentive, and very pleasant. Honestly, everyone who works here is just as wonderful, and that’s what makes every visit so enjoyable.

“It was our first time at The Melt, and Luis made the whole visit feel easy and welcoming. He helped us choose what to try, and his recommendations were on point. The Meltburger was juicy and full of flavor, the Mac Daddy was crazy good, and the Three Cheese Classic tasted like real comfort food. Luis checked in on us, made sure everything came out hot, and you could tell he really cares about the guest experience. Because of him, our first visit turned into a new favorite spot.“

“We had a lovely lunch at Tri Valley Bistro. We had the fish tacos and risotto. Both were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. I had a lovely glass of wine while my friend had a mocktail, which they offered to make since we didn't see any on the cocktail menu.“

“The atmosphere is fantastic and wonderful staff. I would recommend serving soft bread with your charcuterie board instead of hard bread crackers. Other than that the other food options are amazing. It was sad to see The Vine wine bar close down so Crush’d is my new wine bar going forward to enjoy with family and friends. Great wine options to choose from as well.“

If you sit outside you need to go inside to order which was no problem at all. They can get very busy so be patient. It’s worth the wait. Kevin is so kind and helpful. “After a long day flying into Oakland from the east coast in December with bad weather, we arrived frazzled & tired but ok. Since we were on east coast time, we just wanted to eat & go to bed. Michael, a front desk attendant, gave us outstanding customer service - the best we have ever seen from a front desk staff. He went out of his way for us as they tried to help us figure out a way to get to Lake Tahoe in between blizzards. There was also a female front desk clerk who was helping also but I forgot her name. He went above and beyond to make our stay. Thank you, Michael. Room was your typical Courtyard. It is an older hotel & definitely needs an upgrade. Good local owned restaurant next door. Right off the interstate 580 & about 20-25 minutes’ drive to Oakland airport without traffic. Cons: Hotel charges for parking. Not sure if they have problems in the area, but it seemed to be safe. It seemed strange to pay for parking for a hotel in the suburbs. If you like my review, I hope you'll click the 'helpful' button; those of us who write reviews live for those and it motivates us to do more.“
